I called ahead to see if I can order over the phone but they only do ordering online on their website. So I went to the website and ordered online. I got two Bootea Shakers, a Lychee Peachtea, an Unkown, and a larger popcorn chicken. The drinks are good I really like the unknown because it had longan in it! The reason for the four-star instead of five star review is because the large popcorn chicken I ordered wasn't very large in comparison to the regular. When I arrived I picked it up at the window and was on my way within 5 to 10 minutes. Drinks took about 10-ish minutes to be ready but I was driving there so they were already ready when I arrived. I'm usually going to the Tastea in Chino hills because it's closer but when I'm off work later I love stopping by here because it's open till midnight! The plus side is my usual drink tastes the same at this location as it does the chino hills one, the workers are just as friendly and prompt and I love that they have a kiosk at this location. Tastea is a tea place. What makes this place stand out is their fruity tea drinks and fruity slushes. Other than boba, they have other toppings including jelly, fruit bits, creme brulee, cheese foam, salted cream, and whipped cream. The have a large variety of fruit bit toppings including peach bits, strawberry bits, lychee bits, longan bits, mango bits, jackfruit bits, avocado bits, and watermelon bits. What stood out to me is the avocado bits, creme brulee, and whipped cream. I can't imagine having avocado in any of these drinks, creme brulee sounds like a dessert in itself, and whipped cream sounds pretty basic however it's not common in tea places. You can also adjust the sweetness and choice of dairy. Here's what I've tried so far: *Classic Milk Tea with Honey Boba - The Classic Milk Tea was perfect. It tasted rich and creamy and the tea was bold. The honey boba slid up the straw easily. The texture was soft and mushy with a subtle honey flavor. I'd prefer it to have a more chewier/bouncier texture and for the honey flavor to be more pronounced. *Peach Me Freezie - This was great! This consisted of peach and strawberry with peach and strawberry bits. It was perfectly blended with was a nice balance of peach and strawberry flavor. It starts off with a strong peach flavor and ended with robust strawberry flavor. The fruity bits added a nice touch. This is a perfect refreshing summer drink! *Buttloada Fries - No kidding about the name. They sure gave a butt load of fries. The portion was huge. The flavors were weird though. It was salty and savory which was not what I was expecting when I chose "mild and wild" for the spice level. It tasted like Maruchan Chicken Ramen if I were to eat it dry. I didn't taste much of the potato as the savory spices overpowered everything else. Can't comment on their service since ordered through Postmates. Love their drinks! This is by far the most amazing boba I have ever had! Despite the fact that we don't drink caffeine or diary, they had some nice menu selections for the slushes. I ordered the Mango All the Way, my wife got the Peach Me Freezie, my daughter got the Amazing Strawburst, my son got the Lychee Freeze, and they were all good and this was high quality boba! They had little chunks of fruit and other yummy texture stuff in there, I couldn't tell exactly what they were, but they were colorful and delicious and the boba was out of this world! I don't think I ever tried boba that was as good as this! Plus they have many different types of boba: regular, crystal boba, honey boba and many other toppings or add ons which were so many to choose from it makes it difficult to choose, but since I'm a cheapie, I didn't choose them, but it's nice to see the wide variety of selections available to put in your drink should you choose. This was a very pleasant establishment, although due to COVID-19 we couldn't stay inside, we had to order and wait outside to get our drinks and only few people at a time could enter in, but the workers were accommodating and helpful and efficient. I don't drink boba teas often and it's been months since I've had my last tea drinks from any tea places. I came here because of the high ratings on yelp and it didn't disappoint. We ordered a few teas like regular green tea, lychee slush, mango green tea with boba and regular green tea with boba. I liked it that I could order the level of sweetness to my likings. To my surprise that they have stevia options too! We had everything half stevia but the lychee slush was still too sweet so I just had a few sips. Regular green teas half sweet were perfect, the green honey boba had the perfect texture and I loved it. Food: I ordered the popcorn chicken with ranch and their red sauce and it was really good. A little spicy but a perfect snack to pair with my boba. Drinks: I got a Thai tea and my friend got a milk tea. We liked the Thai Tea way more since it was just the right amount of sweetness. The bobas were soft and flavorful. I will definitely return and get another Thai tea boba. Overall the staff is very friendly and this seems to be a very popular location since there is always a line when I pass the store. I like their boba that tastes like normal honey boba although it is green colored for some reason lol Be aware that their drinks are VERY sweet. You can adjust the sweetness level but even "lite" is a little too sweet for my preference so I only get it as a treat when I'm in the mood for it. It's on the pricier side. They make 20 oz or giant 32 oz drinks which are great on a hot summer day. I also like their food. I tried the popcorn chicken that comes with a creamy spicy sauce. The service is usually really great, friendly. There are sometimes workers that don't seem to be experienced and get confused when you order online. There's one girl that tries to confirm your order but doesn't know what to ask for so she just hands you the drink anyway. Name or phone number should be enough confirmation the place can be really busy with high schoolers during peak hours and parking is small. Still enjoy this place.
