This place was, how do you say in your language...Uh....pretty bad. undercooked meat (and I know and am cool with what medium rare should be and understand that means red and blood and stuff, but this was borderline raw) , only 2 cheeses to choose from (swiss and colby jack) which was weak. How about some straight up cheddar or American. Nope. Someone had the audacity to say this was better than UBurger. All I can say is if I remember who told me that, I'm gonna pimp slap them. Heard great things about this place so decided to go here on a whim cause I haven't had a burger type thing for a very long time and they have a bean burger(I'm a veg-face) and my bf had a craving for beef (he's not a veg-face). I like the fact that they kept it looking like a gas station, that was pretty neat. However the floor was extremely slippery. I don't know if they just buffed the floor or if they wanted to add to the whole gas station feeling theme and just oiled the whole thing, but it was very uncomfortable walking to the table (and I had Dr Martens on which aren't prone to slipping). The waitress was very friendly and the menu is like you would expect from a burger place. So I got the bean burger, boyfriend got the Big Kahuna and we got fries with gravy. All excited cause you know, eating a burger is like a treat for me, since it's hard to find a good veggie burger. And it's still very hard to find a veggie burger. Holy crap was that thing SAAAALLLTTYYYY. One bite and my face got into freeze mode for a split second and then my jaws began to hurt (similar as when you eat a lemon and the acid 'pinches' your jaws). I thought "maybe I need to get used to the taste?" and tried another bite. But no, my stomach didn't want it and said 'WOA if that's it, I'm full'. I didn't taste anything except for salt. So to get the salt taste out of my mouth, I fished through the fries to find one without gravy and that worked. The fries were crispy as they should be, but just like the burger it was a little too salty. My boyfriend wasn't impressed with the Big Kahuna. He likes different tastes, so that's why he picked the Kahuna (pineapple and teryaki) but he didn't finish it, which was surprising cause he can eat. When the waitress came back to check up on us she saw my burger with 2 bites out of it so I told her that it was too salty. She was very apologetic and offered something else but I just wanted to leave. I know it's hard to make a good veggie burger, I've been to many places where they have bean burgers and none of them have been worth coming back for. But this was just insane how salty it was. I love Tasty Burger. Delicious unpretentious greasy burgers to shove in my face while making poor dietary decisions while perhaps slightly intoxicated. The mushroom burger, fries with a side of honey mustard, and a tall boy of high life for under 15 bucks is the way to go! read more

I love the ambiance of this place, but wish the food was more up to par. They have a lot of magic 8 balls on the bar (even a sarcastic one) and rubix cubes. They even had a trivia set. So no need to worry if your company is kinda boring, you can keep yourself entertained. They have a pool table that's free and a jukebox that was jamming out the 80s hits when I was there. Unfortunately, the bun on my turkey burger disintegrated in my hands (I like soft, but not THAT soft). The onion rings are the stringy kind, not the thick hearty ones, which was a bummer. i love when delicious, down to earth, new restaurants open up in my neighborhood. even better, this place is super affordable (which is kind of unusual these days in fenway...) i'm not a huge fan of beef burgers so i usually order a burger (i like the onion burger) but replace the meat with a veggie patty which is pretty dang good. but i think the thing that keeps me coming back is their onion rings. they're not the soggy, thick cut kind but the super skinny, crispy, light kind. the last time i was here, i ordered a chili cheese dog. i was a bit surprised at the price but when it came to my table, it totally made sense. the thing is a beast! they also had a special that day... chicken and waffles! i had been raving about chicken and waffles to my boyfriend so he had to try it. crispy waffles, tons of syrup, crunchy fried chicken, and rivers of gravy. it wasn't like roscoe's in california but still good and very rich. read more

I definitely go then when I'm in the neighborhood, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. We attended a concert at the House of Blues and wanted a late-night bite afterward. Tasty Burger is apparently open until 2 a.m., which is great because we often stay in the Fenway neighborhood when we visit Boston. It was super-cold when we went there, so unfortunately we weren't in the mood to stand at the takeout window and read through the whole menu. We quickly ordered a couple burgers, a large fries, and a soda, and we waited about 5-7 minutes for our order to take it back to our hotel. Everything was correct, tasty, and hot. Price was quite reasonable for the good portion size. I liked the recycled paper wrappers around the burgers. I'll gladly eat their food again. read more

This was the first restaurant my wife and I ate at when we reached Boston on a Friday afternoon. Our waitress was extremely friendly and had lots of recommendations. I ordered the jalapeño burger with large fries to share, and my wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I paired my burger with a harpoon IPA which was incredible. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium with grilled jalapeños and thousand Island dressing. The French fries were a little bland, but perfectly crunchy. Stopped here on the way to Fenway Park for a quick bite last Wednesday before a Red Sox game.Ordered from the window and was given a number. Fifteeen minutes later our number was called. The cheeseburger was overcooked and the onions rings were soggy and undercooked. Eating outside at a picnic table was fun since it was a nice evening.Cost was 9.50per person not including a beverage. I recently stayed in Boston and was so happy to try Tasty Burger!! As far as service goes, it's bare minimum, but the food came fast and I'm more than happy to not be bothered while eating!! The burgers were a great size and had great flavor, definitely one of the best I've had! I would VERY MUCH recommend the onion rings, but be prepared for them to be more like onion strings!! This place is perfect for a late night bite! The prices are completely reasonable for the amount of food you get. Keep in mind, they aren't gourmet burgers. They are the perfect greasy junk food burgers. My favorite burger to get is the Rise and Shine burger because it has an egg and bacon on top which make it really flavorful. I get the rings on the side instead of the fries because the fries are really lackluster. However, the rings are extremely greasy so if that's not your style, I'm really wondering why you're coming here. The only downside is the extremely long wait outside that seems to occur every night, even on a Wednesday night with no Sox game going on. Today, I was around the area and I ordered two burgers with fries, made all the way to Somerville and noticed they missed one of the burgers even though they charged me for it. I've been trying to get someone on the phone but none pick up. So, I have no burger and still with the craving. Best cooked burger I've had in Boston. It was perfectly pink in the middle (which doesn't scare me in the slightest, and shouldn't for that matter) and very classic. Can't lose with the double cheeseburger. It was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait that long. I could see if you were ordering from the window in the winter that it might be very inconvenient and uncomfortable, but that hasn't been the case yet... we shall see.
