They have just relocated to 35-12 Ditmars Blvd after Thirsty Kiola closed. I went there twice last month. The first time was a great success: fresh, delicious salad with chicken, but our second time for breakfast was a disaster. After waiting in line for nearly 15 minutes, we had to wait even longer to get served our breakfast brunch, which involved eggs, bacon, toast, etc. When the food arrived on the table, it was far from fresh; there had been a kitchen malfunction.. to the owner's credit when we explained what happened, we did not have to pay. The new Tasty Diner has more space than the old Thirsty Kiola. Its layout is that of a comfy restaurant, not a gastropub with rickety seating. I think the crew they hired was just overwhelmed, and I am prepared to give them another chance. Their grade should have been 4 stars.

I was in the mood for a burger so I decided to give this spot a try. I ordered a California burger which came with cheddar cheese and avocado. I also ordered a side of onion rings, they were crunchy and delicious. The burger patty was seasoned perfectly and was good quality meat. The reason for the 3 star review is due to the fact that my son couldn't even step into their bathroom to wash his hands because it was that filthy. The other reason is due to the service. I had to get up several times to the counter to ask for utensils, for napkins and for honestly anything else we needed. I know there was only one waitress but service is very important for me.

Tasty's is exactly what you'd expect from diner food. Stick to the basics and you'll be good. I had the western omelette with cheese, which came with home fries and toast. It was a huge portion and was very good. I also tried the mozzarella sticks and was actually surprised that they weren't your typical pre-frozen ones.

Solid diner in a neighborhood full of diners. Much better than "Tasty Corner" on 30th Ave.

I liked breakfast and their homefries. However, pasta bolognese was awful, very oily. I didnt like tuna salad either.

*The Catch* If you've used any other Chase Sapphire lounge…read morewithin a year on your Priority Pass, you can't get in, so save your 1/yr for this one!! It's tucked in Terminal B's central airside hall (take a non-obvious hallway to an elevator that brings you up to level 4). As soon as you arrive, scan the table's QR code and sign up for the complimentary 20-min facial (it was my first one - so relaxing)! Note if you're taller than say ~5'9" though, the downside is the chair is not built for taller folks, so there ends up not being lumbar support (stuff a jacket behind your back). Background: This is the top lounge I've been to by far - exceeded my expectations and lived up to the hype! Here's aspects that makes it special: - The Vibe & Design - 2-floors of seating that boast a tastefully chic Manhattan hotel ambiance. Gorgeous 360-degree central bar. Sleek, modern, and warm design. - Food & Drinks - *QR Code Menu at Each Table*: Can order warm dishes delivered straight to your table. The fried chicken sandwich with fries and chicken tenders were both spot-on in crispness and juiciness. *Buffet Station*: impressive individually plated appetizers, fresh bowls, and desserts, especially the burrata with marinated peppers and summer herbs! Light yet rich and flavorful. *Coffee*: The coffee machine makes great decaf oat-milk capp's and lattes. There's also cold brew on tap. - The Amenities - Beyond comfortable seating and abundant power outlets, there's solid Wi-Fi speeds. I can see exactly why this top lounge is limited to once a year - savor it!

The Sapphire Lounge is coming for the Centurion Lounge crown. Disclosures first - my primary/most…read morefrequently Centurion Lounge experiences have been DEN and IAH so I cannot compare the Sapphire Lounge at LGA to the Centurion Lounge at LGA. That aside - a few highlights for parents - 1) There's a dedicated nursing room - I have been to a lot of Centurion Lounges and have never seen a dedicated nursing room - this is enormous and there should be more accomodations everywhere for parents of young children 2) There are two dedicated play rooms - one for young children and one for slightly older children - this is incredible and there's a nice welcoming space for parents to sit comfortably and supervise their children at a short distance - I have never seen a playroom at a Centurion Lounge (which may be indicative of the priorities for AmEx compared to Chase) The service was okay - there as an oddly rude interaction where a staff member firmly stated a stroller is not allowed in a certain space (but there were no signs) though they did help with moving the stroller which was appreciated. The open concept with a central bar and open food space works really well for a lounge and there is a lot of comfortable seating. The food, unlike most lounges, is actually pre-portioned. This creates a cleaner experience with getting food, though does mean you're struck with the portions they decided. I preferred this model for its cleanliness and how easy it makes it to pop in and out of getting food without having to organize into a line - but others may prefer a more traditional self serve portion style. All in all, a really fantastic Sapphire Lounge experience and I'm truly sad IAH does not have one!

The mafadine pasta was a good pick adorned with springy components like pea leaves and a compelling Parmesan vibe. Maybe I like vegetables more than I thought? The steelhead carpaccio special was a stunner. Based on my 1.5 bites of monkfish I'd also endorse that. This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. I was surprised by how much I liked the edamame, since you can get that everywhere, but the Japanese 7-spice add an intriguing citrus kick.

The atmosphere and ambience was warm and inviting, while people were engaging and having fun it never got too loud where you couldn't have a convo at your table. It was also still happy hour, so we enjoyed a few glasses of wine, the QR burger, and the Roast chicken breast. Both equal delicious. We also wanted to try the crab and avocado dip to share, but we weren't sure if the chips were safe for my friend to have, who has a GF allergy. Our waitress was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The waitress knew which plates could be modified to accommodate dietary restrictions which was super helpful in decision making process. Overall the food, service, and atmosphere were great. Def a nice place to check out!

I watch the end of the game in here. Inside looks nice, booth is comfortable. Lively decoration with a spinning floating lightbulb in each table. The air is a bit stuffy though. I only ordered a burger as I heard from other reviewers that it is the best burger. It is quite tasty. Burger is on the smaller side, size of my palm. For $22, it also came with French fries. It is a bit more to the expensive side if I compare to what I will pay for a double burger and fries at Burger joint at 7th street burger. I guess i paid for the atmosphere. Service is ok. The waitress is very quiet. I dont think she spoke more than 20 words to me. Mostly nodding at my request. She did refill my water without me asking. However, she didnt bring me utensils. I had to use the toothpick that held the burger together to eat the leftover crumbs. My hands is a bit sticky and smell like barbecue sauce as a result of it. Thats why I deduct a star

The bar was nice, different vibe than the city, so we were able to sit and just relax. It's a small place..but they do serve food and had different cocktails and lots of liquors.. We tried the popcorn chicken thighs which was just okay for me but I don't like popcorn chicken normally so I had only had a 1-2 pieces, we wanted to try a lil something while we had drinks... The drinks ...hmm they tasted a bit too sweet for me.. They do sound creative, but too many sugary items... they even sold a cookie matched with a drink.. as if the drinks weren't sweet enough. We tried at least 6 of them and L doesn't really drink but took a sip from each of them. They're not really strong...I'm tiny and I wasn't close to drunk. I think I'd be full from all that liquid before I felt something. It's a nice bar but we left since the drinks weren't strong and had too many sweet ingredients in a lot of them so it didn't appeal to me. Service was very efficient but it was just the one female waitress. The ratings are too high...it's more like 3.9.. than 4.9.
