Brisket lasagna was pricy but again-- excellent. Delicious, creamy cheese. Tender brisket. Garlic bread was soft, buttery, and garlicky. So. Good. Kids grilled cheese was a generous portion. The pretzel & sausage queso appetizer was freaking bomb. The chocolate cake was OK. Service was efficient and friendly. I think we have a new favorite restaurant in this part of town. Visited this restaurant with couple of my girlfriends for a holiday dinner. There was no wait at all, so we got seated right away. [Food] 3/5 For appetizers, we got the warm taverna pretzel. I love how the pretzel is crunchy on the outside but then soft on the inside. It was warm and filling. I tried out the bucatini pomodoro for my entree. Noodles were al dente just how I like them. But I was disappointed how the sauce was pretty cold. [Service] 4/5 Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. Food came out in a timely manner. One small thing I noticed is that she didn't refill our water cups. Make use of the Yelp check in offer - you can either get pretzels or meatballs for appetizer. Great happy hour as well. If you're a fan of thin crust pizza, you'll love this spot. They've got solid list of pizza options for both carnivores and vegetarians, and a gluten free cauliflower crust option. I put us down for a party of 2 on a friday evening to arrive around 5:30 on the yelp wait list (love that they have that feature just to give you an idea of wait time), and we were immediately seated at a bar top table. the place was poppin, and we figured out they have a sweet happy hour from 4-6pm (believe this only includes the first 3 cocktails sectioned off at the top of the menu as far as cocktail options go, but just clarify with the server to avoid confusion). We ordered the rossarita, came out in like huge containers (like what they serve water in hahah), and it was super yummy. server also offerred to turn down the sweetness using less agave, which we really appreciated. We split the nutty grape salad, which was a great appetizer between 2-3 people before our tuscan trip arrived (which would also make a great vegan option). LOVE how thin and crispy the crust was (I wouldn't have even known that it was cauliflower crust if we didn't specifically order it), and the toppings were fresh, a plenty, and flavorful (maybe a teeny bland if you like spicy, but nothing some red pepper flakes can't fix). If you're going to order a pizza, get the Smokey Pie (bottom photo) it's loaded with BBQ sauce, brisket, bacon, mozzarella and jack cheese, the best! The pizza is enough for two people, but if you're a big eater and need more order two or another entree. Since this was our first visit, we asked what we HAD to try since this was our first visit and we were told the goat cheese stuffed mushrooms were a must. They said we should order half Pink Piggy and half Chicken Bacon Boom Boom. WOW! Sweet / savory half and savory half. I just don't know what I would do if I had to choose. Cheesy. Bread. My one complaint is the loud music. I didn't realize until it was too late that we were sitting under a speaker. My four year old has sensory issues and can't handle loud music, so we rushed through our meal and left pretty quickly. We'll be back at least once before my family heads back to Michigan! read more

Nice way to spend a Sunday evening. The restaurant was pretty quite and service was great. Took advantage of the Free meatball offer. The marinara sauce was one of the best that I have tasted in the recent past. The All American Pizza was cooked just right to have the meat flavors come out and the crust not very crisp. The avocado cream sauce on the Al pastor could use some work. The Elote was nice and creamy ... very flavorful... Craft pizza is what they stand for and it's all good. We were able to get a table on a Saturday night in 5 mins. I believe they have complimentary parking as well. A front bar and a back bar! We started with the spicy mussels with chorizo. Very good but very spicy. We also had the orzo caprese. I didn't like it that much but everyone else did. For my 5 day trip to Plano for work, I went to this place three times. If that wasn't enough to show how much I like it, i don't know what will. They have healthy choices in foods and a great happy hour menu with daily drink/food specials. Not sure where to start, the drinks are great and the beer menu was very diverse. One night I was there for happy hour with my team and two breweries were having a face off for best beer. I was offered a flight of 4 beers for $13 and we vote for the one we like best after. That was fun. The food fit perfectly into my vegetarian keto diet and they were super helpful in offering me options that would fit into my diet. Tuesday they had 1/2 off bottles for ladies so I totally took advantage of that. BONUS. There are three bars so if you can't find a seat at one, look at the other two in the restaurant. This has long been one of our favorite pizza places, but they truly outdid themselves for my daughter's high school graduation party. We brought in a party of 14 on a Saturday in May (my daughter chose Taverna Rossa because they have the best gluten-free crust around). They deftly took our orders, with lots of people sharing and splitting various things. Each course -- first drinks, then salads, and finally pizzas -- came out on its own, with each person's order arriving correctly and at the same time. So no pizzas sitting around getting soggy while we tackled the salads, and no one's food getting cold while one end of the table waited for the other. Every single order was done correctly. The wait staff teamed up to help each other out, and they were super friendly the whole time. Everyone loved their food and was commenting on the great ambience and terrific service. We've been here many times since we moved to the neighborhood in 2/21 .. This is a local favorite of ours .. great bar, excellent small plates to share. They are known for their gourmet pizzas .. our son's favorite is the Smoky Pie. They have great meatballs, deviled eggs, and salads.
