I'm usually not a big fan of slushy drinks, but their Sable Grape sounded too interesting to pass up, and I'm glad I gave it a chance! Refreshing and fruity, the Sable Grape tasted very natural (in a good way!). I added aloe vera and lychee jelly to mine. My cousin ordered the Strawberry Energy, which was also delicious. I think what sets Tea Hut apart from other boba shops in the area are the 1) unique flavors (e.g., Sable Grape, Cantaloupe, Dragonfruit, etc.) and 2) huge focus on keeping the drinks as natural as possible. I got the kiwi with green tea and added lychee jelly, and it was soooo refreshing! I appreciated that they had real kiwi in there - very yummy texture. Highly recommend the drink combo. There was a slight artificial flavor in there that kept coming up, and it was distracting. I'll probably come back and try a different flavor combo to experiment. Tried this for the first time based off a friend's recommendation. I went for the Mochi Milk Tea, with recommended dairy and the mochi balls! The mochi balls came packaged separately, 3 pieces on a stick. They were chewy and tasted good dipped in the crema. Not sure if the mochi is made in house or not. The drink itself was nice and creamy, with a strong tea flavor while not being too sweet. My friend went in to pick up the drinks, so I didn't see the interior or interact with staff but I would drop by again to try other drinks! Never had mochi with my boba. read more

Our favorite boba spot in the city since the pandemic. We love their drinkable mochi and haven't found it anywhere else in the Bay Area. Their seasonal persimmon drinks are also bomb but our go to is the Jasmine green tea with 25% sweet and drinkable mochi. I'm not sure why I gave it another chance but I ordered the lychee slush and it was like drinking a pure blended ice drink with no flavor. The crystal boba is strange as well. My friend recommended me to try this store, so we stopped by. I ordered the hot Oolong milk tea, while she ordered the peachy plum drink. Tea Hut has amazing service, and it has a really cute decor. That said, I have to give this a 3-star due to the drink I've ordered. For my Oolong milk tea (Tieguanyin), the drink tasted almost exclusively like foamed milk, I could barely taste the tea flavor. However, when I mentioned this to them, they offered to remake it, which was extremely kind. Despite them remaking it multiple times, the tea flavor simply didn't come out strong, and I suspect that it might be just due to how they brew the Oolong tea. My friend swears by the hot Jasmine milk tea. The cups were extremely cute, and the decor was really good. I'll have to come back another time to try a different drink and, hopefully, update my review to a higher rating. I forgot to take a picture of my bubble tea. I ended up getting the dragon fruit with the cheese foam. I love getting cheese foam on my Boba now, it's so good and tasty. However, I wasn't blown away by this flavor. I also chose 50% sweetness, so not sure if that had anything to do with it, but I didn't find the flavor to be, very strong. Also, this place is really small and there isn't too much seating inside so just a heads up if you're planning to chill inside and drink your bubble tea. Very pretty looking drinks! So many unique options to choose from. I went for one of their most popular drinks: The Mochi Soy Milk Tea. I got my drink with oat milk (no extra charge!) and I also added egg pudding. The milk tea was very creamy and not too sweet. The soy is subtle and the oat milk was very tasty. KEEP IN MIND: To add a skewer of three mochi, it is an extra $2.50! A bit pricey, but I thought I'd give it a try. There wasn't much special about it... It was just plain mochi that you can dip in your milk tea... I wouldn't recommend it. I think the drink was very enjoyable just as it was without the mochi. Almost didn't come here because of the mixed reviews but glad I did! Ordering was easy, kiosk at the front of the store. No line around 7 pm. Order was made fresh and ready within 5 mins from ordering. Several seats to sit and wait and one counter area at the front to hangout. I got the coco mango with boba and lychee, real chunks of mango and grapefruit pulp. Honestly was one of the best I've had in awhile.
