Came here on a weekday, usually I'm not a type of person who likes to write a long review, so I'm just gonna get to the point why I think this place needs some improvement. - there was no line when they took my order, but my order was a little messed up: I ordered 2 large Hokkaido Milk Tea, both less ice, and I used yelp for the free upgrade, and the other one I paid extra to make it large. - the drinks came with different sizes, so I figured one is correct (Large), but the other one is regular size, so I asked the staff to fix my drink. They grabbed my drink, and what I saw next was beyond my expectation. They took my cup, and ADDED MORE ICE into larger cup then gave it back to me. I tried to measure ice level next to the other drink, and yes, now the new one has almost half the cup of ice level. I was beyond shocked and disappointed, but I didn't want to add more complaints because I think I had enough and preferred to just walk away. read more

If I'm being honest, this ought to be more of a 2.5 star review. Brought my wife and kids up here because my wife is a fan of Taiwanese food. We ordered the zha jiang noodles, the beef noodle soup, a Taiwanese sausage rice, and a couple drinks. The beef noodle soup was OK. My younger son liked it, and that's great because he's super picky. But it wasn't a generous portion for the price, and my wife might have still felt hungry afterward even if she weren't sharing with my kid. The sausage rice and the zha jiang noodles came in disappointingly small portions, being served in a mini-ish to-go box. Both came with a side salad, which took up half the box and was kind of unexpected, especially with the noodles. I've never ordered zha jiang noodles anywhere and got served noodles with a side salad sharing the bowl. The noodles were slathered in a Szechuan peppercorn-heavy meat sauce, which I haven't really encountered in this intensity in zha jiang noodles and frankly I wasn't a fan of it. I'd ordered a large Hokkaido milk tea knowing that I'd be sharing with my son, but I barely got a couple sips in before it was gone. That's when we noticed the drink was mostly ice. On the plus side, the cafe is located next to the railroad track and my kids had fun watching the light rail train speed by. read more

A-okay. I could eat here again, but would rather not. The boba was very good. I got the red guava. I recommend getting their juicy bobas. However, the food is not worth it, even though the price is pretty low. I got the shredded pork and rice dish and the pork was just wayyyy too sweet. The salad was very small and the sauce on it tasted strange, like vanilla...not my kind of dressing.... The rice was good, and not too dry. The egg looked and tasted like it was old. It was a hot day and my day off of work so I wanted to treat myself during these dark times to a refreshing tasty beverage. So I found this place on yelp and ordered online first (great idea!). I mentioned in the notes on my online order that I had a yelp check in for a free upgrade but I don't think they saw that....and the drink was already made when I arrived so I didn't bother mentioning it since I didn't want them to waste another container. They have a little set up at the front too so you don't enter their shop, they will bring the drink to you so there's minimal contact. I ordered the Matcha Bandera with almond milk (yay for dairy alternatives). It was delicious- it had 3 layers- matcha, almond milk and pureed strawberries. Came here a couple of times, The base price for drinks is pre-inflation amounts (4.75!) I got the taro milk tea because it was recommended by the cashier, Ryan. Good prices. The service is also really friendly. From the couple times I came here, most of the time i saw Ryan (he looks straight out of an anime lol) who seems to always take care of customers by checking in with them, giving solid recommendations for what theyre feeling, and overall friendly. Solid service. Parking is really troublesome but the aesthetic of the restaurant is also straight out of a TV show. Would be a great place to study or get some work done. Although be warned, it doesnt seem like the AC seems work so it can get really warm in there. Overall a great place though, if youre in the area i strongly recommend this place. read more

Dear teamorrow manager, I've been a loyal customers of yours and hoped you guys survived during the pandemic because of how much I loved your food. Therefore I recently had put a postmates order and missed some foods not once...but twice. So yes, you forgot another item the second time around. That's not the worse part...the spicy zha jiang mian noodles are my favorite until it tasted like soap. Throughout the middle of almost finishing the food there was a chunk of soap taste in my mouth. Now I would say I was confused because this never happened to me before until I ate another bite again and it was indeed soap. Why did the noodles taste like soap ;( . A lot went through my mind like did yall spill soap inside, dunked the noodles in soap, used your hands and never rinsed off the soap...just some kind of soap situation. New employees? New chef? Tucked in a corner next to a thrift store, Teamorrow has a cute dinosaur logo, free WiFi, Taiwanese eats, and boba milk teas. It's a great study spot, and people know it. I came here on a Thursday evening and it was pretty much full. My order was taken by a nice cashier. I got an almond milk tea with almond milk, no ice and half sweet. You can customize the ice, sugar, and change from their milk base to almond milk. Toppings additional like pudding and boba. It was made quickly and correctly. Even at half sweet, it tasted a regular sweetness to me and was a good amount. I can only imagine full sweet. They also don't use fresh fruits for their fruit teas. WiFi was a good speed. Next time I'll try their food. They have some noodles marked with a V for vegetarian. read more

Came here for a studying sesh after finding it on Yelp. -went early enough to find a good study table with outlets but later in the afternoon there were a bunch of people looking for tables with outlets like vultures -matcha latte with 4/5 good. No size upgrade with checking in because it only comes in one size -curry rice tasted very home made, kinda pricey for what it is -staff was friendly and informative -parking situation sucks in that area -interior design is nice. I'm trying to remember if I got a mango green tea or a peach green tea but either way my drink was BOMB. I came in thirsty and looking for something refreshing. I asked the cashier what she recommended and she gave me a ton of recommendations for popular drinks. I ordered a mango/peach green tea iced regular sweetness in the largest size they had. I waited a couple minutes and noticed the man was making my tea not pouring it from some random liquid container that had been there for hours. I was jumping for joy (on the inside of course). He called my name and I walked up to grab my drink. As I grabbed my drink he told me to taste it first and if I didn't like it to let him know. I took a sip and was immediately refreshed. I could taste the tea leaves, the fruit flavor, and the sweetness all balanced to make an incredibly refreshing drink. I was pleased and let him know I liked my drink. The service was very friendly and the fact he checked to make sure I liked my drink made a big impression on me. I'm glad I walked in to check this place out. Such a cute atmosphere that is great for studies and grabbing a quick boba on the go. Shawn was as sweet as can be on all of our orders and patiently answered all of our questions. The extremely friendly staff and service made my visit pleasant and welcoming. New fav place :)! I'm excited to try everything on the menu! So UPDATE: I'm obsessed with the peach green tea half sweet. It has sort of become a tea addiction of mine... Also I'm currently eating the spicy beef noodle soup and it's awesome! The drink was tasty, you can tell the matcha is high quality which I appreciate. Loved the design of the shop, interesting layout being connected to a vintage shop. It was a bit warm inside but it was very lively lots of groups sitting on their laptops or enjoying their drinks. They have a bar looking out the window with a beautiful view of the street and train, and a couple of other cozy tables. They did only have a small food menu at the checkout counter which I missed until the end, but after looking at the menu online I will definitely be coming back to try some food too! read more

The interior is on point but my drink was so underwhelming. :/ Not to be that person but the portion was waaaay too small to be worth the price tag(I sipped it for like two min and it was gone, it was also like 60% ice) The strawberry matcha drink I ordered had very little flavor. Not sure if it was the girl who made my drink but it seemed really diluted and watery. I get boba drinks like 3 times a week and this was one of the first times in awhile that I felt like I wasted my money. It is too bad because she was so kind and I remember liking whatever I ordered years ago when I first visited. Just seems like another boba shop tbh, not the best and not the worst. After my first visits unfortunately this place is no longer up to my standards, I wrote and incredible review due to the staff member that assisted me was fantastic and made this place seem very very homey and that I was welcomed I had no issues with talking/brining things up since the person who took my order clearly cared about their job I've come here 3 times after my initial review, and with utmost apologies to people that read my review and went there, I'm taking it back The staff have been nothing but rude, not in the mean way but they don't care about their jobs, they take long times and when you ask they give attitude, this last visit I was ignored and the music was loud on another visit The quality of the drinks have gone down exponentially, and i didn't feel welcome at all. They also get extremely busy in the afternoons so that's another thing to be wary of if you're looking for some place quiet That being said, i think there's definitely room for improvement, this will be my last visit there for awhile but I might give it a chance again another time, hopefully the quality and service will be back to how it was But unfortunately it's the staff that make or break a place and this place no longer feels comfortable read more

Stumbled upon this place on my way off the metro gold line at Mission St. just a few steps away. Didn't expect to find authentic Taiwanese cuisine in this part of town because I was making my way to San Gabriel/Alhambra for it. Checked out their menu, got the House Spicy Zha Jiang Mian which had the option for a vegetarian version and levels of spice. Had a seat by the window, overlooking south Pasadena with this yummy noodle dish, a sweet old school Mariah Carey playlist going, free WiFi and plenty of outlets if I felt like pulling out my laptop to do work. Also had a great drink menu. Only spent $7.50 for a great, clean, fulfilling experience. I recommend especially for a student on a budget! read more

Revisited this spot during one of our hot summer days. No employees freely coughing about without covering their mouths. Yay!!! Ordered from the touchscreen just to go a bit quicker though. We ordered a Fresa Fresco and a What the Melon. Both were excellent! Super refreshing with perfect amount tea vs fruit so not overly sweet. Place is still cute. Plenty of parking in the surrounding neighborhoods and lots of outdoor seating. I got the coffee milk tea with lychee jelly and caramel pudding, beef noodle soup, and popcorn chicken. It was my first time getting caramel pudding as a topping and they happened to give me extra scoops! Coffee milk tea with lychee jelly is my go-to boba order everywhere and that was delicious :) the popcorn chicken was really tasty too. Matcha Bandera - strawberry matcha latte! I love the boba guys version, but here was good too. Had it hot, though it would have been better if they had milk foam on top like a latte than just a hot drink. Both matcha and strawberry flavors shined though well with perfect sweetness. I love the space -- bright and airy! Though it's always pretty crowded with people everytime I've gone there. I want to like this place, but they've gotten my order wrong twice, the service is slow, and the drinks are meh. Most recently I tried the Heart of the Ocean lemonade, which looked nothing like the image on their web menu (where's the blue?!) The flavor was very watery, and, to top that off, the lid was dirty! (Look closely in the attached photo.) I previously ordered milk tea from here which was literally just milk and sugar... but no tea. Not exactly what I was expecting. It's been a very hot summer and after riding my bicycle in this heat I wanted a cold drink. I asked for a recommendation and the friendly cashier stated the What-a-Melon was popular, delicious, and with no sugar added. If ever I need a sweet boba pick me up, I come here. My friend recommended me this place since they haven't disappointed her. I now only get the Hokkaido Milk tea with a soy alternative. I'm glad they have it since regular milk makes my stomach hate me. As for food, I did try one of their food items I got the minced pork rice. I did enjoy the simplicity of the meal along with the drink. If ever I want a meal to go, this is the best place to go! I am not usually a stay in customer so I am not too sure of the atmosphere. Great beef noodle soup and jasmine green tea. The meat was tender and broth had good flavor. The orange zest is nice and not overpowering. The default spicy option was nice, I'll probably kick it up next time. Jasmine green tea was refreshing, delicious and had the right about of sweetness at the default level. Fast and kind and friendly service. Boba tasty but the teas are very mild for my taste- we tried earl grey, black team and taro.

The boba and tea are just average with nothing standing out. The interior was very cute and trendy but you actually enter a vintage store and then turn into the boba store instead of direct access to the street. I also thought it was super HOT inside which I didn't like. There are lots of seats and study spots but the heat would've made it uncomfortable for me to study there. read more

I tried the lavender tea, and it is light and refreshing! You can get it hot or cold and add toppings. The cold version is a nice non-caffeinated and relaxing drink to sip on a hot afternoon. The gentleman who helped me was very nice. There is some seating inside, and parking is around the corner in the neighborhood. (Also, you can be entertained by the laughing kitchen lady who comes out, does a random turn about, then goes back into the kitchen.) read more
