Location of the store has a lot of parking spots, other stores inside the plaza for you to go, environment of Teaspoon is clean and tidy. The workers are also fast, efficient and professional especially Danny whom took our order. He also poured us a sample of the Assam(?) tea and I enjoyed it! Definitely would come back to order that, but as of right now that's enough of sweetness for me today. Came to order a hang over snow that has Thai tea flavor, Mochi and grass jelly. The flavor of the Thai tea was just right. Not so little and not over board- just the way I like it. If this was based on the flavor of their new limited edition pumpkin drink; this would probably be a 1. Poor execution and flavor. I won't even try it honestly if I were you. The cream is bitter. You're better off getting a pumpkin drink from sbux. But why Im giving this a 4 star is because the lady there took the effort to offer a replacement which many places wont do even if you tell them you hated the drink. So I give them props for that. Probably my favorite tea place in the bay, and yardy kno there are lots of them!! Not a tea, but I loooooove the Flamingo drink, which is watermelon juice + passion fruit. CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!! There's real passion fruit seeds inside which takes me back to eating real passion fruits in Taiwan.... it tastes so fresh!!! Lets be honest watermelon juice + anything you can't go wrong! I stopped by with some coworkers during their soft opening and found a spacious parlor with plenty of seating and pop music blaring over the speakers. The menu showcases pictures of their "specialty" drinks, but if those don't tickle your fancy, feel free to concoct your own. I decided to go for something simple, a jasmine milk tea with less ice and 75% sugar. As with most newly opened establishments, efficiency problems are rampant. While my coworkers and I passed the time with conversation, we all noticed the uncomfortable amount of time it took for us to get our drinks. However, we can't deny that the employees were trying their best. Luckily, their efforts paid off because my drink was made quite well. Unlike other boba parlors, Teaspoon brews their tea fresh instead of having it prepared beforehand, so you can really taste the jasmine flavor. While the drink isn't as creamy as other milk teas I've had, the sweetness level was spot on. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BOBA SHOP!! Atmosphere: This is my go-to and favorite boba place and I'm soooo glad they opened one closer to home. Lemme tell you, people, I go here at least 3x a week (sorry not sorry). The decorations are nice, it's clean and well-maintained, and the cups are skinny and gorgeous. Can you tell I'm biased? They are currently offering spring themed drinks so we ordered the lady buy which is a passion fruit tea with crystal boba. It's about an additional 0.60 for each topping and our drink itself was $5. It is a bit pricey for my liking, but the drink was pretty refreshing. The staff are pretty friendly and they were helping guide other customers about their menu offerings. Parking here is going to suck as the plaza is super busy during lunch hours and people float around the parking lot like vultures waiting to get on the next open parking spot. My recommendation is to come here on a weekday on off hours as you'll be able to get in and out fast without dealing with any of the hassle. read more

Waited 30 minutes to get to the front, then the cashier said the deal was for Mountain View only. It showed up on their Fivestars kiosk and on my app so I asked them to try it, they left to get the manager. The manager tells me that the deal is for only the Mountain View location and that it was a corporate error that it shows up for this location. I ask if he can honor it anyways, because it's today only and i already waited for half an hour and he said that it's not his fault the deal is on his store and to just use other rewards. Came yesterday night 6/18 and the girl who helped us was incredibly rude. I stood in line at the register since my app doesn't show a bar code for the self service ordering. She looked over at me and asked "do you need something??" extremely rude and i explained i'd like to use my reward but my app wasn't working. The entire interaction of taking my order she didn't say one word. She was extremely rude and was even slamming cups down on the table and pushing doors loudly and aggressively. Please check your cameras if you need to see as I wasn't able to get her name. It was around 9pm 6/18. One of my drinks was wrong, to which i kindly waited till she was done making her current drink to ask for help, instead she looked over, sighed and then slammed the correct drink down in front of me without even saying a word. I left with both drinks without saying anything. Very sad experience as I come here a lot. Never have seen someone act like this. This review is super overdue, but necessary! I came here during their grand opening event with a couple of friends and endured the cold bipolar rain and sunshine for a good hour to be rewarded with a free drink and glass jar. In actuality, the grand opening didn't start on time, which I didn't really enjoy and considering that me and my friends were amongst the top 100 people, the line didn't move as quickly. (People need to make up their minds and order faster). However, they did offer free samples of their drinks and a few bite-sized appetizers such as carpaccio honey dew, cookies, and muffins. I decided to order the liquid gold drink with boba and organic milk. The drink itself looked extremely aesthetic and tasted extremely fresh! The service was also amazing despite them probably be extremely overwhelmed with all of the people. We got lucky with parking because a car left the front of hte store as we arrived; however, this plaza has a lot of other popular locations, so it might be difficult to secure a spot. You guys, they have all of 12 items on their menu, and you couldn't make a decision while you were waiting in line?! SMH. Once I actually ordered (free drink plus free bamboo bottle yay!), the actual wait time to get my drink was maybe 2-3 minutes at most. I came back the next day to buy some boba for some friends since it was BOGO free. Line obviously was much shorter, but still a wait of about 15 minutes since people were deciding what to order. Once I did place my order, again the wait was maybe 2-3 minutes. IMO, that's super quick given how customized their drinks are. I got the Grapefruit Garden, 50% sweet and light ice, with lychee jelly both times. I love tart drinks, and this place does it right. I got the Taro Lover for a friend, and they weren't a fan (unfortunately). They said they could taste the powder, although I wasn't sure if that was because of the chunks of taro in the drink? Idk. The tea here is usually pretty good. It's not sweet usually unlike other places. Some drinks are a hit or miss. House Milk Tea - Basic black milk tea. At 100% sweetness it's not as sweet as some of the other stores so I can still taste the tea. Caramel Cream - Same as above. I don't really notice the cream portion. Roasted Tea Creama - I don't real like like this one as the cream separates from the tea portion and floats at the top. The roasted oolong base is good by itself as a customize option for milk tea. Seasonal Tiger Chai - I usually get this iced and this is my go-to but there are times when the order gets messed up. One example is when the sugar/chai mixture clumps at the bottom even after shaking. I've gotten this hot one before too and it tasted soap-y so I wouldn't recommend it. Gingerbread Latte- It tastes better hot than iced. It basically tastes ginger tea with milk. read more

They have their menu on their window to make it easier for you to see. I got the taro lover and it's delicious. Has taro chunks at the bottoms which I do enjoy. You can choose the ice level, but not the sweetness. If you would like it not so sweet, I would suggest you get 50-75% ice to dilute the sugar level. I got it with 25% ice and it tastes delicious. One of the most consistent boba spots I've been to. My favorite drink here is the liquid gold with honey boba. I normally reduce the sugar level to around 50% or 75% cuz their drinks are on the sweeter side. But that's fine though as long as you reduce the sugar level yourself. (Definitely a plus since they don't water down your drinks like some places.) I really like their boba too cuz of how warm and chewy they're.
