Owning a recreational vehicle is an investment. While enjoying that investment is a must, "arriving alive" is the top priority! Just when you think you are getting the hang of it you are sharply reminded how much you still do not know & how much still there is to learn. That is why having Jason and a dealer like Western Sky's a true good luck charm. We brought our tailer in to have my furnace serviced. While I was there it was brought to my attention my solar batteries were not installed correctly, as well as a short that was discovered causing the inverter charging system to shut off while charging. (Safety mechanism) To top this all of when my husband was hitching up Jason, because of his wealth of knowledge, and expert eyes noticed parts of our hitch had loosened (how did he notice?) by noticing our weight distribution bars showed signed of wear. Had Jason not caught this what could have happened on any future journey could have been catastrophic, and possibly the end to our travel trailer adventures! I am incredibly thankful to Western Sky's, and to Jason for showing us how to check our hitches integrity frequently & adding this to our safety check list. Justin was who did our walk around, and he was excellent at knowing all the little nuances of our rv. Super nice kid! We even got to meet the owner Austin and talk about snowboarding. So being summer, and loaded reefer trailers taking priority, which is totally understandable and…read moreacceptable, I called and was told to come in, drop off my truck for a day or two if I could. I needed to get my APU service and fixed. I think Ricardo was my tech, and this guy was an absolute wizard! They tore my unit apart in search for the issues that I was experiencing throughout the past couple months and couldn't find any. We sat and troubleshooted for about 15 minutes. I then reminded him that I needed a PM service, which at that point he found my issue that was triggering the problems on my tripac. On a totally unrelated issue, upon leaving TK, I blew my AC compressor in my engine bay. I went back in and ask Ricardo to give me some advice, and he brought back another tech that works on trucks, so they gave me a pretty good idea and had start on what I need to get checked out at Peterbilt up the road on the 15th.. It took a little bit of time to get in, but I was just sitting anyways and I live right down the street. I've called this place before, sometimes they're busy, other times they're not. But for the service and professionalism you will get here, it's definitely best to wait if you can. Thank you SonsRay! My helpful hint would be to avoid 4th Street through the downtown area at all costs. The warmer weather has the homeless folks out in full force, jaywalking, ignoring walk signs, as well as crosswalks. I take the freeway to the Wells exit as a safety precaution for all, including me.

This summer, I had my leaky broken skylight pulled out & replaced with a much better one. Then, my CO2 detector went dead & they were able to squeeze me in & get that done ASAP. My only regret is I that I didn't originally buy my camper from them. I purchased it at Blue Compass RV in Avondale, AZ. It's been 100% reliable for the 25 hours I have on it, and the guys at Tractor City were easy to deal with and fair. Also, tractor shoppers should know that LS is a company that was spun off from LG (the people who make many home appliances), and they've been making tractors for years, including the sub-55hp New Holland tractors. It's a solid brand.
