C'mon, how can you resist a name like that! It's a nice, simple donut place. The selection isn't huge, but it doesn't have to be. You'll have no trouble finding what you like. The donuts? Well, I put them to my donut test. I had a glazed twist and a cake donut. Both passed the test with flying colors. You can tell a good donut because it does not have an oily aftertaste. These were both excellent. On top of that, the prices are lower than any donut shop I've been to in a long time. The woman who was working there, I think she was the owner, was super nice. I had coffee as well. Great coffee. They also have ham and cheese croissants, boba, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and canned and bottled drinks. Parking is plentiful and easy, right in front. There are some tables and chairs so you can sit and relax over some good coffee and "Jelly" donuts!

But the positive side to that is I can choose to not add those things and save some money while still enjoying the basic Mochinut experience... as long as it's not Monday or Tuesday.... I'm assuming that Monday and Tuesday were not busy enough for them and they had to do their best to utilize their staff on the other days and it seems that they chose to be open on the weekends over Monday and Tuesday, which is probably a good business decision... So I'd rather them stick around because they make good decisions for their business, even though they're kinda not available when I want. It's better to have them survive in this hard California business climate. There is nothing like Mochinut, so we can all compromise a bit. So there you go if I didn't have any issues with open days & upcharges, they'd have a five star based on product & service.
