After a day of walking up and down Hollywood Blvd, my friends and I decided to go to this restaurant for drinks and food. Let me start with I'm not picky at all but there were too many issues. Our first round of drinks came out tasty which is part of me rating 2 stars. The next round, my friends drinks didn't come out good. Why? IDK because they ordered a 2nd round of the same darn drinks. The forks we were given had dried food on them still, 3 out of 4 of our food orders came out incorrect I.e steak instead of chicken, fried shrimp instead of grilled, the nachos had burnt tortilla chips. It was just too much. We felt bad pointing out so many wrong things. My street tacos had 1 shrimp on each taco tf? I would recommend probably only taking a chance on the drinks but not the food! The server was amazingly nice and did a great job with everything going on which is another reason for the 2 stars but everything else just did not help us have the good experience we were trying so hard to have because this business has 4 stars. I came with my friends & the security named Devin said I can sit anywhere as long as I don't drink so I'm sitting at the bar &I the other security says I can't sit at the bar without my id... so I told him the obviously new security who didn't know what he was talking about said I couldn't sit at the bar cus I didn't have my Id after the fact that I was already sitting at the bar. & made me move to another seat.. very unprofessional & he was very rude about it.. will never be coming back here.. very bad customer service !! Bomb Food, Cute Servers and a chill atmosphere, what more could you ask for? I come here from time to time, recently I was waited on by Marissa, super sweet, genuine and friendly.She gave many reccommendations and detailed descriptions of what was in the foods, I was there with my sister and she has a gluten/lactose problem. I was also introduced to the Italiano Marg which was great, Marissa was right, the amaretto gives it a kick. Definitely can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. I ordered the shrimp burrito, and it was the best burrito ever, it was ginormous. Taquitos, huge and delicious, I have never seen taquitos this big in my life, it was equivalent to 10 small regular taquitos that we are used to seeing. Nachos, loaded with amazing goodness and your choice of meat Fries, these are not your ordinary fries, imagine everything you would expect on a nacho but instead of the tortillas there are fries. So good there are no other words to explain it It is better to come with a group of friends so you can try as much of the food as possible. I stumbled upon this gem after wandering up and down Hollywood Boulevard as a tourist. I was looking for a taco truck but couldn't find one but found something much better. This is not a tourist trap, this is a legitimate spot! They have a wall of tequilas and a bartend(ress) who really knew her stuff. I also ordered 3 roasted pork tacos which were terrific! We landed in LA on playoff Sunday and lo' and behold we found a Seahawks bar in Hollywood! Great place, it was crowded, but we got a table. Loved being in the middle of a bunch of Twelves! Even thought we lost, it was sunny, the food was amazing and we had the best time. Not gonna lie...best margaritas ever. So many drink choices, loved it. Solid little bar on Hollywood Blvd. I wouldn't necessarily come to 'get lit'. It's super casual and the bartenders are nice. I would definitely comeback for the tequila lime wings though. Those were deliciousssss! If you're into lime tasting things and tajin you'll love these as much as I did. Makes me want to taste other things on the menu. I also got the Hennessy horchata which was pretty good as well. The only thing was that it's pretty pricey but I went on a Saturday night so maybe it's a little more worth it on happy hours like others have mentioned. read more

OMG! I love this place. Happy hour menu is great and it is between 4PM-8PM. They really know how to make you in love with their taco. I can eat the whole menu. Although it is quite crowded Thu-Sun nights, employees are really really really respectful, helpful and funny. You would want to tip them more. One evening, I had a conversation with the owner, at least I guess he was, and he was great. He was talking to his employees as his friends. I used to come here a lot, I'd even have called myself a regular here. It's conveniently located just around the corner from where I live and it had, for whatever reason, been a natural choice for me to go to have a beer or some food and it had been that way since this place opened. All this changed last Sunday. I went in at 12:30pm to watch a baseball game. I had done this several times before with no problems having the channel changed to the game as typically there aren't a lot of patrons (if any in the place at this time). So I did as I normally do and sat in my regular seat at the bar ordered a beer and requested the game. The bartender said he would. This is where everything devolved into a situation where a regular customer was made to feel that they were putting out the staff by simply requesting a game be put on the TV. First the bartender starts complaining about "when is he ever going to get to eat his food?" Which I get it you are hungry but you are also working pal. So he tries to find the game in the least efficient way possible. Then a terrible waitress shows up asks him what he is doing because "she only watches football." To which he replies that someone requested the baseball game, at which point she states something to the effect of "real men only watch football." Now it could have been that she was a real man. I'm not sure, but it is possible. The bartender then got busy handed the remote of to the lady/man waitress at which point they flipped the channel for for maybe 20 seconds and exclaimed that the game was not on. The game was on and I knew it was. So the bartender comes back growing more and more frustrated and huffing and puffing looks for the game again and claims it's not on. I tell him "Yes it is. I was here last week and watched it then as well." I then tell him that if it's a problem I can go watch it elsewhere. No no problem. Ok fine so I sit and wait. This whole episode took about 15 minutes. Finally the game is found, and now the gruff waitress, whose annoying ways cannot be overstated, starts in again about the football game. Mind you the football game was a pre-season game between the Redskins and the Colts THAT HAD BEEN PLAYED THE PREVIOUS DAY! So now apparently the waitresses table was requesting the rerun football game. So now the channel is being changed back and forth back and forth then the signal drops on some of the TVs when the baseball game on it. The bartender exclaims that he can't have some of the TVs not working so turns it back to the rerun football game. I told him that it was working fine. Then he says he doesn't know who was here first and the football game was going to stay on. At that point I literally couldn't believe my ears. I was there first. The football request didn't come for 15 minutes after the game was changed. I stood up asked how much I owed for the beer I didn't drink, the bartender said $5 which I took from my wallet threw on the bar and stated that I'd been here 55 times since the place opened and that I couldn't believe that that is how he treats a regular customer to which he said that he tried to get the game. I stated I would not be back, and I won't. So congrats TeKila your terrible customer service has cost you 2 long time customers as my girlfriend won't be back here either. I would not recommend any place that treats it's regulars as poorly as this. I headed straight over to the newly opened Cabo Cantina where I paid $25 for 4 beers and a quesadilla. If you want good mexican food Los Burritos is phenomenal. The tacos dorados combination plate is ridiculously good and it's only a couple doors down from this place and much cheaper. read more

So much fun! We flew into Burbank to go to a concert and found this bar to watch the game. We were welcomed from Seattle with open arms and got to raise the 12th man flag. The staff did a good job of accommodating my guests, luckily for us they had happy hour specials while we there from 4-8pm, even on the weekends. Came here with the girlfriend last weekend for dinner, and I wasn't impressed with the food and I was even less impressed with the management. Let's start with the restaurant itself: it was Friday evening around 8pm and the place was practically empty. There were a few people at the bar watching the Lakers game, but there was only one other couple eating in the dining area when we got there. I thought that was a pretty bad sign for a restaurant in Hollywood on Friday night. Second thing that upset me: our table was completely wobbly. I didn't notice until we actually got our food, but it was pretty annoying having to eat on such a wobbly table (it was so wobbly that there were a couple of times when I thought our drinks would slide straight off of the table. 3rd bad sign: the restaurants were small and nasty. I didn't actually go myself, but my girlfriend went and she wasn't impressed. After hearing about her experience with the restrooms, I figured that I would just hold it until I got home. Food: boring. I wouldn't say that there was anything horribly wrong with my meal, but it was just completely boring and didn't seem like authentic Mexican food. I ordered the carnitas enchiladas, and I would say that the meat was definitely tougher/chewier than I would have liked. Overall, the food was pretty bland. Service: decent. Our waitress was friendly enough, but she seemed to disappear for long periods of time even though the restaurant was so empty. Management: very poor. The only reason we even came to this restaurant was because we had a $20 for $40 Amazon Local voucher to use. The promotional period for the voucher had already expired, but the voucher clearly stated that the actual amount paid for the voucher ($20) would never expire. When we explained this to the waitress, she wasn't sure so she had to go ask her manager. When the manager came over, he said that they stopped accepting those Amazon vouchers. I thought that he was going to say that he wouldn't honor the $20 purchase price of an expired voucher, but he said that they stopped accepting the vouchers altogether about 6 months ago (even during the promotional period). I thought that this was a little odd and we asked him about it, but he just said that they "had issues with Amazon." I'm not sure what issues he could have been referring to, but it wasn't worth arguing with him any further and I just paid the full amount. I sent an e-mail to Amazon the next day, and they promptly refunded our money. My issue with Tekila's management: if you sign up for a deal with Groupon/Living Social/Amazon local, you should probably know what you're getting yourself into. You probably felt the need to sign up in the first place because: 1) your business wasn't doing as well as you'd like or 2) you wanted to introduce your business to new customers. My girlfriend and I were new customers, and for all you know we could have recommended your restaurant to our friends and coworkers. You should have taken this opportunity to raise your effort level and really impress your customers during the promotional period. But instead, you served us a lackluster meal and then you decided to be a cheapskate and refuse to honor the $20 voucher amount. What do you get for that? A 1 star Yelp review. read more
