I havent had TAG for many years after an experience with their food i had. However, i really, really wanted falafel and i saw that they were one of the places that offered it in the dense pita bread. Man, this was the best falafel pita ive had. Ive tried all the places here in the valley, and none of them used this kind of pita that i enjoy. I have to drive to anaheim for that. This place is amazing. I love it for lunch because they are quick and once you get to the front your food is ready for you. The reason is because there are five stations with all the meats and all the vegetables sitting in front of the server. You just give them your receipt and you get to pick whatever you want, as far as vegetables and pickles and sides. You can get as much as you want on your plate. I got the chicken shawarma and added a full plate of pickled vegetables and also fresh french fries. One thing I liked was that he was diligent about getting to the back and waiting for a new french fries before giving me my plate. My friends and I like this place a lot for lunch. Good and a lot of food, very clean, with good service. The Chicken breast plate is excellent, very tender and tasty, so is the Swarma plate and Swarma pita. All of the side dishes such as grilled aubergine, rice, and salads are prepared to perfection. The employees are kind and you can literally customize your plate and add less or more of anything that comes on your plate. A couple years ago I went to the restaurant years ago and my girlfriend and I got food poisoning. I know it was this meal because we had been away from each other for more than a week and it was the first dinner we had together. I spoke to a friend who owns a restaurant and she said she'd want to know... So, I called Tel Aviv and told a manager. The guy was cool on the phone and told me he'd give me a credit in the computer for when I come in next. I laughed and told him I didn't know when that would be - It was a pretty rough night. Food poisoning is awful. He told me whenever. So, I went in last week with a friend and his mother. I asked the manager about it and sure enough my name was in the computer. However, the balance was zero. The manager told me that credits expire. No apology. Nothing. He walked away and sat at the bar by the cash registers and did nothing. I will never be back. read more
