Really enjoyed the sushi here -- everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. They offer all-you-can-eat sushi, which turned out to be an excellent value and made it easy to try a wide variety of rolls. Service was a little slow at times, but the servers were very friendly and welcoming, which helped offset the wait. Overall, a solid experience and a place I'd definitely come back to.

Really tasty, generous amount of salmon and lightly dusted with sesame.

Temak House is a really unique, and interesting restaurant addition to the Westchase area. I had read some early reviews on the equally interesting Westchase Facebook page that were less than flattering, so I took my time visiting in order to let the new restaurant finds its groove. I tried the "all you can eat" option, which was a ridiculously inexpensive $35 or so. First off, they've completely renovated the former Burger 21 location and it looks phenomenal. No bar (sushi nor alcohol), but plenty of seating and impressively clean. Super friendly staff at the door, table service and behind the sushi bar. Also very attentive servers, and helpful to us our first time in. I had a nice chilled sake, and they serve Sapporo beer with a modest selection of wines. I'm not a sushi expert but the menu is very thorough with a nice selection of appetizers, rolls, specialty rolls, nagiri, etc. We sampled EVERYTHING, and enjoyed it all... tempura, nigiri and a variety of rolls. I'm surprised that people complain about the pricing structure, again I think it's actually inexpensive if you order a couple of rolls, an appetizer and some nigiri? Sushi is slightly more loosely rolled than I'm accustomed to but I genuinely enjoyed the food, the presentation and the "vibe" in the restaurant. Absolutely give this place a try (or try it again, if you went in just after opening), I think you'll find it far better than its current 3.1 rating here on Yelp, I'm a strong 4.6 on this new spot... I strongly recommend Temak House. PS Items are of course available ala carte as well.

Saw that this was an AYCE sushi fusion place that opened up close to where I lived, so I decided to give it a try. For me, it was a pretty middle of the road experience. Some good things, definitely very kind and friendly servers. Consistently check to make sure you have drinks, see if you need additional orders, and they do a great job of clearing away used plates. The restaurant itself is very modern and very nice. Super nice and clean bathrooms. The food itself was ok though. They have a decent amount of options, some of which you won't find at other restaurants owing to their Brazilian and Japanese fusion. But I think they were a bit understaffed. I ordered several rolls and they didn't show up until close to the end. Additionally, I felt like a lot of items tended to be overly sweet or too heavy on the Mayo and cream cheese. That sort of took away from the fish in my opinion. Finally, the price was a little too high compared to other AYCE places. Had the price been $4 dollars cheaper, I think I would be more ok. But at $42, it definitely is a rather steep price to pay. Overall, an ok place. But I think pricing may need to be adjusted a little and a little bit more staff on hand to keep up with the sushi orders.

Went to Temak House and enjoyed the AYCE sushi for lunch on a Sunday. It was $41.99 per person plus drinks. We ordered several rolls which come 4 an order, appetizers, joy joys, and their octopus tepenyaki. Food and service were great! This is not your traditional Japanese restaurant. However if you would like to enjoy some great sushi for AYCE it's a great option. I would recommend the sangria, tacos, any of the rolls, and the joy joy rolls.

Worth every single penny. SO GOOD!!! Waitress was very friendly too. Food was fresh and everything was amazing. I will come back

Trust me when I say go to Kingdom Sushi if you want Brazilian style. First time today and our server was terrible. Also, about half of our orders never arrived or came out wrong. The server had to re-enter our order and even after a second time dishes came out incorrect and one never showed up. Some of the dishes were good, but most were just meh for the price. Fail on the service and the kitchen. Management needs to see why orders are dropping out of the system and coming out incorrect. Server hardly paid attention or cared and never offered refills when our cup was empty for half of the service.

I drove all…read morethe way from downtown St Pete on a IG recommendation (that's how little good options you have in this area unfortunately) and I was not disappointed. The staff and owner were very friendly and personable and the food was even better! I ordered the gyoza (this is fried and the filling is an in-house recipe pork filling, might be different from your regular gyoza but still yummy and worth trying), and had the Nigiri Flight which was amazing! I'll let the picture speak for itself, but you need to come in and try it for yourself. The fish was fresh and each one was better than the other. I even loved the tamago (which they prepare in house) and I normally am not a fan of it. All the nigiri were well sized and super filling, I could have done without the dumplings and the salad, and still would have been more than satisfied. The place is also very well decorated and styled, I truly think they hit all the points with food, service, and ambience. You can tell the owner puts his heart and soul into this place and it shows in the food and your time there. It was a very pleasant experience and I am so happy to have found Isekai!

Fantastic lunch here on a recent visit to Tampa for business…read more As a Los Angeles resident who has spent 1/2 my time in Hawaii for work, I am an acclaimed sushi snob. I was excited by the great reviews on Yelp -- and was so happy that this place lived up to the hype! The fish was excellent -- fresh, well cut, super tasty. The toro was rich and delicious, the salmon and snapper fresh and pure, and as noted by others, the seasoned sushi rice with the accoutrements in the bowl (seaweed salad, thinly sliced pickled radish and carrot, and masago) made for an elevated lunch. I really appreciated the flexibility and options around my celiac disease (sushi can be tough because of the wheat in most soy sauce) -- including the kind note they attached saying the subbed some extra toro and masago for the Iburi which had been marinated in soy sauce. Lastly, I usually much prefer to eat-in for sushi (a sushi bar is my 2nd home), but really appreciate the details they put into the Uber Eats takeout package -- dressed it nice with shiso leaf and shaved radish AND have it all placed on little ice packs to keep the fish cold on their commute from the Chef's Knife to my belly. Great experience overall.

I feel I wasted my money and Fake pictures of "their food" on the walls and the website?? Very misleading. Very confusing. Eel sauce and spicy mayo = disgusting, inedible, literally lost my appetite after I ate them. Miso soup too. Everything just tasted old and rancid. I literally got sick after eating... my stomach was tore up. Hibachi super mid, no flavor. Dry. Overcooked proteins. Supposedly there's a new menu coming out this Friday? Then will they be serving the pictures on the wall and on the website? Maybe invite my friend and I back for this "new menu" and I could write a hopefully updated review. Amazing even for takeout…read more I'm going to rank the dishes in the order that I enjoyed them. 1. Crying Tiger. This is grilled marinated Ny sirloin strip served with Laotian sticky rice, pickled daikon and carrots. 10/10. The meat was so exceptionally tender, even reheated the next day. I loved the sticky rice. My youngest son loved it too, so it was a huge winner. 2. Crispy Volcano Chicken. I really enjoyed this as well. It has the outside that reminds me of orange chicken. 3. Green Papaya Salad. I'm a huge papaya salad fan and this one really hit the spot. I'm the only one in my family who eats it, but I feel healthy when I do and it's delicious. 4. Fried chicken wings - they were plump and the entire family enjoyed this. The two dishes that were good, but I'd skip next time are the chicken satay (this sat around in our fridge for a while) and the black dragon roll which was good, but I think their non sushi dishes really shine. It said the food would be ready in 30 minutes (we ordered online) and when we picked up about 30 minutes later it was ready. It's super easy to park since it's a large parking lot and run in and out. I will definitely be getting more takeout from here for my family.

Overall, a great place to meet friends for dinner…read more This place gets super crowded during happy hour, and it makes sense because they're happy hour is fantastic. However, be warned that if you come even slightly after happy hour, which is about 7 PM that it may be very hard to find a table. The restaurant is quite large, so it is impressive how busy they are. I don't know when they started doing this, but now you can park on the grass in front of the restaurant so it makes parking a lot easier. You don't have to be worried about finding a parking spot in their lot. I got a Yoshi roll and a salmon skin hand roll. Both were pretty good. I wouldn't say this is the best sushi ever, but it is solid and pretty much the only option in this area. The lychee martini is sweet, so if you like your drink sweet, this is for you. I tried the lavender margarita after, which was delicious and had a good taste of lavender. They were a good combination since I don't think I overly loved either, but I liked both. They do have a huge opening to outside and a large outdoor eating space. So if you're prone to mosquitoes, you may want to spray yourself just in case you end up sitting outside or near the outside area. They also have quite a few TVs and a large bar. Nancy--affectionately known as "Beautiful Nancy"--was our server, and she did an outstanding job. The food came out efficiently, everything was well-timed, and she handled a complicated four-way split check without missing a beat. I was honestly surprised at how good the food was. We ordered the sushi and sashimi entrée along with a salmon and cream cheese roll--everything was fresh and delicious. We also had the spicy seafood soup, which brought back memories from when Sushi Alive was located in Northdale, and it was just as good as I remembered. I even snagged a taste of the calamari appetizer, which was excellent. Big thanks to Nancy for making it such an enjoyable evening. Sushi Alive is officially back on our list, and we'll definitely be returning soon.

They have all your staples, the sushi, the sashimi, fried foods, a ton of dessert, a hibachi, fish, crab, etc. I lean heavily towards sushi in this situation, so I made myself a plate of sushi and sashimi. It wasn't the best. I don't expect it to be fantastic at buffets, but the sashimi did taste fishy, and the sushi was a little below what I would even expect at an all you can eat. I usually can power through, but I left about half of the sashimi on my plate. The salmon sashimi wasn't bad, but it was very cold. So why three stars? My older son really liked it. Luckily they had enough non-Asian food that he went to town. They had fries, garlic toast, he ate the lo mein picking out the vegetables. Actually, both kids liked the lo mein, so that was a hit. They also have individual servings of ice cream and the kids loved that as well. I actually enjoyed that they had coffee flavor. My husband loves crab legs, so he ate a majority of that. They also had a Matcha cake that was better than I expected. Overall, I don't love this place, but for the price what you get is pretty decent. So I'm not rushing to come back, but if my kids do want to eat here, I wouldn't stop them. It's large, there's tons of parking, especially out back. I don't think you'll have to worry about getting a table.
