Recently revisited--I ordered one of their summer drinks and thought it was delicious. I also got their lavender lemon pastry. Good flavor, but I do wish it was heated. All in all, I enjoyed my last visit. Thanks Temple.

Temple Coffee is one of my main go-to coffee shops when I need to grab some coffee and work for an hour while I'm remote. Their coffee is among the best in the Sacramento area. I had a breve latte with an extra shot. I also tried a piece of their coffee cake. Both were absolutely delicious. The latte was creamy and rich and the coffee cake not overly sweet but just right. They always have abundant seating which is much appreciated. Service was prompt and the barista super friendly as she slammed out drink after drink. Great overall experience and definitely will be back to this or one of the many others around town.

We've been coming to this location for over 13 years, always a pleasant experience. Our go to is their Mexican mocha, we enjoy them both hot and iced. Parking is very tight, we are lucky enough to have it close to our office so it's just a short walk.

Perfection! While visiting Sac I heard the locals love Temple coffee and knew I had to give it a shot. I couldn't decide what to get so I got an iced matcha latte and the iced coffee and both were delicious but the matcha was the star. I got matcha with almond milk and no sweetener and it was SO good! No chalky flavor, no bitterness... so smooth. The service was quick even with the line out the door. So happy I got to try this place because it definitely lives up to the hype. Can't wait to come back!

Oooo! Adjacent to the back patio of Revolution Wine Bar & Kitchen is Temple Coffee - and the gorgeous smell of their coffee wafts out to greet you and invite you in. The ambiance is rustic shabby chic with well worn brick walls and a modern seating area both inside and out. The baristas are friendly and helpful as well as make a fantastic vanilla latte...with amazing art on it as well! My latte was sophisticated elegance and sublime in flavor...making for a relaxing break as I sat with my back in the sun soaking up the afternoon there...a perfect coffee break.

They gave sooooo many vegan pastry options. I was pleasantly surprised. Great service

Temple coffee alley way between Sacramento co-op and coffee shop
    Sarah T.

My go to coffee stop after I do my grocery shopping at the Sacramento Food Co-op next door. Just follow the coffee sign and walk through the alleyway where you see the anteater or armadillo thing. Then you'll find Temple coffee on the other side. This location is real busy all the time with people studying or working, so the line is often long but it moves decently quick. They also have a small parking lot for this location, but all the spaces are often filled, so come early if you don't want to worry about street parking or pay for meter parking.

Arguably one of the best Coffee shops here in Sacramento that I've been to. When I think of "Coffee Shop," this location pretty much defines it for me, in other words this place is what I feel like a coffee shop should be. I feel like Temple lives up to their given reputation. There are many locations around Sacramento and I went to the one on S Street and the service at this spot did not disappoint. The line was to the door when I arrived which is probably typical in the mornings, and as I got closer to the front, the kind worker took my order, didn't even have to wait to get to the register to have my order taken which was pretty nice. Ordered a plain cold brew and honestly it's one of the best ones I've had around Sac. The taste was just right for my liking, it was very earthy and smooth in my opinion. I'll definitely be back.

Temples coffee is amazing, the rise and shine seasonal drink has an amazing Crema and is pleasantly complimented by the grapefruit soda water. The blueberry muffin was perfect not overly sugary and very moist. Service was an A+ very friendly.

I don't know how I overlooked on writing a review for Temple Coffee on S Street. I love coming here on the weekend after the gym early in the morning and treat myself to a nice cup of special coffee/tea and a pastry/muffin. I usually drink black coffee during the week, so this is a treat! This location is always busy because of the open space and comfortable seats/couch. It's common to see a lot of people with their laptops and headphones. It's next to Revolution Wine, Pushkin's, and Sac Food Coop. There is a small outdoors parking lot next door, limited street parking and my last option is to park at the garage structure if I can't find parking. It's free to park inside the garage on the weekend. I'm not sure about weekday. I always like to try their seasonal drinks. For today's visit, I had the WINTER BLISS. Its peppermint tea steeped in chocolate coconut milk & soy milk, topped with dark cocoa sugar/sprinkles. Yeah, I'm trying to hold on to winter a little longer before we have to observe day light savings next Sunday. All I can say is the drink reminds me of christmas~winter~snow. It was perfectly sweeten with a distinct taste of the peppermint tea. Next week, I'll be back to my Matcha Latte or Green Jasmine Teas ;-) Don't leave without getting a piece of pastry. I like their almond croissants and muffins. I want to say it's sourced from a local bakery but I'm not sure. I have to remember to ask the next time. The baristas are always friendly and happy! Temple Coffee is distributed nationwide, with eight coffee houses in Sacramento area. Skip Starbucks for a change and support local!

Came here for Mother's Day Surprisingly not that crowded I was by myself because I wanted to enjoy my coffee hot for once I couldn't find any parking There is a small parking in front of the coffee shop but it was full And I couldn't find street parking either There is a parking garage I found conveniently close So I parked there , I'm not sure how much I need to pay for it yet . Service was wonderful and quick Barista helped me with picking my order and my order was ready before I even finished paying . Outside seating is beautiful with singing birds around me. I ordered a cappuccino with Oat milk and a hint of vanilla . It tasted delicious, and not overly sweet. Will definitely come back again.

One of the many decent coffee shops in good ol Sac! I like the rustic vibes of the place. Ordered a vanilla latte, which is pretty generic, but it was good. The pastries are humongous, and only tried the cheese danish so far but it was also good.

First time at this location. Came here for a coffee date. This is a nice coffee shop. They offer indoors and outdoors seatings. Got there at 5pm weeknight and there were no available seatings inside. Luckily it wasn't extremely cold outside. Since it was my first time there, I thought the process was to order at the cashier. Boy, I was wrong lol. You place your order on the left counter with a barista then walk to the right to pay at the cashier. The staffs were friendly and told me to not worry about it. They said most customers did the same thing! =P I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate. It came in a to go cup. The chocolate was hot and definitely a good way to keep me warm while sitting outside.

The coffee was excellent, and I have to mention the chocolate croissant because it was easily one of the most chocolate-filled croissants I've had in a long time. So good! Another thing I appreciated was how spacious it was. There were plenty of tables and room to spread out, which was perfect since I came with my kiddo. She loved the open space and even turned it into her own little dance floor while I enjoyed my coffee for a bit. Honestly my first thoughts were, "why is there a car in here?" but Im sure car enthusiasts would fancy seeing a luxurious prestige vehicle in a cafe and everyone else would find it interesting as it is unusual for a cafe to just have a car right in the middle of its establishment. Their menu isnt overwhelming and only has a few selections, theres good pastries to try out as well. Coffee was alright and the pastries were ok, overall I guess I was just more distracted by the business's set pieces. In any case, check the place out, parking can be a pain if it gets busy, typical downtown sac. Issues.

That being said, Donovan recommended the Bikini Bottom latte, which I already had my eye on, so I chose that! The strawberry lemonade was OUT OF THIS WORLD! So fresh and delicious, and in this nasty summer heat it was just what she needed! My coffee was honestly weirdly indescribable. I loved it so much! It was very unique and absolutely fantastic! My hubby is not a coffee drinker and even he tried to snag a second swig but I had already finished it! Obviously the muffin and cookie were horrible! JUST KIDDING! They were mouth-wateringly delicious, duh! The muffin was so sponge-y and moist (get over the word hahaha, it's the best way to describe it ), and bursting with flavor! These aren't your average roasts. They put the beans through different processes like co-fermentation and the flavors are really unlike anything you'd get at a normal coffee shop. If you're from the South Bay and like the pour overs at Moonwake, this will be right up your alley. I tried the Apricot Jam Co-Fermentation, Picnic Day Co-Fermentation, and Orange Bourbon and they were all so distinct. The Orange Bourbon one was almost buttery and the other two were perfect as well. Service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly. The vibes inside were nice too. I love the coffee cups they use, the spout is so nice to drink from. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're tired of your normal pour overs. The coffee is totally worth 8+ a cup and I'll 100% be back next time I'm in town!

The people are always so quick and efficient. The place is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It is very cutesy inside and you can tell there is a sense of life and community there which I am very fond of. There are lots of tables and cute picturesque lighting so if you want a nice place to get work done this is the perfect spot!! I wish I was able to come here more often but every time I do, it alwaysssss hits! Def one of my favorite sac spots

Dillon (if my memory is correct) was the one that ran our session...they were dooopppee. The interior is modern, relaxed and open. They have rooms you could rent (by the hour) and their coffee is pretty freakin good, especially if you prefer dark roasts like I do (the farmers blend is really good). Yes, coffee prices are fancy coffee prices. There is variety here and the coffee actually has distinctive tastes. If I am back in the area, and in the mood to have some caffeine, I will stop by. Check em out!
