Both the plates and salads are quite filling & decently portioned. They have a small selection of fresh juices too which I like. I believe the flavors vary but today I got the green monster and I thought it was pretty good and went well with my chipotle chicken salad. Salad + juice = ~$18 yup pretty pricy.. The service is good. They have trackers similar to Mendocino, so they can find wherever you're sitting and bring you the food. It's CASHLESS here so make sure to have your credit card or Apple Pay ready. I love tender greens so much! This location is a distinct credit card only location for faster service. The parking in this plaza is terrible. You might be better off parking in the structure and taking a walk to the restaurant. The waitress who took my order was very nice. I got my food during the lunch rush so the wait was about 15 min. The interior for this Tender Greens looks modern and new compared to other locations. Note that it's very BUSY during peak hours like lunch, due to all the corporates near by. You can sit wherever you like and then the server will bring the food TO you. Their menu can be limited of variety, but you can customize your hot plates accordingly. So disappointed. There's no way the food here is held at serve safe temperatures. They don't cook it fresh. They hold it after it's cooked until a customer walks in. I have to admit I have never been to any of their locations and I kinda regret not knowing about this place before. I came here during the soft opening and loved it! The friend chicken is delicious, crispy and juicy. The tender green salad tasted fresh and delicious too. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ambience is also nice but it somewhat gets loud in the interior dining area, however, it is quieter outside the heated patio dining area. Im being very generous with giving Tender Greens 2 stars and it's purely out of respect for the people who work there as I have no complaints about the quality of staff service. I was introduced to Tender Greens about 5 years, the Santa Monica location in particular. I remember eating there and thinking "Wow, this place is awesome!". The food quality was great (taste and quantity) and I would go back there 2 times a week at a minimum. I was a regular at the Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey locations. Those were the good days! Suddenly, the quantity started getting decreased, then the quality started suffering as well. I thought it was just temporary and Tender Greens would address that. Well - l was wrong. They've been on a downfall ever since. The last 4 times I've gone to eat at Tender Greens, whether that is the Marina Del Rey location or the El Segundo one, I always go for the chicken plate. All 4 of those times, the chicken has been more dry than my sex life the past 2 months. And that's AWFULLY dry! It's as if they gave me chicken that was cooked 4-5 hours ago. And to add to that, the quantity is shameful. I'm pretty sure this is all attributed to an effort to cut down costs, but the difference is VERY noticeable. Tender Greens - shame on you for losing a loyal customer. Honestly, I'd rather start going to Urban Plates from now on who has fresher food. The food was good but they really need to work on the logistics at this location. I have been to other Tender Greens locations countless times and have always had great experiences. Unlike other Tender Greens where you order at the front and walk down the line and pick up your food at the register, at this location you order everything upfront and get a number to put at your table. I'm not too sure what happened but they totally forgot my order. My friend received her food and after waiting a long time I saw everyone else in the restaurant who came in after me get their food. Finally someone came by and asked me what I ordered and I saw them walk back to the kitchen and put in my order. After that it still took awhile to get my food. Horrible experience and food today! We had to go eat again somewhere else just to change the taste of their food. I ordered S&P chicken with salad and veggies. The chicken was weird looking and questionable. I only ate one piece which looked ok and we were all starving. The kids cheese quesadilla was dry hard and looks like it was old and just reheated, the kids didn't touch them! They forgot to punch in the side order of chicken for the kids (although we had a discussion with cashier about it being extra cost and we said it's fine). The cashier was too chilled that she forgot to punch it in when we asked about the missing kids chicken! And also when I told her the food was horrible (zero care in the world)!!! Very inconsistent. Half of the chicken on the second salad was inedible. It was stuff that can't even be chewed. I also asked for some lemon to go with the $2.75 bland agua fresca. This place is very cute but with the combination of unsanitary hair on the food, apathy of the staff and cost for a meal makes me not want to go back. I most recently got the avocado toast, which was on the specials menu. It was amazing! So much avocado on a thick piece of bread that didn't lose its shape or get soggy. It had cheese spread on top, as well as some peppers and onions. The best part was that it came with a full half a lemon on the side (I love lots of lemon sprinkled on top), so I was able to make my toast super citrusy. It was a bit pricey, but for the quality of ingredients and the general deliciousness, it's worth it for an occasional treat. read more

The silverware was out so we had to get one from the counter, and that fork was dirty. Then the water was out so we had to get one from the counter.
