Best location I've been to yet. Such a brilliant space, clean, great service and the food has been consistently the tastiest. Salmon with mashed potatoes was a hit for me. With quality food like this, sometimes you don't get the biggest pieces of meat but I'd rather leave a place not feeling to full and sluggish having ate to much. This branch of tender Greens does not care about food quality. I paid $15 for the chefs special, which was a few potato wedges, a pile of arugula, and extremely inedible wagyu beef. My knife was not strong enough to cut through it, they gave me the fatty scraps. When I told them, they laughed and walked away. Didn't apologize or offer to fix it. read more

I had never been to a Tender Greens before! This location is gorgeous! The restaurant is super stylish, inviting and comfortable. The staff is really friendly and excited. I have had the falafel sandwich and the Serrano shrimp bowl. The bowl was amazing! So many flavors and textures! My kids devoured the Romain salad. One ate it with steak the other with chicken. They loved the proteins. My husband also had the steak plate. He ate it with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes. He devoured it! As a health conscious mom, seeing my family so enthusiastic about eating healthy food out was the highlighted my weekend! That's not to saw we didn't love the desserts too! New location and new facility (where Cozymels used to be). I was with a group of 10 people at the grand opening. Everyone had great comments about the quality and excellent taste of the food which was seasoned to enhance the flavor of the food, not cover it up. Even the mashed potatoes were great and were obviously made from whole potatoes, not the dry stuff. Service was very good and we were asked several times if we wanted refills on drinks. I LOVE Tender Greens. It is definitely one of my go-tos for a healthier meal. I was excited for this location since it is closer to me, BUT unfortunately it has become my least favorite location. I'm not a fan of how they give you your food - it's different from the usual system they have at the other locations. Not sure if it's just me, but the portions seem smaller here and that is what I've thought each of multiple tries I've given the location. On more than one occasion, the utensil bowls were dirty with dust. Also, when ordering take out, they left out the crostini which was disappointing to discover once I was home. Hoping it'll improve since it's still new, but for now I'd rather drive the extra miles to Marina. read more

This was my first time having Tender Greens (I went in for the first time on the soft opening). I've gone a few times for lunch and had an amazing experience each time. I was greeted at the door by the head chef Elderoy and he gave my coworkers and I menu suggestions and remembers us every time we go! I downloaded the app and got a free happy vegan, cookie and drink. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return at least once a week. The food is SO GOOD and the portions are pretty big. The salt and pepper chicken with mashed potatoes is the way to go! read more

We had been driving to other locations for so long, I was so happy this one was opening near us. But each time we've gone I have had inconsistent portions. So disappointing. My hubby ordered a steak plate, the first time he had 5 slices, the next time 4, the next time 3....when we got to three I complained. They told me portions are based on weight. That would be great if true. The three slices were tiny. Also, this location in particular offers the least variety of grilled vegetables -- and each time they are slightly overcooked. Cashless people here! If you have only cash and don't own a credit card, there is nothing you can do here. The problem arises.This company are conducting bad business NOT accepting CASH. As everyone knows there is people that just pay in cash services. Or they don't trust their employees. They will loose business for sure. I never seen in my entire life people who runs a restaurant not accepting cash. The employees must either be paid well, which I doubt? or not having tips since cash is prohibited! I came here 2 weeks ago for my first time and the food sooo good. My friend and I made our own plate, the portions are great for the price. Everyone was so nice, there was an employee that gave me a cookie for it being my first time. All in all will be coming here more often! read more

This Tender Greens is a poor example of the rest. Was greeted poorly when me and my wife walked in to the store. We walked up to the register and the cashier gave us a sarcastic are you ready to order. Why would we be standing there if we weren't? On top of that she gave me the wrong receipt so I had to go back and ask for the correct receipt so I could get my app points. In addition we went over to the waiting area and observed a worker plating food with no gloves then he patted another customers salad down with his BARE!!! hands before he closed the container. Me and my wife both observed this. He also was wearing no hat as he plated food which is required by health code. When we asked to speak to a manager the same guy who was doing this spoke to us and we told him how disrespectful and disgusting that was and that if he was going to serve food he should be using the proper tools. He said sorry your right but then didn't put on a hat to keep hair from falling and went back to handling food. He did put on gloves. All in all worst Tender Greens experience me and my wife have had and it's a shame because they're a new location in a affluent area and we usually love the food. read more

Just ordered my first salad for take-out. Cobb Salad with chicken, they were OUT OF ROMAINE LETTUCE, so they substituted badly with butter lettuce. It's like In N Out running out of burgers. $16!!! never again. read more

Great new lunch place in an area that needed new places. Fried chicken sandwich is great and exactly as advertised. The chopped salad, however, is not chopped. Gigantic kale leaves (its 80% kale), whole salami slices. Nothing chopped about it. Long lines, so ordering on the app is recommended. read more

I love the restaurant at the marina del Rey location so when I heard they were opening one closer to home I was stoked. so I took my buddy and told him how good the fried chicken was. The ambiance was great and we ordered our lunch and got it fast, when they sat my plate down I noticed right away that the chicken looked different and the moment I took a bite I knew it was. It was 2 small pieces of dark meat with heavy breading and might have been undercooked at least it felt like it was. I have eaten about 6 times at the other restaurant and it always been white meat and a very light breading. A gentleman that worked there kinda saw that I wasn't to happy and asked if everything was ok, which I asked if it was the same chicken as the other store, he replied it was, but it definitely was not, he was nice though and asked if he could get me another piece but I declined. I'm not one to complain at all but I was pretty bummed, needless to say I'll be making the drive back to the del Rey location read more

I love tender greens but I will never visit this location ever again. The set up is horrible. Opposite than most. You can't se ahead of time what you're ordering and they ran out of bread!!! Really? When asked for a substitute for lack of bread I was told no because the bread is technically free The people that work there seem clueless and there was no management presence. The food was very good and the people were very pleasant. I'm not sure I would return to this Tender Greens because of the loud music. There were 5 of us and it was very hard to have a conversation. The one in Torrance is much more quiet and I live in El Segundo. read more
