I love some Tender Greens! I have had Tender Greens before but lately I seem to be having it more frequently. My go-to dish is the Thai Bowl with grilled steak. It is such a yummy dish with a bunch of different flavors exploding in your mouth. It's just good! I love that I can quickly order online and pick up at the store. After waiting 30 minutes for our food, we received burnt entrees and side portions that were half the size of what you'd get at the Century City or West Hollywood locations. The restaurant was practically empty, yet five employees stood behind the counter, with two of them glued to their phones. It's no surprise that no one was eating here. I am a huge fan of urban plates for one item in particular. When my friend recommended we eat here I was not hopeful that it would stand up to my go to dish but man was I wrong. Similar vibe as UP and the menu was pretty clean overall. We must have gone in right before shift change because my cashier was done. He even seemed bothered when I ordered my last item since he jumped ahead to cash me out. But his other co-workers were amazing. From the cooks to the servers. The sandwich was amazing. This Tender Greens is hit and miss when it comes to takeout orders. First, I have and always will love the food itself at Tender Greens. The problem has been the inconsistency in how they prepare the orders. Tonight through Grubhub I ordered a falafel plate with arugula salad as both of the two sides. They used a really flat, small to-go box instead of the one that holds salads and other fluffy greens, so the amount of arugula was less than half as much as what I've gotten in previous orders. I'm still hungry because of how small the portion was. On top of that the falafel were fewer than other previous orders and what's shown in the pictures. I wish Tender Greens was more consistent in portions or packaging of their to go orders. Because of the inconsistency, I'm not sure if I want to take a chance ordering from there in the future. read more

After an extended COVID-19 lockdown, relocation with office remodeling, we finally moved into our office winter 2022 & started weekly Thursday Takeout Treats (3xTs) with Tender Greens on the restaurant rotation with their plates, salads, bowls, & sandwiches. And if you have room, don't forget their cool agua fresca refreshers & desserts. Our VP loves TG so much that she orders weekly, so we suggested she join their loyalty program for rewards. During one of the lunch meetings, one of the managers had a last minute emergency so I enjoyed her salmon plate. I'm not a fan of salmon (I prefer tuna), & this one was ok. I do love Copper River salmon (aka wagyu or king of king salmons) for its buttery & succulent texture; not found in a fast-casual eatery like TG. It was a satisfying plate nonetheless with a generous serving of fresh greens & seasonal veggies. According to the menu, the veggies contain snow peas, broccolini, rainbow carrots, mushrooms, which isn't that, instead of broccolini & snow peas, I got potatoes that were subpar because they were still raw in the middle. I ended up nuking them in the microwave to make sure they were cooked. This would have been a better meal if all veggies were present; I love broccolini, it's one of my fav veggies. The carrot cupcake was just right in flavor & spices, & frosted just right; perfect way to end the slightly imperfect plate. And the pineapple agua fresca was sweet & tropical with a bit of pineapple pulp -- slurp, slurp, slurp! The restaurant is located in Del Amo Village Center opposite of Hannam Chain Supermarket with plenty of parking. Upon entry, you get a view of an open kitchen as you watch the kitchen staff prep & cook your food. You have to walk straight back to the restaurant either place or pick-up your order. The dining room well-lit & spacious with lots of seating. With 4 main categories of entrees, there's a decent selection of proteins & veggies to satisfy any hunger pangs. You know what? Tender Greens has won my heart over through the years as it has established itself as yummy home cooked meal vibes. They offer plenty of variety, their salmon and steak plates are cooked to perfection (medium), and the place is aesthetically pleasing. Their music tracks are also excellent perfection. Although my previous review mentioned it can get confusing and congested at the cashier counter with pick up's and ordering, I still wish they'd put pick ups at the front of the restaurant near the door to ease the congestion but other than that I am so happy to have Tender Greens in my life. The olive oil cake is to die for in its simplicity and richness. read more

i have always enjoyed the food at tender greens when eating in the restaurant. twice now i have ordered the short ribs which i have enjoyed at the restaurant. however the first time i ordered it for delivery i thought maybe the poor quality was a one off. however i ordered it again last night. the "short rib" was the biggest chunk of fat and gristle ever with hardly any meat. it was an expensive poorly presented meal. i would not recommend this dish for take out. i tried to call to have a conversation but there were only automated choices. read more

I love the food at Tender Greens. It is the type of healthy, whole food that I make regularly at home. So when I don't have time to cook, TG is always a great alternative. My rating is focused mostly on the service at this particular location and specifically toward management. There seem to be a lot of hard working people at this location but CLEARLY never enough. There is simply never enough cooks, cashiers, service staff no matter what time of day I visit. Today I waited 45-mins for two entrees that I ordered to go. I hope you'll do better for the locals who support this restaurant. The food is great but this is NOT that type of restaurant.
