Wonderful breakfast in a lovely setting, sitting on the front patio in a largely residential neighborhood in Queen Anne. What's not to like?

This is an OK place for brunch. Prices: a few $ over what I'd expect. I got a breakfast sandwich for $8. Food: my order was a breakfast sandwich bagel. Bacon was delicious, and 2 eggs was a nice touch. Got a side of underwhelming potatoes, which were bland to say the least. I do not recommend the potatoes- no amount of ketchup, salt, and pepper could make them taste good. My friend got a brussel prouts hash which was pretty good- but not $15 good, like they charge. The coffee there only comes in a giant French press. Nothing by the cup. Service: underwhelming and slow. Not a whole lot of parking. Would I go there again? Unlikely. read more

If there was a 5+ I would certainly give it one! Yummy fresh and super unique on some of the entrees !! Brussels sprout has with eggs was tremendously flavorful. The ladies cooking and serving were very customer friendly and offered great suggestions. Will surely return on some of my business trips when I have a little time for me!! read more

Cute breakfast spot in QAnne. Friendly staff, a lot of options on the menu. It's mostly a breakfast place but has a menu for lunch sandwiches and soups. They do not have a cup of coffee option. It's a full press you can share with someone, but they let you bring your own cup of coffee from next door. They charge extra for sides and some condiments. There's a $5 up charge for potatoes with your main dish. More of a casual spot where you can order something you would make at home for yourself. Breakfast bagel Tarzan was good. read more

Delightful stop on our neighborhood explore this morning. It's cozy inside. Music quietly plays in the background. Employees chat amiably. I had the Brussels hash and a pot of tea. I think the Cheetah scramble is the popular one as a couple people came by to order that to go. It's a neighborhood gem. read more

I can agree that the price of happiness is high, but the food was good and when the coffee press comes, you are old, not getting enough. An interesting place that also sells stocking stuff which I think is pretty cool. My only complaint Carolita is that it's your choice and I'm sure people like you, they never have enchilada sauce with them. As for the detail, it seems to be their version of chilachilas that I like but it's better than omitting the enchilada sauce altogether. In my opinion, the enchilada sauce goes further. I have to replace the enchilada sauce with tomato sauce. Important note: I did not order Carolita. I ordered the form which is really good. The only thing I have against the enchilada sauce is the eggs. (Translated by Google) Interesting place, it also sells convenience store items, which I think is pretty cool. I went here for brunch and it was superrrr crowded! It's a hit spot on the weekends. It's a mom and pop kind of cafe that also has some groceries. My boyfriend got the pesto sandwich with a side of fruit. I got the bagel egg sandwich and it was delicious! It was light, toasted, and very enjoyable :) My favorite part is that you can order french pressed coffee and they even give you your own press. I got a small one that's enough for a cup of coffee. The people here are super nice and I'd definitely come back to try some of their other sandwiches and scrambles. I saw one of them and it looked sooo good. You can find me and my husband here EVERY week! Best food and service in the entire area. I'm always so impressed with the consistency; whether we're there in the early morning or late afternoon the delicious food is cooked the same! I know "consistency" isn't sexy, but it translates to NEVER having a bad meal. Ever. The waitstaff are angels, so pleasant to be around and I've witnessed them deal with some pretty obnoxious customers, and they still are so sweet! Amazing all around experience. Oh and if you needed to pick up a few things for your home, I.e. gallon of milk, crackers, wine, art work, etc. they have that too!!! I happened to be in Queen Anne and was starving so I decided to order some sandwiches from here because they were just down the street from my location. I ordered a Max breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread and a gluten free tuna sandwich with a bag of kettle chips to take home to my husband. The breakfast sandwich was 2 eggs with spinach, tomato and avocado on gluten free bread. First off, the sandwich was extremely tiny. The gluten free slices were each about half the size as a regular non gluten free slice of bread so when cut in half each half of the sandwich was about an inch and a half wide. The cooked spinach was also extremely watery so that the bottom slice of bread was completely soaked through and falling apart even though I was eating it right after receiving it. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the tomato was ok for it being a December tomato and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Overall, I would probably give it a 2.5 out of 5 rating. The tuna sandwich I took home to the hubby had the same size issue due to the gluten free bread. He laughed when he opened the box about the tiny size but wasn't laughing when I told him how much it cost. He said the tuna tasted good but would never order it again due to how much it cost for the tiny little sandwich. He gave it a 2.5-3 star rating. It is frustrating as a gluten free family who has to eat gluten free due to a severe allergy to feel like we get short changed when eating out. read more

If you're staying in the Queen Anne district what a great mom and pop place to go for breakfast. I had a couple of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and toasted baguette and Emma had ham, cheese and egg on an English muffin. Both tasted great. The coffee was amazing and so was the service. Found this gem while cat sitting in the area (pause for laughter, yes it's a thing in Seattle). Great service, self service options too. Family owner I pretty sure. Friendly staff who seem to genuinely enjoy working here and take pride in making a meal that will make you happy every time. I've been in here several times, for breakfast, lunch and coffee while getting some work done. The food has always been perfect. They cure all of their own meats so any sandwich will be delicious. They have the best rueben in Seattle, hands down. (They claim that's it's the best one PERIOD, and although I've been on a hunt for an even better one, they win so far!) The space is nice. It's a little neighborhood deli and small grocery shop, but there are plenty of tables to get comfortably situated. Outdoor seating is available and must be awesome on a summer day. Because it's a neighborhood shop that is family owned, they close "around two", but will sometimes stay open if they are busy enough. If you don't want to miss it, get here before 2 and you should be fine. It's a small inconvenience for us, but sounds like a fantastic way to accommodate your clientele and staff, who obviously love working there. read more

The perfect neighborhood brunch spot, that makes the neighborhood feel like a neighborhood. It's a pretty classic menu like scrambles and sandwiches. Though that may not sound the most exciting, it somehow is. Ingredients are as fresh as can be, and cooked fresh to perfection. You'll recognize the same awesome hard-working genuine ladies running the joint everyday (except Mondays? when they're closed). It's a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, perfect to start your day. Whether it's packed or empty, it always feels warm and welcoming. They even have sort of a mini grocery section selling much of what they use, which has come in handy a handful times. The kind of gem that makes you wish you lived in the same neighborhood, so you could call it "our breakfast place." Linda is friendly and warm and good at what she does. We were made to feel welcome and valued, and our requests were met with easy charm. Breakfast was very good -- eggs cooked perfectly, tasty grilled potatoes and thick, crisp bacon that may be too peppery for some, but was just right for me. The French press coffee is delicious, and having your own press at the table is liberating... no hoping for a passing server at the right time when your cup gets empty or cold. Our second visit here was cut short due to an unexpected urgency and we had to leave abruptly. This was something Linda could have handled any number of ways. She chose grace, kindness and compassion, and we're very grateful. read more
