Chips, salsa and guacamole. All were fantastic!

We were sat immediately at lunch. The server was friendly, attentive, and checked on this multiple times throughout our meal. Food came out quickly and hot.

We went here with another couple and thankfully had a reservation. For me, the restaurant was very loud. It was busy and the music was also a bit loud. If it had just been my husband and I, we would have preferred the bar seating. The service was quick. I enjoyed my organico margarita. As far as food, my husband had the fajitas that had pork shoulder and pork belly. The flavor was nice but some of it was very fatty. As far as the rice and beans, he said they were cold. He wouldn't really eat much if they had been hot so he didn't bother to say anything. I had the tuna ceviche. Good flavor but probably more of an appetizer than a main course, which is my mistake.

Tequila Chulos is the most expensive and best beef n chicken fajita sizzling platter I've ever had the pleasure of eating. It was a little heavy on the onions and the accoutrement (rice, beans, cheese, lettuce) was a little light for my tortilla assembly. The elote was meh and messy. However, the queso blanco slapppsss so order this immediately when you are seated. The service was alright but it did take way to0 long for drinks to get out considering my fajitas arrive 3 mins after I ordered them. I mean let's be honest... this is a date spot if you are in the mood for fancy Mexican-American. My attention whore middle class fancy self had to indulge in the fajita's for the clout.

Honestly, these are the best Shrimp Tacos over ever had and I keep coming back. Today my daughter had the Taco Salad - definitely a great choice.

This is a cute restaurant kind of tucked away off the busy street. As with any Mexican place, the chips and salsa arrived almost instantaneously. The salsa was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. We also ordered the gauc and the queso. Both were good, too. There are a lot of margaritas to choose from here. I went with the Organica. It was good but I would try another option next time. (You can also order a flight of margs.) I tried the carne asada tacos. The waitress warned me that they were spicy and they were. Just be aware. I would totally order them again. I liked how the tortilla had a bit of toasted cheese on it. The rice and beans were good too but honestly, I was so full of chips at this point and the tacos were so delicious, I just finished them. I would go back!!

Hello Tequila Chulos! I've ordered from here a few times to go, today I decided to visit this gem in person. The ambiance is nice, very big space music playing not too loud. We came as a party of two without a reservation on a Tuesday evening. We Was seated immediately! Our waitress Alexa, very pleasant and accommodating. I asked her which margarita would pair well with Don Julio Reposado. She recommended the Tamarind margarita! Very great selection I had an option to get the rim salted or tajin. Tamarind and Tajin sounded like a match made in heaven...... IT WAS! 10/10! Nowwwww be careful with ordering drinks, in our case they were more than the food. The food is good I've tried the tamales and enchiladas both 10/10 This is fine dinning of Hispanic food be ready to pay.

If you're looking for one of the best upscale Mexican restaurants in OKC, check out Tequila Chulos. They have an impressive selection of tequilas, and the bartender (Jenni or Jessi--sorry if I got the name wrong) was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. She made me an excellent margarita. But don't think the drinks are the only highlight--the food is just as good. I ordered the beef fajitas, and the steak was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. The side dishes were delicious as well. If you're in OKC, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Mid tex-mex with a price tag is the only way to describe this restaurant. We went for dinner on Valentine's Day because (1) we love Mexican food (2) we were late to the game on reservations for other places and (3) we had not been here! I can confidently tell you we won't be going back. It's not that the food or drinks were bad. They were fine. But with the price of what we paid, "fine" is not worth it. We could tell tortillas were not handmade and the chips seemed they came from a Tostitos bag. Not impressed with the set up. We ordered the queso fundido to start which was very good. My husband had the birria tacos, which he seemed to like. I ordered the pollo asado, which I enjoyed also the beans and rice were not great. The ambiance was also fine but it was extremely loud. So much so, I could barely hear my husband speak and he was sitting right next to me. Lastly, our reservation was at 7. We were seated at 7 and were back in the car at 7:40. I have NEVER felt so rushed at a restaurant. I know Mexican food is usually fast, but this was almost alarmingly fast. Not to mention, we ordered a starter and drinks and were still out of there in record time. We felt like our server wanted us out of there, despite the place not being busy. I would pass on this place and go to a different locally owned joint.

This is my third time here came on a Saturday around 1:30 it wasn't busy at all sat at the bar loved the vibe in here and music is never too loud. The waitress was very nice she made me a mango mocktail very good whatever she put in it. This time I got the chicken chimichanga with queso on top and oh my goodness I loved how it was a little crispy on the outside and so good on the inside . I will definitely keep coming to this place and they also have a smaller version queso for yourself.

Chimichanga which was good. Got the steak inside. 4/5

Tequila Chulos is where the seafood Shack used to be near Nichols Hills. I'd heard about it and decided to give it a try on a Saturday. Place wasn't too crowded though there was a pretty steady stream of customers, mostly couples. We noticed that almost every table ordered either queso, queso fundido or the salsa flight. We did not though as we really wouldn't have finished any of them. The complimentary salsa that came to the table was delicious and the chips were definitely fresh. The menu is a nice manageable size without a lot of fluff. Pretty straightforward Mexican classics as well as a few chef creations. The price point is definitely higher than most Mexican restaurants in the city but the food quality and ambience supports the extra expense. We ordered steak chimichanga and beef enchiladas and we both enjoyed our food. I cannot say with any certainty how soon we will return only because there are so many options for Mexican food in the metro area. And very few are this expensive. The appetizers all cost over $10 and the margaritas are $14 and up. They do have an extensive list of tequilas and other liquors but I just don't think $100 for a couple's late lunch is necessary. That said, it's definitely worth a try. Food and service were good.

The food was really tasty and service was great! The brunch steak and egg tacos were pretty fire! Paired it with a margarita swirl and it was nice and sweet! The building is pretty nice with a good ambiance. Their wedged potatoes were pretty fire.

Went for lunch. Taco salad was bigger and better than I anticipated. The salsa was some of the best we've had in OKC. Good flavor with a bit of heat at the end...addictive! The salad was served in a big Taco shell. It was full of good stuff but the star was the tender meat. Rosie was a great server. I'll be back to try some other treats!

Wonderful margaritas! Excellent chicken nachos and shrimp tacos! Top quality food service was great. Very friendly staff!

Second time we thought we were going to TC by 4:30 to receive happy hour prices! We did not get happy hour prices either time! We ordered a margarita we didn't like so we asked to have it replaced with a different margarita! We were charged for both! The January special is nachos we ordered the meat was very sparse! We are highly disappointed! Probably will not be back! I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like TC! To be fair we did have a wonderful meal in October 2025 and loved it!

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

It's so much larger and open. The bar is good size as well. We sat upstairs and loved being able to take in all that was happening, bartender, chef, staff it was great. Our food was amazing! The salad was simple but delicious, steaks were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese was a little dry for my liking but was good. Our drinks were unique and very good but the show stopper was dessert .... The bread pudding! I've never had anything as good. Raven has mastered bread pudding. It takes 20 mins so order it early on.

Their menu has some core offerings that don't really change, along with other items which are seasonal based on whatever ingredients are available locally. So the daughter and I headed on over to see if its still as good as I remember. Crab cake appetizer. You only get 1 but it had some great flavor with the remoulade sauce. The only negative was the tiny pieced shell in the crab cake. Unfortunately thats almost a given for fresh pulled crab meat. Farm salad was very fresh and had a great dressing. I believe it was a white balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the ribeye,With garlicky spinach. The steak had great flavor. I wish it would have been more tender. But overall, the cut of steak was really good. My daughter ordered the New York strip with fingerling potatoes. The way she demolished that steak tells me that she was hungry and that it was delicious. Naturally, we ordered the whiskey cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. It was everything I remembered. From the spiced pecans to the bourbon cream sauce. I hope to stop by before I leave town and get another one for the road!
