Went to this restaurant with a very large party for a work event and where as I'm sure the food is good when you have fewer people, I would not recommend this place or ever go back. I've never gotten sick from a restaurant before until this one. We waited almost 2 hours for our food so I'm sure our food stayed out too long and 4 of us ended up getting food poisoning from this place. Pretty good food and service. The waitress was very nice and even with a slight communication error moment she was attentive and sweet. The menu was quite extensive and it took me awhile to decide what to order because everything sounded so delicious. I went with the spinach and chicken flautas, which were quite yummy and an interesting departure from what I usually get when I go out for Mexican food. We attempted to order the bourbon sundae but are pretty sure what we received was fried ice cream. It was pretty good and evidently means we will have to come back to sample more of what the menu has to offer. read more

We decided to give this restaurant another try. Our food was lukewarm during our other visits but we chalked it up to them being a new restaurant. Recently stopped in. Waiter took our drink order and never came back. We waited over 20 minutes and finally ended up walking out because our waiter was never coming back to take our order! I will absolutely not return. The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 1 is because it's a new business with good intentions. I do hope you are successful however take this feedback as something with genuine intent to help you make your guests have a better experience... First, I will say the menu is very good, lots of options ranging from your traditional Mexican to Tex mex modern spin. I really enjoyed the menu selections and also the decor inside is something different more what you'd expect to see in a Japanese Steakhouse.. I ordered arroz con pollo it was very good and the portion was large. No complaints here and if I ever return to give this place a second chance I would order it again. My criticism is not with the food... It's everything else.. First, I ordered my margarita on the rocks, it came out frozen (okay no big deal I'm not too worried about that) then my sister and law ordered a chicken sandwich only to get a triple cheeseburger, also they charged her for a side of ranch which she did not order?? When we told the server she actually ordered a chicken sandwich he acted like it was no big deal and didn't really apologize, it was a very strange reaction that is hard to explain but I can tell you his reaction wasn't what you'd expect. I suggest your servers wore their orders down as you can see they brought my drink out wrong, brought my SIL the entirely wrong meal and then added dressing to our bill when we didn't have any salads or extra sides.. Also another suggestion, play the upbeat Mexican music we all expect to hear when going to a Mexican place!!! We would have stayed for another margarita but the music was putting us to sleep so we left and went to Chatham Tap before our nail appointment instead. They played Titanic, wonderful life and other very pretty songs that I actually do like however they don't set the mood that I think a Mexican restaurant needs to have in order to keep their dining room full... My husband wanted Mexican and I saw a coupon in the Valpac so we came. Super pleasantly surprised when we walked in. We were immediately seated in a booth. Jason was our excellent server who suggested the best seafood enchiladas for me. I also got their margarita special. My husband ate the steak chimichanga and our 6yo got the chicken tender kids meal. There was not one bad bite all night. Our girl ate half of my enchilada as well as the sundae that comes with every kids meal. Jason brought us complimentary queso which was super yum, as were the salsa and guacamole and pico and chips. Jason was wonderful. This will be our new Mexican restaurant. read more

This is not your ordinary Mexican Restaurant. Beautiful decor and background music. Cloth napkins were a nice touch as well. House Margarita packed a punch and didn't taste like it was all ice and sweet sour mix. My husband got a Mexican draft beer that came in a perfectly chilled glass. Try the spicy bean dip.. amazing. We shared 2 entrees and they were both delicious. The only thing that was not great was the guacamole. I looked and tasted like they made it yesterday. I would recommend for sure! read more

I went to have a couple of cocktails with my girlfriends one Friday evening and the staff was very attentive. We sat in the bar area and I arrived about an hour early and they were very gracious and pleasant as I ate just the chips and case so for an hour before actually having my party arrive and ordering a meal. The rating is more service than food. Food is 4.5 stars. My family ordered takeout on 7/7/2020. Unfortunately, the chips and salsa we ordered came without salsa. Compound issues is that's the only thing our kids like to eat at any Mexican restaurant. I called and informed them of the mistake. They offered queso. I offered delivery, they replied too busy. I just wanted a refund since we live on the opposite side of Brownsburg. Girl on the phone said manager would call me back. Spoiler alert!. No call back. 1 star for lack of service and commitment. We are a family of 4 with 13 YO kids and we all really enjoyed our food! The twins had chicken and rice and loved it! I had the Chimichanga El Patron and my wife had the enchiladas. Our server was friendly but not great at checking on us, we ordered drinks and asked for a few minutes to order dinner but he didn't come Back for at least 10. My family has been here a few times and we really want to like this place, but every time something has been wrong with our food. Our last visit was the worst. My sons food was burnt, and not just kind of over done, his food was literally black. How the cooks as well as the waitress let this come out to a table is beyond me. I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I think it is a "one and done" for me. The salsa was pretty good, and I liked the unique Mexican restaurant atmosphere (more sleek and modern rather than an explosion of colors). I ordered the Blackened Chicken Burrito Bowl and was completely underwhelmed. First off, it was mostly lettuce, and I would have ordered a taco salad if I wanted that. Second, the lettuce was so wet that there was a puddle of gross water sitting in the bottom of my bowl, so I tried to pick off the top. I probably only ate 1/3 and left unsatisfied. Being that it was actually a salad, it was cold with lukewarm rice and chicken on top. The chicken was paper thin and dry, so I felt like I was chewing shoe leather. I didn't care for the seasoning much either. The rice and rest of ingredients were bland, and I didn't get any avocado on top like it was described. I also didn't care for their guacamole ... much too much lime flavor for me and not salty or spicy enough. Still giving three stars because my husband liked his meal, and I could have just ordered the wrong thing. Their menu offers the classic Mexican dishes along with welcome offerings the most other central Indiana Mexican Restaurants do not. Me and my high school friends enjoyed our Christmas Party here last month. Our group enjoyed a fun, delicious, memorable event!! I dine here every 7 to 14 days both at lunch, dinner, and in between. Fishers has a great New Mexican restaurant. More than the expected enchiladas, tacos and fajitas, but they have those, too. We've been several times already, and each time it's been great. Tequila Lime Shrimp tacos are great. At the waiter's recommendation had chicken and spinach taquitos, which were fantastic, as was the pineapple margarita. The Patron margarita is great, too (like I said, I've been several times). It's located in the former Mexican Grill, but the space has been completely redone. Yes, it's a construction zone as they build the Kroger where Marsh was (116th and Allisonville), but it's worth navigating the area for lunch or dinner or just drinks. I've tried several different menu items and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite dish is the arroz con camarones - they have never overcooked the shrimp, which I've found to not typically be the case at most other places. This the worst service. We got there and our table was dirty. They had to have busser clean the table while we were standing by the table. Girl who gave us our salsa and chips didn't say one word to us. Our waiter walked past us a couple times but never greeted us. We waited ten minutes for someone to say something to us then left. This is the newest Mexican place in Fishers i think. When i first walked in, it kinda knocked my socks off on how everything was so elegantly decorated. I thought "crap, here's a 15-20 dollar lunch place" When she handed us the menu we both looked at each other thinking "these prices must be some kind of grand opening special pricing" They have all you can eat tacos, soup, and salad for like 8 bucks! seriously, all you can eat! the other lunch specials come with drinks and ice cream for like 9 bucks. We should have walked out when the hostess - who was in the process of seating us - left us in the middle of the restaurant to answer the phone. We just seated ourselves while she took the call. Chips and salsa were promptly delivered along with menus but then....nothing. No waters, no service, no acknowledgement from anyone. The restaurant was moderately busy on a Saturday night. Was very impressed with the size and flavor of the Chimichangas that were pork w a verde salsa. Definitely would order again! The salsa and chips were very good. The margarita was decent but seemed as though a huge difference between the top shelf and entry level drinks as far as price. We got a basic Rita on the rocks and it was decent.
