It is far better than any American/Southern/local chain fried chicken spot or any of the other Korean style chicken places, including the one nearby on Hwy 99 that gets most of the social media hype. This place's fried chicken is fried to order so it is fresh and piping hot when you receive it (takes about 17 minutes, and your wait is worth it). The flavor runs all the way through the chicken meat not just the batter, and the chicken meat is juicy NOT greasy. Also their pickled daikon and kim chi sides are the best. The front of the house lady is so sweet and nice. And don't sleep on their other offerings - their curry, teriyaki chicken and yakisoba are also delicious. read more

Good flavor but my only minor gripe is that they have a tendency to pour too much sweet sauce on their items. I keep forgetting to ask them to go light on the sauce. It is dangerous for some to have too much Chinese sweet sauce. I would recommend that you make the same request yourself when you order there to, "Go light on the sauce please.", to avoid high calorie intake from the sugar in the sauces. If you are diabetic that is a must when dining at Teriyaki and More Edmonds. You cannot just wipe off the sauce with a napkin. It is soaked into fried items like Sweet and Sour Chicken and Brocoli Beef; basically having to just eat it with lots of rice to dillute the concentration of sauce for self-protection of your cells. Then save the other half and eat it another day with lots of rice to circumvent sugar withdrawals. For sugar sensitive eaters, beware and ask them to put sauce on side or "go light on sauce". read more

Restaurant is small but clean. The lady behind the counter was very nice and helped explain the portions and options. We were a group of three adults and a toddler, and we wanted to try a few different things but ultimately went with the KFC, the BBQ Chicken, and an order of chicken fried rice. My husband wanted to try the tenders but we decided against it because it would have been too much food for us, however, the lady heard us and surprised him by throwing in two tenders with our KFC order. Very nice gesture, and the food was so good!! The chicken was crispy, but not greasy, the rice was a banger (we ate it all,) and the bbq chicken was saucy and flavorful. The juiciness, tenderness, and crispness of the fried chicken is one of a kind, oh and don't let me forget the size of each piece of chicken, they're huge.
