    Spicy Chicken Teriyaki

All the hallmarks of a great teriyaki joint. Understated interior, no frills, no gimmicks and Christian music playing on the stereo! But seriously folks, if you want solid teriyaki this place will deliver. The salad is a little hokey, coming in a small to-go container it's hard to truly distribute the dressing. But by the time you taste the spicy chicken, you won't care! I would definitely return as it checks the most important box of all for me: no sketchy pieces of chicken! Go here!

This place has various menus from teriyaki, yakisoba, gyoza, soup, sushi and many more. The price is affordable and good. The portion is huge too. During this pandemic, they provide hand sanitizer and sanitized pens to sign your receipt. My favorite one from this place is beef teriyaki. Comes with 2 scopes of rice, beef teriyaki, salad, dressing and soy sauce. It was delicious. The lady who takes order is very friendly and super nice. Her service is excellent too. She always make sure repeat the order as per what we order and our preference.

Picked up dinner for tonight at a new teriyaki place I haven't been to before. The restaurant is Teriyaki Time. I asked the restaurant if they are affiliated to the one in 125th and Lake City and she No. But anyway I had give it a try. The rating us mostly a (4) stars. So I ordered (2) large chicken and you really can't go wrong with chicken teriyaki right ? Well tge flavor us pretty good, but the chicken is either not fresh ir over cooked, cause it was too dried and chewy. The price was alright and portion are good for the price. They don't make teriyaki like they use. So overall is 2 * from 5.

    Spicy chicken, no rice?

That said, the food has always been great. We usually have Shrimp tempura Udon, along with some rolls. The rolls are large and fairly priced. We are partial to spicy tuna or eel, so the rolls we pick usually have at least one of those ingredients Very excited that they have a Shinko Maki, very simple, but not all sushi places have this. We have not tried the Nigiri or Sashimi, so I can't comment on those items.

It doesn't look like much from the outside so I was pleasantly surprised by the inside. It was quite spacious with beautiful art pieces throughout the place. A lot of wood that gave it a bar like vibe too. We were greeted upon entry and immediately sat down. They have a decent amount of sushi options available. We decided to get three rolls: The Green Dragon Roll, The Godzilla roll, and the Dragon Roll. They were all flavored nicely with sauces drizzled on top of the sushi. The only thing that maybe I didn't like so much was the Green Dragon roll having a little too much avocado on top. We didn't have to wait long to order or for the food to come. I would very much consider this spot to be a hidden gem!

We got seated and put in our first meat order. There is a time limit to eat (but as I write this I can't remember if it was 90 minutes or two hours) but that wasn't an issue because we ate a lot and were stuffed at the end. While we waited for the first round of meat, check out the salad bar, which also has japanese curry, miso soup, white rice and a bunch of sides like kimchi! Probably wise not to fill up on the salad bar but it was my first time so i wanted to try a little bit of everything! The curry was pretty good! For the meats, we tried a little bit of everything but my favorites were the finger meat and the karubi so we got multiple orders of those in future rounds. The server came by frequently to take orders from us - it was so quick and efficient! The meat was good quality and the service was great and the space is nice and clean. It was a fun experience and i would definitely go back if i felt like eating a lot of meat and getting my iron and protein levels up! It's located inside of the building with Asian Family Market so plenty of parking in the shopping plaza. Also they have a soft serve machine so you can get ice cream for dessert!

We had the angus set, the only thing I'm a little disappointed is the portion. It might seem a lot on the video or picture but a lot of them were bite size so they go by pretty fast. Enough for 2 people but definitely not more than that. But overall this was a fun experience!
