Addendum: As much as I've praised John McLane in my review above, I'm going to now praise Joe. Since I posted my review, I've had several complications re: dead rats in crazy places. Joe has responded to every distress call I've made, has been to my house more times than I care to share, and has either located and removed the dead rat or taken steps to ensure that there was no dead rat anywhere near where I suspected one might be. And Joe's handholding--i.e., allaying my concerns, walking me through next steps, and assuring me that Termike would be there for me should any further problems arise--is on par with John's. They both provided me with outstanding service, and I cannot emphasize how important this when you are enduring the stress of a rat infestation. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Termike to eliminate a termite pest problem in my balcony. Out of all the Termite companies I contacted, Mike was the most friendly and among the quickest to visit my place. Mike walked around the perimeter of my house and he did a VERY thorough inspection using his poker stick and poking every foot of wood around my home including the balcony, the eaves & fascia of my roof. We discovered several areas on my balcony that had dry rot. Additionally, Mike went into my attic and inspected it thoroughly. He spent another 30 minutes with me reviewing what he observed, and he patiently gave me his recommendations, explaining step by step how he would fix the problem, and also answering my questions. He was not pushy and he did not try to scare me into buying any of his services. He was honest and helped me to understand the situation and gave me several options. I urgently needed my termite problem fixed because I was scheduled to do a whole house paint the following week, and lucky for me Mike was able to accommodate. Mike sent his best guy Max, who is a machine! Max came out to my place the day before the scheduled work day so he could review the damages and plan out the termicide treatment and wood repair. He was knowledgeable and friendly and worked all day to get the job done. Max closely inspected the damaged areas for signs of termites such as "kickout holes", treated the wood with a special termicide foam that only licensed people can get, and he replaced the wood where it was un-patchable. It was a lot of hard work... I know because I spent a lot of time outside watching and asking questions as Max worked. All in all, I was so impressed with Termike and enjoyed working with them. The last aspect of Termike Pest Control was having our house tented after our compromised wood was repaired. The tenting went very smooth and they were very careful not to damage any of the wood work just completed. This was the first time we've had our house tented and it went like clockwork. Called these folks as I saw them tenting a house in the neighborhood. Mike came out on a Saturday, explored the house, and confirmed we had several areas that could be locally treated. On the day the work was done he came out with his colleague to ensure all bases were covered. We needed to replace some wood and paint and everything was done efficiently courteously and professionally. The house was left spotless. Great value, great work, full explanation, great folks.
