Posting an update - the appointment was rescheduled after one no show and the regional manager confirmed the new appointment and promised a better service. I take time off again to wait and waited for 2 hours again for second time no show. It's a joke. This company doesn't want your business. Cancelled the account and called Orkin. Guess what! The appointment was scheduled in less than 5 minutes and for first slot next day. Spent countless hours on Terminix customer service who have no clue about anything. He is true to his word and had helped me through the years with various issues from ants to rodents. The only reason I'm giving Terminix 2 stars instead of 1 is because they did a decent initial inspection. They arrived on time for their first inspection, did a seemingly thorough job, and let me know that we had carpet beetles in one room. They showed me the evidence. The real frustration occurred when we tried to actually get a treatment from them. I scheduled Terminix to arrive between 8 and 10am on a weekday to have them spray to get rid of the beetles. My husband took a (precious) vacation day from work, we paid to have our dog put in daycare, and at 8.5 months pregnant, I planned to stay away from the house all day to avoid exposure to pesticides. Staying away from home all day this late in the third trimester is very taxing on my body. No one showed up. My husband called the rep, Marvin, multiple times and he did not ever get a response. He also called the Terminix 800 number and they told him that an inspector would be there at 3pm. Only 5-7 hours late... Then the rep called me after 4pm, and said he would not show up at all because he had heat exhaustion. Okay, fine. But why did we have to call them multiple times just to get an update? Why did they wait until the end of the day to even attempt to give us an update? Terminix is a very large company. If one inspector cannot do the job, they should be able to find another inspector. Also, if someone HAD shown up at between 8 and 10am as scheduled, they would have been able to do the work during the cooler hours of the day. I call BS. We canceled our service with them and will be selecting a company that is less flaky, and more respectful of the customer's time. read more

I called Terminix because I had an ant problem the service technician was very nice he took care of the problem I haven't had ants around my house since, however, while I was at the doctors office a couple days ago I looked and I noticed my ring doorbell kept ringing and I found out the Terminix guy was there when I came home there was an invoice attached to my door. We have been using Terminix for a long time. Daniel Morris #58450 had disappeared for a while and we missed him. Today he came back and it was like seeing an old friend. He always takes time to explain things, compliment my dogs and give good advise on all things pest control. So glad he is back . He assured me he was here to stay this time. We get serviced regularly by Terminix for insects. Daniel Morris is always a pleasure when he comes by. He always makes sure to alert us when he arrives and reminds us to keep our Kitty inside while he sprays the perimeter. On occasion, when the weather is warmer we call to get serviced sooner than our usual every three months and we can always rely on Daniel to arrive the next day after we call. read more

Not sure if this is the right branch of Terminix. But I just want to say, what's worse than dealing with bugs is to actually have to deal with the people in Terminix. They get very defensive and not reasonable. I work in customer service myself, so I understand yes it is tough in customer service. But when your customer reports a problem, your customer representative should not start arguing with your customers with a defensive attitude. Train them better or fire those useless people. read more

I waited around kept the gate open so he can come and spray, the technician name Eddie was a no show. I called him to and later found out he will not be servicing my house because of having a different technician. I used to work here,management is average, but when theres a serious problem with a customer no one responds unless It benefited the company. We always got customer complaints, which were 70% of calls we got, we used a old system so it just messes everything up with the scheduling most of the time there was no appointments available and then we would tell customers they would get a call back from local branch to schedule service, but that's a lie no one ever calls them, they just schedule the customer without letting them know and the customers call in angry at us. It's the same cycle every Day we tell customers that they will get a call back but it's rare they ever get a call back from the branch or management when we escalate an issue. COMPANY IS A JOKE, I wouldnt want to be a customer ever, no one should sign up! read more

terrible company. Had an inspector, Don Urban come inspect for termites. We had termites but needed to work with the neighbor to fumigate (we are an attached house). We had a short window to fumigate as the neighbor was moving out for a couple days. Called Don and he said he'd get back to me shortly. Tried to get in touch with him for 3 days and he completely ignored my calls and all my txt msges. Kept trying to get in touch with someone else from Terminix but no matter what number you call, it routes to their central hotline. Was told by the customer service rep that someone from the local office would get in touch with my shortly. I waited the whole day, no call. Called them back and they said they would send an inspector out the next day between 10am - 12pm. I waited for him the next day. He was a no show. Not only did they waste my time, but they made me miss my window to find someone else to help with fumigation with my neighbor. I can only say that Terminix has no respect for their customers' time and I will never be doing any business with them now or in the future. And just look at all their 1 star reviews. They obviously do not care. read more

WOW this service is absolute and complete garbage. The last month alone this branch blatantly LIED to us on three separate occasions. 1) First and foremost, when calling for service, good luck getting an appointment any sooner than two weeks. 2) We had scheduled an "extra" treatment because the ants in our house had gotten out of control. After waiting two weeks for their "first available" appointment, they missed their time window quoted to us of 5:00-7:00PM. At 8:30 we called them, we were placed on hold for a bit, and then told "he's on his way now." Okay, cool. He never showed... We called the next day to see what was going on, they told us the guy from the day before had called out sick and he was never coming to begin with. So... who lied? The technician who was supposed to be working and got caught? Or the person on the phone that said the tech was "on his way" when he clearly wasn't??? 3) After this huge debacle, we still had ants terrorizing our household, we called three different times and we're told the branch manager will call us back. They never do. I ask for the number to the branch and I'm told they don't have a direct phone number (???). I say there's no way they simply don't have a phone number, then they say "well they do but it will just send you back here to us." You should be proud of your stellar service. 4) We FINALLY get someone on the phone (still at the 800 number, we've still never talked to our branch or a manager) and we're told the first available appointment is approximately 8 days later. Unacceptable. 5) Fast forward 8 days, our appointment was again scheduled for 5:00-7:00pm, I requested to get off early from work so I can be there. We specifically requested NUMEROUS times that we need interior and exterior service because the ant problem is so bad. At 1:00pm I get the text message "your technician is on the way and will arrive soon" - I am FURIOUS but need to overthrow the ant dictator in my home so I WALK OUT OF MY JOB to race home and meet the tech. What do I find when I get there? A ticket saying he'd already visited and "performed" an exterior treatment. I don't buy it for a second. Nevermind the fact that the line of ants going up my outside wall to the second floor is still there and has been for weeks. We cancelled our service immediately and called Ecoshield. They just left our house and said it was in the worst shape of any house they've ever seen, ant-population wise. There were multiple queen ants, ant hills everywhere, the ant trails were carrying eggs, "the works," according to our new technician. We'd paid $129/quarter and only call for "extra" services maybe 1-2 times per year, and this is how we're treated? I'm starting to doubt they even came for our quarterly visits. What kind of garbage Ponzi scheme is Terminix running and who's pocketing my cash? Ryan Houle is our technician and Robert Keef is supposedly his supervisor. I hope they enjoy getting paid to sit on their couches, drink beers and blatantly lie to absolutely everyone because they clearly don't lift a finger or do any actual work. read more

We originally hired Terminix to deal with a rat problem ($1600 for the service and year guarantee). We added pest spraying and termite service. We prepaid the other services in December ($1300), but the website double charged one of the services. I waited for our invoice to reconcile the charges and I am still waiting. Technicians would not meet scheduled dates so we began calling customer service. We have made several calls to the 800 number and 8+ calls to the regional manager and have not received an invoice for the charges or a refund after canceling the services. The local and corporate contacts are ignoring us at this point. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have our money and will not refund. read more

If you are considering pest control call Terminix but insist on getting Daniel to come out. He is so thorough and so thoughtful to his customers. He always makes sure the dogs are going to be safe and the kids are going to be safe before he sprays anything. If you aren't going to be able to keep the pets or kids away from what he is spraying for a while he will put something else down. I can't say enough good things about my Terminix service but especially their outstanding exclusion technichian, Tom Keech. An HVAC contractor reported to us that there was recent rodent activity in our crawl space. After I contacted Terminix, Tom came out to our house today to verify the rodent exclusion was still effective. We have a very tight crawl space with lots of tight squeezes due to ducting and multiple foundations. Tom didn't just poke his head in and say it was all good. He made his way through the far reaches under our house to check the entire perimeter making sure there were no entry points. This is a very dirty and difficult job on a hot day and Tom did it without complaint. After emerging from under the house, Tom took the time to explain where he saw what and even gave us helpful advice on what to look for in the future. Great workers like Tom set Terminix apart from the competition. He represents the company well and makes sure the customer is satisfied with the work performed. We use the quarterly pest control and annual rodent exclusion service contracts and couldnt be happier. read more
