There is a two top for dine in. Food is good.

I wanted Thai and this came up in the East village near our activity that day. This is really a to go place with only 2 seats at a little counter. However it's quite festive in there. Food was awesome. $50 for two included soup entree and a drink. You can also go to a park and eat nearby if the counter is taken. I highly recommend the food. If you are in the area and want Thai to go, check this place out.

Food was so amazing we forgot to take pics before diving in! Please go to Terra Thai! It's the best Thai food I've had in the city- the shop itself is so lovely with plants all along the walls and the owner is super sweet!

Pad Thai. 4/5. Reasonable but could use improvements. IG: @amei.eats

(Overall: 75% | C) - The Pad Thai definitely hits some high notes in that the chicken is tender and the flavor is authentic. However, I wish the flavor could be more aggressive to showcase the beauty of the complex developments. Another simple way to improve this dish is by serving it with crushed peanuts for better infusion of texture. Additionally, I found the atmosphere to be quite cramped since there were so many plants in the store.

The best chicken pad thai in east village (at this price). The noodles are elastic, the peanuts are plentiful, the chicken is flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even the bean sprouts and lime taste fresh. Walking into the store and I am immediately greeted with an amazing aroma. The food is piping hot and was ready in under 10 minutes. I ordered 20 minutes before close, I can only imagine how good it is earlier in the day. This is a take out place. There is not much seating (2 stools) and the shop is easy to miss, but the service is fantastic. I believe it was the owner who took my order and prepared it (his face is on the walls). My current favorite place in east village for takeout.

This place was phenomenal. It's a super cool takeout Thai spot that's hidden in the east village. To be honest I've always been hunting for good Thai spots in the EV, and none have wowed me, except this place. My chicken pad Thai was so good and I asked for it spicy and they made it spicy. The shumai was excellent too and all the workers were so kind. My only only only complaint was maybe a little bigger on the portion size for my pad Thai. But I'm just a hungry guy and love leftovers. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to try this spot you will not regret it

A cute small family owned restaurant. A small selection of thai food that did not disappoint, as I had my classic pad si ew. The price is so good at $13 for the choices of chicken or tofu, and $15 for shrimp. The noodles were actually thinner than I was used to, but I liked the difference. Definitely a filling meal and would come again if I was in the area.

Chicken Satay. Get a baguette to sop up that gravy

I'm not a huge fan of Thai but this place changed my mind. I crave their food ! I got the chicken satay dish , the braised pork and a Thai iced tea. The chicken satay is different from what Is usually served as an appetizer in other Thai restaurants. Terra Thai's is more of a meal as it's chicken sautéed then cooked in peanut sauce. It comes with pickled veggies which cuts out the richness from the peanut sauce. As suggested by them, I had a baguette and I dipped the bread into the peanut sauce bc it's sooo flavorful The braised pork dish is something I never had nor saw on any other Thai menu. It's has more of a home cooked taste which I love. The pork is SUPER tender and the accompanying rice with an egg and mustard greens makes a great home cooked meal. In fact , bc the place is so tiny and literally just a kitchen with a counter for pick up and a register it really does fell like you're visiting a little neighborhood shop in Thailand. You have to have their Thai iced tea. It's refreshing.

Really great Thai. Cutest interior. Staple spot for take out! No indoor seating. Always very fast and friendly service.

This may be one of the best thai I've ever had. Life changing. I got the basil chicken and my friend got the drunken noodles and both were incredible. So flavorful and reasonably priced! They still took our order even though we came close to closing, which was very kind. In the 10 minutes we waited for our food many people came in to pick up their takeout- which is always a good sign of a great spot! The decor inside is really cute- I loved the plants with the little people statues in them- but definitely more of a takeout spot. There is a small counter with a handful of barstools but space is limited. Overall an amazing thai joint for takeout in East Village!

But the employees were everywhere and they look to be working in unison with each other. It almost felt like a fine dining restaurant without quite the price tag. I would strongly recommend you make a reservation. The tables are not that big so you might want to think about ordering too much food. You only get 90 minutes to dine, but our server was a little generous with that time limit as there wasn't any one waiting when we left. All of the dishes we ordered was good in it's own right. The pork belly fried rice had a hint of sweetness to it. I think it might be tamarind or something. But I could totally be off based. The crispy bits of pork belly added a nice texture. It's nothing like I've ever had before. The short ribs was fantastic. Full of flavor and fall of the bones tender. The papaya salad is something that was very familiar to all of the others I've had. Very comforting. Overall, I would definitely come back here and receiving great service on top of the great tasting food was all I could have asked for.

The meat was incredibly tender and practically fell apart with a fork, while the Panang curry was creamy, rich, savory, slightly sweet, and moderately spicy without overpowering the dish. Everything was presented beautifully, and the live music added a fun, relaxed energy to the evening without making it difficult to enjoy the meal. A quick ride on the LIRR or E Train will have you enjoying some of the best Thai food NYC has to offer. For me it all started with their Shrimp Croquettes that were fried to perfection and packed with flavor, then it was the Crispy Pork Belly, and for a second, I had to ask myself, am I in the Dominican Republic?! The crunch, seasoning, and flavor in every bite let me know immediately that they understood the crispy pork belly assignment! Let's not forget the cocktails! Each drink paired beautifully with the appetizers and dishes throughout our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the entrées. Their menu ranges from specialty seafood dishes to authentic, modern Thai cuisine. As a seafood lover, I especially appreciated the generous amount of Lump Crab meat in the Southern Crab Curry. The flavor was rich, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. But the unexpected STAR of the night was the #TaroCustard! Who knew that the "everything bagel energy" could transfer so effortlessly into a dessert?! It was those crispy fried shallots that did it for me!
