I was visiting my fam in Texas. I love barbecue and Terry Black's had always received the best ratings. Now, I know why! Hands down, this was the best barbecue that I've ever had! I went for lunch on a Tuesday and avoided all the long lines. The gentleman behind the counter asked a few questions about my BBQ preferences and began slicing and preparing my amazing lunch plate! I'm sorry, that I didn't capture your name. I appreciate you and you deserved proper recognition. The BBQ was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed Brisket, Spare Ribs and Coleslaw. Everything was absolutely amazing!

After ordering from Terry Black's Barbecue on Uber Eats Saturday night, we literally had to go back in person Monday before our flight home because it was that good. The brisket was honestly the best I've had in my life. Perfect bark, insanely tender, incredible flavor without being overly salty or sauced up. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do. Even after hearing all the hype, it still exceeded expectations. The inperson experience was great too great service everyone was so nice great atmosphere, and everything tasted fresh right off the pit. If you're in Fort Worth, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

Always a fav bbq spot of ours. The brisket is always good. The beef bone is even juicier and fattier. The cream corn is my fav side dish. The Mac and cheese was very good today too. Last time is was a bit dry. Today it was perfect cheese consistency. Everyone in the group enjoyed their bbq. I just wish the pickles/onions/jalapeños could be self serve like at other bbq joints. They are quite stingy on the pickles/onions and jalapeños priced per piece. The bbq sauces are very good. I love the sweet one. It's like a honey mustard base I think.

I'm not a big BBQ fan, so that's why I gave it a four star. The mac and cheese, creamed corn, and coleslaw was super yummy. We got the brisket and pork ribs, pork ribs had good flavor. I do wish the meat was more on the hotter side (temperature). Super welcoming staff, definitely needed to go to one BBQ place while I was in Texas. Clean ambiance, the staff even grabs your plates/trash when you're done.

First time at Terry Black's, and it did not disappoint. This was our first stop upon arrival and I don't know if it was the hunger or just how good the food was, but everything was fire. There was a line, but it moved quickly, and there's plenty of seating both inside and outside. We ordered a little bit of everything to share between three people, which came out to $120+, but it was worth it. FOOD REVIEW Brisket (fatty) - 5/5 Juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavor. Beef Ribs - 4/5 Not usually my go-to, but the kids really enjoyed them. Jalapeño Sausage - 5/5 A must-try. The flavors came together perfectly--so good and it wad mid-spicy. Mac & Cheese - 4/5 Not my personal favorite, but again, the kids liked it. Cream Corn - 5/5 So good we had to get seconds. Green Beans - 5/5 Really good! Potato Salad - 5/5 Really good! Banana Pudding - 5/5 Another one we went back for, definitely worth it. Cornbread It's in the photo, but we didn't get to try it... the dog beat us to it. The staff was amazing, and even the other patrons dining in were super friendly. I'll definitely be back and next time, I'm taking a frozen brisket home with me. Thank you, Terry Black's, James, and Dakota for an amazing Texas BBQ experience.

I tried to get a bit of everything to try. The pork ribs fell right off the bone and were so tender! The jalapeño and cheddar sausage was great and the casing had a nice snap! The brisket was good, but I wish I had got more of a middle piece it was a bit too lean and dry of a cut I received. The Mac and cheese was good but not something I'd get again. The potato salad was the best side we had! Soooooo good with lots of fresh herbs!

Today was an absolute horrible experience from the time we entered the Restaurant until we walked out. We started off by ordering sides and the lady was absolutely rude. I mean disrespectful in every way. We asked if they had baked potatoes. Response was do you see baked potatoes. When we got over to order the meat, we set our tray down so we could read the meat offerings. The lady taking the order "demanded" we move our trays to the other side. Frustrated I explained we couldn't see the menu and therefore couldn't order the meats. The whole experience was handled poorly. When talking with "the Manager" he could tell we were upset by how we were treated and went in defense mode. We left immediately. Terry blacks may have good BBQ but the Fort Worth location has a major customer service problem. No smiles. No warm greetings. Not one friendly person except from the guy outside by the Grills. We drove here From Rhome Texas...good news is Hurtados is right around the corner.

My mom and I went to Terry Black's for an early dinner. It was both our first time eating there. We told the lady at the counter close to the door that this was our first time there. She came from behind the counter to explain how to order and explained the menu to us. I thought that was super nice. The restaurant was nice and clean. Plenty of seating inside as well as patio seating. The patio was actually really nice. Now let me tell you about the food! We had pork ribs 10/10, brisket 10/10, jalapeño & cheese sausage 10/10, pinto beans 10/10, potato salad 10/10, Mac & cheese 10/10, cornbread 10/10, but I put the cornbread in the bowl with the pinto beans made the two 20/10, and some tea. I thoroughly enjoyed Terry Black's barbecue. I will definitely be going back.

Hey y'all. Just wannna let you know where to forward my mail cause I ain't leavin! Man. This was far and away the best bbq I have had (aside from that spot in Pearland) in my life. The entire experience makes me wanna sing the Oompa Loompa songs as I dance in the streets with beef tallow smackin to my lips. Man. So yeah. They serve BBQ here and it's obvious that they take it rather seriously. Dude working the fire pit at the smoker nodded to me like I just got off a day long cattle run and in my defense, I do work for a consulting firm. lol! The meat is served by the pound and they have a bunch of sides too!!! I went big big with a half pound of brisket and 3/4 pound of pork ribs. Absolutely delicious and juicy and seasoned to absolute perfection!!! But also I could taste the beef flavor. True good ole cow!!!! Just divine. So yeah. I'm gonna just live here til I can't afford to eat bbq anymore.

On my quest to find the best BBQ in Dallas, I ended up here. My husband and I went with some friends and shared: - Brisket - Pork Ribs - Turkey - Beef Rib - Coleslaw - Mac & Cheese - Cream Corn - Pinto Beans - Potato Salad Starting with the meats: the beef rib was incredible. I wish it could be included in their specials, but it is worth getting on its own. I was very disappointed by the brisket. It was kind of dry. I don't think they gave us any fatty brisket and I had higher expectations. I enjoyed the turkey and pork ribs. For the sides: the cream corn was hands down my favorite followed by the coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of the Texas BBQ Velveeta Mac & Cheese, but theirs was fairly good for what it was. The potato salad was good. I didn't like the beans. My top recommendation is to get the beef rib and make sure you ask for fatty brisket.

This was my first time eating BBQ in Texas and it was good, but I think the meat could've been better. I DO like how easy it of to order at this location and the variety of sides they have. The variety is what made the meal tbh. Service was super friendly and quick! And there's plenty of seating here Indus and outdoors! The brisket was room temperature and too dry & lean for my liking. It's nice that they cut it fresh for you at the cashier, but then the meat just sits out...idk. Just want the best BBQ brisket I've had. The spicy sauce saved the brisket. Sides were good and big portions. Overall, a good place to come with friends and family, but I don't think this chain has the best BBQ.

Terry Black's Barbecue is a must try! The beef rib was massive and perfectly tender, the brisket was juicy with great bark, and the jalapeño sausage was also very good. Loved the sides and dessert options as well. Solid BBQ all around, definitely worth the visit!

A vegetarian's review of Terry Black's, and I was impressed!! My friends and I stopped by Terry Black's on a Saturday afternoon. I was expecting a long wait, but this place runs like a well oiled machine! Super fast and efficient, plus there's tons of indoor and outdoor seating! My friends tried the brisket and ribs and absolutely loved it. We tried most of the sides (Mac and Cheese, Green Beans, Coleslaw, and Creamed Corn). All of them were absolutely delicious and super filling!! If you have to pick one, the Mac and Cheese is a must try. All three barbecue sauces they offer might have been some of the best I've ever had. I hate smokey sauces and loved how these were sweeter! Can't wait to bring more friends back here!

Worth every minute of the wait. This one's climbing my top 50 list faster than a brisket disappears at a family reunion. After one failed mission to Sabar BBQ, where I showed up too late and found an empty pit (and an emptier stomach), I came back like a man on a barbecue pilgrimage. The sun was blazing, the line was growing, and I wasn't about to be left holding nothing but a napkin this time. Pitmaster Zain Shafi runs this blue trailer like a flavor command center. The smell hit me halfway through the line and had me grinning like a kid at the state fair. I made my move when it was my turn, and if you know me, you know lamb is my kryptonite. I ordered the Sichuan Lamb Ribs, then couldn't stop myself from adding brisket and Tandoori Turkey. The sides? Kachumber Salad and Daal Chawaal, because even Uncle Sean needs balance in life. Zain loaded everything up, tossed it all on top of some naan for good measure, and sent me to my table like a champion headed to the winner's circle. The first bite of lamb ribs nearly had me proposing to the pit. Spicy, tender, smoky perfection with a bark that made my heart sing. The brisket was rich and juicy, the turkey came with that tandoori kick that slapped me awake in the best way possible. The sauces just tied the whole thing together like a big barbecue hug. The yogurt mint cilantro sauce was made to cool and lift the brisket and turkey to a whole new level. The red sauce packed a punch and paired with the lamb like it was born for the job. I boxed up some leftovers for my wife, the Side Dish Queen herself, because a man who doesn't bring home naan from Sabar BBQ is a man sleeping on the couch. She confirmed what I already knew: this was next-level barbecue, the kind that earns legends and long lines. Sabar BBQ is only open on weekends, and only fools show up late. I won't make that mistake again. This was stop number 15 on my Texas Monthly Top 50 journey, leaving me with 35 more glorious BBQ pilgrimages ahead before the passport is full and my belt officially waves the white flag. If loving these lamb ribs is wrong, I don't wanna be rib-right.

No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously.
