My car was taken in because I had a defective porn. Three weeks later they have still not been able to locate the part or have just forgotten to order it. You cannot call in to get information as they don't take phone calls. The Arden service area is overworked and understaffed. Dmitry provided excellent service. I test drove a few Teslas and Dmitity was my service advisor in Rocklin. He was patient and answered all my questions without any pressure. Once I decided I was going to buy a Model Y, he helped me look on the website for discounted inventory cars in my area. It was the end of 2023 and cars were being snapped up very fast. When I finally reserved one in Vallejo, there was a minor issue with the registration as I was driving over there. If I could give O stars, I would. I wanted to buy a Tesla vehicle and the entire experience from test drive to pick up was the worst experience ever. First of all, the guy who was supposed to be selling me the car ghosted me while I was waiting to hear back for the purchase agreement. He kept telling me "it'll be on your account" or "I'll email you," or "it'll be available on your estimated pick up day." Excuses and lies. I might as well have met this guy on a dating app because like my frat boy ex, he was all excuses that had no follow through. Basically, he just ensured that he got credit for the sale and didn't follow through on any of the documents I requested. I mean don't get me wrong: the product itself is mostly unmatched in the EV world and I loveee my car. Plus the tax credits are great! But the service is giving me sketch and basic. Anyways if you do purchase a Tesla vehicle, my advice to you is to expect be ghosted by some frat boys and to do your own research and repairs. See a pick up checklist. Don't accept the vehicle before you see it and make sure everything works the way it's supposed to. Don't let some basic ass dude who doesn't drive a Tesla talk you out of a thorough inspection because he's just there for a sale and it's not under his name. read more

I first test drove a Tesla at the Rocklin location and had a great experience. I ordered a model 3 but the car was delivered to the Arden location since it was closer to my house. The sales team was the absolute worse I have ever encountered. I can honestly say that if I had come to the Arden location first, no way in hell would I buy a Tesla. While waiting for my car to be built, I stopped by the Arden location to see if I could get some all weather mats. I saw three salesmen who refused to even acknowledge me. I finally asked them a question and they were very dismissive and it felt like I was bothering them. I was confused since they had no other customers in the store and were just chitchatting. I returned to the location when my car was ready for delivery. I had the Tesla app but for some reason couldn't get into the car. I tried asking the salesman and again, they were very dismissive. It was offensive how determined the salesman was to ignore me. I've had Mercedes, BMWs, Toyotas, and Nissans in the past and have never had an experience even half as bad as this. It was so bad that when it came time to service my car, I drove all the way to Stockton just to avoid this location. read more

I just had one of the easiest and best car buying experiences of my life. For months, I've been deliberating on what kind of vehicle I want to purchase. Does anyone know if you can actually sue Tesla? They will sell you cars with dents, panel gaps, rattle sounds and other problems. The employees are dumb as dirt. When you get your car they will just collect payment and point that the car is outside. When you see problems, the employee will say take pics and they will fix it. However, they will send you to a body shop and is like 2-3 months out. If you return to Tesla there are other new cars being service and it takes weeks to get your car back. Also, they only give you uber credit. Can anyone respond if you can sue Tesla for being jerks? Mentally this must be stressful for the buyers. read more

The service is atrocious. They will give false information to you and unfortunately there is no way to contact any real person at this dealership. For one such service, I was told the car would be at the dealer for only 5 minutes, they then changed it to 2 whole days. No one will ever call back, despite being told repeatedly "not to worry you will get a call back as soon as possible". They return all their cars back to owners only after-hours, presumably so people cannot go in and complain about their terrible service. read more

I've had both a great buying experience and great service from the Arden Tesla service center. The buying experience was very low pressure, and the staff were as helpful as one could expect given how busy they've been with recent demand. The service team have completed all warranty work on-time or early, and they have been both friendly and responsive. I have had appointments delayed due to part availability, but this is outside of their control. If parts are unavailable, you would have a similar experience elsewhere. I will happily return to this location for future warranty work, and would recommend them for buying as well. read more

I used the Tesla app to order my 2022 Tesla Model Y, to insure the car, sign the paperwork, and pay for the car. The app then scheduled the pick up at the Arden dealership for me. When I was driving up to the dealership, I was worried how long I'd need to be there. Walked up to the front area and told them my name, they pointed to a car in front , said my phone was already synced to the car, and I was ready to drive off the lot. I stayed on site to inspect the car (it turned out real nice), but I literally could have arrived and drove off the lot with my new car in less than 5 minutes. That's not to say the people were not willing to discuss the car with me or show me things. I already knew how to operate it. But 5 minutes! That's insane. I dread going to dealerships but this process was just way too easy. Hopefully this is the future of car buying in terms of ease and time saving. read more

I genuinely feel the way Tesla sells is a marketing scam. They tell you that submitting an order is "ONLY" $100 (non-refundable). However, they underquote your delivery date and DO NOT disclose any possible longer waits. As a matter of fact, I was lied to. I submitted my order in July 2021 and was quoted to get delivered after 3-4 months. Boy, I was definitely misinformed. Their customer service is non-existent, there is no support call center, and their representatives have no clue about your order. As I write this, it's September 2022. 14 months later, I finally get a text message that Tesla needs a delivery confirmation. Unfortunately, I moved on. I'm going through escrow with purchasing a house. I cannot purchase any new cars. Plus, there is no number or email contact to cancel your order. I am seriously unhappy with Tesla. At one point, I was excited to purchase an EV but they definitely dropped the ball. If you've been lied to, I genuinely hope you understand that the wait is much longer than they'll quote you for. Again, I waited 14 months for a "delivery confirmation." Yet, they won't respond to any of my calls or emails about my order. read more

We went to drop off our Tesla for service and everyone inside acted like it was their first day and they did not know what was going on. When I finally located someone who worked in service he stared at me blankly as if he had never taken a vehicle in for service. I let him know that I did not have an appointment I needed to drop off the vehicle because I was afraid it would not start the next time I would try. He said OK just leave it and we will get to it. I asked him "shit and I tell you what's going on with it or give you a sort of a description"? He responded by turning his laptop to me and asking me to type up what my concerns were. I thought it was a little bit odd that I would be doing his job for him on his computer but was more than happy to help. Two weeks went by for them to call and tell us that we needed the AC compressor replaced. That's not even the reason why we brought the car in. They told us that the 12 V battery that we had just purchased from them three days prior to bringing the car and was also bad. This is a scary place and I think that most of the people there have no idea what they are doing. My employee spent 3 + hours there trying to pick up the car because they could not find the car or the keys. When we asked for the supervisor she had in her office for over an hour. I feel sorry for all the Tesla owners out there will have to come to this location. Hopefully some independent service centers open up that will provide the quality service these cars deserve. read more

The 5 star is for the service center staff. Ruina kept me up to date on the status of my car the entire time while it was in service. People complain that they might not get a loaner for a same day service.... They give you $300 Uber credit, what more do you need for one day around town? The company is growing 70% a year, and this is part of the growing pain. If you can't live with that, go buy a different car that doesn't have Netflix, internet, autopilot, sentry mode...etc. But if you want a Tesla...guess what, so does everyone else. The wait list is literally 7 months out. That's not the staffs fault, so be kind to them, that are doing everything they can to keep up with growing demand. Shout out to Lisa as well, she's awesome. I'm not sure that the new Sacramento Tesla dealership is actually responsible for the actions that prompted this review. However, any potential Tesla customer in Sacramento will likely encounter the same problems that I experienced: In April '22 I put down a $250 deposit for a Tesla 3 and was advised that delivery would likely occur in the October-December '22 timeframe. At the end of August I received notice that my VIN was assigned and that my order would be cancelled if I did not accept delivery at the Sacramento dealership within a week. I explained that I spend my summers in Maine and would not be in Sacramento to accept delivery until October. Despite my protests, Tesla cancelled the order and refused to return my deposit. For potential purchasers of Teslas, the implication is that if you happen to be unable to accept delivery within a week or so of random notification of car availabilty, you are out $250 and, if you still want a Tesla, back in a 6 month queue. read more

Took our Tesla here for an out of warranty repair well over $1000. They said it would take four days but refused any type of loaner to use. Most luxury dealers would ensure you had a loaner if they were going to keep your car for four days. Picked it up after repair and they hadn't even washed the outside. Most dealers wash your car even if you're getting an oil change, let alone a bunch of expensive work being done. Definitely not the level of customer service one would expect from a luxury brand. read more

I was told I could edit the order on the website, but there is no "edit" option on the order page. Jack is out a couple of days (he still responded to a text and even called my wife, but everyone needs time off from work). You should try by all means to not take your car here. The jerks replaced my windshield and broke our roof glass and blamed it on another rock. They kept the blue tape on there to keep the windshield in place after installation and literally when we took the tape off a day later, there was a crack on the roof glass. We sent them a message and they said it's their fault and they will do everything for free. Of course two weeks later the day before the appt, they sent us an invoice for the price before the work. We didn't sign and hooked it in. The staff and the f'g service manager took a pen and jabbed the cracked and caused another line to the crack. They then blamed it on another rock and refused to replace it for free. We escalate the situation and of course the complaint went to the same service manager, so he closed complaint without even calling or discussing with us when they did they'll call back in 24-48 hours after the complaint is open. I had to call into the service center multiple times to get a status and further escalations. These service centers put a bad name to this luxury car brands. I appreciate Tesla for their technology but with services like this, I'm not sure if I care to get another one of their cars. read more

#1 I don't write reviews, but the service at Tesla Sac is awful. They have zero communication skills. It took 2 weeks to complete the diagnostic and repair. We were told "taking longer than expected" over and over, but we had no idea why. We asked to speak to the service manager and nobody every called us. You can only communicate via app chat. Even this millennial knows that sometimes you just have to pick up the damn phone. When it was ready and I paid via app, it took me 30 minutes to pick up the car because the guy at the desk kept IM'ing some person to bringing it up. He finally went and got it himself after I said I was going to walk down the side of the building and get it myself. Then, when I finally saw it, there was bird crap on it which ruined the finish on the wrap. At least Lexus washes your car for you. Tesla owners are better off driving further to another service location and trying your luck there. We love our Teslas, but the lack of customer service compared to other luxury brands will make me think twice the next time we purchase a new vehicle. read more

Chance, Sr. Operations advisor is a great guy, pays attention to detail and made my Tesla 3 delivery a positive experience. Chance called the night before my pick up date to answer any questions I had and did not rush me through the phone call. Was patient and helped me purchase a Tesla wall charger as well. Day of pick up Chance greeted me and assigned a technician to help with my car set up. As busy as Chance was multi tasking, he greeted customers and helped staff members with any concerns.
