Lila answered, and we immediately connected over how highly we both think of Julio. While he's now at a location that's a bit too far for us, Lila encouraged me to bring the car in so they could take a look at an issue we'd been experiencing. Side note: our home service center is closed on weekends, whereas this location is not. I drove over right away, and when I arrived, Amanda was like a warm ray of sunshine. She immediately jumped in to help, got me checked in quickly, and kept me updated throughout the process. She was genuinely kind, welcoming, and incredibly sweet. Although there were a few service hiccups along the way, Lila stayed in direct communication with the mechanics and worked quickly to resolve everything. My previous post was due to Tesla warranty policy which is not an accurate reflection of the staff working here or The dealership itself. They have gone above and beyond for us. Even switching out a loaner vehicle and delivering it directly to our home. Staff is great. Bought our Model Y here and love everything about it. However, I still dont agree with the Tesla Windshield Warranty as a whole for something they advertise without warning to the consumer. I shouldn't have to hold a flashlight and stand at an angle to inspect my windshield for existing windshield damage smaller than the end of ballpoint pen. There should be a warning to the consumer to inspect windshield prior to using Defrost Feature in the snow. Its an easy update. I have read several forums and seen Tesla owners end up in a similar situation for using a feature widely advertised to the consumer without warning. read more

I've never had such a frustrating experience getting my car serviced especially from a brand like Tesla. I scheduled an appointment through the app for May 5th at 8:30 AM at the Arden location to address a windshield fogging issue and a routine tire alignment that the app recommended. I figured I'd knock out both at once. Despite disliking the traffic, I chose Arden since it's closer to home, but I regret that decision entirely. From the start, it felt impersonal. I dropped off my vehicle with no chance to speak directly to a technician, which seems to be the Tesla standard, but it's frustrating. The app showed an estimated completion time of 5 PM, when the service center closes. No Uber or Lyft assistance is offered, which is already a huge inconvenience. I checked the app repeatedly and saw they didn't even start on my car until 2 PM. At 4 PM, it still showed "in progress," so I paid $80 in roundtrip Lyft rides to come back, only to walk into a waiting area swarming with flies. Seriously? It was dirty and felt completely unsanitary. By 5:15 PM, my car still wasn't ready. I waited for someone to check on it, and at 6 PM, a service technician finally approached me asking about my windshield issue just to say they couldn't see the fogging and wanted to keep the car overnight. He even admitted that no one ever called me and there was no communication left in the app. So I waited all day, paid out of pocket for transportation, and got absolutely zero resolution on the issue I came in for? They didn't finish processing my car until 6:22 PM. I leave, only to realize they never returned my keycard. I go back in, and they casually tell me, "Oh, we leave it in the frunk." Why would that not be communicated? The entire experience was disorganized, impersonal, and disappointing. I've never had such poor service with any of my vehicles, ever. Tesla doesn't even offer a complimentary wash or vacuum? I don't know if it's just this location, but I won't be coming back to Arden. I was having issues with my car and Juan was a major help. While ordinarily there isn't too much dealer to customer interaction involved with Tesla service, Juan was able to walk me through an explanation of the diagnostics done and what issue was likely solved. It helped that Juan had institutional knowledge about the issues with the early Model 3s and could explain that I might be experiencing a related issue. The only issue from keeping this a five star review is that I had to book my appointment weeks in advance. Fortunately, I didn't need to use my car for the week or two, but if I did, this would've been a problem. We need another service center in the area, so this one doesn't become so impacted! Just an fyi for others looking to get their service done, the waiting area is pretty small. I want to say it's about five chairs with a small children's play area. There's a Keurig and some small pretzels for free. There's also a machine for refilling water. There's no desks and limited outlets, so if you're trying to get some work done you're probably better off going across the street to the bakery/cafe. They have plenty of seating, breakfast and lunch options, indoor and outdoor while you wait for your service to be done. read more

Vroom, vroom, vroom... goes the Tesla. Does anyone actually ever enjoy car shopping?? it's a hassle, it's time consuming, and if you've done it in the past, you know that you have questions your own sanity during the entire process. Test driving the Tesla was an interesting experience. I arrived for my scheduled appointment, checked in, and was given a cell phone to start my car. No instructions, no help, and no one accompanied me from my drive about town. Truly an interesting start to test driving. Tesla's business platform in years past has always been not to have a show room and everything was ordered online. With the boom in the market for them, they now have locations available for test driving. They've also done this to comply with the strict California laws. I personally for one greatly appreciate that . I can't fathom purchasing a vehicle online without the scratch and sniff test. OK, no scratches just the ability to feel how comfortable it is on the road etc. If you have a Tesla, and you love it, congratulations. If you don't, and you're considering purchasing one, I would encourage you to shop the EV market more thoroughly. When I arrived back from my test drive, a pseudo- salesman came over to collect the phone, and proceeded to ask me which model I wanted to buy. The very first question I asked, was the difference between the highest and model that I was looking at, versus the lowest and model and the delivery schedule. he summed it up nicely in two sentences. All the cars are the same. The difference in the vehicles really has to do with the added internal amenities, outside of the gulled wing doors on the model that I was looking at. Basically, it's the same car with different clothes on. They all drive the same, and they are all built the same. If you're looking for a vehicle, you know the drill. Shop the market. I personally did not find the level of assistance in the show room to be helpful on any level. In fact, just some extent, I found the few people that I interacted with to be rather offputting and perhaps even rude. Checking in to test drive the car , there's no one to greet you and show you exactly where you need to go. Instead people point fingers and push you off on someone else, who in turn, does the same thing. They truly don't care if you want to purchase a vehicle or not. Perhaps it's because they have flooded the market and sales don't matter. The driveway to the show room is difficult to get into since they're located on Arden Way, and traffic is forever present on that street at all times of the day and night. The car is not complicated to drive, but you do need to be tech savvy to some extent. If you are not adaptable, this really is not the car for you. read more

This location has such nice and friendly staff! We on a demo drive for the New Model Y, ( im looking for a new vehicle) it went amazing. Tesla advisor let me know the breakdown of everything, the different types of models and features as well as customization. My only concern is that parking was difficult because they don't really have a lot of parking for guest/ visitors so be sure to be on the lookout as soon as a spot is available. Dropped the car off, and within 15 minutes I get a call from the so-called service writer--completely inept doesn't even begin to describe her. She informs me they don't have the parts to fix my car. The poor reviews of this Service Center made me concerned, but my story was anything but... I live in Southern California. I drove my 2019 Model S to the Sacramento area on 23Dec to visit some loved ones. I had no problems on the trip, using Tesla Superchargers several times. On 24Dec, I experienced a bunch of random errors in my vehicle. I thought it might be the 12V battery (since I had never replaced it after 5+ years), so I pulled over and attempted to do so. After replacing it, most of the errors and all of the erratic behavior went away, but 3 errors remained, and the vehicle would not drive. In a short amount of time, the *new* 12V battery also died. So, on Christmas Eve, I had my vehicle towed to the Sacramento Tesla Service Center, knowing full well nobody would be available to look at it until the morning of the 26th. I called the Service Center first thing in the morning on the 26th, since they weren't expecting my vehicle to be in their parking lot. I told them my story, and they said they were doing morning inventory/check-in and would get back to me once they tracked my vehicle. Around noon, the service advisor contacted me to inform me they found my vehicle and diagnosed it, determining that the main battery pack had died and needed to be replaced. They informed me they would try to get a new pack, but it looked like it might not be until 01Jan that they could get one delivered. I spoke to my service advisor the next day (27Dec), and they informed me that they got a replacement battery pack that afternoon. On 28Dec (a Saturday), they completed the replacement and I was able to take my vehicle home that day. So, to summarize, I brought an unscheduled dead Tesla to this Service Center the day after Christmas, and within 3 calendar days, I was able to drive it away after a major battery replacement. Every step of the way, the staff exceeded my expectations on timelines, and communication along the way was regular and transparent. The main service advisor I had was Juan. Oh, and on the 26th, they offered to give me a loaner vehicle. I showed up to get it...and they gave me a new (2024) Model S Plaid as a loaner. Yet another example of going above and beyond. read more

A few little things about our new Tesla bugged us. I schedule an appointment & our mobile service rep Sebastian ended up stopped by 2 days later. 100% the best mobile service rep we've met, he was quick to explain why we had these small issues with our window not rolling up & why at times our Tesla bluetooth key took a few minutes. He was very patient with all my questions and managed to replace our window regulator while answering all our questions. He showed us how to reprogram the window regulator in case we ever have this issue again. Super professional and was quick, great multitasker also. Service like this makes me love Tesla. We bought our Tesla the end of April and still dealing with our car not being properly registered and zero communication when we've been following up consistently for updates. No response from them and being asked to sign more paperwork for registration issues when we bought this 4 months ago and no one can explain to me why. I came in for a small fix (10 min max) with an appointment first thing in the morning. but upon arrival I was told by "Maureen," the inept service advisor, it would be done by 5pm.. 7 hours for 10 min repair? Maureen, who has no business in any customer service job, was of no help at all. She doesn't listen to her customers. I tried to explain that I cannot wait 8 hours for a 10min job, but she was no help at all. She Is too busy playing with her personal phone to actually do anything... I ended up going into the service area on my own, found a mechanic only to discover my car wasn't even in their garage.. after more than an hour, my car was just sitting in the back parking lot.. I guess I made an appointment to park my car in their lot. I got in my car and left. I made another appointment online and now mobile service will take care of it... great, now I can avoid this place and especially Maureen, who really should be fired. The car buying experience in 2022 is something like no other from past years of salesmanship. You won't have sales people following you around a lot with hundreds of shiny new cars hungry for your business. There are no longer bargains to be had. No longer can you haggle down the MSRP of a vehicle. In 2023 most dealerships will actually have a huge markup significantly above MSRP ! At Tesla , be ready to pay a premium for the privilege to wait several months for your car, have the delivery dates changed last minute numerous times , and then with less then 24 hours notice rush to get your financing, cash , or lease ready to go , so that you can finally pick up your brand new awesome 80k tree sap covered , paint chipped , misaligned door smart car ! This particular Tesla dealership/ maintenance center is on the smaller side. The parking lot is tight ! There was a lot of action when we were there , multiple people coming in to pick up vehicles, drop of vehicles , trucks dropping off loads of new vehicles, trucks dropping off office supplies and cup o noodles, and then a taco trunk came in the lot and set up for lunch service . People were double parked and blocking all sorts of driveways . It was nerve wracking watching all the cars navigate the sardine packed lot. The service overall is fairly average so far . I feel very ho-hum about it. Our Tesla is now home and cleaned up after a fresh wash and we like it enough to keep it , so that's good ! read more

This has to be one of the worst car purchasing experiences I've ever had. After spending more than $150,000 for a car, you would think the customer service is at least a little decent but instead they make you feel dumb and worthless. I came in to pick up my model x, Jack was the one that helped me. He was so arrogant and rude. I had some issue with the Tesla loan processing and he blamed me for making the wrong decisions on the application. He did not try to help me find a solution and just simply told me "Well, I don't know what to tell ya, so what do you want to do?" Then letting me know that the King's coach came in wanting the same exact car, so pretty much if I don't get it, he will be next in line for it. I decided to go through a third party lender, came back the next day to pick up the car. He again was the one that helped me! He spent 2 minutes to show me how to use the car. I suggested I want to do a walk through before I drive out the lot, he brushed me off and said "you get to have 100 miles on the car if you find anything, just take a picture and send in a service request." First thing I did was to take my car to the shop to get clear coat wrap to find out there was a dent in the back! Call them back, they suggested I do a service request like it's nothing! Seriously? Something like this happened on a brand new car, no apologies or let me take care of that for you!!? This whole experience made me regret even purchasing the car. From check-in to check-out, I had a horrible experience at Tesla in Sacramento. The rudeness, unprofessionalism and the quality of work to say the least was messy. This was the original place where I purchased my first Tesla, and also referred a family member. It's sad to see that they can treat you that way after being a loyal customer. From the moment I checked -in the advisor had an attitude and seemed very overwhelmed. A worker came up to him and he stated " I've been slammed since I came in and I don't know if that car has been pulled". You are never greeted, or even acknowledged when you walk in that lobby. Secondly, the advisor tried blaming me about one of the many issues I've been having with my vehicle I just purchased. I was blown away by that and truly did not appreciate it. I also kindly asked about a loaner vehicle. I mentioned that I lived far and his response was " everyone else also lives far, and our cars are limited and I don't think I have one". I was also advised that he was going on vacation so he would not be available, but someone would be reaching out to me. No one ever did after multiple attempts made by me. When I picked up my vehicle, I was shocked to see the inside full of dirt and some sticky stuff with dirt on my steering wheel. I also had a scratch on my door. It takes more energy to be negative than to be kind. You all have to remember that we don't wan to be there no more than you do. If you don't like your job, find a new one. Good luck getting through the labyrinth of the automated phone system. On my third try I got an actual person, who seemed distracted and bothered that someone called their place of work. I asked to be transferred to service and he said, "Yeah, no problem." He started punching numbers on the keypad and seemed unfamiliar with how to transfer a call. Then he gave up trying and hung up on me. I called back and have been holding for 30 minutes, trying to reach someone. Why am I still holding? Sunk cost fallacy I suppose. read more

I made an appointment online to bring my 2024 Model X into the service center to have the falcon wing door repaired. The appointment was for Thursday and the app gave me an approximate finish time for that evening. I heard nothing from them on Thursday or Friday. When I looked at my car's location, it was parked in the back lot. I sent a message through the car app and also called the phone number for Tesla (the phone number is worthless, it is just a recording that plays in a loop asking you to press the extension you are trying to reach). Finally on Saturday I just drove over to the sale's room and asked if I could get the number of the service center so I could call them directly on Monday. An associate went into an office and came back with a phone number written on a post it note, he told me I had to take a picture of it, because he had to put it back. I called the number when I got home and it was someone's private phone number. Long story, but it was finally pulled into the service bay and repaired in a very short time on Tuesday morning. The fact that a door strut had to be replaced after only having the car a few months wasn't good in the first place, dealing with the service center made it worse. read more

Where do I begin with my laundry list of complaints for the service at this Tesla dealership. Upon picking up our car, we immediately spotted a scratch on the A pillar which is not the greatest impression for a $60000 car but alas we submitted a service request and they assured us it would be fixed without payment. Later on I noticed that the trunk wasn't flush on one side and was slightly more recessed than the other side as well as the glove box and decided to issue a service request for those two things as well. Fast forward to the date of the servicing a month later, I found myself parked behind a line of seemingly "new" Tesla's back to the service center with some defect or another. Once I get in line a service advisor rushes to check me in and writes on the car itself marking where fixes needed to be applied. After I returned, I noticed that the original issue with the scratch hasn't even been fixed. Apparently they would've never been able to fix the issue as it was a scratch under the clear coat and must've occurred during manufacturing. In fact none of the issues were fixed at all with the trunk now not being able to close fully because of the idiocy of the service people they managed to make the trunk more uneven. Using their brains the size of a pea, they decided to disassemble the glove box before referencing another Tesla car and ultimately concluding the glove box is fine. I even found a chip of paint from my own car in the back seat. They didn't even have the common decency to clean the markings they made to the rear of the car. You know your service people are complete buffoons and employees udder trash when your dealership can't even get more stars than a McDonald's. If I could give them negative stars I would. After this experience, I would highly tell anyone to reconsider buying a Tesla because of their service. read more
