This place was delicious! I saw that it was hyped online so I was expecting it to be busy and or over hyped. I must say after reading the reviews I'm a little glad I went first then read them I would have been discouraged. The wait was about 25 minutes for my party of three one being a toddler. We waited and when we were seated we realized they had plenty of tables available which was odd. We did notice that the staff was very limited and the kitchen was tiny so we figured that was the reason. They also have a hiring sign at front so that makes sense. The wait for the food was a bit but again tiny kitchen so we were ok with it. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The food was spectacular. I was hoping I didn't like it much because it is a bit of a drive for me but no I loved it. I got the birriaquiles and my mom got the special of flautas de pollo. The menu isn't huge and doesn't have a big variety it's pretty much the same thing with different toppings. I must say even though it's limited it is done very well everything was seasoned perfectly. I feel bad for those who had a bad experience but I hope they give it another try because to me it was worth it for sure. I hope they get extra help soon to accommodate more clients. read more

Me and my husband wanted to get to know the hype of this place after watching so many videos on TikTok. We arrived at the place at 11:47, lady in the front checked me in and told me that they had a 1hr 15 min wait, we taught that was a little too much but we decided to give it a try and wait. we saw that they have some empty tables outside but didn't offer any of those to us. After waiting in our vehicle I received the text message from the front desk saying that "they were ready for us" at 12:45 so we went inside and the girl in the front gave us the menus and told us to order and pay before giving us a table. We went ahead and ordered birriaquiles and a table number was assigned to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once sat down I noticed they have plenty of empty tables for such a long wait, but excited to try this place out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, we started to get impatient after waiting 30 min of not having our food ready, my husband went to the front to ask for our food since we ordered something simple that shouldn't take that long to make (the sauce and chilaquiles chips were already made as well as beans and birria). Lady in the front said that every plate its prepared from scratch and mention that they have a very small kitchen and most of the orders were big. Anyways, we got our food after another 45 min and spend another 20 min eating before leaving the restaurant. Once we entered the restaurant we are told that we have to order at the main counter and are shoved the menus to our faces. With people waiting behind us ready to order as well we are rushed to place an order. (KEEP IN MIND HALF THE MENU WAS SOLD OUT) And not being able to thoroughly read all the options. After we pay , we are still waiting to get seated and finally an employee there ask us if we would like to be seated,out side or inside? We say outside Then the manager comes and says that we can't sit outside because there's other people waiting to be seated outside as well! (like we haven't been waiting also for 1:30hr) Restaurant inside is TINY! Literally 3 tables that seat 2 people on each side. So now we are arms length from this couple and able to hear EVERYTHING they're talking about. The FOOD was MEDIOCRE. It's nothing out of the ordinary just a nice presentation. Food was good but was served cold, nothing worse for me than cold sunny side up eggs; the Chilaquiles were tasty. Also there is no salsa, or condiments on table, and while the dishes are quaint, they give you plastic utensils. Seating is very limited inside, so most people sit out in the covered patio. Today was cool but I wonder how it will be in the summer heat or in February. Our waitress never came back to see how our food was or we needed more drink. If you're going for the chilaquiles you're doing yourself right! Wife and I ordered the green chilaquiles and they are some of the best chilaquiles I've had anywhere in the area. If you're scared they may be too spicy they are not and have amazing flavor. The rest of the items on the dish were great and beans were delicious as well. DO NOT waste your time! It's 'zero stars for me. Hubby and I came all the way from Houston for his bday weekend. TikTok reviews looked and sounded great however, we waited 2 hours to get seated and the place is real small. Once you get a notification via text to get seated, you then place your order and pay for your food at the front. You then get seated at your table and wait another hour to receive your food. We ordered the chilaquiles with a soda and unfortunately by the time we got our food it was cold. Also, They do not provide complementary chips or salsa. Thankfully we ordered French fries. Oh and the menudo does not come with hominy! You can clearly tell this place is cutting corners left and right. They have one hostess and one person working the register that also clean tables and deliver your food. The owner really needs to rethink this concept. Never coming back to this spot. read more

What an excellent find! Found this special Mexican restaurant in a storefront on Race street in Fort Worth. There are several small shops and restaurants on the street that create a nice vibe. The food was great but the sitting is horrible and then on top of it we get kicked out cause "sorry there is a wait and we are a small place" we couldn't even enjoy drinking our coffee cause we had to leave already per the waitress. But it was ok for them to take 30 min for our food to arrive but a sin for us to be social . I thought that was rude never in my life had I got kicked out of a restaurant like that not even the top 5 star restaurants kick you out like that . So if you are trying to have a relaxed and social time this is not the place you have to eat and leave cause they are keeping track of time . Came on a Sunday after church hoping to have found another good new Mexican restaurant to add to the list. The long wait was encouraging and the estimate (1 hr) turned out to be pretty accurate. Upon being seated, we were told that about half the menu was unavailable and that wait staff was not available and that we'd have to order at the counter instead. Complimentary unlimited chips and salsa is pretty standard around here, but not at this place. At least the service wasn't rude. No one at our table was happy with their food quality. The refried beans tasted horrible and were very watery. Of all the things to mess up on, I wouldn't have expected it to be the beans. Easily the worst refried beans any of us had ever had. The rice was pretty standard. The fajita beef had decent flavor, but the portion size was one of the smallest I've seen. Normally, fajita meat and veggies are served on a hot cast iron skillet to keep everything warm and a separate plate for rice, beans, guac, sour cream, cheese, etc. and then tortillas separate from that. No skillet, cheese, or sour cream and it was just a dinner plate with some meat, veggies, rice, beans, and a scoop of guac. Rarely do I leave a Mexican restaurant hungry like that and it's not like the prices were cheap. $4.25 for a Mexican Coke. To top it off, it took forever to get our food. The first person got her food after about 35 minutes of waiting. Then another plate came about 5 mins later. Then another plate came out about 5 mins after that and they completely forgot my meal and I had to wait another 10 mins or so after that. Overall, just a terrible experience and we definitely won't be returning. There are plenty of great Mexican places here in DFW, but this certainly isn't one of them. read more

Zero stars! Don't waste your time or money. Robbery of $85 for 4 terrible plates of small portions. Worst Mexican food and experience in all of the metroplex. 1 hr to get seated. 15 min in the order at the counter line because there are no waiters. 45 min to get food and it all arrived at different times for our table. Half the menu was unavailable. We were told they were out of Horchata because they didn't have water!? Refried beans were inedible. Watery and had burned beans in them. Fajitas were rubbery, flavorless and dry. Asked for extra tortillas for our table and was told there's an extra charge for that too. Don't expect complimentary chips and salsa because there's none to be found nor are they for purchase on the menu. Chilaquiales were 2/10, bold of the to even call them that. They make you pay upfront and asked for a tip; not sure what the tip is for as it's counter service. So disappointing since it has lots of potential with location and ambiance. So many other fabulous authentic Mexican places this place won't be in business long. Spend your money elsewhere. read more
