Not a basket of fries!!!!
Troy K.

I have always loved Texadelphia, but it seems like every time I go to this new location there is a problem. This time I paid a $7 upcharge for a basket of fries and this is what I get? That sure looks like a side of fries to me.

This is the "regular size" sandwich which makes me wonder what size the mini is now.

It's been a while since I've been here, but I'm pretty sure I'll be my last time (either by my choice or the closure of the place). The portions are definitely smaller and they charge for a side even if you just want chips. The food itself was okay but not memorable. I was also surprised that this is now a full service restaurant. it did take a while from my waiter to greet me and bring me a menu. Although once he did, he did a good job. Still I'm not interested in paying a tip for a place that should easily be counter service.

Inside: It was my 1st time coming last night and the place looked so cool! They had interesting wall paintings that were colorful and bright. Food: I ordered the Founders Favorite and the Hickory. The sandwiches were both good and their waffle fries tastes like Jack in the Box curly fries! I also tried their chip & queso but the tortilla chips were stale and the queso tasted like mac & cheese. Final thoughts: I will definitely come here again and try other things on the menu. Their food is pretty good.

This is my first time to try the new location at 725 N Central Expressway and I love it!! The inside decor is so fresh and colorful and it just feels happy to be here! I was warmly greeted by Suzet and she was so welcoming and helpful! I placed my To Go order and then checked out the colorful and fun atmosphere while I waited for my order. There is so much to look at and take in! I'll probably notice something new every time I go here. There is even a cute outdoor eating area! I have never seen such a fun and useful plastic cutlery dispenser! There is a cool table top that has beer caps encased in clear epoxy surface! TV's to watch, fun artwork everywhere and I look forward to when I'm dining in again. The dining area was clean as could be. Evi called out my name and my food was ready lickety-split! When I got home, everything was prepared perfectly, just as I ordered! I love their thin chips that are salted just right. They go perfectly with salsa and I usually order their queso, which is so good too! You can customize your cheesesteak sandwiches so they are just how you like them. You can get a loyalty card that you collect reward points that can be redeemed once you receive a certain amount. Texadelphia is conveniently located on the southbound service road of US 75, between Belt Line and Spring Valley. Check out this bright and cheery location and enjoy some delicious food!

Today I witnessed the Holy Grail of NO-NOs. A young lady handle money, handled her personal cell phone, handled her personal food and handled a customer's food. I think I've said enough.

I was excited to try this place out because it was my first time trying a philly cheese steak, but I was a little disappointed whenever I got my food. I thought the meat was a little bland, and the sandwich didn't stand out to me. Maybe that's just because I didn't like the cheese whiz, because my other friends enjoyed their sandwiches. There were very little fries the came with my order, and I wish they gave me more. My meal came out to around $18 and personally, I probably wouldn't come back here again, maybe just because I don't enjoy philly cheese steaks. The service was decently fast, and the staff was kind. Overall, I think this place isn't bad by any means, buts it's nothing special.

The staff is SO friendly! The food came out fresh, hot, and delicious. I was having a rough day and this was the highlight (as food usually is). This was my first time at texadelphia and there is one closer to me, but when I go again I will go back to this location because the experience was good.

Hello Lindas, I went to get a South Philly Steak sandwich and I was excited because I had been craving this sandwich. They were busy ,but super polite and friendly which we love! I got back to my office ready to put in work on my sandwich, but there wasn't any cheese on my sandwich. Lindas, let me tell you how I had to pick up my face because I was ready!! Luckily, the restaurant was close enough for me to go back and get it fixed. I went back to the restaurant and they were ready to help me. I explained what happened and they remembered my name and fixed my order promptly. The Manager and young lady working the register were a dynamic duo!!! Listen Linda's they got me right together and my lunch was saved The food is good and the customer service is top notch!

Was disappointed... The bread seemed old. Totally didn't live up to the hype. Unfortunately, I probably won't return.

I rarely leave reviews , in fact, this may be my first one, but this experience was so negative…read morethat I feel compelled to share it. I ordered two sandwiches through the DoorDash app for pickup. The app clearly stated that the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad, which is why I chose that option instead of ordering a different special. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait in line before reaching the cashier. When I finally got to the counter, she handed me my sandwiches and then told me that I had ordered chips and potato salad but had not paid for them. I calmly explained that the app showed those items as included with the sandwich. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she needed to call the owner. She then had me step aside while she helped three other customers, leaving me waiting awkwardly off to the side. When the owner finally called her back, she spoke to him loudly (almost argumentatively) about me being there and "claiming" the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad. It was embarrassing because other customers could clearly hear what was happening. Ultimately, I was told the owner said the sandwiches did not come with those sides. At that point, I just took my sandwiches and left. The entire situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. If there was a mix-up with the app, that isn't the customer's fault. Good customer service would have been to honor what was displayed in the app and clarify the issue internally afterward. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

Fortunately, if you're not dining in, ordering from the to-go line is very quick, and there's even a comfy seating area in the front where you can enjoy your food and beverages. In addition to a double shot espresso I ordered, I also got a broccoli mac and cheese croissant. The croissant was expensive ($7.50), but it's hearty enough to be a meal. I wasn't offered an option to toast up the pastry, but I didn't particularly mind the coldness of the mac and cheese component of the pastry. The croissant surrounding the filling was flakey with nicely laminated layers. Meanwhile, the filling was satisfyingly salty and rich. Although the pastry was tasty, it's probably something I would only try once -- rather than something I would get regularly, due to how heavy the pastry ate. Overall, if you're looking for skillfully prepared, creative pastries, La Casita Bakeshop definitely fits the bill.

The one thing that freaked me out was I did see a bad bug in the place and notified the cashier. They were able to squash it but it did ruin my appetite a bit. I know these things happen but I hope that it isn't a bigger problem. My friend to go'd a delicious cake that was seasonal and it was beautiful and delicious. She got another dessert that was a bit heavy for our liking that was also seasonal but the flavors were still good.

Been craving for Portos cheese rolls & potato balls in So. Cal.So happy to have found this place…read more I purchased to go a few items to try. Cheese rolls, guava cheese rolls, coconut pastry and potato balls with ground beef . Everything was yummy ! The guava cheese is also good. Similar to the cheese roll but with guava jam and no sugar on top. The coconut pastry, i did not get to try. My husband says it is also good. The potato balls has Ground meat like picadillo filling. It was so good. Even the next day, the coating for the balls was still crunchy after I heated it up. The star for me was the cheese roll. Puff pastry with cream cheese filling. So good with coffee! We will definitely go back and try their sandwiches and the flan.

I have found one truly…read morespectacular one (International Bakery and Cuban Dulceria in Carrollton) and plenty of just okay versions. This place absolutely ranks near the top, and honestly brings more to the table than I expected. The Cuban itself is fantastic. Perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and everything you want when that craving hits. But what really sets it apart is the vinegar dip it comes with. I was not prepared for how good that would be. It completely elevates the sandwich and had me going back for one more dip every single bite. And then there are the plantain strips. Freshly fried, hot, crisp, and just on another level. I do not think I have ever had plantain chips like this before. Usually it is the bagged kind, which are fine, but these are something else entirely. Honestly, they are worth the trip all on their own. Do not even think about leaving without trying the pastries. I happened to get a warm cream cheese one that I cannot stop thinking about. It was one of those bites where you immediately regret not ordering more. To top it all off, the woman running the place is as kind as can be and genuinely helps guide you through the menu like you are a regular, even on your first visit. I will absolutely be back, especially because I need to try their Cuban take on a burger. If it is anything like the rest of the menu, I already know it is going to be incredible.
