My first time visiting here was for a retirement party for one of my co-workers. Not having heard of this place, I didn't know what to expect. We had a private room secured for a party of about 30. Impressed by the appearance of the "salad" bar, I went over and loaded my plate with everything, wanting to try it all. Everything tasted great, but I hadn't gotten halfway through my plate before people started bringing meat out to me. Brazilian Sausage... ...Oh My GOD, was it delicious!!! I thought I was sampling food before I was going to decide what I wanted. You all know what was going on. No one told me that it was an AYCE setup. I had to put my initial plate aside as I attempted to keep up with the servers. Talking to my co-workers didn't help. I needed to shut up and eat. It wouldn't stop: Leg of Lamb, Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon, Pork Ribs, Chicken Sausage, Lamb Chops... ...it wouldn't STOP! I wasn't complaining because each item was so good. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, tender to the chew. I was in heaven! I finally asked the guy next to me how to get them to stop and he told me to flip my card over. That was when I noticed the green circular marker on the table. I flipped itover and it was red. Nobody else brought me anything and thank God. I was full from the salad and sides and staring at a plate full of half-eaten meat. I couldn't wait to bring my wife back to show her a good time, which she did indeed have. I loved the experience and will return. It's about $50 per person for AYCE, but it's truly worth it. The servers are great with wonderful personalities. The dessert was awesome too. Be sure to sign up for the e-club. You get a sign-on bonus for $25 off an order of two dinners, which is a really good deal. I hate to leave three stars for this place because I Love Texas de Brazil! We are from Texas and this chain has always been one of our go to places when we're hungry. Speaking of this location only, we've been here so many times and our frequency of visits has dwindled down over the last few years. They have a handful of amazing servers and carvers. I wish I could remember all their names but I can only remember the carvers Nathan and Chris. We have five kids and some of these carvers are so great with the kids!! I have one son who has autism and Nathan, Chris, and one other server in particular have always been very accommodating and make it a point to smile talk to the kids. They seem to genuinely enjoy their job or at least they are good at faking it. :) We also had three servers that we absolutely loved, but two don't even work there anymore. So on to why I have to give 3 stars. Every time we go there is a different manager and each time they seem less and less concerned with the experience customers are receiving. Although I did like the manager at our most recent visit who was also a new face. For us, this place is a normal spot for meals but for some this is only for special occasions. TdB only has one chance to make a good impression on those people and I feel like this location falls short a lot. If you get seated in certain areas the carvers will just pass you by or not even get near your table. You'll have to wait several minutes for your server to come by and ask if you want anything sent over. By the time he or she tells someone it's been 10-15 mins and the first plate of food you had is already settling. Then you may see a few carvers back to back and then they are back to their normal route that doesn't include your table. We usually go in with a party of 5 to 8 people except when we bring friends so it's not like we are just two people sitting a corner not being seen. Plus, this is the smallest location we've ever been in and we've been to 7 locations. So you can't say there are just too many customers inside. We've even had a couple servers not come back for 15 mins or more. When you're spending that much on a meal I'd like to see my server a little more twice the entire meal. On to the food. My kids will tell you that they prefer dinner service because of the sushi rolls on the salad bar and a few extra cuts of meat. This would be great but the last few visits the lamb was overcooked and rubbery. They also didn't refill the sushi. On a side note, I've never seen beef ribs here so I don't know if that's a Texas thing or not but I would like to have that here. If it is supposed to be available then I'm mad that they've never had it served on the nights we've been for dinner. I have had the bbq pork ribs and was not impressed. The freshness of the salads has been questionable the last few visits. Next, the place itself. Many times over the last couple years the tables were barely wiped down, there has been food on the floor under the table we are being seated at, and there have been dirty plates. Last time alone I had to put aside three plates before I got a clean one. I get that mistakes happen and sometimes things get overlooked but the number of times this happens is just crazy. The last two times we went they had standing AC units with giant pipes running to the ceiling and it was hot. Being that hot just makes it uncomfortable and harder to enjoy your meal because your stinking face is sweating. Again, I know things come up and they were trying to make the situation better by putting those eyesores in but when it's that hot offer everyone a percentage off or something. When you make a reservation they don't tell you it's going to be hot they just seat you when you get there and you've already started eating by the time you realize that you're even sweating. Ugh. They also raised the price of the weekend lunch which I'm sad about. Now that I've complained enough I'd like to let you know about some good things! They do offer a military discount which I love since we qualify for this discount. You can bring your kids because they have kid pricing!! They brought back the spicy picanha which is very good. Even picky eaters can find something they like, try a Friday lunch first if you're worried, it's usually cheaper than other days and times. The salad bar is usually very clean and plentiful but don't forget to try the soup and other items on the side bar! Advice - don't fill up on the salad bar before you get any meat. The salad bar will still be there after the carvers start coming to your table. They do have a salad bar only option if you prefer. Note to TdB -- bring back the red white and blue candy. Please address some of these issues so we can start going more often and I can bring friends with confidence instead of worrying if it's going to be a disaster. read more

Our recent visit to Texas de Brazil was disappointing. My husband and I ate here on Friday night and he got the full buffet including the meat and I only got the salad bar/buffet. The most disappointing part was that the runners bringing the meat around were rarely stopping at our table. There was a 20 minute span where only two people stopped by our table to offer any meat. We told our waiter twice that the runners weren't coming to the table, but to no avail. Finally, I went and told the manager what was going on. After this, we were bombarded, but unfortunately by this point our food had settled and neither of us were really hungry for anything more. The manager did not offer to comp even a small amount off of our bill which was really unprofessional. Additionally, only half of the food on the buffet is labeled, which turns into a guessing game. I put what I thought were sun-dried tomatoes on my salad and was later surprised to realize they were red chiles. For the amount of money that they charge for a meal at Texas de Brazil, I expect the food and service to be top notch. Unfortunately this isn't the case. We won't be back. read more

This was the worst experience I think I've had at a restaurant. I can't even begin to explain the disappointment. Never have I experienced a more below, subpar dining experience at any other Brazilian Steakhouse. 2 hour wait The servers came to our table 4 times with the same cut of meat (sirloin), with 8-10 minutes in between. This is difficult to write because I don't know where to start. Actually, let's start with their signature Lobster Bisque. I think water might be thicker than that "bisque." Not a single inkling of lobster in the entire vat of paint thinner. Also was told the meat would be medium-rare, and I love me some medium-rare meat. Imagine my surprise when I got either something a skilled veterinarian could save or what santa gives to children who have been bad. The garlic steak was another wow. It tasted like garlic-flavored radiation fallout lathered on steak. A true assualt on the taste buds. Everything else was literally just OK. Middle of the road quality and flavors all around. Not a single standout. Only things that I can say I actually liked were the onion ceviche and pineapple carpacchio, cause I don't really know if you can mess those up. You may ask what was I expecting from this fine establishment? Truly I have no clue. But for $50 a per person I was expecting something half-way decent, that didn't make me sick after. Texas de Brazil is one of those places you go if you wanna eat a week's worth of protein in a single meal. We had a party of 10 for my boyfriend's birthday lunch. The service was attentive and fast. We hardly had to wait for the meat to arrive. They came back around at least 3 more times before our party was stuffed. There were 2 complaints I have. One: the meat servers looked extremely bored, like they didn't want to be there. This kinda reduced the vibe of the restaurant. Second: some of the cuts of the meats - beef sirloin, lamb leg - were way too salty. Perhaps a strategy to minimize people from eating too much? My favorite item were the cheese breads balls. Much to my boyfriend's dismay, I was eating them like candy. A lot if the salad bar options were also really tasty. The lunch was $35 / person for Saturday lunch. Fairly priced. If you're not a big meat eater, you can opt for the salad buffet instead for $25 / person. These are only weekend lunch prices. read more

The food was average for the price we paid. Several of the meats that were brought out were overcooked, especially the chicken. I ordered a glass of wine. The wine glass had a rough residue on on the outside and was clearly dirty. I asked for a new wine glass and was given one. The people that I was with complained the restaurant was too noisy. Also, I received a $20 off coupon when signing up for the restaurants online service and then scheduling a reservation. I tried to use the coupon during checkout. The waitress seemed confused about the coupon and then came back to our table to let us know the manager stated coupons can't be used on Saturdays. No restrictions were listed on the coupon. I felt that what we were told was untrue. It's not worth going back there. There are plenty of better restaurants in Columbus at that price point. read more

My first visit to Texas de Brazil a couple of days ago was very enjoyable. My daughter treated as a combined birthday / Christmas present. I will get my one complaint out of the way first: My daughter called a little before we left and asked if it was necessary to make a reservation. They told her it was't necessary. While true, we waited a very long time to be seated... long enough for me to become pretty annoyed that they didn't strongly recommend to her that she make a reservation because they get slammed even weekday nights. It didn't help that they told us when we got there the wait would be about 15 minutes and it was three or four times that. At one point, we asked for an update on our wait time and were basically blown off with an answer of how many reservations and groups waiting were on the list. He didn't even ask our name to see where we were on the list. I didn't want to ruin a nice evening by being mad, so I let it go. I'm glad, because the rest of the evening was very nice and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress gave us a brief explanation about how things work, which is much appreciated in a unique place like this. Basically, there is a "salad bar" and a "hot bar" of various items. I'll discuss that more in a minute. The meat is brought out on long skewers and carved on the spot at your table. Each of the carvers has one type of meat and there are many of them moving around from table to table, so there is a pretty wide variety of different meats. Examples include bacon wrapped filet mignon, steak, lamb chops, leg of lamb, some pork options, and I think a couple more beef options. The beef is served primarily medium rare, but you can request other degrees of doneness. Everything was tender and well seasoned. No need for steak sauce here! My favorites were the steak and the lamb chops. Delicious. Back to the salad bar. Whatever you are picturing in your mind from previous salad bars you have experienced, that's probably not what you will see here. Yes, there is lettuce and dressing, but so much more. Great tabouleh, bean salad, a variety of cheeses, including goat cheese, various olives, salami, and so much more. Everything I tried was delicious. The hot items that night included potatoes au graten, a fish and veggie dish, lobster bisque, sauteed mushrooms, jasmine rice, and one or two more items. They also bring a bowl of mashed potatoes and some fried bananas to your table. Each meal is just a little under $50 and desserts are in the $10 range. If you also get drinks, estimate another $10 or more per drink. And by all means, make a reservation. read more

I wanted to give this all the stars but my hubby and I went during lunch (cheaper than dinner I might add) for his birthday and the one thing we really wanted was being served until dinner: lamb chops (sad face). But other than that we really enjoyed his birthday. My hubby really enjoyed his free chocolate birthday cake! I love going to the salad bar and of course the meats, yes, so good along with the bananas and mashed potatoes. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by an unfriendly hostess. After confirming our reservation we were shown to a table. This place is a lot smaller than I imagined. The tables are fairly close and the atmosphere is very dark and dim. Our waitress was awesome! She was very attentive and explained the process thoroughly. We started with the salad bar, which had several different types of olives, lettuce, and all the salad fixings. The balsamic vinaigrette was amazing. Great tang and a slightly sweet finish. I tried the lobster bisque, it had a creamy, rich texture, but no pieces of lobster. At this caliber of establishment I would have expected pieces of lobster in the bisque. Main course was the meats. I tried everything from leg of lamb to flank steak, filet to pork ribs. I was disappointed in the chicken. Each piece was very dry to the point that it was not enjoyable. The pork ribs were the same, little barbecue sauce and they were very dry. The most flavorful was the flank steak and the leg of lamb. Both were tender and juicy. Overall, if it wasn't for the waitress and few cuts of meat, I would have rated this experience lower. Disappointed considering the price paid. read more

Amazing place with great food! This prices may scare some people, but you get your money's worth: steak, chicken, pork, lamb. It was my birthday, so decided to do something special. They gave me a free dessert. I highly recommend this place for great food. This also is great place for friends to come and hang out and chat- I found the noise level lower than most places. My husband is a HUGE fan of Texas de Brazil, and first took me to the one in Chicago. It was amazing. So when we heard they were building one in Easton, we HAD to go. I love this place. The entrance is beautiful, and the hostess station is really nice as well. They have a HUGE salad bar, and the soup of the day is always Lobster Bisque. They bring around cuts of meat on MASSIVE swords, and when they get to your table, they tell you what it is. They will cut a portion off for you. The outside pieces are the best, as you get all the flavors of the seasoning and the flavors that they cook it over. The only downside to this place is the price. For dinner, it's $50/person. I think their lunch price is somewhere around $35/person. Also, they don't have all of their cuts of meat available for lunch that they do for dinner. read more

Our family was truly looking forward to dining here, and the occasion was my daughter's birthday. Our reservation was for 6:15 p.m. on a Tuesday. The restaurant was busy but not full. We were "greeted" by a hostess who acted like she wanted to be anywhere but working in that restaurant. Not only with our party of three but with everyone we watched who entered after us, she was in no hurry to speak to anyone or check them in. We waited a while before we were seated (there was no one ahead of us), which was funny, because when she finally seated us, it involved walking about 15 feet and placing three sets of silverware on a table near the entrance. Not sure what necessitated the wait. The temperature outside was in the mid 30s, so it took only a few minutes after being seated to know being at the table nearest the entrance was not going to be a good experience. I walked back to the hostess stand and asked if we could move to one of the 4-5 empty tables of the same size father in the room. "It will be 30 to 40 minutes if you want to do that," was the reply I received. The hostess clearly had no desire to put forth an ounce of effort. We decided that spending $200 or so for dinner while sitting in a cold, drafty restaurant wasn't a great way to spend the night. We left, walked to nearby Brio and enjoyed great food and service. Maybe we'll try Texas de Brazil in a location other than Columbus. Ohio. I suggest you do the same. read more

In theory this restaurant style is great, in practice it was a total disaster. We made a reservation for 8:15 on opentable, but when we arrived, the scene was total mayhem. The lobby was filled with groups who had also made reservations and were being told they were running 30 minutes behind. We were finally seated only because several other couples left in frustration. The wine list could fit on a Post -it note, the only selections being $15 supermarket bottles, up charged to $60. Instead, we opted for a pitcher of sangria. Soon after, we were met with a barrage of waiters, one after another, offering meats. It became almost comical and we were unable to have any sort of conversation before the next one would pop up. It seems they send all the waiters over all at once and then they completely avoid your table. This experience would have been more bearable if the Sangria had contained an ounce of alcohol. After the pitcher was finished my boyfriend and I decided we would have been better off taking one shot of tequila. After being ignored by the meat men for about 30 minutes, a nice man came over and offered some chicken, he helped us signal over another waiter with flank steak. The waiter, perhaps slighted by this summons, shaved off the skin of the flank steak. No joke it was a millimeter thick. Considering the set price of $50 per person and seemingly non alcoholic sangria, this dinning experience felt like a fever dream. You are better off walking two blocks down to shake shack. This restaurant is truly embarrassing to both Texas and Brazil. read more

Sooo...how does someone that rarely eats meat end up in Meat Lovers Heaven?! "I don't care...you decide."...That's how. We had reservations for nine, but were not seated until 9:15. This caught us a little off guard... Due to the wait, a manager (Mariah) decided to seat us and explain everything about the restaurant in detail for us since this was our first time. Mariah was absolutely wonderful! We first started with the largely, assorted salad bar. Out of the 55 selections from the bar, I decided to make a salad with the romaine lettuce, fresh mozzarella, and marinated shrimp. I topped the salad off with the chimichurri sauce and it was absolutely yummy! Looking back now, I think that the chimichurri sauce would have been great to dip some of the meats in. I'm a dipper...what can I say? I also found that that's what the chimichurri sauce was for anyway, lol. I also had the lobster bisque which was the best lobster bisque that I've ever had. It was super creamy and absolutely delicious! The skilled meat servers were so wonderful. They always made sure that we had meat on our plates, even when our coasters were on red. They were always very friendly as well. Out of all the amazing meat selections, my favorites were: - Lamb Chops - Garlic Sirloin Least favorite: - Brazilian Sausage - Leg of Lamb Mediocre: - Bacon Wrapped Chicken - Flank Steak - Filet Mignon Didn't try: - Parmesan Chicken - Parmesan Pork The garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas were pretty good as well. Although the food was absolutely amazing, our waitress was not the greatest. We had to go up and get fresh plates from the salad bar whenever we wanted to exchange our plates out. I would definitely recommend Texas De Brazil to all meat lovers and non meat lovers. When planning to visit, make sure that you have reservations and that you have no plans afterwards. Went here for an anniversary dinner. All the meat was delicious and the staff was very curteous! We loved the spicy options and the sausage was very flavorful. However, we were disappointed at the lack of attention to the cards on they table. They instructed us to put the green side up if we wanted to be offered cuts of meat, and the red side if not. Even when we had the red side up, we still had waiters approaching us and interrupting. They also mumbled so much and it was impossible to tell what the meat we were tasting was, especially with the din of the restaurant. The buffet was limited to mostly salad options, where were excellent, but there was really only salad and rice dishes. Finally, our server was inattentive and rushed all our interactions, once again mumbling. Where we were sat by a window was packed with drink pitchers and extra silverware leading to awkward servers squeezing by our table to get supplies. A 3 with a bump to 4 for great customer service. I know many previous reviews slam the service, but not this time. Open table changed our reservations to Friday from Saturday. Hostess was very understanding, and mentioned that happens too often. Seated in minutes, even with others waiting. It pays not to be an ass. Our server(Ellie) walked us through our first visit to this unique theme. We started with a bowl of Lobster Bisque from the hot bar. It was creamy, and steaming. Nothing chunky about it. Moving on to the cold bar. Plenty of great cold selections. You may be disappointed if you were expecting the large bowl of lettuce and 50 toppings. It's more of 50 cold side dishes to sample. Apparently it was so good that we had to stop ourselves from filling up before the main course. As I went to the hot bar to grab some side dishes, Ellie brought garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled bananas. Here's where things fell off for me. Now I have a plate with some warm sides, and my disc turned over to call for meat. As my impatience grows after just a couple minutes, I start eating the sides. Now they're getting colder. Ok first skewer that comes by I accept. Top sirloin. Average. Bacon wrapped filet. Over cooked. Flank steak. Finally good and juicy. Sides are frigid. Please clear my plate while I start over. Ok, I refilled, and now want specific meat to taste before I'm full. The Brazilian meat was not special. The parmesan crusted pork loin was better. The sausage had the best seasoning of them all. The ribs were average and tough. The manager stopped by the table to wish me a happy birthday. We praised the service. He quickly went to send a lamp chop skewer over, that we had not tried. Average. I wish the meat had great seasoning. I fought with the pepper shaker all night. It barely dispenses. Ellie offered her pepper grinder. Once was fine, but she would have to camp at our table for every skewer. We declined dessert, and they declined my Texas de Brazil club Birthday gift certificate. My fault. I should have not just printed the email, but changed the view to 400%. Kym took a picture of the fine print so she could pinch expand it on her phone. Sure enough, not valid on holidays. It's been 14 hours since I finished my last meal here, and I'm still not even close to being hungry (granted, I slept seven of those hours). Texas de Brazil inspires gluttony for at least four reasons: 1. It's hard not to feel as though you need to eat a lot to get your $45 worth; 2. It's a buffet where the food comes to you instead of you having to go to it; 3. there's a lot of variety to sample; and 4. pretty much everything here is very, very good (I refrain from calling it excellent only because it's a little on the salty side). In any case, I hate this feeling of having stuffed myself silly, but love the food here enough to come about once a quarter regardless. Also, I think I now have a good enough handle on what's really good and what's less so, to the extent that I may better control my intake next time... Tip: last night featured a moment when a gaucho's attempt to slice off a portion of a leg of lamb resulted in significant blood splatter on my friend's shirt. Booked reservations for a Saturday evening. I highly encourage anyone to do this if you're planning on visiting. We were seated right away and the process was explained by our waitress. The salad bar was plentiful and everything I chose was really good. The meats were then presented and all of those were really good too. I think there were only 4 to 5 different selections though, seemed that Ridizio Grill offered more when I visited a few years ago. Drinking glasses were left unfilled at times. Cool place to visit every once in awhile, however for $50 a person, I don't find myself going back anytime soon because there are way too many other options available in the area. read more

Came here on a date night. Texas de Brazil has a great open salad bar to compliment all of the meat selection. My favorite is the filet mignon got it about 3 times when it came around. The meats come out so fast I felt like I was racing to finish the meat I currently had, kinda got too excited. The flank steak was my second favorite and then the garlic picanha. Our server was mike and he suggested we got the mike drink from the bar it was great if you like sweet drinks, honestly I recommend it to anyone. I also got an amaretto sour it was made perfect. I'm very disappointed with the experience and the food, and I'm embarrassed that I took my father here for his birthday. We were all looking forward to it, and my father coming from China has never experienced a churrascaria. I recommended it because I enjoyed it the first time I was here when it first opened years ago. This time, we waited 15 minutes for the server to even acknowledge our table and she only came by 2 times in a 2 hour meal. The salad bar was good, but was not kept clean throughout service. Only 4 types of meat were served in 2 hours and we only received a total of 4 meat servers, very slow and spread out. The steak and chicken were over cooked and too dry to enjoy. Then we asked for the lamb and they said it would be an extra charge, likely due to post-pandemic inflation. Overall, it was not worth the money, none of the employees cared about anything, and I'm highly embarrassed to have taken my father to this establishment. I would suggest a hard pass on this place until they can fix these issues. read more

It was an absolutely horrible experience. We were seated in a back room that was very dimly lit and the music was blasting. The service was horrible. Super slow. Paid for an almost $5 soft drink and only had 1 refill. The meat was practically raw. Bled all over the plate and the table. While being seated in the back room, the meat guys would continuously overlook us and we sat with empty plates for a long time. Had to flag them down to get them to come to our table. We've been here a few times before and it was very good . Tonight however was a disaster. We had a reservation and were actually seated early . They sat us at a table right by the door and hostess stand it was cold outside and everytime someone opened the door it was freezing . Also when it got busy it got crowded by us . My husband's chair was in a spot where people were hitting him every time they passed behind him so he changed seats , our waiter came and took our drink order and told us to help ourselves to the salad bar . When we got back to our table the drinks weren't there yet but there was water and apparently the waiter spilled some on the table and didn't wipe it up . We were already eating before he ever brought them out . It was crowded and seemed like we were being passed by when the meat came around. The waiter never came back to check on us so we stopped him to ask for refills it was probably 20 minutes later he brought refills out but we were done eating and wanted our check . This is when things got really bad . It was my son's birthday and he had a 20 dollar off birthday coupon on his phone and also had had a 100 dollar digital gift card on his phone . The waiter had him write the codes down on a paper to take them off the bill . He left with those and wasn't coming back. We saw him waiting on other tables When he did come back he said the gift cards weren't working and had my son write them down again. My husband had stuck a hundred dollar bill in with the check to cover the difference . When he finally got everything working he brought the check back and said we owed 67 dollars extra . We said we had put a hundred dollar bill in to cover the difference . He left again and came back and said they couldn't find the money and didn't know where it went ! He left again and we saw him waiting on tables while we were waiting there . Eventually he came back and said it must of got lost because his boss was handling several bills ! I said how do you lose a hundred dollar bill and he said I don't know . He left again and handed us the booklet and said here's your change it had 40 dollars in it so obviously someone just stuffed some change in because they knew we were getting mad . We probably spent more time waiting to settle our check than we actually did eating . Also we never got any bananas or were asked if we wanted dessert . While we were eating one of the meat server's dropped a big piece of meat on the floor said oh shit and kicked it off to the side with his foot ! The meat was still on the floor when we left. Hopefully nobody ended up slipping on it ! I don't believe we'll be going back there again . For the price it cost to eat there it was a really bad experience tonight. read more

I used to Came here often. But tonight we came here to celebrate a friends bday. And the taste and quality of the food was horrible. I don't really know what happened cause everything since the bread to the meat was totally different have no taste at all. I hope you take care of this soon. Cause I love this place. So. Much. Meat! I was in town for a conference and came here with my husband after terrible conference food left me famished. This called for drastic measures. This place is fortunately all about that. The salad bar was vast and abundant. It's easy to get sucked into eating so much off the salad bar you don't eat much meat, because literally everything on it is delicious. Of note, the lobster bisque from the hot side and the Brazilian vinaigrette, which is good on both salad and meat. About the meat. Basically when you're ready (which was for me the second my butt hit the seat) there's a card you flip over indicating you're ready to start the meat parade. And they come, one after another, with giant swords of meat. Probably about 12 different cuts of lamb, beef, chicken and pork, and sausage. Before we knew it we had eaten to absolute sickness, but we didn't care. The filet fell apart with a fork, but the showstopper was definitely the sirloin. Really though, it was all exceptional. The service was great, too. Our server was friendly, attentive, and not afraid to engage in a little conversation. She was prompt with drinks and brought out the mashed potatoes and bananas within a minute or two of us getting our first servings of meat. This was a great experience. Went here with a gift card that we received. It was just OKAY. Many of the meats offered were dry. The croutons on the salad bar were moist and not at all crunchy. The sides offered to the whole table were barely enough for two people and we had four. Left three stars because the men in our party really enjoyed their meals and the meats. My god where to start with my love of Brazilian foods. This place specializes in Steak. Like most Churrascaria, they do carry them around on swords and bring them around to your table. They have a lot of different steak, including my favorite Flank Steak! They grill everything on a bed of rock salt, which makes the outside very sweet and juicy. They do have a huge salad bar, with Lobster Bisque (a staple of theres, you will hardly see another soup out on the bar). It is pricey, so do not be shocked to drop $50 for one person during dinner. Really good food and atmosphere. Our first visit and maybe our last though. They made a point of asking if we were there for a special occasion when I made the reservation, when we arrived and when our waiter ran us through the process. Each time we mentioned that it my wife's birthday. At the end though when we asked for the check, not even a cupcake with a frickin candle. On top of that when 'Alejandro' returned with our gift card with a $6 balance (another couple had given us a card with $3 left on it to use so we ended up with $6 and change left over) and confirmed that the $20 bill we gave him was his tip ( approx $100 tab so $20 was a decent tip IMO) he had the balls to ask if he could keep the gift card too. We explained that we had intended to give it to another table and 'pay it forward' but never got it back. This was my first time here and I enjoyed it a lot. From the hostess to the waiters/waitresses, everyone was polite and helpful. If you haven't been here before, it's an all you can eat fancy grilled meat restaurant. You have a 51-item salad bar (including lobster bisque) that you start with, and once you're back at your table, the waiters will come by with different kinds of meat (chicken, lamb, pork, beef). If you want, then they will cut you a slice. If not, then they will come back later, do not worry. Everything was delicious, even the starter bread! Overall the experience was just ok. To start the service was very slow. We were there for about 2 hours and I was only served 2 drinks despite wanting many more. After the second drink, the waiter took my glass as he walked by. Never asking if I wanted another. He was not to be seen for another 20 minutes and by then I was just done. I've never seen that happen before. The meat comes out quickly in the beginning. We tried 3-4 different meats in the first 15-20 minutes and then came the slow down. I assume its a tactic they use to serve you less and therefor profit more. On top of that, the meats aren't of great quality. Flank steak and sirloin are good but at these prices I need ribeye and filet. The Brazilian sausage was just a warm fat Slim Jim. The pork was dry and not really edible. We went 25 minutes without seeing our waiter or a meat guy come near us. They seemed to be understaffed. Overall I think this place is a bad value. Our check for 2 people was $125 before tip. That only includes 3 total cocktails (I wish we had more). For that money I can think of quite a few places I'd rather go. I will definitely not be returning. read more
