My family and I recently dined here to celebrate a couple of birthdays with a party of ten. I have a very curious and strong willed almost four year old who absolutely loves to play with the water in kids' cups whenever we're at restaurants. The staff was quick to bring out a high chair for her, which I really appreciated because I knew that if she sat in a regular chair, she'd constantly want to get down and explore. The high chair was sturdy, even for her age/height/weight, clean, and...best of all...the buckles actually worked! That may sound like a small thing, but I've been to plenty of restaurants where the high chair buckles are broken, so it's always something I notice, along with the cleanliness of the highchair itself and the buckle straps and buckles. That specifically is something I also look for because my daughter has a lot of severe food allergies, and cross-contamination for her is a real thing! Despite me even wiping down the high chairs and table area of where she is seated, it has happened when we've gone out even though she was eating safe foods for her. And germs...kids transfer so many germs so I definitely still wipe down the chair and buckles with disinfecting wipes. The variety of food and meats here is really impressive. I honestly think there's something for everyone, and probably multiple favorites. My almost 6 year old ate so much, and so did my almost 8 year old. The servers were great about coming by frequently, but they also spaced things out enough that we never felt bombarded with food or had our plates completely covered at once. I ordered one of their traditional drinks that had mango flavor as a choice, but unfortunately I can't remember the name. It was the one thing that disappointed me. It came in a fairly short glass that was filled to the top with ice, so it felt like there wasn't much of the actual drink to enjoy. This is my reason for the star deduction, because for the price of the drink and what I got, this was a huge let down. Our server...oh my goodness, I feel terrible that I can't remember her name because I waited too long to write this review, was incredibly kind and patient, especially with my youngest. We were a large table, and she had other guests to take care of as well, but she did a great job keeping up with us. She was quick to bring extra napkins when we needed them and always replenished anything we requested in a timely manner for the most part. One of my favorite things here is the plantains! I honestly think I eat more plantains than meat every time I come. Haha! This is still one of my favorite places to bring my family, especially because my youngest has several severe food allergies. She's allergic to eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame, so I have a lot less to worry about here than I do at many other restaurants. We actually brought her own food because she usually doesn't eat much when we go out. She's far more interested in playing with the water in her cup than eating. And honestly, we just couldn't justify paying the kids' buffet price for her when we already knew she wasn't going to eat enough to make it worthwhile. Overall, this restaurant has a great atmosphere, is clean, offers a huge variety of food, has an excellent salad bar, and consistently provides attentive service. Even though this is my first review here, I think this was actually my fourth visit, and I still haven't had a bad experience. For Mother's day, my family and I had a reservation at Texas de Brazil. It's been over 7 years since I last visited a Texas de Brazil location! This restaurant is located in Town Square with plenty of parking spots! We had a family of 8 members and it ended up being a really fun brunch experience! Our reservation was for 11:30, but we did end up going in early around 11:10. By the time we finished about an hour and a half later, the restaurant was full! Like most Brazilian steakhouses, the experience starts with the salad area! There were a ton of hot and cold items like the following Couscous Salad (My favorite!!) Spring Mix Brazilian Cheese Bread Garlic Mash Potatoes French Fries Fried Bananas Rice, Potatoes au Gratin Cheeses Deli meats and more! It's really easy to accidentally fill up before the meat even starts coming around if you're not careful! Once the Texas de Brazil team members started bringing the meats around, things picked up quickly! Most of the popular cuts came by within the first 30 minutes or so, and overall the pacing felt pretty good considering how busy the restaurant was. The variety was solid too, different cuts of beef, chicken, pork, and lamb constantly circulating around the dining room. The only thing we really had to specifically request were some of the more in demand items like the bacon wrapped filet and the lamb chops. Those seemed extremely popular, so they disappeared quickly whenever they came out! Thankfully the staff was really accommodating about taking requests, and once we asked, they made sure those cuts eventually made it back to our table! Absolutely love this place! The food is plentyful and absolutely delicious. Our server Eddie was top-notch. The place definitely is a tight squeeze with limited space between tables. Felt bad for the staff as they were trying to maneuver with trays, drinks, food, etc. we did witness two different tables with one minor in each table get splashed with various items like ketchup, etc., because the servers were struggling to get through the minimal space they were provided to serve. The salad bar is absolutely wonderful and all of the meats are perfect perfectly seasoned and cooked! Went here for a birthday celebration and it was so good as usual. I like to come here at least once a year and i love it better than Fogo. Their selection of meats and the salad bar is more enticing. Their mozarella balls are so big and even the hot food area was really good, esp the shrimp. I think they should eliminate the mashed potatoes and fries or at least leave it as an option, just so they don't waste more food. The drinks were yummy and the food was good. The only thing was that not every meat was coming around so if you want a specific one, you just have to ask for it so we kinda had to wait for it to come. read more

If you're looking for a nice steakhouse, I would suggest somewhere else. This has got to be the worst steakhouse and Brazilian steakhouse I've ever been to. The server seemed like he wasn't present and forgot my water when I asked twice and a couple side dishes as well. The food seemed like it skipped my table each time but the leg of lamb somehow came to my table continuously. The steaks and food were also okay nothing to rave about - more so on the chewy bad side. Had a 6:30 reservation for four and walked into a packed, high-energy restaurant--which initially felt promising. Unfortunately, the hostess was noticeably unfriendly and set a pretty poor tone right from the start. Thankfully, Rui, our server, was the saving grace of the evening. He was warm, attentive, and accommodating, and honestly the only reason the experience didn't completely fall flat. The meat came out quickly and often, which is great in theory--but the quality just didn't deliver. Most of it lacked flavor and didn't stand out at all. If you've been to Fogo de Chão, this just doesn't compare--the meat there is significantly better. Same goes for the salad bar, which felt underwhelming here. I came here twice and twice i had an average experience. Lets start out with the basics, the place is packed all the time! That in and of itself proves that people like it here. The salad bar was well presented and the options were adequate. The taste of the food and the Service were simply average in my opinion. I ordered the Churrasco Plate online today, and the estimated pickup time was 20 minutes. I actually arrived about 8 minutes early, but I still ended up waiting an entire hour before I received my food. The most frustrating part was the lack of concern from the front desk staff. Every time I asked about my order, I was told, "We'll check in a minute," but when they came back, they were always calling someone else's order instead of mine. There was little communication or apology for the delay. When I finally got home, which is only about a 7-minute drive away, the food was cold. The quality of the food itself was good, but it tasted like it had been sitting out for at least 20 minutes before it was handed to me. Texas de Brazil has great food, but today's pickup experience was extremely disappointing. We paid $64.99 per person (which is about $15 more than the $52.99 price about 5 yrs ago) for ayce meats and salad bar otherwise a person can opt for salad bar only for $33.99, which is great for vegetarian or those not wanting meats. The cocktails, liquor and sodas are extras. I'm sad to say they only had 1 type of Moscato and recommend they add a couple more variety. I like my wine sweet. The meats were awesome! We had filet minon, flank steak, beef rib meat, picante filet minon which were spicy! We also had skirt steaks, my husband had rack of lamb and he enjoyed it. The sides were mash potato, grilled plantain which were my favorites, Brazilian bread, yummy and gooey inside, crispy and light outside, and extra crispy fries. I also gathered a little bit of everything from the salad bar, lobster bisque, olives, prosciutto, salami, pickled hearts of Palms, cucumber salad, string beans, grilled bell peppers, and beets. I recommend not piling up your plates at the salad bar as you will get full really fast with meats and the food already on the table. You can always go back and grab more from salad bar. Went here for the Valentine's experience and we were not disappointed. Everything was so good and the servers serving the meat would constantly ask if there was anything that you were looking for and if you were, they would send somebody over with that meat. They had everything, chicken, lamb, pork, and steak, maybe others. There were fries, some like deep fried sweet plantains. The salad bar was huge and had everything except thousand island. We came to Texas de Brazil on a Thursday evening as a group of six to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was extremely busy. One thing to know ahead of time is that they will not seat you until your entire party has arrived, which can slow things down if people are running late. Inside feels nice and has the look of a more upscale restaurant, but the space is also pretty cramped and loud. Depending on the person, that may or may not bother you, but it did take away a bit from what could have felt like more of a fine dining experience. As for the food, we enjoyed it and had a good experience overall. Three of us opted to just do the salad bar area, while the other three chose the full experience with the meats as well. The salad bar had a lot of variety. Those who did the meats enjoyed having the different cuts brought to the table throughout the meal. Our waitress did a good job taking care of us and kept things moving smoothly despite how busy the restaurant was. To be honest we were hesitant because we heard about their location in Austin having hit or miss reviews, but we decided it must be fate to check them out in this city. Most Brazilian steak houses we've experienced the filet mignon, sausages, pork ribs and chicken tend to be pretty dry and underwhelming, but NOT HERE! We were impressed with the snap and flavor of the sausage, the cook and texture of the filet, even the meaty juiciness of the pork ribs! Some other highlights were the lamp options! In all honesty most lamb is super gamey for me and its hard to find one I enjoy, however, they had so many lamb options to choose from and they all were phenomenal! The cinnamon sugar bananas and the pineapple carpaccio from the salad bar were INCREDIBLE! Plus their entire salad bar options were just as good as well! They even had lots of different soup varieties. I wish I had room to order dessert, but decided to pass and enjoyed the bananas as my dessert. So if you can save room or maybe take something home, cause they all looked insanely good! If you're in Vegas YOU MUST check them out! Highly recommend! We used to come here 2-3 times a month since the food was so good and the people were so attentive. In fact we would buy 3-5 VIP cards because we would take friends and family out to here. However we started coming less and less because quality control has been going down, and management doesn't seem to really care. We went last Friday and the food runners were really off their game. Salad buffet looked barren. The 20 minutes (yes I timed it) of us sitting there we were only approached 3 times and each time was with pork options and lamb. Told our waiter and he had people with beef options come by. Each cut was medium well or well done when we asked for medium rare. A lot of the times they would bring cuts that had no sear or char. When we would say no you can tell the runners were annoyed. At one point I had a small hill of overcooked meat, or bland cuts. The waiter was awesome. He got frustrated with the runners for us. He had to run back 2-3 times due to them not bringing out the right meats. I voiced my concern to a manager and he didn't seem to really care at all. We decided to end dinner early and get dinner somewhere else. We won't be coming back. For $65 a person I expect better quality. This AYCE Brazilian Steakhouse is by the far the best in town. We've been coming here for years to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. It has an upscale, very sleek ambiance and the customer service is impeccable as always. There's a variety of delicacies to choose from and I always start off with their lobster bisque which tends to warm my soul with its goodness. The cocktails were sweet and fruity, not-too-strong and paired perfectly with the savory meats. Every time I come here, I get the same meats: Picanha, lamb chops, spicy sirloin and their filet mignon. Don't forget the Chimichurri. Its herbaceous tanginess beautifully cuts through the richness of the meats giving it such a burst of flavor. We had a great anniversary dinner here at Texas de Brazil! We normally go to Fogo de Chao but decided to try Texas de Brazil for the first time to see how the two stack up against one another. I will say that I enjoyed the salad bar here more than the one at Fogo. The lobster bisque was something we aren't used to having at a Brazilian steakhouse and it was delicious. I also like that they have chimichurri readily available at the salad bar instead of having to ask the waiter. Chimichurri is such a staple and absolutely should be readily available at all Brazilian steakhouses. Picanha is normally our favorite cut of meat and they have great picanha, but it could have used a little more seasoning. The skirt steak was seasoned incredibly well and my husband ended up liking this cut more over the picanha. The picanha was still my favorite, but I did agree it could have used more flavor. However, all of the meats provided were cooked great. We were able to get rare/medium rare every time. The staff was very attentive and the manager even came by to check on us and make sure our dinner was going smoothly. I let the waiter know that we were celebrating our anniversary when we asked for the dessert menu and he let us know that they used to give desserts but now you must sign up for their rewards program to get a complimentary dessert. We ended up ordering the carajillo and creme brulee to end our meal. Both were delicious. A restaurant that enjoys celebrating special occasions with its diners earns a lot of brownie points from me, so Texas de Brazil fell short here for me. You're paying for an all-you-can-eat experience, but you spend a lot of time just sitting there waiting. This is the best Brazilian steakhouse I've ever been to. I've been here 2x and both have been amazing (feels like it gets better each time). I've celebrated family here and I appreciated how accommodating they were for our big parties. I'd recommend to go in for lunch vs. dinner because they're less busy around that time. The environment is clean, but on busy days it feels cramped. It's hard to squeeze to even when you're simply trying to check in. That's the only thing I hate here. Their sides are delicious, I get their shrimp, cucumbers, pickled onions, peppers, olives, rice, fries, and chimichurri sauce. Their bread is also just as good. When friends come to town, I get the chance to do more of the touristy restaurants and TdB is often on the list. Definitely make reservations as this place gets really busy, especially on weekends. We got there early and went to the bar area for a little pre-dinner action. When it got to the time of our reservation and they hadn't called us, the amazing bartenders (Tony and Mo are the best) let us know that we could eat at the bar. Since we were only 3 people, this sounded like a good idea and kept us close to the amazing options for beverages (sangria and the espresso drinks were well received by our group). It's a little different at the bar. They don't come around as much as if you were in the main dining room, but the bartenders were always asking what we they can send out; so note that if you do the bar option, good to know what they offer. I knew I wanted the lamb dishes, so those came out first and we weren't disappointed. The chops were a perfect barely medium rare and the leg of lamb was cooked to tenderness! The flank steak was amazing that evening. We also ate lots of bananas (if you don't want the mashed potatoes, rice or bananas they always bring to your table, you can ask them not to bring them... but get the cheese puffs!). Texas de Brazil is an easy 5/5 for me! The quality of the meat is absolutely amazing, and the salad bar is incredible with so many fresh and delicious options. Our favorites are the picanha, tri tip, and the flank steak. They are always perfectly seasoned and cooked. They give you tons of sides with your meal (mashed potatoes, french fries, sweet cinnamon bananas, and cheese bread)! If that isn't enough the salad bar is wonderful They also have a great happy hour! One of my favorites is the Strawberry caipirinha and it's only $6 during happy hour. Lobster bisque has gone down the drain. Not only was it tasteless pinkish water, it had no chunks or pieces of lobster in it. Other restaurants have at least pieces of lobster in it and it taste like lobster, for example Alexxa's Italian restaurant. I know it's not Brazilian but st least they know how to make it correctly. The service all but sucked. They must have past us a thousand times b4 we had to wave them down or ask our Table server who was pretty good and that is y they r getting 2 stars. The BBQ shrimp, and other meats were meh. Had to add salt. Will say the little bfast sausages were still still good. The little cheese buns that made them somewhat famous where tasteless. 2nd time coming to Texas de Brazil to celebrate an anniversary! Both times we had excellent service all around. This time we got to enjoy Happy Hour at the bar before our dinner reservations which was nice. I really enjoyed my drink. It was very refreshing. It was called the Brazilian passion fruit caipirinha. It was sweet with a little tanginess. It was delicious! Great quality meats with a variety of options. My meats were all very tender and seasoned well. I also really enjoyed the Brazilian sausage! This dining experience is all you can eat. They also have an extensive salad bar. You must try the Lobster Bisque! I would also recommend eating some meats first before filling your plate with food from the salad bar otherwise you will get full fast. I really wanted to try the bacon wrapped filet mignon, but I had no room for it. lol Great quality food for a reasonable price! I'll start by saying that part of the reason for the 4 stars (instead of 5) is that they don't serve the traditional Brazilian Lemonade. The second part of the reason is they ask if you're celebrating a special occasion but they don't do anything for the birthday guest or the couple celebrating their anniversary, ‍ why ask? They have the best service, waiters kept coming with different cuts of meat. I noticed they were offering flank steak than other cuts of meat, the manager asked us while doing his rounds what special meat we want and we asked for filet mignon and they came right away. They also kept refilling our cheese bread and fried bananas which I couldn't stop eating. Some of the meat were a little salty and burnt like very well done ( like the very thin flank steak). They have a lot of choices of appetizer from salad to potato salad, to hearts of palm, tomatoes, and cheese and couscous To mushrooms and shrimp. Food was really good. The salad bar had a lot of different options. The meats we tried were bacon wrapped chicken, Parmesan chicken, sausage, ribs, garlic Parmesan shrimp, flank steak, sirloin, spicy sirloin, picanha(steak), bacon wrapped sirloin. We passed on the lamb because none of us are fans. Will definitely come back again. Service was a little lacking. Some of the meat servers were a little impatient but nothing worth saying something to a manager. Our server was really attentive until the end. Not sure what happened but he left us for about 25 minutes after manure we were done eating. We had to ask another service if we could get our bill. read more

We made a reservation for 28 guests at 5:30 PM (which is in my email confirmation), but when we arrived, the restaurant had it listed as 5:00 PM on their system. Because of this, some of my guests were seated earlier than planned. I specifically chose 5:30 because a few people couldn't arrive until 6:30, and I wanted to make sure everyone had enough time to eat. When I questioned the discrepancy, the hostess told me we could be seated and that the manager would come speak with me. Unfortunately, even after two hours, the manager never came by. While our waitress did a great job handling drink and side requests, the food service was very disappointing. In the first 30 minutes, only a few dishes came out--Parmesan chicken, bacon-wrapped chicken breast, and flank steak--leaving most of our group waiting. This was probably the worst experience we've had here. We've always enjoyed coming to this restaurant, but after this visit, we're seriously reconsidering returning. read more

This place can be a bit pricey, but it is really good for special occasions and they have very good food. One of the servers name is Moses and every time that I do come in, He remembers who I am and he is really the nicest one. He will always come back and check on you and ask you what meats you want the vibe and atmosphere is really good as well. read more

For the service of February 15th (Sunday) at 7:30pm. This ESTABLISHMENT is running to the ground. I walked up to the podium, the manager acknowledged me. On my left hand was a birthday cake. I told him the name for which reservation this is under. I handed my cake to him. He handed to one of the hostesses and told her to put the cake in the fridge. To be clear, no smile or greeting when I first got to the podium. Given when I found out where my boyfriend's family and I were sitting, I was already unhappy. The table was in the back, past the bar. I know well enough you don't get much interactions meaning no one will come with the proteins. The other frustrating factor, there's three big tables in the whole room we were sitting in. Two of them are occupied, one of them is us and the other is this big party loud and obnoxious. They acted like they're the only ones. The kids do not have any manners, why would you keep banging on the table when other people are trying to eat? The birthday boy himself was unhappy where he felt he didn't get the service that you would regularly get. The price you paid and the service doesn't even match up. When you have the green side up, it takes about 10 minutes for the passadores to come to your table. Seriously?! The female server that was assigned to our table barely checked up on us. She definitely needs to be retrained, not the brightest either. She ruined the surprise by saying there's already a cake. I'm like facepalm. I was beyond frustrated. Do you like to ruin people's special occasions when they choose your restaurant to celebrate at? Whatever dessert he chooses then bring the birthday cake instead of that. How hard is it to do that? How do you bring the birthday cake with no plates + forks? My boyfriend's sister had to go get them herself. When it was time to pay, he had gift cards he wanted to use to pay the remaining difference. My boyfriend had a question about the points to add the account. The server did not know anything about that, go figure. The manger came, he himself doesn't know anything about that because it's a new system they just changed over recently. I haven't had nothing but a great experience at Texas to Brazil specifically this location in Vegas. The service is almost top-notch. Every time I request a certain meat I always get it right away. This location also offers every cut of meat for lunch and dinner. There's no restrictions or menu changes from lunch to dinner so that is one of my favorite things. My favorite kind of meat that I get was the lamb. The lamb is amazing. It is so good so rich and flavor so tender the picanha is also one of the best cuts of meat here. The ambience is very inviting here. It feels pretty classy so I enjoy that. I like to come here to celebrate like birthdays or achievements or anything. I always come here when I go to Vegas it's something I cannot miss. read more

Went here for Valentines Day and reserved our seat ahead of time. On the reservation note I put down it was for our anniversary - which is only a couple days after Valentine's Day. Got seated promptly and got up for the salad bar. Meats came sparingly for the first 20~ minutes. It always takes a while for it. Our server came maybe 10 minutes after we sat down to get our drink order and finally get the appetizers they bring to the table. All in all decent service but there's one thing that always gets me which is why I'm leaving 3 stars. Why do they ask if this is for a special occasion? They don't do anything with it. They don't say happy anniversary even though there's a note that our server saw. We've been here previously in SoCal for my mom's birthday and they didn't even say happy birthday. What's the use of asking for that information when nothing comes of it? I'll probably try some other options before coming back here. Edit - After looking at recent reviews, there's been a lot of subpar service at this location. The manager responds telling the reviewer thanks for the feedback but they keep getting the same feedback. Something's got to give? At least at Fogo De Chao they'll call you to talk with you to see how they can best resolve but not here. Also the responses from her look to be sincere but they all have the same sound which makes me suspicious that they could be using AI. read more

Over all it was a good experience for my first time there. Our waiter was ok, he didn't have a very happy or joyful disposition. (probably because he was working the day and - less tips) I had to ask for more tea, and they didnt remove our used plates or clear off the table. My friend I went with had been there many years ago. Had very interesting salad bar, soups . meats they bring are carved and serve at your table are more like your taste testing, you've have to ask them for more and they are all very very small cuts. Even though is it all you can eat. It's a bit expensive because I didn't even eat enough worth the one price, especially since it is all you can eat ( never eat my worth in $ price). They give you sides but was disappointed that they didn't serve some sort of vegetables. The manger is the one who came and offered to remove our used plates. I would rather spend $65+ for an amazing steakhouse dinner and be able to take my food home than all You can eat in one sitting, because I do t eat worth $65 price tag of food, and ice tea is served in a water goblet and cost $4 bucks , with a straw that is too long for the glass. It's fancy but some what impractical. For $65 serve me a nice steak meal with my own choose of sides! Elegant atmosphere, very cold AC a bit too high, but was a pleasant dining atmosphere. Starting with the service there were no offers for refills. We saw our waiter twice and the third time I requested the $170+ bill for 2. Desert was only offered after I requested the bill. The hot/cold salad bar was only cold. I rate it not great. The meat cuts infrequently brought around on the skewers were overdone and over spiced as if to cover the questionable cuts of meat. The ambiance was that of an overpriced buffet. A cafeteria of sorts. For over $85.00 each your money is better spent at Wicked spoon, Bellagio, or another venue.
