Ambiance: such a cute restaurant! i really enjoyed the interior design Service: our server was nice & knowledgeable. service itself was fast Food: we got the mashed potatoes, wagyu ravioli, the beef sampler (i can't remember the actual name), and broccolini. the only critique i'd have was that it was a little salty for my liking but i'm not a huge salt person. the 3 beef sampler was such a good idea. all i remember was how delicious the denver wagyu was!! filet was good too but thats pretty typical at most steakhouses. the 3rd meat i didn't care for & it was cooked a little more rare - we asked for medium rare. overall, i enjoyed dining here & would recommend it!

Restaurant week brought me to this place as it has become highly recommended by multiple friends. Their restaurant week menu was super enticing as it has multiple items from their menu. Honestly every item on prix fixer menu was fantastic. The service was impeccable from our server, Liz. The restaurant overall has a cool vibe.

Came here for date night on Friday. We arrived during happy hour so opted to sit in the patio on a beautiful day. Our server was friendly and gave a few recommendations. We ordered half dozen oysters, Brussels sprouts, tuna tartare, truffle fries, beef skewers, and popcorn shrimp. Food was delicious. I had a cosmopolitan which was refreshingly paired with our meal. Great experience here.

Ribeye, we asked for it sliced. Look at that perfect medium rare

This is THE new spot in Vegas. Vibe, service, apps, dinner, dessert - top to bottom amazing! It's a steakhouse with a lounge vibe. Vanessa, our server, made our dining experience special. You don't meet people a genuine soul like her every day. Jared runs an amazing operation. Tables were set like we were in The Bear. Service like a science. You will not be disappointed Best bites: Rib eye was perfect Lobster and crab Mac and cheese was rich and comforting The Caesar salad topped with fries anchovies might be the best in town Get the bacon Hamachi crudo had a memorable touch of spice DO NOT LEAVE without ordering the butter cake and cheesecake I know already that I'm going to be a regular. I'm already looking forward to my next reservation

We finally made it to Rare Society, a local spot with major California vibes. This place had been on our list for a while, and we were finally able to get a reservation on the day we wanted. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. I'd probably go back more often if it weren't for the parking fee at UnCommons, which still feels silly for a local strip mall. Service: (5/5) Jarred was our server, and he mentioned he was from the original San Diego location. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient throughout the night. I also really appreciated that they remembered my birthday, from the host to the server, everyone acknowledged it, which made the experience feel extra thoughtful. Ambiance: (5/5) Classic, low key, and fun. It's the perfect spot for date night, group dinners, or after-work catchups with friends. Food: (4/5) We enjoyed most of the dishes, though a few were just okay. 1. Caesar salad (5/5) -- I personally loved it, though some of my friends thought there was a bit too much pecorino. 2. Beef tartare (5/5) -- It looked simple, but the flavor was clean, authentic, and very well executed. 3. Steamed clams (4/5) -- Very tasty, though I personally prefer clams in a white wine sauce. 4. Shrimp cocktail (3/5) -- The shrimp didn't taste especially fresh, and we weren't fans of the Old Bay seasoning on top. 5. Parker House rolls (4/5) -- We ordered two rounds. The second batch came out a little too salty, but overall they were great. Slightly pricey for bread, in my opinion. 6. The Executive Board (4/5) -- We ordered this as our entrée and added extra lamb chops. My friends especially enjoyed the lamb chops. The steaks were very good overall, though some of the end pieces were slightly overcooked. 7. Potatoes, mushrooms, and broccolini (5/5) -- All the sides were delicious. 8. Butter cake (4/5) -- Very good, but a touch too sweet for me personally. 9. Bananas Foster cheesecake (4/5) -- Unique, interesting, and delicious. Overall, it's definitely a spot I'd recommend for locals looking to celebrate a special occasion. The service, ambiance, and overall dining experience were all solid.

Local Review: Anniversary Night and this is where my Husband chose after scrolling through option after option, as quantity is not the issue for locals finding somewhere to eat, its the quality that can often allude local diners. Located in the Uncommons, perfectly neighbored with the Durango Casino (for us at least, easy access to quickly lose $80 but had fun doing it), this new spot is right next to a parking garage allowing easy entrance. The restaurant itself is a vibe. It's dimly lit with small touches of gold, cozy booths, and a Captains eye view dining area, right in front of the open kitchen. The uniforms are on the laid back side but very well put together so it fits the upscale but not stuffy ambiance. Appetizers: Parker House Rolls- 10/10 Wood Grilled Artichoke-8/10- the salt and pepper garnish/crust, sticks to your fingers and is not edible, waaaay to salty but the Artichoke was perfectly cooked and the Chipotle Tomato Aioli was amazing..we asked for extra to take home Hamachi Crudo-10/10, we don't usually order something like this and all I can say is try it. just.try.it Mains: 16 oz Ribeye, 8/10, cooked to requested temperature and holy s%#@, the amount of "amazing steakhouses" that actually cook a steak correctly is low...very very low. Good flavor, not spectacular add on: Grilled Lobster, 10/10, I think it was a stuffed lobster tail with some herbs and bread crumbs mixed in and wow!!! One of the best lobsters I've ever had and the housemade garlic butter was the perfect accompaniment and even made its way to some side dishes for extra flavor. Bravo Sides: Lobster and King Crab Mac- 7/10, fancy restaurant staple side dish, this one seemed unique with both crab and lobster so we spent the $50 on it. Rich in flavor, cheesy, good portion of Lobster and Crab just too oily for us and there a better noodle options. Roasted Mushrooms, 10/10, excellent mix of mushrooms and a beautiful egg yolk sits on top so you can mix it in, yummy Truffle Potato Au Gratin, 6/10, love the truffle, needed salt and was slightly over charred Asparagus, 11/10. Best I have ever had, so unique so flavorful so unexpected Spring Onion Vinaigrette, XO mayo and crunchy peanuts I will be back literally for just this Dessert: Vanilla Creme Brulee, 6/10 didn't taste any Vanilla, the berries were not great and they over torched the top, the texture was perfect though. As local foodies, this place is a yes. Our bill was about $330, no alcohol or mocktails just food so its pricey but great for a celebration and we also ordered a lot and surprisingly it was still yummy for the next day. The service was pretty good. Our server was friendly but he didn't explain a single dish, like...it was pretty empty when we got there- you have this amazing menu with beautifully plated food and flavors that will satisfy and you dont talk about any of it!? We had time....you had time....especially in a restaurant like this- be a meal creator not an order taker. Such a bummer because he was mostly able to answer our few questions so it seems like the knowledgeable was there but not the passion or even effort. With price tags like that, the server had room to do better. Our backwaiter, younger girl with long dark hair, she was ON IT! She crushed every aspect and definitely displays finer dining skills. They started to fill up so our entrees took about 30 minutes from the time we finished apps but when the food is worth it, it's all good. We will be back, specifically for the Caesar Salad as we saw it floating throughout the restaurant and its visual appeal had us drooling

Early dinner inside this modern, contemporary designed steakhouse in the UnCommons across from Durango Resort. Our hosts and waitress and staff provided first class service. Classic steakhouse menu with their modern interpretation of recipes. Nice option to try is one of their steak boards that have a variety of their popular cuts of meat. Excellent place to have a special occasion dinner or just enjoy great service and food!

We ordered the dry-aged ribeye cooked over a wood fire. You can really taste the smokiness, which I know a lot of people love. For me personally, I tend to prefer a pan seared steak since it keeps more of that juicy richness, so this one came off a little less juicy than I expected but still flavorful. The sides were honestly the highlight. The mac and cheese was super creamy and packed with flavor, and the whipped potatoes were smooth, buttery, and just really well done. We also tried the banana foster cheesecake. It was decent, but I'll admit I have pretty high standards when it comes to cheesecake, so it didn't quite wow me. Overall, still a great experience with really good food and atmosphere. I'd definitely come back, maybe just try a different steak next time.

If you're looking for one of the best steakhouses off the Strip, Rare Society is going fast to the top of my list. Came in ready to make an executive decision... so we ordered the Executive Platter. No regrets. That thing easily feeds 5+ people and then some. It's basically a parade of perfectly cooked, flavorful cuts that keep coming at you. Every single side held its own. Usually there's that one side nobody touches. Not here. Each one was just as good as the next, no weak links on this table. Bonus points for having my drink of choice, a Carajillo. Steak and a Carajillo, That's a power move. Great food, solid vibe, and proof that you don't need to be on the Strip to eat.

My first visit was a weekday Happy Hour catch up with the girl friends. After this experience, I'm definitely returning for a full sit-down dinner The restaurant vibe and ambiance is pleasing to the eye and vibes. The showcased "U" shaped bar is beautiful and such a social media post ready to happen. The background wall is tall and stocked with the premium bottles. On the side, are two rotating towers of booze that make for a very cool look. The open dining area is rocking high quality tables, chairs and has a classy yet casual vibe. Our server on the receipt was "Bar B" and she was fantastic during our HH visit. I split a HH burger with one of the girl bros and the burger came out cut in half ready to share. She kept the waters fresh and our beers coming. Great stuff. Happy Hour Burger - Delish burger and amazing value for the price. Truffle Fries - Crisp with the right amount of truffle, not overbearing. After this HH experience, I'm definitely returning for a full sit-down dinner. I'm looking forward to ordering from the full menu in the near future. Cheers!

If you're looking for a trendy steakhouse on the southwest side of Vegas, Rare Society in the Uncommons is the spot. We were due for a date night, and we weren't disappointed once we entered the restaurant. Gorgeous decor, with extremely attentive staff made the experience luxurious beyond words. Since it was our first time, we went with Lamb Lollipops, Shell Mac n Cheese, Miso Carrots, Broccolini and 35day Dry Aged Ribeye sliced. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Not gonna lie, it's definitely pricey for off strip, but the ambiance and savory dishes definitely let you know it's well worth the cost.

I've been coming to their happy hour the last two weeks and it's been great! $10 cocktails including a delicious margarita, and an old-fashioned! The food on the happy hour is pretty good as well. I liked their shrimp cocktail and their tuna tartare! Happy hour is from 4-6pm! The bar is a super cool vibe and the service is always fast and friendly!

The staff, drinks, and food 10/10. The fact that the food was delicious and the ice cream was cookies and cream (my fav) without them being told. Was an absolute pleasure. We will be back anytime we're in Vegas. Loved the environment and the vibe of this place. Thank you again it was a pleasure.

Ask the Community - Rare Society

How loud is the atmosphere of this restaurant?

Not loud at all. Good enough to have a conversation without having to raise your voice.

Is the beef served here prime grade?

    Yes.

    Are they kid friendly?

Well. That depends on the kids ages and if they are disciplined enough for a nice steak dinner. I did not see and high chairs or child seats available. You'd be best to call them directly.

Is there happy hour and what time?

    Every day 4pm-6pm

    When is happy hour?

The bar seating is very limited and they were sending people over to Wineaux when we went.

What's the proper/preferred attire for this restaurant?

Like most places in Vegas, just about anything goes. There were people dressed up, business casual, and some in nice shorts. Great restaurant btw!!

His level of professionalism, attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendliness made our dining experience unforgettable. Thank you so much for serving us Brian! When it comes to steakhouses in Vegas, the competition is quite fierce due to the options. However, Bavette's Steakhouse is the most highly recommended, as determined through my research (such as on Reddit), so I had decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located inside Park MGM. Upon walking in, I felt like I was transported to a much more cozy, private restaurant. The interior decor is beautiful. We had requested a booth was seated within 15 minutes- in a very spacious booth might I say. The menu was a lot to take in, not because of too many options but because we had wanted to order everything. Thanks to Brian, he was able to help us narrow down our choices for the starters and sides. He understood every dish and what is the most popular. We received our food in a timely manner and it was so delicious! We were even provided the finishing salt mix for our steaks, which I really appreciate as most places would just give you a salt/pepper shaker. The service provided here, by Brian and the rest of the staff, are superb. We ordered the sizzling shrimp scampi, smoked salmon caesar, traditional filet mignon, classic ribeye - Chicago cut, button mushrooms and buttery mashed potatoes. Everything was beautifully cooked and not a single negative I can think of. Unfortunately, I do not live in Vegas so I cannot become a regular here. However, I will definitely come back to this restaurant again every time I do visit!

Our waiter recommended the Monte Carlo Old Fashioned since I LOVE bourbon, and I have to be honest... this drink easily made my list of one of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had! This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.

We did not originally plan on having a big meal or making a special visit. We simply wanted to sit somewhere nice, have a glass of champagne, and enjoy a quiet moment together. But once we stepped inside Smith & Wollensky, everything felt much better than expected. Sometimes the best dining experiences are the ones you do not plan too much. This was definitely one of those pleasant surprises. The atmosphere was beautiful. It had that classic American steakhouse feeling with warm lighting, sparkling glassware, and an elegant but comfortable setting. It felt upscale without being too formal, and it was the perfect place to sit with my mom and enjoy a relaxed conversation. We ordered champagne by the glass, and it was excellent. Sometimes champagne by the glass can feel a little flat or not cold enough, but this one was served very cold and the bubbles were still lively and fresh. The first sip was crisp, refreshing, and immediately made the moment feel special. My mom and I both really enjoyed it. The burrata cheese was absolutely delicious. It was soft, creamy, and fresh, with a rich but delicate flavor. When I cut into it, the texture was beautifully smooth, and the creaminess paired so well with everything else on the plate. I especially loved the fruit pairing. The brûléed orange and charred grapefruit added a bright, slightly sweet, and lightly bitter flavor that balanced the creamy burrata perfectly. The basil added freshness and brought the whole dish together. The ham served with the burrata was also excellent. Sometimes prosciutto or cured ham can be too salty and overpower the dish, but this one was not too salty at all. It had a nutty, savory flavor that went beautifully with the burrata. The creamy cheese, refreshing fruit, fresh basil, and savory ham were very well balanced. My favorite bite was with a little burrata on the crostini, some fruit, and a piece of the ham together. The crispy bread, creamy cheese, bright fruit, and savory ham all worked perfectly in one bite. We only came in for a glass of champagne, but this starter made the visit feel much more special. The service was also comfortable and professional. The staff was attentive without being overwhelming, and the pace felt relaxed. That kind of service makes a big difference, especially when you want to enjoy a nice moment without feeling rushed. This visit became a sweet memory with my mom. A cold glass of champagne with lively bubbles, delicious burrata, and ham that was savory but not too salty made the whole experience feel elegant and enjoyable. Sometimes a simple, unplanned stop turns into one of the best parts of the day. I would definitely come back again next time I am in the area. If you enjoy burrata cheese, I highly recommend this dish. We came in without high expectations, but left very impressed and very happy.
