Great place always good food and service ya won't leave Hungary the place don't open till 4 but that is ok cause ya be stuffed

We have visited this location many times and it is hit and miss but mostly hit in person. We decided to order two steak salads on Saturday night and ordered them at 6 to be ready at 7. They were not ready until 745 and the steak was cold. While we will definitely go again we will not be doing another to go order on a weekend at this location. I understand they are doing their best but it's just not good enough for $40 for two steak salads and a nice tip! read more

Service was mediocre. Went last night and our server kept trying to upsell everything. I understand she was trying to do her job but its pretty ridiculous of her to interrupt our conversation to tell us about their "giftcard promotion". Thats not what upset me the most. I order my steak medium well. They brought my steak out cooked medium. They asked if it was cooked right and if they need to cook it more. I said sure that would be great. NBD. When i got my steak back it was rubbery and it was only gone for maybe a couple minutes. I am 99% sure they MICROWAVED it. Completely ruined it. Went here early on a Friday night and the place was already busy. My girlfriend and I were able to snag 2 seats at the bar. (Bar is open seating) The bartender Ali was a rockstar I don't know how she kept up with everything but she did have Shannon helping. I ended up getting a 16 ounce prime rib with loaded baked potato and steamed vegetables. My prime rib was cooked to my liking and had a good flavor. Truly a hearty meal. Let me start out by saying that the whole experience was just slow, I ordered my ribeye medium rare and it was almost completely well done, when I asked the waitress to fix it she got all sassy and then took almost 20 minutes to bring me a new one... not to mention it so loud in there! The Restaurant of No Return. Went to a Texas Roadhouse years ago and didn't care for it. Decided to go back due to a relative working at the one in Belton, Mo. It turned out to be a big mistake. The wait turned out much longer than told. I had the bbq pulled pork which turned out to be over cooked and dry. My wife's country steak was terribly stringy and her sister's steak was very tough. We definitely won't return to this one or any other when we get so much better elsewhere. read more

I'm a regular sometimes here three times a week. I've had everything in the menu probably several times. The service is for the most part very good and the food is pretty spot on. If for any reason you do get something that comes out wrong they fix it right away and adjust your check accordingly with no hassles. They honestly are the best sit down restaurant in the local area hands down. I daydream about their fresh rolls and honey butter while I'm at work during the day. They really are that good. My favorite is the ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and bacon green beans. For something lighter their salads are amazing too. Oooh and don't forget about dessert! Their brownie sundae is sooooo good! I have recommended this place to soo many people. read more

When it opened it was a great place to go but ....has slipped downhill Used to ask if you wanted to pick out your steak Now they bring a steak that looks nothing like the great looking steaks in the case. Steaks weren't cooked right. Rolls were so doughy you couldn't even eat them. The manager didn't do anything about us having to wait 30 minutes after the rest of the table got their meal, for a steak that the cooks couldn't cook right even after the 2nd time. All of the steaks were cooked well done when asked for two medium wells and one medium rare. It was just a bad experience and no one seemed to care that it was crap. Also found metal pieces in my green beans from the brilo sponges I guess they use to clean. Yea it was in my food so... I visited this restaurant when it first opened and it was really good. However, I went again this past weekend and the service and food were just okay, but it was busy and I work in the industry so I was understanding of that. Today, I was eating leftovers and bit down on something hard in a roll, I spit it out and it was a PIECE OF GLASS about an inch in length. I don't like writing bad reviews, but this is unacceptable. We ordered our food and my wife got her salad entree and I got my entree but no salad. They had to take my entree and swap it for a salad. At the point that I was done with my salad, my wife finished her meal. They were a mess all night; on top of all this we did not get a single apology from our server. Yes! Our family of 20 decided to eat here for Mothers' Day and besides the understandable wait, everything was great!!! They accommodated us well and the food was so good! This place was packed yesterday and we didn't have to ask our waitresses for one thing. I was truly impressed. Also, halfway through our dinner all the staff stopped and danced for the entire restaurant!! I am happy we made this choice. read more

Truly wonderful is EVERY WAY! The table behind us had some major issues, and the manager was quick to respond with such genuine concern and finesse. They have picked and trained their staff well! I had a steak and it was overcooked. The service was as good as it gets. They did sit me however by the front door and it was freezing my butt off. I still love the environment and energy there. Made the first stop at the new Texas Road House in Belton last evening. Service was immediate. The menu has a nice varied selection but nothing out of the ordinary. We had the steak kabobs and they were excellent. The beer was cold as it should be. We ate for under fifty bucks which included drinks and tip. Very poor experience to the point we did not stay and went some where else to eat. They have notices of social distancing up on the front doors however they are not following it. They are attempting to seat people at table that are in the middle of the isle between two rows of booths that are not 6 feet apart. They do not ask if you wish a booth or table upon arrival and they take no consideration as to if anyone is handicapped or not. Did not realize that you had to tell them as I had surgery in Feb and my disability is temp but I do walk with a care and having to walk to the extreme other end of the building and back to find other seating is not acceptable along with being told if you do not want to sit at a table that is if not 6 feet away form other customers you have to return to the front and go back onto the wait list again for a new table to be sat at. I feel that the Management and Hostess talk very condescending to patrons who have an issue with seating and just don't care that you have already waited to be seated. read more

Love! Love! Love! Took my husband here on Veterans Day and they were busy. Thought it was going to be a long wait but only waited for 20 minuets to be seated. Our waitress was fast and friendly. She was always there to refill our drinks before they got empty and the food was delicious! A late lunch was a great idea. The restaurant wasn't too busy which is unusual. Our food and service was awesome. Our server Brittany was very attentive and got our food to us in good order. I hate when the entree arrives before you can finish your salad. That wasn't an issue. We both had the 8oz sirloin cooked to perfection, one medium well one well. Wife had ribs with hers that fell off the bone. I added grilled shrimp with drawn butter which was great. We both brought our loaded potato home, just too much to eat. read more

The rolls are amazing...and add the special butter and I'm in heaven! We started with the Cactus Blossom. Great appetizer for sure! How can you not like deep fried onions? Our waitress, Heather was really on point! She kept the drinks filled and the table cleared. I ordered the Road Kill smothered chopped steak and subbed extra onions for the mushrooms since I don't like mushrooms. No issues with the substitution. Hubby ordered the Steak tips. Place was very busy, but not chaotic. Our wait was 40 minutes, bit it was at 6:30 the second official day they were opened... Not to bad! We will be back for sure. read more

I went into this with low expectations. I had seen this restaurant many times, but had never gone in. We decided to go on Saturday at 6. I'm not sure if that had any impact on the wait time, but we were told 30-40, but ended up waiting much longer. We were a party of 9. When we were finally seated, we were given a booth and an added table which impeded the walk of waiters and patrons alike. It was uncomfortable and odd. I looked at the menu. It was one of those instances where they had a ton of options, but nothing. I ended up getting a burger. I asked for the burger and fries to be plated separately because I don't like my toppings to be cooked with the burger. As you can probably guess, that didn't happen. The food was just okay. The waiters weren't mindful of taking empty or discarded plates. Our table(s) were full. The prices were fine. Another waiter (RV?) was friendly. Ours was alright. The peanuts all over the floor (inside and out) didn't do it for me either. Looking around, I could see that a lot of people were happy with what they had. For me, a person who doesn't eat at a lot of themed restaurants, I didn't enjoy it at all and am very unlikely to return. If you enjoy cowboy boots, jeweled jeans and gallon hats, you will love it. read more

The quality of my family's experience at Texas Roadhouse on a Saturday night was less than average, and far below that of other Yelp reviewers. Our service was nice but atrocious; our food came out incomplete, out of order, and cold; and overall, left me very disappointed. Servers: Rule 1: Do not promise something you are not prepared to deliver. Be it bread, a water refill, extra ranch dressing, or the cinnamon butter you forgot to bring with that bread you finally remembered. Rule 2: Do not show up to my table chewing food and, if you do, do not open your mouth while chewing to apologize for it. I don't care what you're eating or why. Nothing is so urgent that you can't take 15 extra seconds in the kitchen to chew and swallow whatever it is before coming out to visit my table. Rule 3: Pay attention to table space. When the only space on the table is on my drink napkin because I picked up my water glass and am drinking from it, that is NOT an invitation to set a basket of hot fried pickles there. Instead, it is an invitation to remove a dirty dish or two with your free hand and VOILA!, now you have a spot on the table to set the pickle basket. Otherwise, I have to play one handed dish jockey with a glass of cold water in one hand and a basket of hot fried pickles in the other. Rule 4: Check the temperature of the food BEFORE bringing it to the table. When a medium steak is cool to the touch, that plate has been sitting in the window WAY too long. Put the steak on the flattop and warm it BEFORE serving it. And don't forget to heat up the baked potato, too. (BTW, when you warm steak on a flattop, pour a little water on it and cover it with a bowl so it steams it warm and it doesn't dry out.) The restaurant was only about 75% full when we were there, so that's no excuse. Overall, in 2 dining experiences at Texas Roadhouse they are averaging 2-1/2 stars and on a downward trend. Doesn't bode well for their long term viability. read more

We have been there twice now and both times the steak was charred on the outside and raw inside. The second time we went we had a reservation for 10 and we still waited for an hour and a half after our reserved time. They need time and experience to run a place like this and cook the food as ordered. read more

Went o TRH for my birthday. We had 12 people in my party and pretty tight seating. I ordered an Ribeye med rare and it came out well done. Because of the crowded I did mention it to my waiter and he did offer to cook another one for me I decided not to because everyone would be thru eating before I got my steak back. Waiter said he would talk to the manager and have it taken care of. No manager ever came to talk to me or offer anything so just paid the bill. I will probably go back but maybe I should order my steak rare and get it cooked right. read more

I had gone once for dinner and things were great but for lunch it was a nightmare. I ordered the potato skins appitizer. And for my meal the pulled pork sand which. The meal came but I never received an appitizer. So I starting eating my sand which. The meat was dry and stringy...it gave me a horrible stomach ache after just a few bites. So finally after 20 minutes my appitizer arrives I sent it back after waiting this long I just didn't want it. Plus my stomach was churning from this nasty sand which. While eating they tried to bring me someone else's appitizer which after the table across from me received their meals and no appitizer I realized quickly that must have been there's. They were as upset as I was. I left with a very empty and upset stomach and ended up getting sick outside. I don't plan to return during lunch ever again. I'll try dinner again. read more

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. It has great food, extremely good service, and generally a fun place to be. Their carryout is always ready in a timely manner, and the orders are never wrong. The manager makes her rounds to make sure everyone is always happy with everything. FIVE stars!! read more
