This place just opened and they are off to a terrific start. They are quite busy but managed to seat us in 20 minutes, beating the promised 25. Delicious warm rolls with honey butter arrive at the table when you do, and they are happy to bring your more if you run out. The medium rare sirloin was perfectly cooked, as was the kabob. The house salad side was served cold and crisp. The green beans were tender and nicely seasoned. Our server was sunny and energetic, checking back to be sure all was well. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I visited this Texas Roadhouse during their lunch hours on Friday. The parking lot was busy as were most areas of the restaurant, but I was still greeted and seated within 2 minutes of walking in the door. Our server server took a moment to get over to us, but once she did, she was very friendly, knew the script of what to say and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She promptly brought our drinks to us and proceeded to take our food order. She even thought ahead enough to get our appetizer order, run to the server's station, enter that order and ran back to take our food order. The blooming onion appetizer came out quickly and was freshly warm. Right about when we were slowing down on eating the appetizer, our entrees came out. All was cooked perfectly, got the temps and modifications correct and was a tasty meal. My only complaints are about the atmosphere. Yes, I know it's a Texas Roadhouse -- there will be country music loudly playing in a loud, busy restaurant. I come to expect that so it doesn't bother me. This location was newly constructed after a previous restaurant was demolished. Many tables and hallways through the restaurant are too small. Peanut buckets on every tabletop, even the tiny two person tables are a bit much. Add an appetizer, two drink, two entrees, and a bread basket, those peanuts are going overboard. The peanuts should be brought to those who ask. In the hallways, you have food and drinks being delivered while guests try to maneuver in and out and trying to get around every idle employee line dancing to every other song as I believe it may be a corporate requirement. I have been to 5 other Texas Roadhouse locations many times and I've only witnessed singing and dancing when a guest has a birthday. The dancing to every other song is something that's a little uncomfortable for guests to get in and out of the restaurant and awkward to even think about getting up and going to the restroom or leaving without thinking of a strategic time to leave where you won't get caught in the spotlight of a dance. One last complaint about the location -- I know I'm asking for the restaurant to be a little bit bigger which would eat up more space in their plot, but there isn't a lot of parking available when it is busy unless you want to walk from a bit further away. I am beyond disappointed, the steak I had gotten varied significantly from the steak I got last time here. If I pay for a 16oz steak I expect to get a 16oz steak. I had told the owner/whoever in charge and they didn't care. I'm definitely not one to post negative reviews but this is ridiculous and I'm not coming back here. read more

In the middle of the bustling Greyhound Plaza area, Texas Roadhouse was apparently a much-needed addition. On a recent visit, the place was packed. There were lots of guests waiting in the lobby area and outside. Luckily we snagged two seats at the bar and got service right away. Our bartender was awesome and made us glad we came in for a drink and watch football while we placed a to-go order. She got our names for our tab and checked in regularly throughout our visit. Our drinks were poured quickly in ice-cold mugs and our order was placed promptly. Most importantly, she offered us hot rolls while we waited. So good. Our food did take a bit longer than expected to come out. We waited probably 30 minutes. But, it was a really busy night during the holidays. She made sure our order was correct, and off we went. The food was good and hot, even by the time we got home. My only criticism would be my steak, ordered medium, didn't have much pink in the middle. I got a baked sweet potato--baked just perfectly--and broccoli and carrots that came out just the right tenderness. Parking can get a little crazy depending on how busy the surrounding stores are. Also, it can be a little tricky to get to if you are coming from the south. Be ready for crowds and loud music. read more

Literally the worst service I've experienced. I placed a Togo order to save on time. That was my first mistake. I made it to the carry out counter and had to wait 8 minutes for the server to get off the phone from taking another order. She finally was able to help me but when I asked for a military discount she paged a manger to come give me the discount. After waiting 5 minutes no manger came so she went to the back to get their card. The next problem was she didn't know what to key in so she pages for a manger to come help. Again no manger came so she had to walk to the bar area and ask the manger that was just standing their for a code or something to put in for the discount. 22 minutes later I leave with my cold Togo food. read more

We couldn't wait to visit the NEW Texas Roadhouse in Carmel/Westfield! We decided to go on December 21. I called the restaurant at 5:42 and was told it I called ahead to avoid (what I knew would be) a long wait. would be a 60-75 minute wait time. We arrived at 6:30 to avoid any problems. We were handed a pager and told it would be just 15-20 minutes longer. Well...15-20 minutes turned into almost another hour(we were seated around 7:30)! What's the point of having the call ahead feature if you aren't going to use it! Had they said that the kitchen was backed up and it would be a longer wait, I would have said fine but to quote a person one time then have them wait at least an additional hour is just ridiculous! Once we finally sat down there were more waits. On drinks and salads. So my guess is the kitchen was pretty backed up and they were having problems keeping up. We loved our meal and our server was fantastic but I think we'll return to the NW Indianapolis location until this new one is on more stable footing. read more

Very new. Very popular. Very small parking area. Very loud. Lots of variety on menu. Staffed well for the crowd they are having show up for dinner rush. Servers are all still learning. Food was prepared well and good quality for the prices. It's just what you expect for Texas Roadhouse. read more

Just not so good. The place is usually packed, which should be a good sign, but the food isn't very good. Their steaks are what would expect from a old-days Kroger, when most of their beef was Select grade. Tough beef without much flavor. I've been to this location twice, and it was the same each time, so it wasn't just that their kitchen had one off night. Besides, this is a beef quality issue. This location does a great job of carry out services. Everything is packaged very nicely and hot when you arrive. We always take a hot/cold bag with us so it stays hot until we get home. Your order is ready within a 5-7 min window of pickup time depending how busy they are. The staff that deliver the food to your car are very friendly and always wear masks. The only reason I don't give them a 5 is we have had trouble with ordering on their app and had to call in the order and you have to ask for extra cinnamon butter for your rolls. They give you about a teaspoon full of butter for 6 large dinner rolls. read more

Love this place but every time we order to-go from here we are always missing something and then have to take our whole order back inside so they can check it which adds another 20 minute wait. Food is cold by the time we get home. Got to give them some slack because I'm sure it's crazy but this is the third time it's happened in a row. read more

Great casual dinner for those wanting no-nonsense steaks, chicken and ribs. Our 35-minute wait on a Thursday night was well worth it. We were seated in a nice booth and served by the wonderful Lauren, who quickly filled our drink orders and helped us make our dinner selections. Half-price margarita was delicious and only $3! Dinners arrived quickly and piping hot. Our table ordered chicken, ribs, and steak, all prepared perfectly. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone, as described. Sides were hot and plentiful. Service was extremely attentive and we even got to chat with the manager, who offered many helpful insights. Definitely will return! read more

The service that we had at Texas Roadhouse was great! We went there for their roles which are absolutely amazing. The setting there is just great, me and my family love the peanuts. The first time I came, it was great. This past time was absolutely horrible. We were missing our sides of chili with our meal and it took about 15 minutes AFTER we received our meal to get our missing sides. The steaks were cooked wrong and it took over 30 minutes to receive new steaks. There were 2 managers sitting at the bar with their buddies rather than visiting tables. The only good thing about our visit was our server Harold. He is wonderful and super nice! But we will not be coming back. read more

Need to work on their quote times. Ordered food to go, was quoted 20 minutes, and it took 45. I understand those times are a rough estimate, but it shouldn't be that large of a discrepancy. This isn't the first time this has been an issue in the last month either. read more

Ordered Diet Coke. Was given Coke. Not a big deal to request a new beverage. Ordered a salad without egg. Received egg on it. After a long wait, I just asked for a new salad made correctly to go, so I didn't have to keep waiting. The to go salad had multiple curly black hairs in it. It's disappointing they can make time to stop and dance but can't get my order right. Now I am home, it's late and I'm hungry without my dinner. read more

Went there today for supper and ordered the family 6 and 8 oz sirloin steaks and after getting home we found we did not have any sides with our order. So we had to go back and pick them up but my main complaint was when we cut into our 8oz steaks the meat was so raw that it covered our plates with our sides in so much blood we had to throw them away. It looked as if they may have been cooked for no more then 30 seconds. Now the 6oz steaks were alright to eat. But after spending over 50 dollars and having to make two trips I will never eat at this place again. read more

Texas Roadhouse is a great addition to Westfield/Carmel. Yes, I know it's a chain but it's Texas Roadhouse. Founded in Indiana and serving made of the scratch sides with a butcher on staff for the hand cut steaks. I was a manager for the Kokomo location and fell in love with the culture and the food. This location is doing it right. It's bright, it's shiny and the staff is full of rock stars. They did choose a super strange location as a Don Pablos was here before and it failed miserably. They are also next to Charleston's (which I also love) and I feel like I am cheating a bit when I go to TR instead. Oh! On my last visit we ordered carry-out and I loved how I could choose a time for pick up. Everything was finishing up being prepared when I got there. I asked the to-go guy if I could get a few extra rolls since we couldn't figure out how to add that to our order. The dude hooked me up with a dozen! Whaaaat?!?! Homie- you are a superhero. Anyway, great place, great steaks, legendary service. Eat here now. read more

Service was amazing. Our table had to wait longer than quoted and even though we did not complain the manager still came over to apologize and offered us a free appetizer. We have always had good experience at the Fishers location so we were excited about the new location. But we won't be back, It started off taking longer than the time we were told to be seated, we understand that on a Friday night. But our biggest problem was with my husband's dinner, he ordered it medium well and when he cut into it it was on the rare side. We got the waitress attention and she agreed that it was under cooked, she took back to the kitchen and ordered a replacement. When management brought the replacement to the table and asked him to cut his meat and checked to see if it looked better. My husband cut it and told the manager it looked more rare than the first one, the manager argued with him and then tried to blame it on the lighting. He finally agreed to fix it for my husband. The third time and person brought out the meat and had him cut into it to check it. It was better than before but not the way he ordered it. Not helpful at all in regards to customer service. Went there for the second time today. First time we sat in the bar. Our service was incredible. The manager even came by to see how everything was. Today I went in with my husband and son. We ordered our son's food right away so he would get his right away. We finally got our servers attention about 15 min later to order ours. We ordered soup and salad and prime rib. So about 5 min after we order our food our soup and salad comes out. And literally 3 min later here comes the prime rib. Of course our son has none of his food and ours is getting cold while we try to eat our first course. Our waiter was basically none existent. The manager was not really helpful either. A different one then the last time. All in all it was a really disappointing dining experience today. Especially after such a wonderful one last time. read more

Seems like the only food they are good at cooking is there steaks. Not worth an $8.99 burger that I could get at McDonalds for $2!!!! read more
