Their service is awful. I called. They said 15 minutes and then said it was a one hour.

Far too slow on pickup orders. The website quotes a time but they're unable to meet this estimate.

This used to be a great location. But last month and this month, (Aug 2025) I've waited for over 30 minutes passed my suggested pickup time for my takeout order to be ready. The parking lot used to always be full too but lately it's half that, so I think others have noticed the decline too. I talked with someone else waiting outside with me and she was working on an hour passed suggested pickup time. Update. After waiting for 35 minutes I asked if it was ready and it had been sitting there for who knows how long. Again, that's the second time in two months. I know it's not me because I got the initial text messages, texted "here", and then never received a "ready" one. Last update cause it's just funny at this point. Forget to check the bag before I left because I was in a hurry to get home and eat before it got even colder, and they forgot the ribs. read more

Oh my....That is some really nasty stuff right there. As me and my wife were waiting to be sat in the On Deck I looked in the kitchen and the floor was extremely wet. A waitress dropped a container of Ranch on the floor. It landed on its Top the part you open. She did not even get a tag and wipe it off, nope just took it to the customers table and sat it there. I thought of leaving but hungry so we went ahead and got sat, Then as we are eating those delicious rolls waiting on our steaks my Wife grabbed a second roll and cut it in half buttered it and sat it on the plate, When she picked it up ,what you see in the picture is what was on the plate. 1 min later the steaks and pork chop show up and they were delicious.When the Manager was doing rounds she ask us and I told her and showed her the plate and the hair. All she said was O dear you don't want that do you and carried the plate away. We were here several months ago and noticed how really really dirty this place is in the light. My sister took me here for my birthday yesterday. Considering how packed the parking lot was, I was sure we'd be waiting for a long time (it being a Friday night), but we were seated right away. I thought "Okay, that was great.. but we'll probably wait forever get served". Wrong! Our server came immediately -- and we got our food in record time! I ordered the 8 oz sirloin (medium), a baked potato, and a side salad.. and OMG, was it ever good! The steak was cooked to perfection and quite tasty.. the side salad was huge, and even included egg and plump grape tomatoes (no scrimping on ingredients here).. and we got rolls that must have just come out of the oven because they were still warm, and very light and delicate. I don't understand why the overall ratings aren't higher. This Texas Roadhouse is at the top of my list now, of restaurants to go to. Our dining experience could not have been better! Oh wait, there is one thing I would change.. the volume of the music. Music that accompanies food should always be background, not foreground music.. so that you can have a conversation. Conversation is, to me, much more important than whatever music selection the restaurant provides. I'm not there for the music -- I'm there for the food and the company. .. Not a huge chain fan, but I always make an exception with Texas RH. Loved the warm soft buns with the cinnamon butter. Service is always great and you don't need to ask for extra buns or extra coke or whatever drink you are having; exceptional service. My Porkchop was tasteful and well cooked. I've been to restaurants alllll over this world and have never had an experience like this before. This place is so dark....Please find my letter below: I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a distressing experience that occurred during our family's regular visit to your Reynoldsburg location on April 9, 2025. My family and I have dined at your restaurant every Wednesday without issue for quite some time -- it has become a cherished tradition for us. On this particular visit, my 13-year-old daughter, who is autistic and has a documented disability, attempted to order a kids meal as she has always done. It is important to note that my daughter has unique sensory needs and a very specific comfort with certain meals -- this is not a matter of cost, but a matter of accommodation for her disability. As she is unable to order for herself, I placed the order for her, as I always do. The waitress, Joy, flatly denied the order, stating that my daughter was not allowed to order from the kids menu. While I initially expressed calm concern and attempted to explain the nature of my daughter's disability, the waitress became visibly irritated and unaccommodating. Matters escalated when she sent a manager to our table -- a red-haired woman whose name I unfortunately did not receive -- who approached us in an openly hostile and confrontational manner. Rather than handle the matter with empathy or professionalism, this manager embarrassed my daughter publicly by demanding, "Well how old is your daughter? Is she older than 12?" in front of a busy dining room. The tone was accusatory, demeaning, and completely lacking in compassion or discretion. My daughter, humiliated and upset, was unable to eat her meal, which we ultimately had to throw away. Let me be extremely clear: this was not simply a customer service issue -- this was a direct violation of our daughter's dignity and rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). As a family of attorneys, we are currently exploring legal action in partnership with ADA counsel due to the discriminatory and inappropriate handling of this situation. We are also preparing to share this experience with relevant disability rights advocates and local organizations that champion inclusion and respect. We are not seeking an apology for the sake of formality -- we are seeking accountability, awareness, and a change in policy or training that ensures this kind of situation never happens to another disabled child or family again. We request a prompt written response to this matter and details of any steps you will take to address this unacceptable conduct. One person is hard of hearing and ordered buffalo wings, which she could not eat since they were too hot and was due to the very loud music. This was the most disgusting food I have ever had . I ordered the sampler patter. The fried pickles were so salty my blood pressure went up. The boneless wings were chopped up breast with a nasty sauce . The potato skins were just flat skins with nasty cheese and bacon bits. I told the waitress it was inedible , she said really and walked away. The drink menu had no prices and the waitress didn't know how much any thing cost. I left the entire plate . Then the waitress offered me a to go box . I told her I didn't want it . She told me to pay by some contraption on the table that took forever to work . I will never be back . We got our drinks, ordered our food, waited an hour when it wasn't busy at all. We had asked for regular butter and plastic utensils that we never received. I asked another server for the utensils and she brought them immediately after finishing what she was doing. They literally served my sister raw chicken (not the servers fault), charged my card for my meal, I even checked my bank to confirm that the payment had cleared and everything, then they tried to say it didn't go through lol. The sad part for alot of businesses today is that they are under-staffed. I think this is the case for them. The steak over a flame tastes great. The price is competitive. The seating here is outdated by far. It's always a ton of customers here so the place is small. if you are in a big group or large family you won't like it. With that said I give them a 4 star for the steak but they lose a star due to being out-dated. I didn't grade on service because I know they are looking for staff and are doing their best. read more

Since we are considering all three areas, I have it a four. If we were just considering the hostess and initial experience, I would give it a one, since you can't give halves. Upon arrival we were not greeted, we were rather ignored. We had checked in on the waitlist, with a 5-15 minute wait. Once we walked in, we were told there was at least another 15 minute wait. The hostess was too busy playing on her phone to be concerned with customers. Finally, after being told twice someone was cleaning a table for us, we were seated 10 minutes later. Although I ordered light dressing, the food runner brought me a Caesar salad SOUP. The replacement was no effort, since it was naked with dressing on the side. My burger was cooked perfect medium. This place is dangerous! Had my steak came with shrimp that I did not order. Waiter instructed me to give to someone else. I told him that did not work due to allergy and he took back to kitchen. Five minutes later same steak minus shrimp came to table. I could tell by the hole left from shrimp skewer. Manager came to table to see what the problem was and announced he was taking my steak off the bill. I hate when that do this. He was very unconcerned about almost literally killing me...no exaggeration here. And aging reiterated he was taking off our bill to which I refused...it always seems like a trite way of solving a much bigger problem. He was rude at this point...at the 25 minute mark of waiting for my steak and family done with theirs I had the order cancelled. I am almost sure it was his decision to send the same steak out to me...just something I picked up from staff. He, in my opinion, could care less about the magnitude of this circumstance. We went for Mother's Day. There was 3 of us, all 3 steaks were cooked incorrectly. The order was 1 medium, it was rare, the 2 others were ordered medium well. One of them was rare and the other was well leather! The waitress offered to replace them but her manager wouldn't allow her to do that. He made her return the 2 rare to the kitchen to be cooked longer and they did cook another one for the well done one. I told the manager that I didn't like returning them to the kitchen because I didn't trust what the kitchen staff would do them. He said he would take some money off the check, he did not do that. Also it took another half hour for the new steak to come out. As soon as the new steak came out we got boxes and asked for the check. So basically our dogs got steak for dinner. Not one of us had steak for dinner. We paid over $80 for baked potatoes and salad! Never going back to that Roadhouse! The manager sucks! He didn't make it right at all. I felt so bad for my mom. We were hungry when we arrived and have been kept waiting 2-3 times as long as we were told. They're "still waiting on the table." We go to leave, and receive "table ready" text as we get to car. Go back in, told it will just be a couple minutes. Tell them to forget it, and leave. Proceed to Grove city location. Seated and served immediately. It's not hard, Reynoldsburg. Busy busy busy! Whether it's a weekday night or a weekend night, the parking lot seems to always be full. For a small table of 2-4 the wait is usually never unbearable. Staff is pretty friendly, hosts/hostesses and waiters alike. Food is ALWAYS on point. Steak is always cooked to asking and sides are fresh and hot. As often as I have visited this location, I am waiting for a time when my steak is not cooked perfectly but have not yet experienced it. I really enjoy coming to this restaurant. The staff is always super nice and attentive. This time, I got the Jamaican Cowboy Frozen Drink(about $9) and the Frozen Mango Margarita(about $9) ,6oz hand cut sirloin with corn and a loaded baked potato ($12.99). The drinks were delicious and gave me a good buzz. The food was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The restrooms are also super clean here. I will be back. read more

I'm always a fan on Texas Roadhouse, but it was the first time at this location. We ordered an onion, which came out cold, they took it back and promptly gave us another. I ordered the ribeye medium, with Mashed potatoes and a side salad. Everything came out as it should have. Service was a bit slow as I had to ask for beverage refills several times. This location was not very busy, it was a Sunday as well. Overall, an Ok experience, If I had my choice I would go to a different location. read more

On November 20, 2024 I went to The New Albany Texas Roadhouse. My family and I got there about 6:30pm. I ordered a 16 ounce Prime Rib, my wife ordered barbecue chicken and steak, finally my daughter ordered chicken fingers and fries. After waiting for 45 minutes after ordering the food our waitress told me that the restaurant was out of prime rib. I was very disappointed because I should've been told that when I first ordered the food. However, I asked the waitress to speak with the manager whose name was ShannonWhen she came to our table she said, whats wrong. She knew what was wrong, she said that she told the waitress to tell me that the restaurant was out of prime rib. She told me some excuses that didn't have anything to do with me. She asked if I wanted something else and I asked her for a 20 ounce ribeye. She didn't say anything about a discount or comping the cost of my meal for the way I was inconvenienced. I was very uncomfortable that after my family received their food I was waiting for 15 minutes. This was unacceptable and her customer service was beyond horrible. I asked for her name and the name of the general manager. She provided me the information and said the general manager's name was in front of the door. In addition to my catatonic restaurant experience my daughter sent her food back and it was deducted from my bill also my wifes steak was not prepared properly. A very poor experience. But instead she goes and tells the hostess that i was complaining about her. Arricka our waitress was ok a little annoying, and slow but she is still learning. My food wasn't cooked the way I ordered it (should have took pictures) my steak, mushrooms and onions was very burnt, baked potato was ice cold. Manager finally came took our food back wanted over a hour for fresh hot food. Asked for the owner was told" that he was to busy to come out and talk". On June 5th we tried to order online at 9:02pm. The order would not process online, so we tried calling the restaurant to place a to go order and waited in the phone queue during the 18 minute drive to the restaurant to place a to go order. They never answered the phone. Apparently because they close at 10:00pm and there is a 1 hour cutoff for online ordering, we missed the cutoff by a few minutes to order online. Once we got inside the restaurant we were told that the host stand could not take orders after 9:30 PM. We informed the hostess that it was 9:26 PM and she said she still could not help us. We would have to go to the bartender to order. We placed our to go order with the bartender, and she was very helpful, the only bright spot in this whole ordeal. Kudos to her. We ordered a salmon dinner, 3 orders of sliders, a cactus blossom, and an order of steak tips. At 10:00pm we only had the salmon and sliders, they forgot our fries. After the fries came out we realized that we were also missing the steak tips. 10 minutes later the "manager," who was sitting at a table in the bar area doing paperwork during most of this ordeal, came out from the kitchen and asked if we still wanted the steak tips. We told her of course, because we already paid for them. We finally left the restaurant at 10:20pm. Do not waste your time with this poorly run restaurant!! After reading other reviews, which we should have done before ordering, it's no wonder we couldn't get through because they never answer the phone, as reported by many, many people. The "manager," I think her name was April, who we believe is more a shift lead was clearly over her head and didn't have the experience or training to handle a situation like this. 3 of the 4 people in our group work in the foodservice industry and we were shocked by what we witnessed and went through just to patronize this location. I was visiting this area and ordered curbside takeout online from this location. Two different hostesses literally ignored me and served the cars behind us. When I called the restaurant, they said they would bring my food out when "THEY were ready". The person on the phone was rude and unsympathetic as two more hostesses ignored us literally sitting at the curbside pickup. When they finally brought our food, they offered no apologies, forgot one of the sides to one of my meals, and literally dunked croutons in my container of salad dressing (after I specifically asked for no croutons in my salad). I usually enjoy this restaurant and typically go to the one near my house. How I was treated at this particular location was appalling. UPDATE: After leaving a few messages with corporate, I finally got a call back from the "manager" of this location. After fully explaining the situation to him, he continued to make excuses for the rudeness and poor service and was rather condescending himself. When I asked him to stop making excuses for the overt unprofessionalism of his employees, he said, "I'm sorry you feel that way" and hung up the phone in my ear.
