We were told our table was ready. They walked us to our table only to turn around and walk us back because it was cleaned off. Ended up moving us to another table. Go to the table and asked if we could get silverware because none were on the table. Was told sure as she walked away. Thirty minutes came back for our drink order. Asked again for silverware was told sure and walked away. Came back with drinks after 40 minutes and still no silverware. Said she would be right back to take our order. After twenty more minutes we got up and left. Horrible ended up going to Cheddars. read more

Very disappointed in this establishment. Went to the restroom, four waitresses were standing in the bathroom vaping. One of them was named Macie as i later found out when she very rudely brought our salads to our table. She slammed our plates down without a word and as she was walking off i tried to get her attention as we didn't have any silverware. She said she would let our server know and rolled her eyes. I saw two roaches in the bathroom, and ANOTHER ONE crawled across our table during our meal!!!! We asked our server (who basically disappeared after getting our drinks) for the manager. We took my dad here for his birthday last week because, he loves eating at the one they have up north. The place was packed for a Tuesday night but we were sat within 20min. We were greeter with their amazing rolls and our order was taken right away. My husband and I had their chicken fried chicken and it was so good I ate the entire thing. I'm a huge fan of Mias table CFC but I think Texas Roadhouae just stole my heart. My dad had a sirloin and shrimp and ranted and raves about it. We had a wonderful experience with wonderful service. I ordered a house Margarita on the rocks with salt which arrived late to the table, after my husbands drink was already delivered. When I tried my drink, it was watery and had almost no salt on the rim. I asked for it to be changed, but the manager said it had been on the table for 40 min and she could no change it. I was at the table for 40 min so the drink wasn't there that long, plus it had arrived late to the table! She offered to take the ice out of my drink which already tasted like watery lemonade with no alcohol in it, and refused to change it! I ordered a new drink cause this is not about the $7.25 that the drink costs but her customer service skills and the bar's service. Plus the mash potatoes had half a whole potato in it! Food and service were great. They were very busy on this Sunday and would not allow you inside to wait. There was a covered outdoor area so we stood in the corner waiting as it was very hot outside. We were told that the covered area was only for pick up orders and that we would need to stand outside in the full on sun. When I asked why, I was told social distancing but we were way past 6 feet away and very few were even getting to go orders and they walked up and then left. I told the manager that this was a lot more than the state requirement and I said that I guess we could go somewhere else for lunch. To my amazement, she said sure you can leave! Rachel is the absolute best waitress I've had at any restaurant for a very long time. She really loves her job and she's SO NICE! She didn't say no to anything and made us feel very welcomed. This was the first time we had eaten at this location in Conroe, TX. While TR is one of our favorite go-to restaurants, something was just "off" with these folks tonight. Each of us ordered ribeyes and each ribeye was cooked as we ordered, but still didn't taste very flavorful as we are used to. While we didn't really enjoy the food this time, the atmosphere was lively and the family we ate with was enjoyable. I recently ate at the restaurant on I 45 in Conroe. I called ahead so I never really had to wait for a table that evening. Our waitress was very nice we had great service and our steaks were cooked excellently. I recommend getting the mushrooms and onions on your steak if you like those. I enjoyed their salad because they use real bleu cheese if you'd like that. Both meals came out exactly as ordered. For a chain steakhouse you can get as good a ribeye steak here as anywhere on a big name steakhouse. I think the rolls and the butter speak for themselves here. Remember to go earlier call ahead. I had their ribs here, but the star had to be the ribeye steak. That thing was ginormous. I've never tasted a steak so juicy. It was steak heaven. There are peanuts all over the floor and they give out free peanuts for people to snack on. It's like their concept. That said, anybody with peanuts or nut allergy should not come near this place because there's peanut everywhere as far as the eye can see. The service was pretty good. I don't even want to give this place one star. It was a birthday turned into a nightmare. Even though we waited for an hour (which was fine since it was a Saturday night) they seated us at the outside dining area and never asked if it was ok (which was also not a big issue, but my boyfriends father is deaf in one ear and prefers to not hear the roadside noise from outside seating.) Our server came and asked us what we wanted to drink and gave us watered down sprite and a Dr. Pepper that seemed like it was sitting out for awhile. The drinks were replaced, but the servers wouldn't pickup the old drinks so now we have a small table with about 8 drinks on the table. The server got our orders and which included one appetizer and four entrees. 40 minutes later the server keeps passing us and never said a word with our empty drinks and finally said "did u want more -drinks here-?" (If our drinks our empty for a while I would've thought it's common sense to go ahead and refill them) After another 5 minutes our server then proceeds to ask if anyone brought out our appetizer to which we responded no. Our server came back shortly after with our rattlesnake bites which were extremely hard and cold. We got our appetizer and cleaned our table so she could pick our food from the side but she just kept ignoring it (looked at the plates) and would walk past. After 50minutes of waiting our server came to inform us that a manager was supposed to come by and tell us that they didn't have prime rib (which is what my boyfriends mom ordered). At this point we couldn't believe how awful the communication in the back had to of been for us to be dealing with this.The endless problems with this dinner continued when we found an extremely long hair in our salad but even then we never made a big deal out of it. We asked that the food to come out all at the same time but that did not happen as my food, my boyfriends food, and his mother (which makes zero sense considering she reordered) came out without his fathers. The porterhouse steak ordered was so far past well done I wasn't sure if I was looking at a piece of leather or a piece of steak. The fillet medallions were redder than ketchup inside and extremely cold. We had a missing side dish with an entree and never received the extra drink we asked for. Our server that took over after we requested a new one was very nice and empathetic with our situation and is the only one that provided quality service. Almost our entire bill was free where it was originally 110~ I'm happy they didn't make us pay for our food, but this was an absolute waste of time considering we also drove 80 miles to meet my boyfriends family halfway. Until management makes changes I would absolutely not recommend this specific Texas Roadhouse to ANYONE. read more

What a great meal - in every way! We went for Wild West Wednesdays (Wednesday's, naturally) from opening til closing. We were so happy we did! Wednesday's you can get a 11 oz Sirloin for $10.99 and two sides. The other diner had grilled pork chops and two sides for $9.49. I am very picky about my steak being rare to medium rare. It's so easy to get a steak that is more medium rare/medium. I have a lot of sympathy for the staff, but I really enjoy a steak that is silky, tender, red and warm. Our waitress, Sabrina was great! She really wanted information to ensure it was perfect. She brought out a beautiful, tender steak - that was a bit cool to the touch. No problem, they took the steak back and "Philadelphia'd" it. The manager explained the procedure they use to get a bit of char on the top. I somehow never knew this procedure, and appreciated the care. Not only did they not make me feel bad for being a bit picky, the manager sent out a side of corn for my "wait". That's going above and beyond! Thanks! The grilled pork chop was outstanding as well. There was a great side order menu to choose from. Very crisp salad, fluffy potatoes, as well as many other tempting offers. We added marinated mushrooms that were just as we wanted. There are always peanuts to shell at your table. Surprisingly, their rolls with honey butter are right up at the top with everything else they serve. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, family friendly as well as a good place to go for watching sports and having a beer or cocktail. If you don't mind spending a few extra dollars, the Dallas Filet is sooo good! If you missed Wednesday's special, no prob, they have early specials for $9.49 every day. I see they are now offering reservations online, so I will try that next time, especially on weekends. read more

Parking lot was packed-so most people know when the parking lot is filled, prepare to wait. We walked in about 9pm-no wait at all. We weren't asked if we wanted to choose our steak, small oversight but something that should always be offered. We were seated and promptly attended to by our server. My wife had the BBQ chicken and I had the herb crusted chicken... When I tell you that this Herb Crusted chicken was the best chicken I've had in a few years, that honestly doesn't do it justice. My daughters plate had raw meat when requested well done then my plate also had raw meat and I requested well done whenever the plate was brought back it was the same meat that was given to them to get fixed and the steak was disgusting! I asked to speak to a manager about this and return the food and was only given a $10 discount no way will I ever come back here again the manager sucked the employee sucked everything about it sucked!
