I am so disappointed in the service we had . I call in our order and my husband went to pick it up. He was there a couple minutes early, so he waited, called the number to let the people know he was there. No one anwsered. I called from home to let them he was there and waiting in spot I. He waited 20 - 25 minutes. Someone answered, I told her my husband was there and she told me to wait a minute. I waited about 30 minutes. A man pick up the phone, I told him what I was waiting on, he said just a minute. I hung up and call my husband back. He had to go in to get our food. I believe they should just tell you to come to window instead of having you park and wait on you food. We see now they are not going to bring it to you. We went there becauese their ad said they would bring your order to you. My husband had a stroke and is using a caning to walk since he can not walk very good. We to restaurant in Decatur Al., first of all salad was brought out with no silverware on table and last nights lettuce stuck to plate! My husband is a much more tolerant person than most! I love Texas Roadhouse but the music is just too loud. Upper 70 and mid 80 decibel. People are here to eat and talk, this is not a nightclub. I came to eat but left and no I did not ask them to turn down the music. I will come back another day and hope the sound level is more conducive to normal conversation. Went to OCharley's and the music was lower 70 to mid 65 decibels. A lot more comfortable but would have rather ate at TR. 2 days after post I went to Chili's. Music no higher than 70 dbl. read more

HAIR IN MASHED POTATOES AND NO MANAGER EVER CAME UP. We got seated right away, the table felt gross, the dishes that came with rolls were dirty so we couldn't use any of the 4 brought to us, our silver ware was gross and napkins looked as is they weren't cleaned. We still looked over all that and ordered food. Our food came out on dirty dishes, fries were so salty we couldn't eat them as well chicken fingers, THERE WAS HAIR IN MASHED POTATOES. Asked to speak to a manager, we never saw him or her walking around or anything, we were told that the manager took 20$ off but was too busy to come out and was gonna be told everything. Also our waitress looked at my moms plate and said yeah I wondered why you only had your steak, when my mom asked for her sweet potato. The only other thing that the "manager said" was she wanted my mom to have her sweet potato. Horrible service and highly disappointed. For texas roadhouse they really weren't that busy. read more

We went to this restaurant on Father's Day. Needless to say it was real busy with a lot of people waiting both inside and outside. Since there were only two of us we were immediately seated at one of the two person tables. We had to remove the extras from the table (the Peanut buckets, menu stuffers, etc.) and placed them on the seat beside us, to make room for our food dishes. Not the best seating arrangement but it sure beats having to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seated. The staff was on top of everything. They had plenty of wait staff to cover the large crowd. Our particular waiter (Daniel) was very efficient. He kept coming by our table to see if we needed anything. He deserved, earned and received a good tip for his excellent service. The food was excellent. I had a 8oz Sirloin, cooked medium with a house salad with bleu cheese dressing and a baked potato. My wife had the catfish platter with a baked sweet potato and the vegetable of the day. There was so much food she had to get a carry out. Outback used to be my favorite place to get a good steak but their quality has gone down in recent years. We then changed to Western Sizzlin but they began focusing on the Buffet side and the quality of their steaks declined. Next, we tried Logan's but again, their focus is on other menu items and their steak has declined in value and taste. It looks like Texas Roadhouse is my new favorite restaurant for a good great tasting steak with the trimmings. I live near Chattanooga, TN and thankfully there is a Texas Roadhouse in Chattanooga. My husband wanted to eat here for lunch on Sunday. Wasn't that busy when we first arrived around 11:45 am. Ordered drinks while looking over menu. 11:50 ordered 2 cheeseburger plates. Food did not arrive to our table until 12:30. 12:31, we realize food is not edible. Our burgers were burnt. Looked like charcoal briquettes. My bun looked like it had been stepped on. After two bites I threw the burger down on my plate and said it was hard and burnt. His was same. Told waitress food was horrible. She went to get manager. 12:40, still waiting for manager, ask another waitress for manager and she says she will tell her. 12:45, waitress asks have we seen manager. No, we haven't. She goes to tell her again. 12:51, waitress comes back. We ask again for manager. Then, I get up to go find her myself. She was behind desk at front door where they greet people to seat them. Another waitress pointed her out when I asked who was manager. Totally ignored me while I was telling her about our food. Which, of course, did not help matters. She must have heard some of it because she turned to someone and told her to get another person to talk to us. Would not listen to our complaints. Very disrespectful way to treat a customer. In the end, did not pay, was told food should not have come out of kitchen like that. The waitress being nice and helpful was only good thing about whole experience. read more

Used to be good but in the past year, is terrible. The last three times I've gone they only cook a steak extremely rare ( even if you order it medium) If you send it back, it is returned burned. Went for my nieces birthday tonight ... Beer was cold appetizer was pretty good and the steak was edible but bland until added a1 and ketchup. The waitress was beginning to annoy me with her hovering ( If I say I need a few minutes I need a few minutes, You do not have to stand over my shoulder.) When my sister called to reserve an area for 16 people they did not tell her that they could not accommodate that many. So I could not see my daughters plate. Not sure how much my daughter ate since the waitress asked the 6 yr old if she was done with her plate. Just another fast food steak place at least steak out has flavor though... Service started out perfect, but then our waitress ended up with a massive party and we took back seat. We had to ask multiple times for the same thing. Multiple times for drink refills and only got one. I ordered the prime rib and it was practically a $16 piece of beef jerky but never saw her again to send it back, potatoes were cold. Try call ahead seating" When we arrived at 7:30 on Tuesday night with grandkids in tow (10 total) we were told we would have to wait for some other patrons to leave so they could seat us at those tables. Let me start off by saying that I'm a Texas Roadhouse fan. I travel for work all the time and when I don't know where to eat, I can always trust a Texas Roadhouse no matter where it's at. I've also eaten at this location several times over the last few years. Now on to my visit on 11/17/19. I ordered what I pretty much order every time...12 ounce ribeye with a couple of sides. As always, the sides were great. But the ribeye... YUCK! I asked for it to be medium and charred on both sides. This thing came out and was a thin, very well done, extremely salty piece of meat. It was bad. I didn't even eat it all. I never send food back but I really wanted to. When the bartender asked how my food was I looked at her and said "ehhh". And she just said "ok just let me know if you need anything". It sucked. Bottom line. The only reason for 2 stars is the sides and I'm not even sure it deserves that. If this wasn't paid for by my company then I would've for sure sent it back. Maybe it was just a bad steak that they had lying around or maybe this place has recently earned its 2 star rating, but highly unlikely I'll be back to this one. read more

This was our first visit to THIS roadhouse. It was packed. They were understaffed. Our appetizer took 26 minutes. Wife got smothered chicken. It came with a pile of onions: no cheese and no mushrooms. We highlighted the mistake. They took it back and threw cheese on top and heated the entire plate on microwave. Now sour cream is melted into potato. They return and wife asked where mushrooms are. Manager says, "we are out of mushrooms". Poorly managed place. Food was late and incorrect. Communication was pitiful. Highlight was our waitress: "Victoria". I do not recommend this place unless you have an hour to waste getting food not as described in menu. read more

I love Texas Roadhouse, but not this location. We are visiting from other state, and went here on my recommendation because I love this chain. First, our table was paged and when we arrived, was not cleaned off or bused. When it was, the seats were wiped down with a wet towel and still had food on it, and the host made no effort to correct it. The table still had ketchup on it. We had no silverware to put butter on our rolls, and we asked our server if WE could have some silverware. He brought one roll of silverware. We took a little bit to order drinks, but he did not take our food order with our drinks when we decided. When our salads came out, we asked him again and he said there was no silverware rolled. On a Saturday night. Our food took over 30 minutes to get out. I was asked how I wanted my steak twice even though I'd clearly said medium well the first time. He didn't even bring out our food, another server did. One of my sides didn't come out and I had to ask for it. Very disappointed in this location, and it's clear from other reviews that the place is not managed well, which explains the lack of staff caring about the customer. read more

We stopped in for supper and sat at the bar. Waitress took our drink orders and delivered promptly. She then took our dinner order and an hour later we did not have food. After everyone around us ( who came in after us) had their food, she decided she might need to check. She came back and laughed and said, ""They fixed your food to go and it's sitting back there" . After 5 more minutes she said she would go back again. She came out with our food that was so cold it would not melt the butter on the potatoes and the fat had congealed on the steak. Her offer was to put it back in To Go boxes!! She summoned her manager who did nothing but removed the food charges. Our steaks were wayyyyy over cooked.. ruined our entire meal, but the Ice Cold Beers made it bearable.. The service was great,, Malloree got everything we needed before we even had to ask for it. Is a 0 star possible? Drove 20 minutes from my hotel. Walked in at 845p...closes at 930. No one greeted me up front so I just went to seat myself at the bar. No one working at the bar. Finally a lady came over, wiped off the bar and asked me if I knew what I wanted. I said no, can I get a menu...is it too late to order food. She replied...you got here just in time. Great, let me take a quick look. She left the bar area, came back after about 5 minutes and went straight to her phone, started texting someone, never came over to ask me if she could take my order. After texting what appeared 2 other times with her back to me, I put my menu down on the bar and went to the hostess stand where again there was no one. Behind the hostess stand were 2 girls sitting on the floor texting. I said is your manager here? She yelled back to the kitchen asking someone if the manager was here. Someone yelled back no. I left. So I went there 10/12/18 , my family and I wanted dinner. We are seated and our waiter comes he is new by the way so no big deal! He was trying hard but would have to step away and go get help with most if our questions.we had to ask for straws repeatedly. We order our food and when it came my steak was way undercooked. So my waiter was no where to be found so I asked a lady for help , azz he said let me find your waiter comes back and says its gonna be a minute I cant find him at the moment. Well another waitress passing by , I waved her down she politely took my steak left my baked potato ( said that would send another potato out with my precooked steak) which they did not and my steak was sent back 2 more times before a manager finally came out ( she was extremely nice) she said they would take my steak off the ticket and recook my steak n potato. My family had already eaten by the way..Well when it was time to pay the waiter was having a hard time with our ticket. Then once he got it figured out he runs my card comes back says its declined..then ge walks back off with my debit card runs the card and says the card machine is down it will be a minute..we got there at 430 didnt get to leave until 7pm because of all this! Then to top it off my card is charged 2x!!! Now I know that it takes 48 hours for a charge to drop off in that situation but it's been almost 5 days I've called every day and they take my number claim they will call me back and NEVER DO!! so I'm calling twice a day now!! The steaks at Texas Roadhouse are excellent. The service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is a little noisy, especially during the staff line dances, but that is what a roadhouse is all about. My wife and I eat at the Decatur, AL, at least once a week, and we are in our 60s. read more

We have eaten at another roadhouse restaurant and didn't have a good experience; so we were a little trepidatious about trying it again. Let me just say we were very happy we gave it another shot. Before I comment on the food I want to give a huge shoutout to Kevin and Cindy, our servers. They were great. Kevin seemed to be very knowledgeable about the menu items and his personality was so awesome. Cindy was training and I believe she was with the best trainer tonight. If she follows in his footsteps and keeps her sweet smile, she will be a great server. Now onto the food... OH MAH LAWD!!! SO. FREAKIN. DELICIOUS!!! The steak was perfection... it just melted in our mouths... the shrimp was awesome... the potatoes were real... the tea was the best... I'm so full my brain can't think of any more descriptive words. Usually the food is incredible! This past Monday after ordering a steak done medium, it came out well. The server came by and said is everything wonderful. We told him and showed him the steaks and he agreed they weren't done right. He asked if we wanted them remade but we declined the offer. Date night with wife. We felt like steak and salad and tried Texas roadhouse. Mistake. They were very busy. We only had to wait a few minutes. We both ordered 12 ounce ribeyes and salad. My steak came out in 2 pieces and was only grilled on one side. My wifes steak looked normal. Both steaks tasted funny, artificial. We came in at exactly 9:18 so not too late. Our server Samantha seemed pleasant enough. We waited for a longer than normal time to be greeted but no biggie. Once we were greeted we had our complete meal picked out and gave it to our server. My husband never received the appetizer he ordered. She never checked back on us prior to our entree coming out to see if we wanted a second drink which we did until we waited. Once our entree came out my husband came out and the server stated mines was getting recooked b/c it was servible. It came out and I did not enjoy the salmon at all, so I had two bites and decided to just not eat it. Our server did offer to get me something different, but by this point I was over the whole experience. First we were visiting from out of town and wanted a nice quick last minute meal for my husband birthday. I being a restaurant manager know that mistakes happen we forget things, but tonight was not a great experience for us. This was on 7-4-2018 around 7:00 pm and was not busy.... My family and I called ahead of time so they would have a table ready, well we had to wait anyway. Then they wanted to seat five adults at a bench seat two of us are disabled and it's very hard to get in and out from a bench seat (no one was in the room where we were) so we ask could we pull two tables together, the person seating us looked blank when we ask so we ask again and he said yes. We pulled two tables together and as we started to sit down the manager rushing in the and started moving the tables back and said "No you can not do that" I said do what? she said keep the tables there so I ask why and she said "you just can not" while trying to seat us at a bench. I said never mind and we left and went to Longhorn just down the road and got great service. I will call the main manager tomorrow and let them know about this.
