We had visitors from Germany and since they did not have an ID on them they did not serve beer. We understand the policy but that's what management is for to make a prudent judgement given certain situations. Went and had dinner here for my son's birthday. We were a party of 7. We had my two grand daughters with us who are under 2 years of age. The wait time was minimal which was fantastic to say the least seeing that it was a busy Sunday night at 630pm. Our server was fantastic and attentive to our table. Food was great, atmosphere was inviting and warm for my taste. We all enjoyed our meals and will be back for sure. Great service and great food. This restaurant is usually a great place to eat, but I have noticed if they are extremely busy they seem to just fall a part! Took my mother-in-law on Sunday for her birthday dinner. The server was extremely nice and took our order quickly. Everything was going well until we received our food. My wife order a filet and received a sirloin. I order a 16oz ribeye and received the 10. I understand mistakes occur but it was the reaction of the manager that pissed me off. No apology for giving my wife the wrong steak and when I told her my steak is the wrong size, she gave even more attitude. They brought out new steaks that we asked to cook to medium-rare to medium. They were raw. We asked for a new manager who had the steaks brought up to temp. This is the second or third time we had a not so great experience at this location. We will be taking our business to the Cumming location in the future. read more

Great atmosphere and setting. Steaks are at best average, and I don't understand others raving about them. Other dishes like pork chops are good. I am not a fan of their wings, but I favor traditional crispy fried Buffalo wings. Young inexperienced wait staff, seems like their first job after McD's. Great deals on steaks. The food is usually very good. Cooked well, and served hot. Service is generally good if not harried. I think for peak times, they should probably give the servers smaller stations, so they aren't spread as thin. Any time I've been there during a dinner service, the servers are being run ragged. That's the first of several manager/management issues: The window at the front, where you can view the steaks, is in dire need of a thorough, deep and highly detailed cleaning, as there is encrusted grease all the way around. And the manager can argue all (s)he wants, but that type of filth builds up neither over night nor over a course of a week. It's just gross and makes everyone coming in second guess their choice. The bathrooms are a horror show. Last time I was there, I had to immediately go purchase a new pair of shoes and pants, and throw away my old ones, because there was so much piss on the floor the cuff of my pants leg got soaked. The equipment at the bar doesn't look as if it is being properly maintained or sanitized, either. It could very well be four or five stars, but until those issues are addressed, it's just gross. read more

Today, my family and I went to the Gainesville, GA restaurant. I am legally blind and have a seizure disorder due to a rare brain condition. I am accompanied by my Service Dog who keeps me calm, alerts for impending seizures, and helps curb the attacks. The manager at this location was extremely coarse, rude, and went past being unaccommodating. Buddy, my Service Dog, has to be within my sight for him to properly alert me and to perform his job tasks effectively. The manager demanded that he be put under the table on the /extremely/ dirty floor. I informed him of my medical condition and that Buddy will lay on his towel in the seat next to me. Never touching food, never barking, never disturbing any other patrons. He stated that wasn't allowed, and that corporate office says otherwise. This is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act Revised in 2011. Service animals are allowed /anywhere/ that customers are allowed. The /only/ accommodations that are not /required/ by the business is to feed / water / clean up after a service animal. The manager repeatedly harassed me, and even after asking the tables around us if Buddy was causing an issue, The manager persisted. He blatantly refused to give us his name in order to report him. All the patrons at the restaurant were dismayed by his behavior, his disrespect, and downright abhorrent attitude. This is completely unacceptable behavior for anyone in the service industry. Service animals are legally considered medical equipment. Would you demand a patron with an oxygen tank to put it on a dirty, uncleaned floor? I highly doubt it. This is being reported the ADA along with the Better Business Bureau. The manager's callous behavior did cause me to have a seizure, as stress often does. This is a crime. This is discrimination. This is unbelievably /wrong/. This will be shared on every social media avenue I have available, because no disabled person should ever have to be treated this way. read more

Delicious every time! The booster seat for a child is like the top of the high chair and fits perfectly in the booths. I wish they had these at all restaurants, so easy and convenient. The only reason for the 3 stars is we always struggle with service. The hosts just take off trying to seat you, but when you have a family and children please give us a minute to catch up with you. It's usually a hit or miss with the servers, but we keep coming back for the food. read more

Poor customer service from the hostess & manager, Rhonda. I walked in w a 1/2 cup of Starbucks icoffee in a clear cup that I was quickly finishing. Before ever getting to the counter, the hostess used a rude, demeaning tone to say, "You can't bring in outside drinks!" I'm thinking, okay but why such a rude tone coming from a hostess who's job is to welcome people? So I asked for the manager. Not bc of the drink "rule" but to explain that she needs more training in approaching customers who enter w coffee. Literally her tone was like I brought in 1/5 of whiskey or something worse! She ignored my request until the younger, more courteous male waiter told her again. She used on the phone. The manager came to the counter and the hostess came from behind the counter to approach me where I was waiting patiently by the jukebox. Again w her same rude demeaning tone, she said, "I talked to my manager and she said no outside drinks." I again asked to speak to her manager and explained it's not about the coffee. I said, "Is she not available to speak to me?" Then she pointed to her at the hostess desk. I said, "Are you serious? You were literally right there and couldn't check to see what I needed? I told her that hiding behind an employee was horrible customer service and she knew it! She apologized, but I was appalled at her lack of management skills. I explained it's no wonder the hostess felt empowered to treat me so rudely over a 1/2 cup of coffee bc her shoddy, passive aggressive management techniques w customers had trickled down into the employees. She continued with, I apologize. However, that's not good enough. I left and went to another restaurant to enjoy time w my grandson. After eating here since it opened, this is my first negative experience. However, it was bad enough to be my last unless handled appropriately. read more

Great steak! Loved the peanuts, rolls and salad also. They were not too busy at lunch and we were able to get in and out pretty fast. The only bad thing was my Bud Light draft was actually a Miller Lite. The bartender said they had run out of Bud Light so the manager hooked up the Miller Lite keg figuring that noone would notice the difference. They were wrong. read more

When my family and I walked in there yesterday there were at least 7 people standing at the host stand. It was around 5:30 and the staff out numbered the amount of tables in the restaurant. We had 4 people plus a 9 month old baby. We were not offered a high chair which was fine because we just decided we would ask our server. But after sitting there for 15 minute without anyone even acknowledging our table was there we decided to leave. Two different servers came in and sat and talked to one of the tables across the room from us and 2 more servers came in and exited the section a couple of times and not a single staff member acted like we existed. When we decided to leave the restaurant and ask to speak with a manager, we were greeted by him where he was extremely apologetic and seemed shocked. However the staff (probably about 10 people now) were all crowded around the hostess stand goofing off and making faces as we were speaking to the manager. I have worked in a restaurant for 7 years now and I cannot believe how childish that staff was. Needless to say I will never visit that restaurant again and I honestly don't have a clue how that specific location is still in business. read more

This location is the worst. The last two times I have been here I haven't had good luck with my steaks and after the last time I wasn't ever going to go back. This time my grandson wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday so I thought we would try one more time. On this occasion I decided to actually go and pick out the steak I wanted & hopefully this time it would be right. My husband and I both ordered the 11 ounce sirloin but when the orders came my husband, who likes his rare, seem to have gotten the one I chose and I got a small thin piece of steak which they said was a ribeye even though I ordered a sirloin. The pictures posted by B.R. from Braselton are almost a perfect example of the two steaks we got tonight. The manager tried to tell me mine had shrunk from cooking but it wasn't even the same shape as the one I had picked. This is the last straw, I will NOT be going back. read more

Not a good night at Texas Roadhouse. I ordered primerib medium rare. It had to go back because it was well done, which the waitress notices before I say anything. They take it back, while I eat my backed potato and green beans. At which point, I get what I thought was the manager come and tell me there is no more prime rib. So I say ok and I order the rib eye. Most of the way finished with my potato and beans comes this stringy, fatty piece of meat undercooked and tasteless. I tell them there is no way I am eating this ribeye, by now the rest of my food is gone. When the waitress comes to the table she tells me I can take this home for my dog because they will just throw it away. Now the manager comes to my table to ask me what I would like instead. She reaches to take the ribeye and I tell her the waitress told me I could take it home for the dog and get this very unpleasant scowl. Soon the next steak comes and it's nice, but everyone is finished with their meal and I'm eating a steak by itself with nothing else. So my friend and I order a piece of pie to share and two coffees. Coffees come and they are luke warm and no pie. So we ask to have fresh coffee brewed. Ugh, dishes piling up on the table, the cold coffee was still on the table when we left. Wait it get's worse. The waitress asks me what we expect the bill to reflect. I tell her they should take care of me, since they ruined the meal. The bill comes and they have given me the coffee and dessert on the house. Wow, I can tell you they lost 4 customers tonight. If you want good food and great service, try Barebones in Buford. read more

Went here last week and ordered a baked potato with sour creme and cheese, only got a baked potato without sour creme and cheese

We have been to this location many times, last night was awful. We went for my mother's birthday. I ordered the filet, my husband ordered the 16 oz ribeye. When the food came the runner noticed that mine was a sirloin not the filet I ordered and took it back. My husband's ribeye was the thinnest cut I've ever seen, turns out it was a 10 oz, that went back. Round two, out comes my filet and his ribeye, we both cut into the steaks to check the temperature (we both ordered medium rare +) both steaks were cold and raw in the center. We asked for a manager, she took both the steaks back and brought them back finally cooked to temperature. Of course by this time the rest of our party finished their meals. The bill was delivered without any alteration for their repeated mistakes. I called to speak to someone when they opened today at 11:00, since it was so busy last night I thought they might do the right thing when it's not so rushed, the manger could not be bothered to return my phone call. read more

After reading all of the reviews about Texas Roadhouse in Gainesville Ga. I almost went elsewhere but decided to go anyway because their food is usually pretty good. Most of the complaint reviews are for poor service but I have to say our waitress was pretty good, that being said, that was about the extent of what was good. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium that came out with no pink in the center, much less mostly pink as it should have been. Not wanting to pay $20 for a steak not cooked correctly at a steakhouse I had her send it back to be redone. 10 minutes later (after everyone else was done with their meal) my second steak comes out, just as well done as the first one!!! This time it is brought to me by the manager who asked me to cut it open to make sure it's right. As soon as I cut it we both realized there was no pink in the center and I said "this is pretty bad, this is a steakhouse and can't get a steak cooked medium!) Not wanting my party to have to wait on me again I told the manager that i would just eat this one. She apologized and said they would try to do better? My bill comes, not one mention of a comp or coupon! Or even another I'm sorry about the mistakes, just I hope you enjoyed your meal and I hope you come back to see us.
