Texas Roadhouse is a very popular chain restaurant. They OFFER an early dine option...but because they are often very busy, it's NOT a good idea to show up 10-15 minutes before "early dine" ends. Omgosh, did we witness the world's worst "karen" couple abuse the restaurant staff over their personal lack of timeliness. All for a small discount. It's difficult to take these type of people serious...so privileged and willing to blame everyone else, but themselves. Our dining experience was very nice...the food was great and the servers were amazing. The only glitch (hence 4-star) was having to be exposed to these mean, stingy, rednecks. We weren't there for "early dine"...it was a coincidence that we wanted to eat at this time. If I were the owner, I'd stop the early dine incentive. Let them eat McD's cheeseburgers. read more

I would like to start off by saying I love Texas Roudhouse and I normally have a good time there. Not the last time I went however. I was treated with attitude and disrespect by not only the staff but also the owner. The food was disappointing as well. The mushrooms and steak was very salty and almost not edible. Luckily for me I like salt I was able to eat it. Also the broccoli and carrots were very disappointing. I don't send food back ever so I delt with it. We were told by staff at the door when we arrived that we could sit at the bar (while we wait for the rest of our party of 10 to arrive for a bday dinner) as long as there were nobody waiting to sit at the bar. There were 6 empty seats when my wife and I sat down. Then we were told by the very rude bar staff we could not sit there after having a few drinks. I had 3 drinks at the bar then when seated at our table, I was told I had to wait before I could order another drink because "it's a family establishment". Which would not have been an issue except they have a full bar and a huge drink menu that offers you another shot to top off your margaritas for $3.00. I guess it's ok to stuff your drink with a shot of patron but not have 4 drinks. Then I was told by the very rude owner that was very combative and wasn't trying to listen to anything I had to say about my experience after our dinner when I talked to her to complain. She then tells me that it's not even a full shot that you get for the $3. Apparently they are advertising selling you a shot for $3 and you're not even getting what you're paying for. I would like to add that our wait staff at our table was excellent and the owner and bar staff should take notes from. Never have I had these issues at any other Texas Roudhouse nor have I ever been treated so poorly. I will never return to this particular location. Our evening at this location was disappointing. From the long wait, slow service (I think we sat there waiting 10 minutes after the salad arrived for them to bring the dressing that they had forgotten - which we let them know at the time the salad arrived that it was missing). They also forgot the Honey Mustard for the Chicken Critters which was promptly given after we asked for that. The table also lacked any of the Steak Sauce which was odd as well, plus when we asked for it they delivered A1 not even the Texas Roadhouse branded sauce. This place is always busy .. service and food is always hit or miss .. from good to great.. this place shares parking lot with another restaurant so parking is always packed (easier to park far and walk).. On our recent visit we were offered the pickle chips or cactus blossom at the hostess stand as she was grabbing the rolls for our table .. smart move! We said yes and they arrived as our drinks were hitting the table!! That was fast! Pickle chips were salty goodness.. ranch on the side .. plenty to share with a party of four. My ribeye (10pz) was cooked med-well just like I like it.. my boyfriends was more on the medium side (pinker then he expected) but was juicy and delicious (so no complaints). I had the baked potato and veggies (nothing exciting).. the bf had the chili and loaded potatoe .. the chili arrived before our entrees .. Our waitress checked on us several times and the food runners were all friendly .. Arrived at 5pm with a party of 3 on a Saturday before the rush. Very few people waiting. We were told 10 minutes. 12 minutes passed and those who arrived after us were being seated first. Checked back in and was told it was. A20 min wait and we have 7 min left. Waited and 30 minutes passed and more people who arrived after were being seated. Checked in again and this time they apologized and we had to wait an additional 5 min. The waitress was good but that was ridiculous for the wait as there were only 2 parties originally in front of us. My husband and I chose to attempt to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse on 11.21.2023. We check led in and we're told it would be a 15-25 mins which we were okay with. However, what is not okay is that group after group were sat before us. And I know they arrived after us and did not have a reservation because I asked. This is my first time in this restaurant and I'm not impressed. The hostess was pleasant but immediately told me I could sit at the bar since I was alone. Why they assume a single wants to sit at the bar is disrespectful. I told her I wanted a dining table but she still sat me at the bar tables with a basket of greasy rolls and sweet butter. No explanation as to what type. The bartender/waiter asked if I wanted a drink and I declined, telling him I was working. His mood soured. No conversation besides my order. He apparently doesn't believe single diners are worth his time. I ordered the 16oz ribeye MR+ with a baked potato and broccoli. The ribeye came out Rare+, the broccoli dry and tasteless but the Baker was actually cooked properly. I asked for pepper from the girl who delivered my meal but she chose not to pay attention. After 6 minutes, the bartender/waiter came by to check on me. I told him I needed pepper ( which I told him as I made my order) and delivered S&P in under a minute. Unfortunately, he didn't come back for 18 minutes more while I was struggling with a cold, undercooked steak. Waitstaff needs to be trained to ask if the steak is cooked properly, not if "everything is ok". I then waited another 8 minutes after finishing my meal before he came to see if I was finished eating. No attempt at offering dessert, just wanted me out of his section. So, I took the time to write this review. Overall, the service was abysmal and the food was not much better. I worked in numerous restaurants in my youth and regarded singles as needing more of my attention than 8-tops. It's just good manners not to treat them like a pariah. This location is always busy busy! The several times I've stopped by, we have had to wait about 15 to 30 minutes. The employees have always been nice. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious.. The complimentary sweet dinner rolls are to die for! For a chain restaurant I really like this place. Great prices for pretty good food. First off the bread is freaking amazing, and it comes with this cinnamon butter. I could eat like 50 bread pieces if I didn't have self control. I also like the strawberry lemonade right away. They have peanut buckets on the table too. For a meal I usually go with the steak option which includes 2 sides. For like $13 you get a 6 Oz sirloin, and I usually get the vegetables and applesauce as my sides but they also have salads, baked potatoes, and more. Ordered steak medallions came cold. Both meals came cold. Even though we ate some to try it and asked to cook the steak fresh they ended up putting our eaten food back on the grill. We said that is so unsanitary the manager said that's what they do. That's disgusting. Texas Roadhouse is always a good meal at a decent price. The service on our last trip was fantastic. They give you unlimited peanuts which is always a big hit with the kids. They have an early menu from 11-3 on weekends that basically takes pricing down to what you would pay in a casual dining chain. This is a steak place first and foremost and we didn't go in that direction as it was lunchtime. Most of us had chicken tenders and they were very good and came with two sides. I love the environment in Texas Roadhouse. Nice food with no obligation to wear your most expensive cocktail dress. I never wait over an hour and I've never been disappointed with a server! A group of 8 elderly ladies came (4 over 80) for an early dinner. The wouldn't seat us because one person was missing so I asked for the manager. She informed me that it was their policy to only seat full parties. Certainly they could have made accommodations with just one late but they chose to stick to policy and make us all wait. My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday a few weeks back, for the most part we had a blast! My husband and I arrived early so we could grab a drink at the bar, but we were not impressed with our drinks. For almost $20 my margarita was bland and mainly ice while my husbands beer was a bit warm even in the frosted glass. We were at the bar for about 20 minutes, the bartender was nice but had a bit of an attitude. We went to our table shortly after paying for our drinks. Our waitress was overly nice but very accommodating especially to our large party. We were unfortunately seated by the restrooms which was uncomfortable and our accommodations felt last minute, even with making reservations. The restaurant was busy but well kept, we enjoyed the paintings in the bar of the different teams. Have no reason not to return aside from a bit pricey. The 12 oz ribeye was done perfectly, like 100% couldn't have done it better myself. The baked potato came out with a mound of cheese on it. Cheddar is better baby! Unfortunately I found myself with a dirty knife at the beginning of the meal, so eww. The rolls were a bit hard, which was unusual but the biggest downside were the salads, which came out brown and wilted looking for both myself and the wife. We love the steaks at the Texas Roadhouse, and they didn't disappoint here, but we also go for the sides are usually awesome. Otherwise I could have just grilled a steak at home. I have been going to this place since they opened. I always get prime rib, mashed potatoes and green beans. I will not be going back! The last time I was there with my friends we were put in a room that was easily ten degrees colder than the rest of the place. It was so cold that my potatoes and gravy were cold(gravy was a solid mass) in the time it took me to cut two pieces of meat! Even though I was wearing slacks with a jacket, I was COLD!!!! Emily is very skilled at her position. The service was quick and efficient. The Manager Noah even came to our table to check in with us during our dining experience. Was told by the waiter he would remake it and we Asked that it NOT be put back on the grill as it had come out 3 minutes after the appetizer and salads so it sat for 15 minutes. We stopped eating here about 4 years ago after we had a not so delicious meal and were both sick the next day. Fast forward to today (the MONDAY after Mother's Day) - my in laws love Texas Roadhouse so we met them for an early dinner. After arriving at 4:40pm, then waiting 45 minutes for a table, we waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our main entrees to arrive after ordering. 3 of 7 of our meals were either completely burnt or completely undercooked. They comped the 3 meals but I will not be giving this location another chance. It seems their kitchen cannot handle their giant takeout operation as well as a full capacity restaurant. read more

As a vegetarian I would not normally come to a steak house but came today with my veteran friends. I have to say that I really enjoyed this place...the atmosphere was great and I am so grateful for the respect they showed our vets! Their friendly staff welcomed everyone as they held the front doors open...wishing everyone happy veteran's day! They offered free meals to vets....all of their staff were wear T-shirts that read "i heart our troops." Ivan was our waiter and he was very patient with me and my vegetarian needs. I had the veggie plate...yay! I got to pick 4 sides...I was limited because they cook some think in bacon grease or add bacon, turkey or some other critter mixed in but that's okay, I was in their territory :-) My veteran friends had the 6 oz sirloin which came with two sides, both said it was delicious. The prime rib is very good and perfectly sized to share. The service is consistently above par and the upselling is quite entertaining! The cactus blossom and fried pickles are perfect starters. For this, we made sure to leave good tips. However, on our way out, a waitress named Renee passive aggressively commented, "Thanks for not leaving a tip" TWICE to our face as we walked out. After we corrected her and asked why she said that, she tried dismissing us and claiming she said "Thanks FOR the tip" even though we all did not mishear.
