I've been to one other Texas Roadhouse location one other time a few years before coming to the location at Sunset and Stephanie. Having tried it twice now at two locations, I'm starting to think this is just not the place for me. For one, it is too damn loud for me. I don't like loud places. Especially when I am trying to enjoy dinner with my family. Honestly, why does the music need to be so loud? Was the new generation born hearing impared? Yeah, fine, I get this is a "roadhouse" but I value my hearing more than a theme. Sorry, I don't mean to rant. Changing subjects, the food on this last visit was disappointing for me. My dad and step mom seemed to enjoy their meals. My step mom took home some leftovers. Not the mashed potatoes, though. There was nothing wrong with them. They're just true mashed and kind of lumpy. Fine for me but for her expecting creamy whipped potatoes it was a surprise she didn't fully appreciate. As for my meal, I was less than enthused. I had a chicken sandwich. The flavor was fine but the chicken was not pleasent. I don't know if it was a chicken with some years on it or a body builder chicken or what. But it was tough. The meat was almost crunchy. Grilled chicken should not be crunchy. I didn't even finish the last few bites of chicken. I didn't want to. I've had this issue at other restaurants before. I don't blame the eshtablishment. I blame the bird. The evening was not a total bust. The dinner rolls are amazing as is the butter to go with them. The fries I got with my sandwich were good. Service was also good. We had an attentive and friendly server. Our food came out fairly quickly. No complaints there. It is mostly the vibe that I don't like. Like I said, this just isn't the place for me. I was excited for my first visit to Texas Roadhouse. I only heard good things about the place. It was my nephews birthday so decided go there plus none of us been before. I like the vibe from minute walk in got high energy vibe, lots of fun party atmosphere, and got personality. Between the fact set times throughout the night whole staff sings and lines up does dance moves. Or if birthday brings out mini Trojan horse with real saddle sit on plus get wear cowboy hat and staff sings happy birthday. If that not personality. The menu is pretty big. Since my first time really had no idea direction wanted go. I ended up settling on the smothered chicken and sides went with chili and mash potato. The chili was da bomb. I could have whole bowl for meal be happy. The smothered chicken portion size huge all dishes we all got. The chicken perfect nice moist well seasoned and the gravy on top awesome. The BREAD comes with meal. Always had Olive Garden most addicting need make point not overload bed or meal. It honey plus sugar in them. So addicting. Overall great spot! This has historically been our favor go to steakhouse, but has slipped the last few times we have went. The last time, I ordered bar drink, 10 minutes later they came out and said, we don't have the right stuff to make it.... Ok, so then I ordered a second drink... another 10 minutes goes by and this time the manager came by to tell me that they couldn't make that drink either... so I ordered a third one.... It do not show up until I was nearly done with my entree. Also, ordered a dinner salad with no egg... yup, it came it. A lady came by near the end of the meal and asked how it was, enlightened her... sorry... no big deal, no comp. Just had dinner at Texas Roadhouse on Sunset in Henderson. Had their Sirloin steaks from their Early Dine menu. Our server, Miranda, was very attentive with our water glasses and warm bread. I loved seeing the servers dancing to the music! It was a great experience at this Texas Roadhouse, just as much as the one in Twin Falls, ID. They really know how to make their customers feel at home and the staff are all very friendly. I would not hesitate to return here. read more

My friends and I went to Texas Roadhouse for an early dinner. One of the group was a bit late, but we weren't rushed or made to wait until the three of us were all together. The food was great, and served within a good timing for each course. The service was awesome! Our server was named Le'Darryl. He has a great personality, helpful and efficient. First time here 1/2026 Food was very delicious. They serve bread with cinnamon butter spread.. it was delicious appetizer. The serving plates were filling and tasteful. The serve was attentive and patient with out party of 10 who split the check on 4 different tabs. The seating small was not comfortable as they squished us in 1 booth with an added table in the end so we barely fit. My first time at this location. We walked right in with no wait. That never happens. We must have been right in between the rush though because when we walked out there was standing room only and lots of people waiting outside. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were pretty clean and well taken care of. Our waiter was sweet and tentative. We got our drinks promptly. The sweet tea was made to perfection. After ordering, we got our meals pretty quickly. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The rolls were hot and fresh and delicious as ever. We enjoyed dining here. We came into Texas Roadhouse and were seated quickly, which we really appreciated. The staff was friendly, attentive, and gave us great customer service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn after we left. The following morning, my 6-year-old daughter was very sick with what appeared to be food poisoning, and my cousin who came to eat with us experienced the same symptoms as well. It was a stressful and concerning situation, especially with a young child involved. I want to be fair--our in-restaurant experience was genuinely positive--but this outcome is something that should be looked into. Don't let the country music and waitress line dancing scare you off... if you are a fan of everything "Texas" and wood cabin accents this is your place and if not then come anyway for a quality steak dinner at a reasonable price. I had checked out the website and saw that they do the waitlist thing online, so have that ready on your phone before you drive up and no reservations to be made. We got in and were seated within minutes to what looked like a packed house. Our waiter was all too helpful in answering all of our questions with it being our first visit. Being our first time they brought us out three taster cups to share of chili, corn and string beans. Ok different but all worth giving a try. We started with the deep fried pickles that were nice and thin and not soggy. They could have had a bit more seasoning for my liking but still tasty. All of their beers are all the big famous brands no local microbrews to be found here. Also they do not have a full bar so some cocktails you won't find here. We ordered the ribs and the prime rib. The ribs are advertised as fall off the bone and that they are for sure. The prime rib was a decent cut with not an over amount of fat and just a tad dry but still worth the try. I had the fully loaded baked potato and the Mac and cheese for sides. Good potato and the Mac and cheese once again could have had just a tad more flavor but were not bad at all. So be prepared once in a while all the waitress will all of a sudden line up and line dance in the isle for a full song. All in all we had good service in a lively atmosphere with good food and the best part the bill with desert to go was just over the 100 dollar mark which in itself is a great deal for the Henderson / Las Vegas area. For the price point alone I'll definitely be back at some point. They also have a walk up to go window if you want to take their food out. I stopped by here a couple months ago with my partner and we had such a great dinner after a long day. I feel guilty for not being able to recall the name of our server at the time, but they (and all of the staff really) were *so* friendly and made a clear effort to ensure we had a good and comfortable time. I recall barely waiting for our food despite how packed the restaurant was at the time, I still would have understood completely if I happened to wait a while though so it was a pleasant surprise to not have waited long to eat. Food was excellent, as I've experienced with most locations, and also like many of them, it is veeery busy and loud. For anyone who has not visited a Texas Roadhouse before, I would be wary of that. Anytime my server comes to the table I always say "Thank You" & tonight on 9/29/25 I didn't receive not one "Your Welcome" through out our visit. Have been long time customers at this location but had bad experience there today. When placing our carryout order online, a 10:45 am pick up time was offered, which I chose. I received an email that the order would be ready at that time. My husband arrived a few minutes early and noticed the restaurant was not yet open. An employee was inside the outdoor walk up window and my husband showed him the screenshot of our order stating it would be ready at 10:45. The worker explained they did not open until 11 and the order had not been prepared. My question is why does your order site give the option to pick up at 10:30 or 10:45? The manager stated he had sent an email to my phone stating they do not open until 11. He certainly did not. I realize this is a small problem, but why not admit you made a mistake on your order platform instead of lying to your customers? They have since fixed the order pick up times in their site but that rude, lying manager doesn't sit well with me. On 06/18/2026 After my wife and I got done purchasing my wife a new Lexus at Findlay Toyota' we decided to go eat at our favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse at Stephanie and Sunset Rd in Henderson Nevada ! I ordered the 14 once Prime rib dinner and my wife steak dinner. I had about three bites into the prime rib when I started to feel sick to my stomach. We notified the manager and the whole dinner came to 87.00 dollars! The manager all he did to make it right took off 10.00 dollars from the bill. The Prime Rib tasted like turpentine and I got really sick from the meat and threw up and had diarrhea all night long after arriving home from the dinner ! We unfortunately will not be returning to their restaurant and will be letting others know to watch out for their food when they order from this establishment! Horrible customer experience! Will not recommend this establishment ever again unless you wish to get food poisoning! read more

All of the food was enjoyable with no complaints. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively. And every so often they turn the music up really loud and a large group of the staff brakes out in a line dance. Which makes for a festive and fun experience. Most of the staff were great, especially our server who earned every bit of her tip. Some could've used some improvement. More specifically the guy who worked the front desk wearing glasses and two sketchy looking gold chains. I didn't catch his name, but he could definitely use a crash course in proper etiquette when dealing with a paying customer. Decided to give this place another chance and go here for my birthday today...we got there right at 3pm when it opened on a Monday and there was already a line at the door...we actually got in pretty quick and seated within 5 min so, that's not too bad at all. I ordered a peach iced tea and ice water and my son had the chicken fried sirloin steak with 2 sides which is actually a really good value and price (under $20) and I ordered a boneless beef rib eye with a side of chili with onion and cheese and a side salad with ranch and everything was really good except...... I ordered my steak medium and it came medium rare(still bluish/purple) and our waiter was such a sweetheart and took it back asap and the manager brought it back out after they had put it back on the grill for a few more minutes which is odd to me since I had actually eaten a couple of bites from it (on the end before I cut into the center that was cool to the touch, I figured once you touch it then to take it away and recook it, is that safe? I guess it's saving $$ but, what's the protocol on that? Anyways, I ended up taking half my steak home since I was full with the delicious fresh rolls that were hot when we 1st sat down and 2 of them filled me up so, I took the other 2 home to eat later, I am still waiting to review again for 5 stars...maybe next time? I went there on a Friday night just recently, after a meeting. I was waiting for my husband because he took an Uber from the airport instead of driving all the way home. so I knew I didn't make reservations or anything and I asked if I could have some cocktails so over to the bar Texas RH sends me with a very friendly smile. And that's for my great experience began. Young bartender name, Aliy. I asked for a Moscow Mule. She said sorry we don't have that, but let me recommend another drink. I get some pink pucker. I think is the name of the drink it was so tasty. It might have found my new cocktail. It was not really sweet perfectly mixed, and Ally was full of personality and was as kind as kind comes. Even did the little country western dancing for me the place was packed. She brings me some of that yummy bread as I wait for my husband to arrive. She was so personable. I told her how excited I was to see my husband. I hadn't seen him all week. He was at work traveling. She was truly interested. So I go ahead and order food per Ally's suggestion.. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and an appetizer that had several different items on it for my husband. The chicken was really good great I asked for extra ranch without hesitation, they provided extras. My husband's sampler had snake bites potato skins, and something else on it. Get a choice of three items. Everything was really good tasted perfect. Food was hot. Service was amazing. All made all of my new best drink and provided a good selection of beers for my husband. Pretty standard Texas Roadhouse. Yelp is requesting a review. I guess maybe there are folks unfamiliar or they're trying to get a plethora of experiences. This is one of the more crowded restaurants I can recall. They do a fantastic job corralling guests and getting them through. We only waited five minutes front door to table. My sirloin was great. The correct colour, tender and a nice balance of spices. The chili and baked potato both spot on. Our server made several trips to the table and kept the glasses full. It's a fun place to spend some time. Flat screens with country videos and several sports. It's loud, but in a good way. But this time, they put sour cream, also I asked them if I could get a new one without the sour cream, because it had melted down into it, and the waitress told me to scrape it off.Yeah I can't do that. I've gotten their filet medallions and there is no flavor. The blooming onion we tried and the sauce tastes weird, I'd rather get that from Outback. First, I want to thank Amelia for the great customer service that we received, she was warm and friendly and ensured that we had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. We shared a Onion Cactus blossom, crispy delicious and not oily at all. The "Blossom sauce" paired well. My wife had the 12oz Ribeye and pork ribs, she said her steak was a perfect medium and the ribs were tasty and fall off the bone. My son had a monster 32oz Prime rib, perfectly cooked and tender. I had a 14oz Ribeye and grilled shrimp, again cooked to a perfect medium and very tender. Our early family dinner was fantastic, the customer service, food and atmosphere were on point.
