Unexpected discovery for us! We were traveling from Phoenix to California and stopped for gas in Yuma, and after the car got filled, we decided to look for somewhere to eat - and right there next door was the Texas Roadhouse. Although it was Mother's Day, we got seating right away at the bar. We had a delicious lunch, a cold beer (just one), and were on our way in record time despite one of our entrees getting lost in the kitchen. It was my first time trying Texas Roadhouse and I did not know what to expect. From the get go the employees were super friendly and helpful. The wait for a party of 3 on a Thursday night was less than 15 minutes. In the wait area there is a bucket of peanuts to share. They sat us in the bar area in a booth. I personally do not like to be put in the bar area when not drinking but it was fine (I'm not ordering drinks so I feel bad for the server - tip wise). The rolls and butter were awesome but I felt the sweetness of them didn't pair well with my palate before eating BBQ. My side of chili came out first as well as my friend's Caesar salad. It was a little weird eating in front of our other friend but I guess soup and salad is always served first. There was a little bit of a wait to get the entrees but you have to remember you are getting your steaks made to your preference. The food was really good. The only weird peeves I have are when I got my chili with the onions on the spoon it had seemed like the spoon and onions had been waiting in a refrigerator to be put on a plate. The spoon was freezing. My side of mashed potatoes with brown gravy were cold. Steak was awesome and tender with the grilled onions on top. My friend thought his grilled chicken was underwhelming (a chicken breast cut in half) but enjoyed the baked potato and corn. Where I was sitting people were standing and leaning for a bar seat inches away from my head which made me really uncomfortable. I was right above where they pick up the dining cutlery to bring people to their table where the food comes out and I saw multiple servers carrying their large round trays with hair almost going into the food multiple times which threw me way off. I was glad to know my server had a baseball cap on so I knew it wouldn't be an issue (and it wasn't). Overall it was a great experience. Will definitely go back for the food but not the atmosphere. Kinda reminded me of a TGIFridays or a generic BBQ place. Sadly I didn't get to taste the BBQ sauce but heard it was alright. read more

I accidentally came across this placed in a shopping center with other restaurants. I intended to go somewhere else but was hypnotized by the sign . After reading the reviews I decided that I had to try it. The bread is fresh and delicious. We ordered the onion loaf and it did not disappoint. I had the rib eye with a baked potato. My spouse had the bbq chicken with vegetables. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return when we are in town. read more

Oh my gosh ya'll!! This place is like a dream come true! Service is awesome, so fun to watch the employees do their little dance down the walkway... but the food was incredible. Simply delicious! I got the pulled pork with a side of sweet potato with cinnamon and butter and veggies. The serving sizes are big and their fresh (made every 5min) bread with their special cinnamon butter was delicious! They don't mess around with their famous margaritas and that extra shot just put it over the top! I will definitely be coming back, so much fun! read more

Regarding the message that came out for the complementary Veterans meal on November 11th, Veterans Day, granted that this is offered only for Veterans and active military, but did they need to clearly state, that this is not good for the spouse and children. Really!!! The family is never recognized, they are the ones home alone, while the military are away. At least the spouse needs to be offered something. Not loving it, they definitely don't believe in pre bussing It was loud, way too crowded, obnoxious, wait time was mis quoted 3 times they said 20 minuets and it was an hour and 10 we waited all together , had a bday with no bday dessert only a quick cowboy sattle to sit on while they said yeeeehawww lololol. They don't take reservations, but we called ahead and were seated within 5min of our arrival. Service was extremely fast and the food was excellent! I recommend the killer ribs and fried pickles. I was really excited to try this place for the first time and at first everything was great! UNTIL... we received our order and one of our sides was missing. We respectfully advice our waiter, Taylor, that one of our sides was missing. Never the less it took them like 10-15 to get out side that was missing, and by that time we were finished eating and already full. I guess being a Cali gurl I didn't know what to expect! When I walked in, what seemed like 10 waitress' greeted me, which was a bit jarring but maybe refreshing. There were peanuts everywhere! I do like peanuts however I felt guilty throwing them on floor. They seated us, very crowded, within 15 minutes (not bad). As I was trying to scope everything out, a loud resounding stomp scared the heck out of me! To my surprise, the whole wait staff were two-stepping it in the aisles! Lol! I've never seen anything like it. Ha! Then our table next to us, a separate group of wait staff came around a put a birthday boy on a horse saddle! I was like, "oh man, I need at least (4) Tequila shots to hang around this place!" As far as the food, the thing I didn't like was, they do not have beef ribs (sad face), they don't have great desserts However...their Baby Back ribs were perfectly tender & crispy at the same time and fell off the bone! My family and I visited Texas Roadhouse last night for my daughters graduation and my sons birthday. This is a family favorite place to eat. Last night we were blown away with the service we received from Tristan our waiter!! Not only was he funny, informational, kind and respectful but, he kept us extremely entertained while our food was being prepared. The wait was long but it didn't even feel like it because he gave us riddles to solve. Before we knew it our food was out!! Please give this man a raise or recognition. Our whole table of seven were so blown away by him. My husband isn't the kind to tip more than 20% and he did for Tristan! Thank you Tristan, we'll be back and we will tell everyone about you!! We were so excited to visit this new location. We were excited for the rolls with the cinnamon butter and was not let down. I had a rare filet that was so tender and so delicious. The green beans with bacon, a southern treat. The service was outstanding. She never let our drinks go dry..A family friendly place and great when you have little ones. I grew up eating at Texas Roadhouse. I moved to CA and always got it on my visits home and since being in Oside, went to the one on the way to Riverside. I was so excited to hear about this new location. I so far have only ordered to go with this location, because i have a new baby, but on the grand opening day, it was ready in only 15 minutes from when i ordered it. The second time I ordered it, i got the same quote and it ended up being about 30 minutes and they gave us the wrong steak and side. It was a better steak, so whatever. I didn't notice because it was for my husband and i dont eat steak so have no clue what it should look like. They were busy and its a new place, so it was no biggie. Both times, they were very nice. Texas Roadhouse tips: they give you great rolls w/cinnamon butter. You can ask for regular butter. I saw someone complain about that here. I'm pretty sure they only give the one because that's what they are known for. Every location i've been to is always loud. It's not because they are new, so I wouldn't go expecting a quiet dinner. If it's like any of the other locations I've been to, there will pretty much always be a decent wait on the weekends. It's a popular place all over. It isn't really set up for big parties, but I've gone to other locations as a big party and it was totally fine. I cant wait to get to eat there and not just get takeout. read more

I've been going to Texas roadhouse for a couple of years now at least every other week and I'll have to say they've done a fantastic job in all aspects the hired help is typically great and very enthusiastic and pleasant to deal with. The food is wonderful you can never go wrong with The ribs, steaks, pork chops, chicken my personal favorite is the roadkill I actually get it just for the gravy ha ha. We come here for the Porterhouse T-bone steak about once a month. We arrived an hour before closing and expected to be rushed. However, our server, Alex, was very attentive and friendly through out the meal. The steak was slightly over cooked than how we'd like it to be but they had no problem remaking it although it was right before closing. I got the chicken fried chicken with brown gravy and mashed potatoes and holy sheep it was the best dang gravy I've ever had! The mashed potatoes were delish too! The chicken was perfectly cooked, not fatty or rubery and the deep fried batter that covered the chicken was amaze balls! My fiance got a steak then prime rib the next night. He liked the steak better but both were bomb! The beers are big too and honestly the prices are pretty good considering how tasty it is, also the portions are very generous.
