Let me first tell you how great Nate our server was. We sat at one of the larger booth tables which was full of plates. Nate was super observant and took care of our table of 6 people super well. He frequently refilled our drinks, picked up empty dishes, offered to make a mixed sauce for me so it's spicier, and one person from our table didn't like their drink so he brought an alternative. Ana the Manager helped us split the bill when we couldn't figure out the computer thing. Lol There isn't a way to pick the items I want to pay for which seems intuitive but the device would only let us split the bill total into parts. That's a corporate issue though and she did her best to accommodate us. The food is so good. Don't even get me started on the free super hot bread with that yummy butter and those fried pickle appetizers. I don't know what I was thinking getting the full rack of ribs after stuffing my face with free bread and peanuts and that appetizer. I could only eat 1/3 the rack but the rest of the rack made for excellent lunch the next day.

Texas Roadhouse is a classic American roadhouse vibe: think warm, rustic, and loud in the best way. Our server Jaiden was fantastic. She anticipated everything before we asked i.e condiments already on the table, three rounds of fresh bread without asking, extra plates for appetizers, and an extra hot plate since I was sharing my entrée with my mom. Effortless, warm, and genuinely attentive in a way that's rare. The food matched the service. Everything came out hot and beautifully plated, ribeyes with perfect grill marks, loaded baked sweet potato, ribs were finger licking good, crispy appetizers. We arrived on a Friday around 5pm and only had a short wait, but by the time we finished dinner the place was packed so come early if you can. Texas Roadhouse Oceanside, you've earned a regular. I can't wait to bring my in-laws to try!

Kudos to Texas Roadhouse in Oceanside for being so well prepared on Father's Day! We had a big group of 10 and called ahead to be placed on the waitlist. We arrived and had no issues with getting our table quickly. The service was excellent with plenty of servers available. It was a busy day at the Texas roadhouse with many dads getting their steaks for the big day. The food was well prepared and came to the table quickly. Everything tasted delicious. I love that the servers did the Footloose dance for us. I really enjoy the warm dinner rolls with the whipped butter. So good! My steak was cooked to perfection. The dads at the table were very happy with their meals.

Bryan was our Fantastic server! He was attentive and we had a fun conversation. The ribeye I picked out was incredibly grilled and seasoned. Didn't need any steak sauce. We redeemed the gracious military meal voucher and got the sirloin steak and that too was perfect as well. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you Bryan for making our lunch so enjoyable!

Brought my family here for the first time since moving to Oceanside. The food is okay honestly, a lot of it lacks flavor. The Mac and cheese especially is extremely bland. Mashed potatoes are okay, also kind of bland. The steak is also just okay, I feel like the flavor isn't really there either. The star of the show is the rolls and butter, & the shrimp skewers. Those are good! The service is exceptional though! All the staff is so so sweet and kind! The restaurant is lively, lots of seating & spacious. Cleanliness is okay. Tbh, it just reminds me of going to like Outback Steakhouse, nothing too special. Finding close parking depends on what time and day you go. Sometimes the lot can be empty, sometimes you'll have to park pretty far. Overall I rate it a 3 out of 5, for lack of flavor in food, has nothing to do with the staff themselves, they're all amazing!

I've always loved this location of Texas Roadhouse. It might be due to growing up with this location, but either way it's great as long as you beat the crowd. Really easy to get seated for early dinners. Staff members are always helpful and kind too! Luckily, I've always had fantastic service with most servers being genuinely happy too. My go to is some variation of grilled or crusted chicken and a blooming onion for an app. The blooming onion is always fried to perfection and their dipping sauce is just the cherry on top. I absolutely have loved every version/piece of chicken I have ordered and during my last visit the herb crusted chicken was exceptional. Wonderfully packed with flavor and very juicy. Couldn't have been happier!

Always a yummy plate here, today we got the blooming onion I tried the chicken critters & sirloin combo & it was really good comes with a choice of 2 sides & and hubby got the bacon burger which was also tasty, I always usually sit at the bar! Fun environment & always a yummy dish!

Texas Roadhouse in Oceanside is one of my favorite places to go with my husband. We always order the same meals, and it's become one of our go-to date night spots. Even though it's usually packed, we're almost always seated surprisingly fast. The service is consistently good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The music can be very loud at times, so it may not be the best place if you're looking for a quiet dinner. The food can occasionally be a little inconsistent, but whenever there's an issue, the staff is quick to make it right. Overall, we always have a great experience and keep coming back.

You know!!! If it wasn't for my friend who told me she likes going here, I wouldn't have gone! I mean we have always talked about coming here but we never do! This time we really came and was not disappointed at all! The bread is warm and delicious! They have a great kids menu and specials! We got steak, which was Cooked perfectly! Sometimes you just really Need a good grilled steak and for the price here... WOW! Amazing! The Caesar salad was just ok though. Nothing great. But yeah, we will def be back!

Early Bird Dinner Review. We were rushing to make it in by 5:30! I made a "reservation" =getting on the waiting list online on the road. A table was available immediately but we were still 15 minutes out. Walked into a pretty busy waiting area but they honored our spot and got seated right away at 5:20. The host was particularly polite asking if there were any celebrations. Our server, Hanna came right by and we said we needed to order Asap for the EBD! Drink order taken check. Dinner order taken in time. Onto the great stuff. Drinks were cheap and offered an extra shot for $2. My wife enjoyed margs, me beers and a house LI Ice tea(interesting bit not typical) My wife ordered the sirloin with mushrooms and salad. She loved it all. I got the chicken fried sirloin with soup and salad. Sides were great but the CFS was not typical. It was a thick sirloin with breading. I enjoyed it but wasn't what I was expecting. Allin All we had a great time with really fantastic service. A manager did a quick hello. The place was clean, packed and had a really good vibe to it. Staff was dancing in the aisles for some reason, cute. We have been to other TRs and loved the food but inconsistent. The Oceanside shop is top notch.

always packed, the TEXAS ROADHOUSE is an outrageously popular stop for all-things-beef with local cowpokes. I'm not much of a steak guy so my opinion shouldn't count for much, but if you're a Sizzler fan, this place is also affordable and frankly a better option. in spite of my aversion to meat-and-two (see later in the steak part of this review), being a true son of the south, all things fried are still my Kryptonite. started with the FRIED MUSHROOM appetizer -- definitely hit my sweet spot which, truth be told, is more of a grease stain. the HOUSE SALAD (fresh greens, cheddar cheese, tomato, eggs and croutons) with honey-dijon dressing was pretty meh. but, nobody goes to Waffle House for their salads (or Hooter's for their wings) so let's no judge the salad too harshly. Not a huge fan of entree cooking (meat, starch and a veggie) and TEXAS ROADHOUSE is definitely that kind of place. erred on the side of value (the 8oz cut is $3 an ounce and the16oz cut is under $2) and ordered the 16oz NEW YORK STRIP (with sautéed mushrooms) and figured I'd take home what I didn't finish. my steak was grilled 10 degrees past medium rare (as ordered) and on the dry side. still, that exceeded expectations and the lovely wife unit (who missed dinner) devoured the leftovers before I said "hello" to the pups. three-stars generously bumped to four for my dinner company, the quality of the service, and the cheeky cowboy decor. hey, what can I say? I'm a natural-born sucker for cowboy kitsch.

Came here and had their 4 course dinner for $45. Wife and I both had the NY Steak, the good part…read morewas the steak was decent. Cooked right. That's where good ends. The appetizers were embarrassingly small, three shrimp on a cocktail plate with a spoonful of cocktail sauce was their shrimp appetizer. I chuckled when I saw it (just a reaction) the other appetizer was the potato skins and it was 4 skins and a decent potion but also served oddly on a tiny plate. The part that bothers me is the dessert. You get a choice of carrot or chocolate cake for dessert. If you have had their carrot or chocolate cake before it's a multi layer cake 2 or 3 layers. They brought out a single layer cake (half portion). It wasn't edible, the chocolate cake - the same. When you buy a slice of cake from the grocery store it's a small square piece of cake, this was that slice except then slice in half (think a small triangle), so not only do you not get the dessert that they normally serve you don't even get a standard slice of cake you get a half of a slice. The cake was dry and not tasty at all. It was so bad, I had to ask the wait staff - "Is this your normal cake now?" They replied "No we buy that cake and give out the small portion just for the price fix menu to save on costs" I would be less annoyed if the menu at least stated "mini cake" or petite portion but they deceivingly state chocolate cake and carrot cake as if you are going to get their chocolate cake or carrot (not a half slice of a grocery single layer dried up cake). I wish I took a picture of it for you to see, hopefully some others post the desserts from price fix menu and share and you can compare to their standard slice cakes. While the steaks were fine, I probably won't be coming back.

Definitely one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The vibe is awesome, the art inside is beautiful, and they even have live music. The owner was super friendly and took the time to share his experience with the dishes, which made it even better. We'll definitely be back. Just wish we lived closer so we could come all the time. Highly recommend if you're in Oceanside.

We were trying to find a place that was a midway point between Temecula and San Diego to meet up…read morewith a friend. We settled on Oceanside in hopes of finding good food, as our weekend (end of Feb) had been full of a poor results. This place came up as very well rated on Yelp, as my friend and I searched for places to eat. It was a Saturday night with great weather. The red flag I should have read into was that the lone guy working that night was a one man show. He was doing it all in the front of the house. I tried to get us a table to sit outdoors but he just couldn't get to the table to clean it. After about 20 minutes he finally came and just moved all the bowls to the empty table next to it and wiped it down. When my friends finally arrived we all sat down to sticky menus that had NO descriptions. What you see on the website is exactly what they have on the menu. We had to wait to ask the server/host what each menu item meant. It took a while to get our food from when we ordered. Thank goodness for good company, I didn't clock it. The food options were limited and keep in mind for those who have children, most of the options come with a spicy kick, you'll have to explicitly tell them "no spicy"! There was a party who had been sitting for a while before we got there and a kiddo took a bite of pizza and was crying, screaming from it being so spicy. With my ramen the portions are tiny for what you pay, with 1 piece of meat, not enough noodles. Flavor wise it was spicy and bland. We ordered a couple appetizers which were not very good. The edamame was overly salty and soaked in soy sauce and the karaage was probably the only good thing and that was a little overfried. No one in our party finished our food or took any of the leftovers home. Save yourself the trip, not worth trying the "unique foods".
