We've been coming to Texas Roadhouse for years. We absolutely love the atmosphere and the food! As soon as the hostess calls you for your table, they grab a basket of their famous fresh baked rolls and butter and walk you to your table. We all hit the rolls before we even look at the menu lol. I am a big fan of their margaritas with the kicker. Yes you can get a margarita with an extra shot of tequila! For the non-alcoholic drinks, their lemonade is really good. As far as food, I don't think you could go wrong with anything. We've tried the ribs, pulled pork, chicken critters, salads, country fried sirloin. We also like to start off with their cactus blossom. It's also a great place to embarrass someone for their birthday! I ordered the bone in ribeye 32.00 and I was cutting into it and it was all fat, then when I got to the steak part, completely cold raw. I ordered it Medium. they offered to cook it longer, 15 min go by while my sailor and his GF were already done with their meal, I still waited they brought it back but at this time I wasn't hungry. so they carried on and didn't not eave comp my meal. We have been going to this location every week for a long time. We love to sit at the bar and be served there and know everyone's name. My wife is a veteran and is treated as such. We also tip $25 on a $90 bill every time. Unfortunately we are forced to try other places as the last 3 or 6 times we have been unable to get a medium rare steak. We order med rare and get medium well. We order rare and get raw (blue). The servers at the bar are wonderful. We are crying that we have to move on. Last night was at the Texas Roadhouse at Metro. Have been there many times over the years, usually to get early bird meals. Have frequented because they honor veterans with a discount. We even get it when we get take-out. Last night for the very first time we were refused it . Server said manager refused it because we (3 of us) got the early bird meals and water. That's ridiculous! Food is excellent. Teamwork amongst the staff is five stars! Parking in this lot sucks, no way around it. I always check-in online in advance and the quoted wait times never seem to be accurate. I would tack on an extra 20-30 mins wait from whatever is quoted. The experience sucks until they seat you, that's where the magic begins. We were seated at a rather large table for a party of 3 but I'm not mad about it. Nicole was our server and she was kind, attentive and very personable. She nailed every "accommodation" I threw her way: extra croutons with the salad, extra cheese on the baked potato, extra butter with the rolls. Steaks were cooked to exact specifications and the ribs were fall off the bone. In observing the staff I noticed everyone pitches in to seat tables on a busy night. Servers at the surrounding tables were attentive to their parties. Busboys bust their butts to clear off tables quickly and efficiently. Visited the Valley of the Sun once again from San Diego, CA. Craving for steak and decided to visit the Texas Roadhouse at the Metro. After a short wait, I was seated right away. I ordered 8oz Sirloin steak which was cooked medium and was very delicious. My server Nicole was nice and accommodating, always checking on us. Went here last night with a bunch of family members. For a chain restaurant, good food (except for statement below). Our server, Madi, was EXCELLENT!! She alone gets 5+ stars. On top of refills and everything else our party of 8 needed. What dropped the rating was my finding a piece of steel wool in my salad. Husband flagged someone down, wasn't Madi, and they got the manager. Apparently lead infused meals are a regular thing according to the manager. And he's told the kitchen, multiple times, after a few days to throw out the cleaning scourers. Offered to bring me out another salad. Naw Brah... I'm good. Would have expected the manager to knock off the cost of the salad from the bill, but nope. What would have me come back..Madi. With little dining options open 4th of July I decided to come to this place. The last time I was at a Texas Roadhouse was about 4 years ago. Why you ask? Well it was not a pleasant experience my last visit at the one in New Mexico. This time around the staff were very friendly. Our server frequently check on me and my group. They made sure our glasses were always full. I have to say it was quite the improvement. We got our food within a reasonable time frame. The food was fresh and tasty. This was the second time trying this restaurant, the first time was a year ago on Valentine's Day. That day they were very busy so I felt that their food and service was not great because of that. We decided to give this place another try a few days ago. I regret it so much. The steaks were ok, the mushroom, onions and green beans were very salty. We also had an incident with the person bringing out the food. He dropped a rack of ribs on to the serving tray, he then grabbed a napkin from another table and put the ribs on top of the food that was on my husband plate. We were speechless that he would think that we would eat food that slid across the serving tray. We waited for our server to come to our table to let her know what happened and get the food replaced. The service was not great, our server spent most of her time talking to one table in particular. We had to wave her down to our table so she could bring us a drink refill, this was after waiting for her to come by our table at least once. I don't know, maybe this place just gets super busy and they don't have enough people to work so that's why they offer such poor service and food? We did love the rolls though. We were introduced by the waitress right away which was nice, however... she did take a while to get our drinks along with the rolls. We got our food and it was a good. My mom's steak was a bit brunt, however my California chicken dinner was flavorful. The waitress checked up on us only once but we were already done with our food. We were promptly greeted almost right after we sat down and she gave us the usual roadhouse speech about drinks which we don't mind, my wife was in the mood for a margarita but didn't know which kind to get, she recommended a few but really sold us on the frozen sangrias with tajin and they were delicious! The attentiveness of the service is what really stood out, another server brought out our onion appetizer that we ordered with ranch, she walked by and noticed there wasn't ranch and was right back with it before we even needed to ask, that's the exceptional service that we received was her knowing what we needed without even having to say anything and it was a fairly busy night. Our food overall was pretty good and one of the service managers even popped by to ask us how everything was and we had nothing but good things to say! This area is not the greatest for customer service as I've been to countless places where you are hardly being helped or served. We went on a busy Friday night and had a bit of a wait, but once we were seated the atmosphere was wonderful. Jazzmyne was our server and she was terrific and super energetic. Great worker and made us all smile throughout the night. The food is always great and well priced. Highly recommend the Sirloin or New York Strip with the corn and mashed potatoes. Had a gift card so we finally went here for dinner. We had to wait about 10 minutes but on Saturday at 5 it wasn't too bad. Sat us in a booth and Dylan was our server. He quickly brought the quissecential peanut bucket. Took our drink orders and brought those wonderful sweet rolls reminiscent of Hawaiian rolls. 5 star. Food order taken. One kids cheeseburger, one salmon, one bacon cheeseburger. Food came out quickly and hot. I can't vouch for the others but my salmon was cooked perfectly the only complaint is the lemony sauce that flooded the plate was extremely salty. Potato great. My son didn't really like his mini burgers because it was just meat and cheese. No lettuce, no tomato, he loves veggies in all capacity so this was a let down to him. My husband's burger cooked perfectly medium but he also said it was salty The food was nothing special but the pricing is good for portions. My salmon was only $11.99 and all kid's meals are $4.99.
