I like dining at Texas Roadhouse. Came here to try their Wednesday Special (8oz sirloin with two sides). They cooked our steaks just as what we want it to be. It was juicy and tasty. Enjoyed the baked sweet potato with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon on the side. The loaded baked potato was really good as well. Got a free appetizer (Cactus Blossom)by using the app. Very lively atmosphere. Our waiter "Markus" was amazing. Very welcoming and very friendly. We went here fot my husband's birthday and were very disappointed. The server screwed up my order not once but twice. I ordered a filet med rare a salad with ranch and a baked potato. When she brought my husbands salad but not mine i asked where mine was to which she replied i dont have u down for a salad i ordered you green beans. I told heri absolutely ordered a salad and i didnt even order green beans as my side. My food arrives at the table and my Medium rare filet a very rare filet cold in the center and bloody. Its served with a double order of the green beans i didn't order. As i was finishing eating what i could of my undercooked steak and not eating my green beans that i didnt order she finally comes back to the table with my salad and presents the check at the same time. Im addition to horrible service the food wasn't great. For a steakhouse it should have been better. Texas is my go to steak spot. Lately though, my steak is either over cooked or too bloody for my liking. And my alcoholic beverages take forever to come out. I went yesterday and I got my drink a few minutes before my dinner came out, and I ordered a margarita on the rocks but I received a frozen one :/ The service is typically good so no complaints there. My wife and I have been regular customers of Texas Roadhouse for years and had even bought takeout from this very location only a few days prior to our bad experience today. Earlier this week, I got an email from the Texas Roadhouse located at Metrocenter, which is the closest location to me. They were having a manager special where you can pre-order wings or kebabs. Well, I like wings and my wife likes kebabs, so that sounded great. Oh, how wrong I was. For the special, you can order the kebabs and wings by the pound, must preorder a few days in advance, and when you place your order you select your date and time to pick it up. I selected a time for today at noon. I arrive almost exactly on time, maybe a minute or two early. Unfortunately, my order was not ready for pickup and I had to wait fifteen to twenty minutes. That wasn't that big of a deal, but we started out on the wrong foot. The food finally arrives and I drive home. Excited to get into my lunch, I break open my bag to be horribly disappointed. The wings weren't wings at all, but boneless wings. The email said nothing about boneless wings and neither did the employee when I ordered. I look at the "kebabs" and that was even worse. In my world, a kebab is meat on a skewer, roasted along with some vegetables (onions, bell papers, etc.). This was not that. It was a bunch of chopped up steak and nothing else. The steak was chopped into pieces so small, I seriously doubt they would fit on a skewer. My guess is that this is their old unused meat and they are trying to figure out a way to not take a loss on it. That is understandable, but they need to be clear about what they are selling. Either way, this is not what my wife and I were expecting. I call and speak with the manager on duty, who was Olivia. I told her what happened and why I was disappointed. She basically told me that it was my fault and that I should have known that they only serve boneless wings there. I asked her, "Are you saying that if I get an email from Texas Roadhouse that says you're selling wings, that it is my responsibility to have the entire menu memorized so I know that they are serving boneless wings instead of actual wings?" Hearing the absurdity of that, she backtracked and blamed the person that took my order. She never addressed why I received chopped meat instead of kebabs. I was getting nowhere with Olivia and was still hungry, so I suggested that I bring the original order back and just get a couple of steaks instead. I offered to pay the difference and she agreed to that. In my opinion, Olivia was combative, and rude when I spoke with her on the phone. I was shocked that she decided to blame me for what I felt was their mistake. Further, I found her tone and manner of speaking to be snotty. That is not a great combination for dealing with an upset customer. Well, it doesn't end there. Still feeling frustrated about what just happened I called Texas Roadhouse's customer service number. The lady I spoke with was very nice and said she would open a case for me. Shortly after I finished my call with Texas Roadhouse's corporate line, I received a call from a gentleman by the name of Kerry, who identified himself as one of the owners of the Metrocenter location. I appreciated that he was pleasant on the phone and was willing to hear me out. He apologized for the situation. He asked if I was comped the difference in the price between the two meals and was surprised when I told him I was not. I reiterated that I had to give my card to the server twice, and was charged both times. In fact, he was so surprised that he asked me to check the price I paid so he could see if it amounted to the price of two steak dinners. I gave him the numbers from both receipts and he agreed that what I told him was correct. What he did not do was offer to take care of my next meal, or anything else for that matter. This is despite the fact that he was shocked enough that the other manager didn't comp me, that he had me double-check my receipts. In all fairness, he asked me what I wanted and I told him he needed to counsel his other manager on her people skills. I am old school and am not going to beg a business to do the right thing and make up for a lousy experience. If they want my business, they will let me know and it sure seems like Texas Roadhouse doesn't want my business. read more

Oh the taste of Texas! What a great feeling and experience I had on my last trip to Texas Roadhouse. I stopped in a few days ago with a friend who had never been there before. It's been years since I had been in. Matter of fact the times I ate there I always chose a poultry and vegetable entree as I did not eat beef. This time I decided to experience something new. The moment we walked in around 5pm we were greeted and seated with some warm fresh bread. Our drink orders were immediately taken. My friend decided to try the Sangria Margarita with an upgraded double shot. I settled for water. Looking through the menu we did the two person dinner for $42.00. This included an appetizer which we ordered the onion blossom. It still has not changed. Very tasty. I ended up getting a rib eye now that I beef sometimes. Along with a sweet potato and buttery corn. My friend ordered the Shrimp and Sirloin with green beans and a loaded potato. I was highly impressed with the taste of all items. The fact that they cut there meat there fresh and serve us our food in a timely matter we were very pleased. Observing the service at other tables I have to say everyone was please. Great service from all staff who even had a chance to line dance. The manager made my friends day by giving her a bag of peanuts to go along with a free appetizer for her next visit since it was her first time there. We will be back again. read more

I order to go from this place all the time and it's always good and chill and never have to wait long To highlight why I decided to write a review was one specific instance where I had the pleasure of being helped by the host Nas he was super kind and helpful. I had just gotten off work in Scottsdale around 9:40 and explained that I was not going to be able to make it till shortly after they closed and he went the extra mile and waited 15 minutes after closing for me to show up and I of course gave him extra gratuity for the patience. Not many employees especially in chain restaurants go the extra mile for people so it really stood out to me how helpful he was I hope you guys really reward and recognize good employees like this guy. I love, LOVE Texas Roadhouse! This has got to be one of my favorite locations. I absolutely hate waiting to be seated but I will wait any day for this place. We called ahead for 9 people and still waited 45 minutes to be seated. It was a Friday night, so it was to be expected. Luckily there's an endless barrel of peanuts to chow down on to keep your belly somewhat satisfied for a bit. It's fun for the kids cuz you can actually throw the shells on the floor and no one will care. Plus, I don't have to clean it up! As you are brought to your table they bring along their delicious yeast rolls and sweet butter. Mmmmm. I could feast on those amazing fluffy rolls of goodness and just be content. Our waiter was quick and on top of everything. She was always one step ahead on refills and super fun. She called my daughter out to dance with the waitresses and promised her ice cream after dinner, which she did follow through on. Most of us orders steaks, to be expected. I got the mushroom sauce. Oh my, so good! I have always loved the steak fries as well. If you're not into steak the chicken critters and bbq chicken sandwich are always a good choice. Overpriced horrible experience. Food servers literally have ONE (1) job and can't even do that right. Gave my kids food away to some other table. Then with a smile on her face says "sorry I read the ticket wrong, I'll be right back" Takes another 10 minutes. And by that point I asked for my money back on my plate only because apparently the chefs don't know what a medium done steak is and I was not about to wait another 45 mins or who knows how long for my food again. I really enjoyed my recent dining experience at texas Roadhouse. I did check in on the no wait app because I felt it would be better. I do feel it helped in getting a table a bit sooner.We were sat in a fairly short amount of time. Our server came right over.The server took our drink water and also our food order. As usual they brought over the fresh baked rolls, which were absolutely delicious.Our food came about 20 minutes later.I ordered the chicken fried steak which was absolutely delicious.I do recommend getting the gravy on the side versus on top of the meat. This was the worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever been to.We have always been BIG fans of Texas Roadhouse, because of the delicious and consistency of their food. At this location, The food took forever( over 40 minutes) and the food was less than mediocre. The party of 6 behind us was served before us when they came a good 15 minutes after us. Put steak was ordered medium rare and came out well well done. The manager tall white man in a red shirt stopped by and brushed us off because he was busy with several large parties. The silver lining was Ivey our server. She was a sweetheart and tried to make the most of it as possible. She apologized several times for something that was not her fault. Ivey was a wonderful server. I do not recommend this Texas Roadhouse location. They looked too busy and could not keep up. When this happens under poor management, everything goes down hill. We come here all the time and it's great. The best steaks I believe for a decent price. The service is usually a grade A as well as they have t.vs for all the sports. I had the chicken fried steak. Which as usual was bomb! There country gravy is soon good! I suggest everyone try it out for $13 can't beat the deal with 2 sides. Before 5 that meal is only $10 which is an even better deal. Only reason why they are not getting a five star out of me. Is as we went to eat the host stated that it is policy that they could not seat an incomplete party even though they were not even busy and had plenty of booths to sit us. He stayed that we would have to sit at the bar and wait for our other to arrive in order to be seated at a booth. Something I have never heard before. Finally I believe he talked to a manager and they were able to seat us as my wife showed up about 30 minutes later perfect timing for her meal as she arrived. We used to go to this location at least once a week. For years we would go enjoy drinks and food with no issue. We had horrible service one Sunday afternoon. We didn't even want to create an issue but the manager came to our table to apologize and comp our entire meal. I was more impressed with Texas Roadhouse than ever before. Our last interaction there will be the last time we ever step foot in their doors. We decided to go in for a few drinks and were rudely informed that they don't serve more than 3 drinks to a customer. I know I've been served more than 3 drinks at this place before but I didn't want to start a fight or cause a scene. We politely asked for our check, paid and left. We were in no way "too intoxicated". It was myself and my boyfriend at 3 in the afternoon just hanging out. I honestly don't understand why they would say that. It was embarrassing for all parties. Not happy with this restaurant experience. My husband ordered an end cut prime rib, we were reassured the server knew what he wanted she even checked to see if the kitchen had one available. So to my husband surprise he received a center cut bright red unseasoned slice ( that's how you know it's not an end cut, more rare and no seasoning on the end ) so what they did was put some ajus on the grill and browned it but he was told by one of the managers it was now an end cut! Would have been easy to accept them not having one but instead he thought a lie was a good idea really hope corporate see's this and do a better job training their managers, do they want to do business like this! Went to restaurant in Prescott around 3 pm. Seated promptly and greeted by young female server. My wife and I ordered dinner and I asked for 9 oz. Josh Cabernet. Server came back and said they were out of that wine. I was shocked that a big chain like TR would be out of that popular wine. NOTE: They only have 4 red wines on the menu and 3 are junk wines. So I ordered the 2nd best Dark Horse which is so so. So after a good appetizer, I ordered 8 oz sirloin and my wife the pork sandwich . Both were good, but we noticed that there were no salt and pepper shakers and our server disappeared. Worked at the other tables and there were no shakers at any table. Finally when our server did show up she places a salt and pepper shaker on our table and rapidly disappeared. She finally came back so I could get more sour cream for my now dry baked potato. So bottom line. 1.We will go back as we eat there once a month. 2. Servers have to be more attentive but unsure if lack of help is an issue. 3. Wine menu needs attention and wine needs to be fully stocked to avoid running out. 4. TR is so stingy with their butter and sour cream. Nothing worse that a dry baker. read more

We had a party of 17 come in for my Mom's Birthday lunch. Our service was great; however, we ordered 5 steaks with a medium well temperature, unfortunately, they were all well done. The Manager, Cohen, came out and apologized. He offered great customer service and made sure our steaks were cooked to the correct temp. This restaurant is one of our favorite places to go. The staff is always super friendly and it's one of the few TR that still does the line dancing. Our food is always good. The one time my streak was made wrong, they fixed it without any issues. They actually pushed for me to send it back, I was just going to eat it as is. The Rattlesnake Bites are the best appetizer. It can be a little loud in there, but no much that I have to yell to be heard at the table. It just means everyone there is having fun. read more

Look I love Texas Roadhouse rolls so I just wants one... it's not a live or die I just like them. Here are a few pointers for this location: 1. Check in online so you don't have to wait at the restaurant, saves you from sitting there. It's just not the best area of town. 2. Ask for rolls when you are being sat. 3. Order the fried pickles with ranch... just trust me they are so yummy! 4. If you didn't already know, since COVID there are no more peanuts which was super fun but o well. 5. Ask for an order of rolls to go... this location was awesome about this especially since most of the people are staying at the hotel across the street. It's honestly a great location just unfortunately not in a good part of town but I guess when your son's baseball team picks the hotel and it's paid for you just roll with it. Was not pleased with the food - except for the mac n cheese. 4 orders...ribs..dry and tasteless - had to get more BBQ sauce just to add some flavor, Regular burger was wierd tasting...not like other Roadhouse's we've been to. 12 oz prime rib was 8ozs of FAT. Mac n Cheese for the 6 year old grandson was Great! Service was ok... Ambiance. A NITEMARE...they didn't ask if we wanted the bar like most places do. they just said follow me...didn't realize it was the NOISE ROOM. I am unsure why reviews are so low for this place. I am not usually a fan of chains, but this place makes a mean ass steak. I've never had a bad experience here (which is surprising because the Metro Center area can be ROUGH.) The bread they give you is really good and the butter makes it taste even better. I AM SO IMPRESSED! They were seriously so amazing i cannot wait to go back!! First off the service was 100000/10. Our table seating, waiter, and the manager were all so kind, fun and welcoming! They got us rolls (which were warm and soft and fresh and mouth watering) and drinks asap.Our food was ready super quick and tasted absolutely amazing. My burger was juicy and the bun and bacon were perfectly crispy. The loaded fries were also super fun and full of flavor. When it was time for my check they gave us boxes and brand new refills with to go cups! Seriously the best service i've had in a longggg time. Waited almost half an hour for our food. Our server disappeared. Employee across from us spraying cleaner on the menus. The spray was everywhere. The smell was horrible! Told the manager, she offered to move us, but her attitude was horrible and rude. She didn't care. My husband asked the menu cleaner didn't he think it was wrong to be spraying chemicals around food and customers, he just laughed. The manager came back over and yelled at my husband stating he could not yell at her employees which wasn't the case. We got everything put in to-go boxes and left. Won't be returning.
