I'm from out of town and heard about this place from my friends who live in Frisco. They had me at fresh buttered rolls btw. When we walked in our party of 7 were greeted right away by a friendly staff and were seated. We walked by the servers area and I caught my first glimpse of the rolls and the fresh cuts of meats. Our server was really pleasant and attentive. We sat at a booth and place was very clean and cozy. We got our drinks right away along with several baskets of the most delicious rolls I've ever had. My daughter ate 5 and said she wished she could hit a reset but to her stomach so she could eat more. My bar is super high as my aunt made the best rolls I'd ever eaten. I must say these were even better! Highly recommend the cinnamon butter!! I had 6! Along with a very delicious and perfectly cooked bone in ribeye steak with grilled onions and mushrooms and a nice baked potato with all the trimmings. I won't be eating the rest of the day but man what an amazing food experience! The place was packed and I see why. Definitely come check them out! I will be on my next return to Texas! read more

We have been to this location a lot. Today was horrible. Our server Nia was the only thing that kept us there. She was on top of everything. AND it wasn't even that busy! First, told to come see the hostess stand as our table was ready. Stood there 10 minutes more waiting to be seated. Second, out of bread! I went and got our own when I saw some come out. Never seen it like that. Third, 2 steaks and grilled chicken was the order. ALL came out with a burnt char. You could smell the burnt and tasted like crap. You know, that I didn't clean the grill and that's burnt on from the last few things you cooked kinda char? Nasty! Never saw a manager. Not once. Not even the courtesy check they do every time. When they grab the taped on ticket at the end of the table. Our server said they were putting in the system that a table in their section was seated long before it was so that was kinda throwing off them. But she was great. Service was good, but the food could have been better. First the drink was watery...I had a margarita with with a shot of patron. When my meal came, the steak was barely warm, the mashed potatoes was barely warm, the corn was nice and hot. Then when I ordered food to go, I barely got fries with my order. My family of 4 have been here a few times. We haven't been disappointed yet. The kids love eating the peanuts. They can get very busy in the evenings on the weekends so be prepared for a little wait. I was visiting from Houston and this was my first time at this location. I understand it is the Holidays, but the service from the very beginning was unacceptable. 1st, bread was brought with no butter and plates. The waitress did not check on us even once, and our drinks never came. After almost finishing our meal, I waved down another waitress to ask about taking our drinks off the tab. I just went and the food was delicious! It came in huge portions and was pretty good for the value! My favorite thing were the rolls and cinnamon butter, the buttered corn and the baked potato. We have eaten at this particular locations several times and 90% of the time our experience was great. Last night I tried their pork chops. They were burnt in places or lets just say extremely well done in spots. I 'be been around long enough to know that if you look on both sides, sometimes the cook will flip the more ugly side down so you don't see it. It was just close enough that I noticed it. If you live in DFW then you know Friday nights are a hot mess. The lines are long, wait is outrageous and yet, we all want to eat out. We always choose go eat a little later (if the littlest one hasn't blacked out) and so Friday night it was just me and the kids and I chose a spot they've never been to because they were fighting over their fave spots. So we pull up and check in around 7:45, given 20-30 wait, and enjoyed the country music and balmy weather on the benches outside. 24 minutes later I get my text and move in, seated within a minute or 2. Table was clean, fresh hot rolls delivered immediately and drinks order taken right away. We order 2 kids meals, I get a surf n turf combo and let our server know I'll need a meal to go....she tells me she'll come back mid meal to place the order so it's hot when we leave. Those rolls......they are dangerous!! You can inhale 3 or 4 mindlessly if your not careful.... On to the meal itself; Kids got a chilli dog n fries; and Mac n cheese w/added tenders. I got 12oz ribeye and shrimp combos with loaded mash and green beans. Kids devoured their food and enjoyed their lemonade/apple juice. My steak was done perfectly rare!! The rib cap was so succulent and divine! Shrimp complete with butter on toasted rolls were perfectly seared! I had to finish it because it was so good. It's really a 2 meal portion but I got er done in one sitting. Got the shrimp, rice, salad and veggies for takeaway which my wife absolutely raved about; and as a result this will likely become a regular haunt for my family. I didn't have to leave the car intel they texted me to let me know my order was ready. Everything was packaged nicely. I had the 5oz Salmon salad. It was very good the salmon was seasoned to perfection. The lettuce on the salad was fresh as well as the other toppings. I chose a light ranch dressing and it was very tasty. My husband chose the 4 piece catfish. It was a very healthy portion. He had 2 sides. Baked potato and a side salad. The potato came with sour cream and butter. It was delicious with salt and pepper. Wow! Wow! Wow! I came here to the Prosper location with my family (party of 7). They don't do reservations but you can call ahead and they will put you on the waiting list. I called for 6:15pm on a Friday. We arrived and it was full. I get in and everyone was super friendly and they give me a buzzing device and informed me it was a 15 mins wait. I thought: fantastic!! We go outside and the buzz immediately started buzzing! The wait was no more than 5 mins. They sat us down: and Kevin came really fast to greet us. He was amazing. Like really he was so attentive, funny and all of our food came out exactly how we all wanted it. Then the manager: Sarah came to greet us and gave us some treats and free appetizers for our next time (which there will be a next time for sure!). She was so nice and she also came at the end to ask us how was everything. I have to admit this place exceeded expectations especially on a Friday evening when it was packed. I've come here pretty regularly over the last few years, as I enjoy the the rolls and the steak is a decent price for the quality. The food has always been decent and service good, but dealing with the host stand is a constant disaster. Not to mentioned the crowds surrounding it. I have 2 kids under 2 and we need space, ideally out of aisles, & table in the back large enough to spread out, which I try and make clear to the host stand every time. The comprehension of 1 of the lead hosts is lacking as she specifically has screwed this up multiple times. One time it took 3 tries, as she put us in a crowded corner, and when we asked to try again she moved us across the aisle to the same exact layout. This last time, it took 2 tries before we got frustrated and walked out. She kept trying to put us at smaller booths, across from the bar which is the busiest walk area. Each time we pointed out good empty tables that worked for us, we were denied and even jumped by another party of 4 with kids in high chairs that ended up at 1 of the tables we pointed out. Went to dinner with wife and son. Ordered normally and got salads promptly. Then proceeded to wait an hour for steaks. After the waitress realized this, she apologized and went to get our food. When steaks arrived, they were cold and overcooked. My son ordered chicken fried chicken so he was good, but my wife and I had to wait another 15 minutes for our steaks. To make matters worse, they once again overcooked mine and undercooked hers. It was clear they just wanted things done regardless of how. At this point I would have accepted a dried piece of meat they took of my wife's steak from the bill, which coincidentally was the cheapest of the 2. Two managers came over to apologize but even then it felt very much like a form apology. It will be a while before I return to this location. This was a slow Wednesday night.
