Pros & cons to our experience on Jan 12th. Cons: We noticed at one point a couple smacking lips & being all over each other in the bar.. no big deal, until we found out it was the BARTENDER. It was quite uncomfortable for us to try and watch the tv while the bartender was on the clock making out w/ a guy. We then noticed that other servers were acting different, like this was a normal thing from this bartender. So I asked our server about it, our server agreed it was a very common occurrence & it makes everyone uncomfortable. I understand going on a date, a kiss here & there but to be making out at your place of employment while you're on the clock is disgusting, embarrassing & unprofessional. Pros: Our server was absolutely outstanding, they made us laugh, frequently checked in on us, attentive, caring & it felt like they were just another friend. The food was amazing, hot, cooked perfectly and we took home lots of leftovers. Ultimately we will return, but we hope to see the bartender situation to be taken care of for the sake of customers & other employees. read more

My wife and I stopped in for opening night; it was busy. Everything is clean and new, lots of friendly staff being helpful. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We each started with a tasty beverage, the Kenny for Mary and an Armadillo punch for me, both drinks were very good. The bread was hot and delicious. We had the Tatar skins to start, potato skins, cheese, bacon bits, along with sour cream and ranch dressing to dip in; very good. The Caesar salads were dripping with dressing, to much actually; so the salad was only ok. Mary had the Herb crusted chicken and green beans; the chicken was cooked just done and still very moist, very good, the beans were standard. I had a small prime rib and mashed potatoes; the meat and potatoes were very tasty. For us the music was a little to loud, it makes it hard to have a conversation. Was told first come first serve. Disorganized shit show. Groups bigger than ours who showed up after us were seated before us. Waited 1hour 15min to just be ignored and watch the hostesses shoot the shit like some high school party. This was our first time here (mainly because we are not fond of anything Texas)... The place was clean, the staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic! Our server apparently informed the manager that it was our first time there and she personally came out before our food was served and thanked us for stopping in and we had an enjoyable, brief conversation. If the manager is reading this, it would be a much more enjoyable dining experience if you could carry a conversation with the people at your table without having to talk above the music and mixing up some old country music wood the newer style country you are playing would be great! read more

Finally made it to this very popular place! We let a lot of the hype die down before we made our way over and I'm glad we did because they're still so busy! But man, I was so surprised! The only negative I have is the potatoes for my dish were cold and the cheese they put on top was TOO MUCH and since the potatoes were cold my cheese didn't melt, bleh. Also, I could do without the awkward dancing and singing but I guess it's fun for families and if your into that type of thing but I'm socially awkward with that type of stuff, especially when the staff also look like they feel awkward and people have to stare at them.. Wheelchair users BEWARE! I went online and checked in and we headed to the restaurant and arrived 15 min early for our dining time and checked in with the person at the door, it should have been noted that I was in a chair but it was not noted until 20 minutes later when it was near our time to be seated. The hostess came up and told us that if we wanted a table that would accommodate the chair we would need to wait for the tables to be cleared and that they had just seated a party at the tables so it would probably be another 50 minutes, or we could take the available booth. I understand that people have to be seated in the order of arrival with the tables that are available so I wonder why they don't have more seating to allow wheelchair users to be seated in a timely manner and in this case why the party that was seated at the table wasn't given the booth that they wanted us to take. We took the booth but it sucks sitting at the end of a booth where the high chair goes and then dealing with people passing behind you the who meal running into the chair constantly. The food was good and it usually is, I get the pork chop and my wife likes the salmon and we have no complaints about the food. Please do better acknowledging your disabled customers and managing their seating needs so these things don't happen. Also fix the app you check in with online so you can note you have a wheelchair in your party. read more

I had a steak that wasn't cooked right and the two sides seemed as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. I had the chili for one of my sides & it was just barely lukewarm in temperature to the point that the cheese didn't even melt. I had loaded mashed potatoes as my other side, and it was also was just barely warm enough to be considered edible - the buttered topping didn't melt either. I didn't eat either of my sides because they weren't fresh. My partners fries were also cold and hard - not the way french fries should be served.
