Another fabulous dinner at Texas Roadhouse in St. Augustine Florida this evening, staff was very welcoming, one of the store managers came to our table to check on us which was very thoughtful. Food and service was extremely excellent!!!

We visited this location for spring break, we arrived and had to wait probably 5-10 minutes to be seated. Once sat the waiter was on point and very attentive. His energy was great! Don't recall his name but people like him should be more recognizable by the restaurant. We ordered steaks and the food was good, they could have don't a better job with the steak cooking since we asked for medium rare and it was cooked more than requested. We didn't give the restaurant a hard time to take it back but it's an observation. The restaurant was clean and all the staff were nice and friendly.

Our server was Nettie. This was our first time at this location, even though we live just seven minutes away. We arrived on a Saturday around 5:30 the restaurant was half full. The parking lot appeared to be full, but by further inspection, you see that the parking lot is surrounded by new cars from the dealership. I don't think he would run out of parking so don't be deterred if you think the restaurant is full because it is not. There was plenty of staff, and everybody was hustling and pleasant to interact with. We were set immediately. The bread at our table was warm my husband asked for plain butter, which never came. When we were at a barcode was placed on the edge of our table by the hostess. About 20 minutes into our seating the assistant manager came by introduced himself. They looked to be about 21 years old. He took the barcode and said let him know if there's anything that we needed. I found it very odd that he would wear a bass pro shop baseball cap when everyone else is wearing Texas roadhouse baseball caps. I ordered the Dallas fillet my husband ordered the New York strip . We compare the tenderness and my husband felt that they were the same, but I will say my steak was pink all the way through the edges due to ordering it medium rare he ordered medium rare, but the outer half inch of his steak was only slightly pink. I think that the onions and mushrooms must be cooked in that broom gravy that came with the mashed potatoes. You can't taste the onions or the mushrooms because it's so overpowering. I haven't been to Texas roadhouse in so long, but I forgot about this. I'd also forgotten how the mashed potatoes here are not whipped. They're more chunky if that's your style that's great but when I dug around my potatoes, there was like darker areas and then there were lighter areas. I don't know if this is because they sit in a sheet pan in the top gets a little browned due to oxidation or not. However, it did not make that appealing to me. I think they lack creaminess. But if you literally want mashed potatoes, like just squished potatoes, this is your style. Our salads did come out quickly . The restaurant was clean. I did not use the bathrooms because we live around the corner. Everybody in the restaurant seemed happy and satisfied with their experience. The bar was probably 2/3 full. I would say it's a good experience .

Texas roadhouse is a good stop for a family meal. Unfortunately, the last time we were there, our medium rare ordered. Steaks were extremely undercooked - even when sent back to be cooked a little bit longer. It ended up taking so long that two of us did not really get to eat so we just took it home. The manager did go ahead and comp one of the steaks. We typically have a great experience though, so we will continue to return. ** Photo is from a different visit

Food not as great as outback. Service. Dunno. Too long of a wait with empty tables everywhere. Ambiance not like Texas with the peanuts and shells in the floor. Left drove 20 minutes to Outback and was seated immediately not 45 min wait. Last time we went there. Jeez you are an exit on 95 get servers! Also hostesses should be over 25 not 17. They can't figure it out.

We really enjoyed Texas roadhouse they've been open a few months and is very busy but it's very smooth and getting seats at the bar. The service was fantastic and the food is really good too. They give you dinner rolls before with some cinnamon butter and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the 18 ounce, margarita that was very affordable and tasty. We will definitely be back.

Prime Rib for a change instead of the normal steak. Didn't care for the spices on the crust, but the meat is melt in your mouth tender.

What should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into an extremely stressful and disappointing situation due to the unprofessional conduct of the manager on duty, Ms. Kale. Upon arrival, my family and I were instructed to wait outside, which we did patiently for nearly an hour. Despite this long wait, we were then seated in an extremely crowded area with no regard for comfort, space, or safety. This lack of organization created significant stress for us, especially given my current recovery from a broken femur and hip. Additionally, my elderly mother, who flew from another country to visit us, and my four children -- including one with special needs -- were placed in an environment that was unnecessarily overwhelming and preventable with proper management. What made the situation far worse, however, was the behavior of Ms. Kale. When we voiced our concerns politely, she responded with unacceptable rudeness. Instead of offering a professional apology or attempting to correct the situation, she dismissed our concerns and even laughed in our faces. This reaction was not only unprofessional but deeply disrespectful. It reflected a complete lack of leadership, empathy, and customer-care standards. It is clear that this location is focused on bringing in as many guests as possible for profit, yet management is failing to properly coordinate seating, resulting in overcrowding and poor guest experiences. A manager's role is to ensure smooth operations and address issues respectfully -- something that was clearly lacking under Ms. Kale's supervision. I hope that this complaint is taken seriously, as no family should be treated in this manner. I request that appropriate action be taken to address the behavior of the manager and to improve the overall management practices at this location. Thank you for your attention. I look forward to you seeing seeing to help improvements implemented so that other guests do not experience what we did.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

The Bloody Mary is where it lost me. $15 is a serious price for a cocktail, and mine arrived as a tall glass of ice with what was left over poured around it. By the time I was a few sips in, it was mostly meltwater. For that money I'd expect the drink to outlast the ice. Suggestion for the house: given the name, lean into it. Send everyone home with a free bag of ice -- at least then I'd feel like I paid for something I got to keep. Would go back for the food. Would think twice before ordering another cocktail.

This French restaurant is located in a charming 3-story historic Jefferson house, once owned by Thomas Jefferson's great-granddaughter, Maria Jefferson Eppes Shine. The restaurant is on the first floor, with the entrance tucked away in the back. They have parking in the back. The second and third floors are home to a cozy Bed and Breakfast. We arrived right at 6 p.m. and were seated at a special table by the window. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has a lovely atmosphere. Renee was our server and treated us to a complimentary champagne for the occasion. She explained the menu and the specials. The Chefs Dinner Menu was fascinating, but unfortunately, I don't eat lamb. The menu changes frequently, so I'll definitely check it out again in the future and pair it with the optional Sommelier's wine pairing. There are so many wonderful choices, but I finally decided on the Bouillabaisse, remembering all the positive comments on Yelp. When my order arrived, it was presented on a large platter with a gorgeous display. It tasted as good as it looked, with the lobster eyes staring at me. It was a whole lobster, conveniently cut, which made it easier to eat. The combination of lobster, shrimp, mussels, and clams in a saffron-flavored broth was amazing. I'm so glad I chose it. My husband opted for the Steak au Poivre with Pomme Aligot. It's mashed potatoes with melted cheese, butter, and cream. The texture was a bit tougher than regular mashed potatoes, but still delicious. I tasted his filet, and it was so tender. He loves the poivre sauce on his steak. Renee recommended all the wines we picked. We started with the complimentary Frederic Chopin Brut Blanc de Blanc, and we really liked it, so we ordered more. For my meal, I had the Barbebelle Rosé, and my husband had the Peyrassol Merlot Syrah blend. Both wines complemented our meal perfectly. We did run into an issue with my Bouillabaisse, as it was a bit too salty. The manager, Parnos, came and apologized and had the chef prepare a new batch for me. They fixed the problem right away. I'm really impressed with the service, the amazing food, and the beautiful restaurant that's now La Nouvelle. They even gave me an amazing dessert with a birthday candle for free! It had a chocolate center, a crispy crust, whipped cream topping with chocolate morsels. La Nouvelle was outstanding in so many ways, making my birthday super special.

We started with the Chili-Lime Shrimp, and that dish alone set the bar high. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a spicy chili-lime garlic sauce that had just the right kick. The miso butter emulsion and sweet soy tied everything together with a rich, slightly sweet finish. The Poke Tuna was fresh and vibrant--sashimi-grade ahi tossed in a cashew-citrus ponzu with red onion, cucumber, and seaweed salad. The fried wontons added a nice crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. The Mediterranean Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The combination of green olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, goat cheese, and garlic worked really well together on a crisp crust, giving you a savory bite with a hint of tang. The Surf & Turf Fried Rice brought bold flavors to the table. Tender beef tips and shrimp sauteed in a spicy chili glaze over vegetable fried rice, finished with fried garlic, chili oil, miso butter, and sweet soy--it was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked just right--tender and juicy--paired with creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a decadent truffle sauce that elevated the whole dish.
