Loved it again. Loved it last time, loving it this time. From my sweetie: it's wonderful. It's tasty. From my oldest: they got the roadkill with a side of baked potato, she split it with her next younger sister. It's good. When you get it with the gravy, you can use that gravy with the baked potato, and it makes the whole thing that much better. I really enjoyed the meet. From my second oldest: I really liked it. I shared a roadkill with my older sister. It's amazing. The baked potato part is my personal favorite, but the mushrooms, very close second. The meat was good. My youngest says "it's very good and I just love it". She likes the steak fries, the buttered corn, and her root beer. I got the prime rib. They just do such a good job on it that when I come here I really want one.

Our experience was a really good one, especially since the restaurant was very busy. I has the 8 oz filet cooked medium rare. It was perfectly cooked. I had a side salad with Italian dressing which was great. A plain baked potato was my other side. It was all prepared just right. So why the 4 and not a 5. There was too much salt - on the filet and on potato. A 4 is a bit harsh but with that salt, it's not a 5. In spite of the salt, it was very good and we will come back.

The food is good as it should be, but even thought they are delicious the ribs do not fall off the bone. The mashed potatoes will always be my favorite. The customer service was great. I am just little sad about the ribs lol I couldn't finish it all so I took it home and now I'm hungry again.

Worst hostess entry experience we have ever seen. Just rude, unwelcoming, and horrible to witness.

Expect to pay more when the food is of this high quality and this well prepared! We started with the Caprese salad. Delicious! Burrata cheese, greens, prosciutto ham and a wonderful basaltic dressing. A+ on this! Then we both had the Maryland crab cakes. Lump crab cakes on asparagus. Just delicious, easily the best crab cakes I've had anywhere in Ohio, maybe the best I've ever had! A+ again! Service was fast and friendly! The setting is on the Great Miami River with a wonderful overlook! Everything was perfect! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

The dinning room is nice, low light and low music playing. It seemed to get a little smokey in there but it wasn't bothersome. Our server was so lovely! And another lady that was floating around checking on tables was very sweet and fun! We really struggled with our ordering and "locking it in"...therefore we ended up ordering what felt like half the menu. For appetizers, we got calamari and the baked crab dip. The calamari was pretty light and delicious. The crab dip was heavy and but had a great flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the chips but it was great with the bread that came to our table. The bread basket came out steaming and the butter was amazing we had to ask for extra. The butter is whipped and has green onions in it. Hubby and daughter each got clam chowder--it was different from what they are used to (and they are both clam chowder connoisseurs) but they still thought it was very good--just thinner and a lot more meaty ingredients. Daughter loved the halibut with risotto. Hubby really enjoyed the boathouse burger--bacon jam was new for him but he loved it. Though the burger was messy--he definitely cleaned the plate. My seafood platter was pretty good, I ate the scallops and coconut shrimp first. Then came our next dilemma...dessert!! So we each got one! Crème Brûlée, Highlander Grogg Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet. Everything was a hit!!

I was told there's an arcade. (But I didn't see it). I was welcomed immediately upon entering, and the young man had on the coolest shirt. I had a few laughs, it made a Klondike reference, he wore the shirt but had no clue, you had to experience it to get the pun. ( they sell them). I chose to sit at the bar. Then there I met the barmaid..... who was so bubbly and pretty and no I didn't say that because her shirt said that.(LOL) She showed me the special of the day both food and drink. I tried the spicy tequila shot made by the house with jalapeños...meh.. it wasn't hot enough for me but it was still ok. BUT the vegan taco that I had was soooo good. Who knew theres VEGAN TACOS! YES PKEASE!!! There was cauliflower instead of chicken inside but you could not tell the difference. IT was amazing. I had my friend take a bite and I got a 2 thumbs up(lol. Some interesting "new" Mexican choices on their menu, and that, along with quick, attentive service, reasonable prices, and a cozy, though spacious atmosphere, made for a MUY BUENA choice here in Troy!! They've got some tempting cocktails, but the Mr. went for a XX draft and I had agua (que aburrida!!) He ordered choripollo, which was a HUGE chicken breast w/plenty of chorizo and cheese, and I ordered a MASSIVE bowl of their crema de elote (cream of corn) soup, which was ok, but kind of watery and a bit bland. I spruce the leftovers up the next day, and made a hotter, creamier soup that was still two portions!!) and two chiles rellenos off of the a la carte menu. Yum!! We were last here YEARS ago, when this spot was home to the 55 Grill, and were happy to see it "hopping" again, with a reasonable, covid-sized crowd, nice decorations, good music, and definitely something for everyone... Looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to try their two open air patio spaces!!
