One of the most beautiful views in the valley! Super fun, chic vibes inside and the hotel lobby at the bottom was beautiful! Definitely a little more upscale, offers valet etc... food was incredible, mostly Mediterranean but some fusion items. Drinks were great, staff was nice but service was a smidge slow. I came here for the first time for a friend's birthday and I had quite the experience! My friends and I had a blast and the staff truly went all out to provide top notch service. For example, it was a bit chilly the day we went, and we were brought blankets to cover up - which was so thoughtful! Aside from that, the food was also really good. I enjoyed the hummus dip with pita, the mushroom tempura roll, the broccolini, and the Greek prince cocktail. The cocktail was so good, I had to get another! Wow, this place is such a vibe. We went on a Thursday night and it was PACKED. It's definitely a place to be seen. The restaurant is gorgeous and the views are incredible. Thea is situated on the top floor, giving you a beautiful view of Camelback. It's a great place to watch a sunset. The cocktails were very, very good. Our entire party loved what they ordered and the standout was the frozen sangria. Our server was lovely. She was very attentive despite how busy she was. We started with the Goddess of all Dips, a sampler of all the dips they offer, plus pita and crudite. We liked most of them but LOVED the Whipped Ricotta. Our entrees were hit or miss. Our group had the Open Face Lamb Pita (it was meh), some sushi rolls (didn't taste fresh), and the Kofta skewer (delicious). We didn't attempt desert. Parking was easy, there's a self-park lot in front of the hotel. The valet service was super convenient ($8). I recommend you make a reservation, especially if you're going on a weekend. We keep dreaming about the Goddess of All Dips with the bazlama and pita. YUM. Everything here was great including the roasted carrots, Kofta, falafel, Ans salmon, but I would say the tabbouleh is just alright. It is a very loud place in the evening, so just prepare for that. I love! From the beginning of the experience to the end. The parking was a breeze! Love that they accodmenate for parking. The appetizers are fire! Try that whipped ricotta!!! I had the shrimp Scorpio! Mouth still watering. So good!!!!! Drinks was a bit pricey but it's Scottsdale! The servers was so nice and kind! We needed an extra seat and they made sure we had that set up! I went on my birthday during and it was really windy but perfect at the same time! I have had the chance to try both restaurants in the Global Ambassador and both were great and very different experiences! Thea is a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view of Camelback mountain and open seating concept. If the weather is good, I suggest the outdoor seating for the best experience. There is also a rooftop bar if you're looking to have some drinks with friends and relax. The Kofta Skewer was a tender and juicy mix of meats and tasted amazing with the rice it was paired with. Our favorite dish was the crispy rice spicy tuna. They fry the rice perfectly to a crisp outside and soft rice inside and the tuna mix on top was great. I think my girlfriend and I would come back for this dish alone! The Octopus was very different compared to any other octopus dish I have had but I loved the tender bite and Mediterranean sauce that it came on top of. The flatbread and feta salad were both very fresh and filled with taste as well! I can't wait to come back and try more from here. read more

Théa has become one of my absolute favorites! Perched atop The Global Ambassador Hotel, Théa offers a modern Mediterranean dining experience with 360 degree views of Camelback Mountain and the City below. The ambiance is upscale and vibrant, with a very stylish crowd. The service is great, I've only had an issue one time with service. It was with a snotty bartender - who later regretted it after we ordered a $200 bottle of wine with another server. I love to start with the Whipped Ricotta or Flaming Saganaki, then a salad and perhaps the Open Face Lamb Pita or Greek Style Lamb Chops as the main. I highly recommend ordering family style. And you can't go wrong by being there for the amazing for sunset views. read more

I have always wanted to try this restaurant and never had the chance to go until now. We checked into our reservation and were quickly seated to our table. The service was top notch , and he providing us with all of the recommended food items on the menu (no joke our server was so good, I wish I remembered his name). I got the aperol spritz, some dumpling appetizers and the truffle flatbread pizza. All very delicious and filling! also the views were absolutely gorgeous. Overall great time and great food! This has got to be one of the best dining experiences ever. Everything is exceptional. The Grand Entrance. The Lobby Bar. The Golden Hour Views. This was my third time dining at théa. There are some things I could eat every day for a month and still want it tomorrow. Like the Bazlama bread, covered with herb garlic and served with yeminite tomato and green zhoug. I could eat this bread every day, several times a day. If only I lived close enough to the GA. My table also shared the Kopanisti, a spicy, whipped feta with Aleppo honey with its own plate of warm pita bread. And a plate of Urfa roasted brussels sprouts with dates will make you love brussels sprouts. Really. Then there were the dates. One bite of sweet and salty bliss. Our main meal centered around the Lamb Chops, Brick Chicken and the Kofta skewer with Spanakorizo. All were excellent in every way, from presentation to flavor and the perfect size to share at our table of 4. Before we got to dessert, my favorite dish was the Sumac yams. The way the skins are done, so think and crispy, I thought I was eating the best bacon I'd ever had. But then dessert came. Someone's Greek grandmother must be in the kitchen making the Baklava and the greek yogurt that topped the Olive Oil Cake. The delicious food, the fantastic cocktails and beer, and the attentiveness of our server Marco and manager Pari, made our evening complete. And one we'll look forward to having again and again. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I am visiting AZ, from Dallas, which has many a fine dining experience. However, this place was better most things I've had in Dallas. This meal was so incredible; there was not a single thing we ordered that we (me and my mom) thought was mediocre. The ambiance is fabulous--truly a stunning restaurant and we sat on the outside rooftop and it was perfection. Our server, Morgan, was amazing as well. I have celiac (and so does she, coincidentally) and she took great care of us. I would highly recommend this spot for gluten free eaters living in or visiting Scottsdale, and of course, even if you're not gluten free as well. Reservations are a must. We still waited to be seated but I can't imagine not having a reservation. Reservations open 30 days before you want to book. So, if you wanted to eat here on 9/12, you couldn't reserve a table until 8/12. I will say it is 100% worth it. The views are spectacular. Had it not been in early June, we would have sat outside & honestly, I will be back so when it's cooler, I will definitely sit outside. Also, they do validate parking! Take advantage of that. Inside can get loud because the space isn't huge but it is bustling for sure. Wait staff is super nice, knowledgeable, & attentive. The food was AH-MAZING. We got the flaming sagankai because what is a Mediterranean dining experience without saganaki. I ordered the steak which was so tender & delicious. I could have eaten 2 steaks. The bacon wrapped dates were so good even my friend who doesn't like dates loved this dish. This is absolutely a repeat dish! One friend ordered the branzino which she never had before. I visited this spot one night on my trip to Arizona. I ended up coming back a second night during my trip. We initially wanted to dine at the restaurant nearby however we did not make reservations and the wait was too long so we sat at this bar and had a surprisingly very nice time. The ambience is dim but full of bright energy and people having a good time. We ordered a couple plates while at the bar, including crispy rice and spicy tuna, feta dip, and some potato wedges . The crispy rice was a hit and would definitely order again. The feta dip was just OK and the potato wedges were crisp and filling. We also ordered a Margarita and espresso martini, and those were both solid, but not the best espresso martini I've ever had. The bartender was very kind. Seating is pretty limited at the bar as well so if you do come, plan to arrive early and expect to wait around for a few little . After an unfortunate experience during our first visit to Thea, we returned to give it another chance, and I am SO GLAD that we did. First off, I want to commend the staff for being so wonderfully attentive to our party. Our server, Emma, did a phenomenal job throughout the meal and gave fantastic recommendations. I will forever be switching out the pita bread for bazlama bread to accompany all of the dips. To start, the team offered us champagne and sangria-soaked watermelon--a thoughtful gesture as we were celebrating passing our boards and completing our doctorates. Our reservation was for 6 pm and we headed up a few minutes before. Although the restaurant was busy, as expected on a Saturday night, we were seated promptly at our table at 6. We then ordered the Muhammara, baba ghanoush, and the meatballs to start. Emma was so sweet and provided additional bread so we could finish up the dips. Our entrees were all phenomenal, no notes. I was informed that the chef recommended the grilled skirt steak be cooked to a medium, but I could not bring myself to do that and ordered it medium rare. It was cooked to perfection and so delicious with the pesto. I only ended up with leftovers as I filled up way too early with the shared appetizers. Those leftovers came in handy as snacks later on in the night as we spent the rest of our evening at the lobby bar (which is always a great time). The parisian spritz is always our go to and my steak paired perfectly with a glass of the super tuscan red. The boys had also shared a bottle of a pinot grigio and had a splendid time. First time at Théa did not disappoint! I love the smaller more intimate boutique hotel vibe. Armies of servers and attendants means you aren't waiting without service. We went on a Sunday at 5:45 had a reservation and was pleasantly surprised that the hotel and restaurant were hopping. I was worried that given the heat and time of year that it might be empty but that wasn't the case. Pumping music, lots of super cars parked at the entrance and a full restaurant greeted us. We ordered bottled still water and the Wake Up Call drink and a coke. Our server was very friendly as per usual when you dine out at a nicer restaurant here but his constant service and checking back in with us was really nice. We ordered the Zucchini Chips and Whipped Ricotta appetizers. Both were very good! I literally couldn't stop eating the Whipped Ricotta dip on my Zucchini chips, hands down one of the best dips I have ever tasted, honey and a sprinkling of black pepper and Mediterranean spices made for one of the best and most complex flavors!! Then we ordered a feta cheese less Greek Salad for me and the Open Face Greek Wraps for him, both were good. So many restaurant's desserts aren't anything to save room for but Théa's deserts are so worth it. The baklava and Lemon oil cake weee both so good! The view, the food and the service will keep me coming back. The vibes are great, it is loud, the rooftop patio isn't as big as I thought it would be. But The Global Ambassador overall is a great spot. Our server was great, he was attentive but not pushy. This was actually bigger than we expected so our party of 4 indulged), bacon wrapped dates (standard but hit the spot), greek street fries (sooo good with the red pepper feta sauce and seasonings), mushroom tempura roll (interesting and quite delicious), Hugo cocktail. So so dishes: Pressed yellowtail and avocado, bone in rib-eye (dry even though we ordered it medium-rare +), sunseaker cocktail (too sweet and not very well balanced). We came here for the first time to check out the bar. It was a beautiful place. I'm not sure why they add 20% gratuity to your bill automatically. We ordered drinks at the outside bar and the bill was higher than the drinks from the inside bar. We got the same kind of drinks.
