Food was amazing staff really nice too! It's a local favorite spot that people love and you will enjoy.

I haven't actually dined in, it's always a delivery because my family in the area is still not ready to be in restaurants post Covid. The food is always delivered fresh and promptly, even when it may be noted the delivery can arrive between 35-40 minutes. We stick to the same items most of the time. Veggie dumplings, Thai 101 dumplings, basil fried rice, chicken wings, crispy rolls and my favorite...the Thai tea. I noticed a few times with the Thai dumplings, they can have more gristle than chicken. Mainly when I order late in the day this occurs... The chicken wings are Spicy and have been chewy at times.

This place is walking distance from my home so I called ahead to order take out. The duck dishes intrigued me, so I asked if the Spicy Basil duck could be made mild. Thankfully the restaurant was able to accommodate my request. I also ordered the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer and Thai iced coffee. My meal was ready upon arrival. The Thai iced coffee was decent, but didn't have enough condensed milk to my liking so it wasn't as sweet as I'm used to. Firecracker was crispy shrimp in wonton wrap and shrimp chips. It also came with a delightful mayo sauce which had a little kick, but was not too spicy even for me. I enjoyed the crunchiness of the shrimp and it was well seasoned. I ate the shrimp and chips together, which gave it an extra layer of crispness. The Basil duck consisted of a medley of vegetables on top, including green beans, carrots, onion, along with really tasty basil sauce, as well as garlic and a few other potent seasonings. Underneath the vegetables was roasted duck, which was nicely tender and full of basil flavor. It think I would have preferred it with crispy duck though. I would consider trying other menu items from this establishment, but there are so many different Thai restaurants on Myrtle Ave that I would like to sample some other places first.

My last few pad Thai experiences have been so turrrible that I was beginning to think that I don't even like pad Thai. Thai 101 has reset my thinking. Treated myself to an early veggie dinner after an MD visit up the block. My basil vegetable noodles, were filled with tasty carrots, broccoli, peppers, egg etc. Flavors were great but be warned, super spicy. My crispy rolls were delicious. All the food was smoking hot, fresh and why I'll be going back soon.

I ordered veggie dumplings and basil noodles. The dumplings were NOT COOKED! It was late night as there was no other place for me to order from. ANNOYED AND HUNGRY!

We ordered a few appetizers too, but we're so hungry we forgot to take pictures. Fried Calamari, spring rolls were very good. The dinners were very good too, lots of flavor and fast service. It's a nice quiet place for a quick meal.

Came here w/ a friend for there lunch specials under $8 , you get 2 plates. One is a small appetizer and the other is a main. I got the beef w/ Pad Thai Noodle Lunch Special which is not bad , she order the Sriracha Chicken Lunch Special w/ rice . if you wait till 5 pm it's 2 for 1 drinks . So you can really score here ...it's not a lot of seating , , I see I lot of people were getting pick up orders Togo .and that's a good sigh .. for a restaurant ..

Ordered lunch from Thai 101 Bistro. Delivery was quick. The lunch special is a great price. Portion is definately enough for lunch. Basil rice was good just needed a little more heat. The Pad Se Ew also good, nice flavor. Didnt care for the crispy roll.

I had hair in my damn lemonade Lost my appetite and didn't even bother to take it back! By the time I got home I regained my appetite, judge ‍ me lol. I figured I'd at-least eat the food. Crab fried rice is good but could use some soy sauce. I like it though. The chicken wings made my stomach hurt! I'm watching the nfl playoffs in pain. I took off all my clothes to use the bathroom. Never going here again. The hair in my lemonade is crazy! I've never seen anything like that!

I am searching for that perfect Thai food restaurant in Fort Greene area. I ordered from this neighborhood spot Thai 101 bistro . I got - Basil fried rice: the tofu was perfect and the basil flavor was strong. I just wish it was a tad bit more spicy. Not pictured but I also got their dessert fried banana with matcha ice cream- this was unique and I enjoyed it. This is a great spot, tbh I can't complain much coz all that food was only $10 and the delivery was quick . I gotta try other spots in the area but for now glad that I found a cheap and quick Thai place.

The Thai Ice tea is so AMAZING. All the appetizer are so good Chili Wings, Curry Puff, Fire cracker shrimp are my faves. The Lunch special price is so affordable my go-to is the Basil Noodles and Pad Thai. best service also.

Pad Se Ew was so delicious but extremely small portions. Container half full. Looked like I already ate from it - don't get calamari as protein Sriracha chicken was chewy. Needed more spice.

Our group of 4 started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few appetizers to share, namely: Som tum papaya salad and dumplings curry. For the main entree, my eyes caught the attention of clay pot mix-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, sweet sausage, and my partner chose shrimp pad thai. Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

PLEASE get the mango stick rice cocktail omg it was gone in like 5 sips because it was so good. The tuna ceviche was so refreshing and the sauce had a little kick to it which I absolutely loved! It was like a sprinkle of Thai on a classic tuna ceviche. Note the taro chips are a little thicker than a typical chip! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. We got pineapple lychee crispy duck, crab fried rice, and kana crispy pork over rice as our entree. ALL WERE SO GOOD! The curry for the pineapple lychee crispy duck was so creamy and flavorful, with the duck portion being huge and being the perfect texture. I loved that it was crispy and didn't get soggy fast in the curry. The crab fried rice was top tier as there were SO MANY HUGE CRAB PIECES!! You can definitely tell that it had flavors of seafood/crab.. they did not skimp out! And the kana crispy pork over rice was huge portion as well, but note that it was a big strong/saltier than the other dishes. For dessert, the pandan coconut pudding custard was SO yummy. It was warm and so flavorful and creamy!! I fell in love with Brooklyn even more after coming here. Highly recommend!!

I feel differently about Hungry Thirsty. At this point I've been to countless Thai restaurants, and for the most part they've all been fantastic. Compared to all those fantastic meals the flavors here still stand out and I'm excited to read that they're expanding with additional locations. They have a phenomenal and lengthy beer selection, which is fun because it complements the spicy fried dishes quite well. The fried branzino and shrimp and squid in salted duck yolk were very tasty with white rice but the dish that lit up my taste buds was the Kai Jeow Pu- colossal crab omelette. The egg was deep fried in an aromatic oil and filled with fresh, large pieces of crab and served with a phenomenal zesty sauce. The place is tiny and no frills, and our server chafed at my partner for pronouncing a beer on their menu incorrectly, which just added to the experience. I loved it here!

I enjoyed the food and the event so much that I've returned and told others to go as well. What I like the most is that Chiangmai's expansive menu showcases aspects of Thai cuisine that you're probably not getting at your neighborhood spot. Many items are Northern Thai style dishes. I'd never had Khao Soi before coming here and I was blown away. The chiangmai sausage is also delicious. The roasted duck curry boasts deep flavor while also maintaining the crispiest duck skin. For appetizers, we started with the crispy salmon belly bites and the moo ping. Frying salmon is risky, but the fattiness of the belly keeps it from drying out. The moo ping is nicely grilled and served with a sweet sauce. You just can't go wrong ordering meat on a stick. As an entree, I tried the Gaeng Awm Nur, a soup-like beef dish served with a side of sticky rice. Our server had been really nice and welcoming, so I felt ok asking how I should eat my meal. She advised that I make a ball of some sticky rice with my hand, mash it a bit, and then dip it into the soup. Thai food achievement unlocked! Now I know what to do next time I'm served sticky rice. There's so much on the menu it can be hard to choose. This is encouragement to go with someone else who enjoys food so you can choose things to share! You won't be disappointed and in fact may find that your regular Thai spots could step up their game in comparison.
